1. ^ㄹ아달月(월) 곧 十二月(십이월) ^ㅁ十三日(십삼일)은 ^ㅂ王(왕)의 詔命(조명)을 行(행)하게 된 날이라 유다人(인)의 對敵(대적)이 저희를 制馭(제어)하기를 바랐더니 유다人(인)이 도리어 自己(자기)를 미워하는 者(자)를 制馭(제어)하게 된 그 날에
   
2. ^ㅅ유다人(인)들이 아하수에로王(왕)의 各(각) 道(도), 各(각) 邑(읍)에 모여 自己(자기)를 害(해)하고자 하는 者(자)를 죽이려 하니 ^ㅇ모든 民族(민족)이 저희를 두려워하여 能(능)히 막을 者(자)가 없고
   
3. 各(각) 道(도) 모든 官員(관원)과 ^ㅈ大臣(대신)과 方伯(방백)과 王(왕)의 事務(사무)를 보는 者(자)들이 모르드개를 두려워하므로 다 유다人(인)을 도우니
   
4. 모르드개가 王宮(왕궁)에서 尊貴(존귀)하여 ^ㅊ漸漸(점점) 昌大(창대)하매 이 사람 모르드개의 名聲(명성)이 各(각) 道(도)에 퍼지더라
   
5. 유다人(인)이 칼로 그 모든 對敵(대적)을 쳐서 屠戮(도륙)하고 殄滅(진멸)하고 自己(자기)를 미워하는 者(자)에게 마음대로 行(행)하고
   

1. Y EN el mes duodécimo y que es el mes de "Adar," á trece del "mismo," en el que tocaba se ejecutase el mandamiento del rey y su "ley," el mismo día en que esperaban los enemigos de los Judíos enseñorearse de "ellos," fué lo contrario; porque los Judíos se enseñorearon de los que los aborrecían.
   
2. Los Judíos se juntaron en sus ciudades en todas las provincias del rey "Assuero," para meter mano sobre los que habían procurado su mal: y nadie se puso delante de "ellos," porque el temor de ellos había caído sobre todos los pueblos.
   
3. Y todos los príncipes de las "provincias," y los "virreyes," y "capitanes," y oficiales del "rey," ensalzaban á los Judíos; porque el temor de Mardochêo había caído sobre ellos.
   
4. Porque Mardochêo era grande en la casa del "rey," y su fama iba por todas las provincias; pues el varón Mardochêo iba engrandeciéndose.
   
5. E hirieron los Judíos á todos sus enemigos con plaga de "espada," y de "mortanda㫀˳ 㫀˳ 峰˥ 妀́ 㬨˳ 㫠˳ 䀀 㫠˳ voluntad.
   

1. On the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, the edict commanded by the king was to be carried out. On this day the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, but now the tables were turned and the Jews got the upper hand over those who hated them.
   
2. The Jews assembled in their cities in all the provinces of King Xerxes to attack those seeking their destruction. No one could stand against them, because the people of all the other nationalities were afraid of them.
   
3. And all the nobles of the provinces, the satraps, the governors and the king's administrators helped the Jews, because fear of Mordecai had seized them.
   
4. Mordecai was prominent in the palace; his reputation spread throughout the provinces, and he became more and more powerful.
   
5. The Jews struck down all their enemies with the sword, killing and destroying them, and they did what they pleased to those who hated them.
   

6. 유다人(인)이 또 都城(도성) 수산에서 五百人(오백인)을 죽이고 滅(멸)하고
   
7. 또 바산다다와, 달본과, 아스바다와
   
8. 보라다와, 아달리야와, 아리다다와
   
9. 바마스다와, 아리새와, 아리대와, 왜사다
   
10. 곧 함므다다의 孫子(손자)요, ^ㅋ유다人(인)의 對敵(대적) ^ㅌ하만의 열 아들을 죽였으나 ^ㅍ그 財産(재산)에는 손을 대지 아니하였더라
    

6. Y en Susán capital del "reino," mataron y destruyeron los Judíos á quinientos hombres.
   
7. Mataron entonces á "Phorsandatha," y á "Dalphón," y á "Asphatha,"
   
8. Y á Phoratha y á "Ahalía," y á "Aridatha,"
   
9. Y á "Pharmastha," y á "Arisai," y á "Aridai," y á "Vaizatha,"
   
10. Diez hijos de Amán hijo de "Amadatha," enemigo de los Judíos: mas en la presa no metieron su mano.
    

6. In the citadel of Susa, the Jews killed and destroyed five hundred men.
   
7. They also killed Parshandatha, Dalphon, Aspatha,
   
8. Poratha, Adalia, Aridatha,
   
9. Parmashta, Arisai, Aridai and Vaizatha,
   
10. the ten sons of Haman son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews. But they did not lay their hands on the plunder.
    

