에스더(Ester) 2장 [개역한글 : RV1909 : NIV]

1. 그 後(후)에 ^ㅠ아하수에로王(왕)의 怒(노)가 그치매 와스디와 그의 行(행)한 일과 ^으그에 對(대)하여 내린 詔書(조서)를 생각하거늘
   
2. 王(왕)의 侍臣(시신)이 아뢰되 王(왕)은 王(왕)을 爲(위)하여 아리따운 處女(처녀)들을 求(구)하게 하시되
   
3. 全國(전국) 各(각) 道(도)에 官吏(관리)를 命令(명령)하여 아리따운 處女(처녀)를 다 都城(도성) 수산으로 모아 後宮(후궁)으로 들여 宮女(궁녀)를 主管(주관)하는 內侍(내시) ^이헤개의 손에 붙여 ^ㅐ그 몸을 淨潔(정결)케 하는 物品(물품)을 주게 하시고
   
4. 王(왕)의 눈에 아름다운 處女(처녀)로 와스디를 代身(대신)하여 王后(왕후)를 삼으소서 王(왕)이 그 말을 善(선)히 여겨 그대로 行(행)하니라
   
5. 都城(도성) 수산에 한 유다人(인)이 있으니 이름은 ^ㄱ모르드개라 저는 베냐민 子孫(자손)이니 ^ㄴ기스의 曾孫(증손)이요, 시므이의 孫子(손자)요, 야일의 아들이라
   

1. PASADAS estas "cosas," sosegada ya la ira del rey "Assuero," acordóse de "Vasthi," y de lo que "hizo," y de lo que fué sentenciado contra ella.
   
2. Y dijeron los criados del "rey," sus oficiales: Busquen al rey mozas vírgenes de buen parecer;
   
3. Y ponga el rey personas en todas las provincias de su "reino," que junte todas las mozas vírgenes de buen parecer en Susán residencia "regia," en la casa de las "mujeres," al cuidado de "Hegai," eunuco del "rey," guarda de las "mujeres," dándoles sus atavíos;
   
4. Y la moza que agradare á los ojos del "rey," reine en lugar de Vasthi. Y la cosa plugo en ojos del "rey," é hízolo así.
   
5. Había un varón Judío en Susán residencia "regia," cuyo nombre era "Mardochêo," hijo de "Jair," hijo de "Simi," hijo de "Cis," del linaje de Benjamín;
   

1. Later when the anger of King Xerxes had subsided, he remembered Vashti and what she had done and what he had decreed about her.
   
2. Then the king's personal attendants proposed, "Let a search be made for beautiful young virgins for the king.
   
3. Let the king appoint commissioners in every province of his realm to bring all these beautiful girls into the harem at the citadel of Susa. Let them be placed under the care of Hegai, the king's eunuch, who is in charge of the women; and let beauty treatments be given to them.
   
4. Then let the girl who pleases the king be queen instead of Vashti." This advice appealed to the king, and he followed it.
   
5. Now there was in the citadel of Susa a Jew of the tribe of Benjamin, named Mordecai son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish,
   

6. 前(전)에 바벨론 王(왕) 느부갓네살이 예루살렘에서 유다 王(왕) 여고냐와 百姓(백성)을 사로잡아 갈 때에 ^ㄷ모르드개도 함께 사로잡혔더라
   
7. ^ㄹ저의 三寸(삼촌)의 딸 하닷사 곧 에스더는 父母(부모)가 없고 容貌(용모)가 곱고 아리따운 處女(처녀)라 그 父母(부모)가 죽은 後(후)에 모르드개가 自己(자기) 딸같이 養育(양육)하더라
   
8. 王(왕)의 詔命(조명)이 頒布(반포)되매 ^ㅁ處女(처녀)들이 都城(도성) 수산에 많이 모여 ^ㅂ헤개의 手下(수하)에 나아갈 때에 에스더도 王宮(왕궁)으로 이끌려 가서 宮女(궁녀)를 主管(주관)하는 헤개의 手下(수하)에 屬(속)하니
   
9. 헤개가 이 處女(처녀)를 기뻐하여 恩惠(은혜)를 베풀어 ^ㅅ몸을 淨潔(정결)케 할 物品(물품)과 日用品(일용품)을 곧 주며 또 王宮(왕궁)에서 依例(의례)히 주는 일곱 宮女(궁녀)를 주고 에스더와 그 宮女(궁녀)들을 後宮(후궁) 아름다운 處所(처소)로 옮기더라
   
10. ^ㅇ에스더가 自己(자기)의 民族(민족)과 宗族(종족)을 告(고)하지 아니하니 이는 모르드개가 命(명)하여 告(고)하지 말라 하였음이라
    

6. El cual había sido trasportado de Jerusalem con los cautivos que fueron llevados con Jechônías rey de "Judá," á quien hizo trasportar Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia.
   