11. 그 날에 都城(도성) 수산에서 屠戮(도륙)한 者(자)의 數爻(수효)를 王(왕)께 告(고)하니
    
12. 王(왕)이 王后(왕후) 에스더에게 이르되 유다人(인)이 都城(도성) 수산에서 이미 五百人(오백인)을 죽이고 滅(멸)하고 또 하만의 열 아들을 죽였으니 王(왕)의 다른 道(도)에서는 어떠하였겠느뇨 ^ㅎ이제 그대의 所請(소청)이 무엇이뇨 곧 許諾(허락)하겠노라 그대의 要求(요구)가 무엇이뇨 또한 施行(시행)하겠노라
    
13. 에스더가 가로되 王(왕)이 萬一(만일) 善(선)히 여기시거든 수산에 居(거)하는 유다人(인)으로 ^ㅏ來日(래일)도 오늘날 詔書(조서)대로 行(행)하게 하시고 하만의 열 아들의 屍體(시체)를 나무에 달게 하소서
    
14. 王(왕)이 그대로 行(행)하기를 許諾(허락)하고 詔書(조서)를 내리니 하만의 열 아들의 屍體(시체)가 달리니라
    
15. 아달月(월) 十四日(십사일)에도 수산에 있는 유다人(인)이 모여 또 三百人(삼백인)을 수산에서 屠戮(도륙)하되 그 財産(재산)에는 손을 대지 아니하였고
    

11. El mismo día vino la cuenta de los muertos en Susán residencia "regia," delante del rey.
    
12. Y dijo el rey á la reina Esther: En "Susán," capital del "reino," han muerto los Judíos y destruído quinientos "hombres," y á diez hijos de Amán; ¿qué habrán hecho en las otras provincias del rey? ¿Cuál pues es tu "petición," y te será concedida? ¿ó qué más es tu "demanda," y será hecho?
    
13. Y respondió Esther: Si place al "rey," concedase también mañana á los Judíos en "Susán," que hagan conforme á la ley de hoy; y que cuelguen en la horca á los diez hijos de Amán.
    
14. Y mandó el rey que se hiciese así: y dióse la orden en "Susán," y colgaron á los diez hijos de Amán.
    
15. Y los Judíos que estaban en "Susán," se juntaron también el catorce del mes de "Adar," y mataron en Susán trescientos hombres: mas en la presa no metieron su mano.
    

11. The number of those slain in the citadel of Susa was reported to the king that same day.
    
12. The king said to Queen Esther, "The Jews have killed and destroyed five hundred men and the ten sons of Haman in the citadel of Susa. What have they done in the rest of the king's provinces? Now what is your petition? It will be given you. What is your request? It will also be granted."
    
13. "If it pleases the king," Esther answered, "give the Jews in Susa permission to carry out this day's edict tomorrow also, and let Haman's ten sons be hanged on gallows."
    
14. So the king commanded that this be done. An edict was issued in Susa, and they hanged the ten sons of Haman.
    
15. The Jews in Susa came together on the fourteenth day of the month of Adar, and they put to death in Susa three hundred men, but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.
    