7. Y había criado á "Hadassa," que es "Esther," hija de su "tío," porque no tenía padre ni madre; y era moza de hermosa forma y de buen parecer; y como su padre y su madre "murieron," Mardochêo la había tomado por hija suya.
   
8. Sucedió "pues," que como se divulgó el mandamiento del rey y su "acuerdo," y siendo reunidas muchas mozas en Susán residencia "regia," á cargo de "Hegai," fué tomada también Esther para casa del "rey," al cuidado de "Hegai," guarda de las mujeres.
   
9. Y la moza agradó en sus "ojos," y halló gracia delante de él; por lo que hizo darle prestamente sus atavíos y sus "raciones," dándole también siete convenientes doncellas de la casa del rey; y pasóla con sus doncellas á lo mejor de la casa de las mujeres.
   
10. Esther no declaró su pueblo ni su nacimiento; porque Mardochêo le había mandado que no lo declarase.
    

6. who had been carried into exile from Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, among those taken captive with Jehoiachin king of Judah.
   
7. Mordecai had a cousin named Hadassah, whom he had brought up because she had neither father nor mother. This girl, who was also known as Esther, was lovely in form and features, and Mordecai had taken her as his own daughter when her father and mother died.
   
8. When the king's order and edict had been proclaimed, many girls were brought to the citadel of Susa and put under the care of Hegai. Esther also was taken to the king's palace and entrusted to Hegai, who had charge of the harem.
   
9. The girl pleased him and won his favor. Immediately he provided her with her beauty treatments and special food. He assigned to her seven maids selected from the king's palace and moved her and her maids into the best place in the harem.
   
10. Esther had not revealed her nationality and family background, because Mordecai had forbidden her to do so.
    

11. 모르드개가 날마다 後宮(후궁) 뜰 앞으로 往來(왕래)하며 에스더의 安否(안부)와 어떻게 될 것을 알고자 하더라
    
12. 處女(처녀)마다 次例(차례)대로 아하수에로 王(왕)에게 나아가기 前(전)에 女子(녀자)에 對(대)하여 定(정)한 規例(규례)대로 열 두 달 동안을 行(행)하되 여섯달은 沒藥(몰약) 기름을 쓰고 여섯달은 香品(향품)과 女子(녀자)에게 쓰는 다른 物品(물품)을 써서 몸을 淨潔(정결)케 하는 期限(기한)을 마치며
    
13. 處女(처녀)가 王(왕)에게 나아갈 때에는 그 求(구)하는 것을 다 주어 後宮(후궁)에서 王宮(왕궁)으로 가지고 가게 하고
    
14. 저녁이면 갔다가 아침에는 둘째 後宮(후궁)으로 돌아와서 妃嬪(비빈)을 主管(주관)하는 內侍(내시) 사아스가스의 手下(수하)에 屬(속)하고 王(왕)이 저를 기뻐하여 그 이름을 부르지 아니하면 다시 王(왕)에게 나아가지 못하더라
    
15. 모르드개의 三寸(삼촌) ^ㅈ아비하일의 딸 곧 모르드개가 自己(자기)의 딸같이 養育(양육)하는 에스더가 次例(차례)대로 王(왕)에게 나아갈 때에 宮女(궁녀)를 主管(주관)하는 內侍(내시) ^ㅊ헤개의 定(정)한 것 外(외)에는 다른 것을 求(구)하지 아니하였으나 모든 보는 者(자)에게 굄을 얻더라
    

11. Y cada día Mardochêo se paseaba delante del patio de la casa de las "mujeres," por saber cómo iba á "Esther," y qué se hacía de ella.
    
12. Y como llegaba el tiempo de cada una de las mozas para venir al rey "Assuero," al cabo de haber estado ya doce meses conforme á la ley acerca de las mujeres (porque así se cumplía el tiempo de sus "atavíos," esto "es," seis meses con óleo de "mirra," y seis meses con cosas aromáticas y afeites de "mujeres),"
    
13. Entonces la moza venía así al rey: todo lo que ella decía se le "daba," para venir con ello de la casa de las mujeres hasta la casa del rey.
    
14. Ella venía á la "tarde," y á la mañana se volvía á la casa segunda de las "mujeres," al cargo de Saasgaz eunuco del "rey," guarda de las concubinas: no venía más al "rey," salvo si el rey la "quería," y era llamada por nombre.
    
15. Y llegado que fué el tiempo de "Esther," hija de Abihail tío de "Mardochêo," que él se había tomado por "hija," para venir al "rey," ninguna cosa procuró sino lo que dijo Hegai eunuco del "rey," guarda de las mujeres: y ganaba Esther la gracia de todos los que la veían.
    

11. Every day he walked back and forth near the courtyard of the harem to find out how Esther was and what was happening to her.
    
12. Before a girl's turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics.
    
13. And this is how she would go to the king: Anything she wanted was given her to take with her from the harem to the king's palace.
    
14. In the evening she would go there and in the morning return to another part of the harem to the care of Shaashgaz, the king's eunuch who was in charge of the concubines. She would not return to the king unless he was pleased with her and summoned her by name.
    
15. When the turn came for Esther (the girl Mordecai had adopted, the daughter of his uncle Abihail) to go to the king, she asked for nothing other than what Hegai, the king's eunuch who was in charge of the harem, suggested. And Esther won the favor of everyone who saw her.
    

16. 아하수에로 王(왕)의 七年(칠년) 十月(십월) 곧 데벳月(월)에 에스더가 이끌려 王宮(왕궁)에 들어가서 王(왕)의 앞에 나아가니
    
17. 王(왕)이 모든 女子(녀자)보다 에스더를 더욱 사랑하므로 저가 모든 處女(처녀)보다 王(왕)의 앞에 더욱 恩寵(은총)을 얻은지라 王(왕)이 그 머리에 ^ㅋ冕旒冠(면류관)을 씌우고 와스디를 代身(대신)하여 王后(왕후)를 삼은 後(후)에
    
18. 王(왕)이 크게 ^ㅌ잔치를 베푸니 이는 에스더를 爲(위)한 잔치라 모든 方伯(방백)과 臣僕(신복)을 響應(향응)하고 또 各(각) 道(도)의 稅金(세금)을 免除(면제)하고 ^ㅍ王(왕)의 豊富(풍부)함을 따라 크게 賞(상) 주니라
    
19. 處女(처녀)들을 ^ㅎ다시 모을 때에는 모르드개가 ^ㅏ大闕(대궐) 門(문)에 앉았더라
    
20. ^ㅑ에스더가 모르드개의 命(명)한대로 그 宗族(종족)과 民族(민족)을 告(고)하지 아니하니 저가 모르드개의 命(명)을 ^ㅓ養育(양육)받을 때와 같이 좇음이더라
    

16. Fué pues Esther llevada al rey Assuero á su casa real en el mes "décimo," que es el mes de "Tebeth," en el año séptimo de su reinado.
    
17. Y el rey amó á Esther sobre todas las "mujeres," y halló gracia y benevolencia delante de él más que todas las vírgenes; y puso la corona real en su "cabeza," é hízola reina en lugar de Vasthi.
    
18. Hizo luego el rey gran banquete á todos sus príncipes y "siervos," el banquete de Esther; y alivió á las "provincias," é hizo y dió mercedes conforme á la facultad real.
    
19. Y cuando se juntaban las vírgenes la segunda "vez," Mardochêo estaba puesto a la puerta el rey.
    
20. Y "Esther," según le tenía mandado "Mardochêo," no había declarado su nación ni su pueblo; porque Esther hacía lo que decía "Mardochêo," como cuando con él se educaba.
    

16. She was taken to King Xerxes in the royal residence in the tenth month, the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
    
17. Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other virgins. So he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.
    
18. And the king gave a great banquet, Esther's banquet, for all his nobles and officials. He proclaimed a holiday throughout the provinces and distributed gifts with royal liberality.
    
19. When the virgins were assembled a second time, Mordecai was sitting at the king's gate.
    
20. But Esther had kept secret her family background and nationality just as Mordecai had told her to do, for she continued to follow Mordecai's instructions as she had done when he was bringing her up.
    

21. 모르드개가 大闕(대궐) 門(문)에 앉았을 때에 門(문) 지킨 王(왕)의 內侍(내시) ^ㅕ빅단과 ^ㅗ데레스 두 사람이 아하수에로 王(왕)을 怨恨(원한)하여 謀殺(모살)하려 하거늘
    
22. 모르드개가 알고 ^ㅛ王后(왕후) 에스더에게 告(고)하니 에스더가 모르드개의 이름으로 王(왕)에게 告(고)한지라
    
23. 事實(사실)하여 實情(실정)을 얻었으므로 두 사람을 나무에 달고 그 일을 ^ㅜ王(왕)의 앞에서 宮中(궁중) 日記(일기)에 記錄(기록)하니라
    

21. En aquellos "días," estando Mardochêo sentado á la puerta del "rey," enojáronse Bigthán y "Teres," dos eunucos del "rey," de la guardia de la "puerta," y procuraban poner mano en el rey Assuero.
    
22. Mas entendido que fué esto por "Mardochêo," él lo denunció á la reina "Esther," y Esther lo dijo al rey en nombre de Mardochêo.
    
23. Hízose entonces indagación de la "cosa," y fué hallada cierta; por "tanto," entrambos fueron colgados en una horca. Y escribióse el caso en el libro de las cosas de los tiempos delante del rey.
    

21. During the time Mordecai was sitting at the king's gate, Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's officers who guarded the doorway, became angry and conspired to assassinate King Xerxes.
    
22. But Mordecai found out about the plot and told Queen Esther, who in turn reported it to the king, giving credit to Mordecai.
    
23. And when the report was investigated and found to be true, the two officials were hanged on a gallows. All this was recorded in the book of the annals in the presence of the king.