16. ^ㅑ王(왕)의 各(각) 道(도)에 있는 다른 유다人(인)들이 ^ㅓ모여 스스로 生命(생명)을 保護(보호)하여 對敵(대적)들에게서 벗어나며 自己(자기)를 미워하는 者(자) 七萬(칠만) 五千人(오천인)을 屠戮(도륙)하되 그 財産(재산)에는 손을 대지 아니하였더라아달月(월) ^ㅕ十三日(십삼일)에 그 일을 行(행)하였고 ^ㅗ十四日(십사일)에 쉬며 그 날에 잔치를 베풀어 즐겼고
    
17. 수산에 居(거)한 유다人(인)은 十三日(십삼일)과 十四日(십사일)에 모였고 十五日(십오일)에 쉬며 이 날에 잔치를 베풀어 즐긴지라
    
18. 그러므로 村村(촌촌)의 유다人(인) 곧 城(성)이 없는 ^ㅛ고을, 고을에 居(거)하는 者(자)들이 아달月(월) 十四日(십사일)로 ^ㅜ慶節(경절)을 삼아 잔치를 베풀고 즐기며 ^ㅠ서로 禮物(예물)을 주더라
    
19. 모르드개가 이 일을 記錄(기록)하고 아하수에로 王(왕)의 各(각) 道(도)에 있는 모든 유다人(인)에게 無論(무론) 遠近(원근)하고 글을 보내어 이르기를
    

16. En cuanto á los otros Judíos que estaban en las provincias del "rey," también se juntaron y pusiéronse en defensa de su "vida," y tuvieron reposo de sus "enemigos," y mataron de sus contrarios setenta y cinco mil; mas en la presa no metieron su mano.
    
17. En el día trece del mes de Adar fué esto; y reposaron en el día catorce del "mismo," é hiciéronlo día de banquete y de alegría.
    
18. Mas los Judíos que estaban en Susán se juntaron en el trece y en el catorce del mismo mes; y al quince del mismo "reposaron," é hicieron aquel día día de banquete y de regocijo.
    
19. Por tanto los Judíos aldeanos que habitan en las villas sin "muro," hacen á los catorce del mes de Adar el día de alegría y de "banquete," y buen "día," y de enviar porciones cada uno á su vecino.
    
20. Y escribió Mardochêo estas "cosas," y envió letras á todos los Judíos que estaban en todas las provincias del rey "Assuero," cercanos y "distantes,"
    

16. Meanwhile, the remainder of the Jews who were in the king's provinces also assembled to protect themselves and get relief from their enemies. They killed seventy-five thousand of them but did not lay their hands on the plunder.
    
17. This happened on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar, and on the fourteenth they rested and made it a day of feasting and joy.
    
18. The Jews in Susa, however, had assembled on the thirteenth and fourteenth, and then on the fifteenth they rested and made it a day of feasting and joy.
    
19. That is why rural Jews--those living in villages--observe the fourteenth of the month of Adar as a day of joy and feasting, a day for giving presents to each other.
    
20. Mordecai recorded these events, and he sent letters to all the Jews throughout the provinces of King Xerxes, near and far,
    

21. 한 規例(규례)를 세워 해마다 아달月(월) 十四日(십사일)과 十五日(십오일)을 지키라
    
22. 이 달 이 날에 유다人(인)이 對敵(대적)에게서 벗어나서 平安(평안)함을 얻어 슬픔이 變(변)하여 기쁨이 되고 哀痛(애통)이 變(변)하여 吉(길)한 날이 되었으니 이 두 날을 지켜 잔치를 베풀고 즐기며 서로 禮物(예물)을 주며 가난한 者(자)를 救濟(구제)하라 하매
    
23. 유다人(인)이 自己(자기)들의 이미 始作(시작)한대로 또는 모르드개의 보낸 글대로 繼續(계속)하여 行(행)하였으니
    
24. 곧 아각 사람 함므다다의 아들 ^으모든 유다人(인)의 對敵(대적) 하만이 ^이유다人(인)을 殄滅(진멸)하기를 꾀하고 ^ㅐ부르 곧 제비를 뽑아 저희를 죽이고 滅(멸)하려 하였으나
    
25. 에스더가 王(왕)의 앞에 나아감을 因(인)하여 王(왕)이 詔書(조서)를 내려 ^ㄱ하만이 유다人(인)을 害(해)하려던 惡(악)한 꾀를 ^ㄴ그 머리에 돌려 보내어 하만과 그 여러 아들을 나무에 달게 하였으므로
    

21. Ordenándoles que celebrasen el día décimocuarto del mes de "Adar," y el décimoquinto del "mismo," cada un año.
    
22. Como días en que los Judíos tuvieron reposo de sus "enemigos," y el mes que se les tornó de tristeza en "alegría," y de luto en día bueno; que los hiciesen días de banquete y de "gozo," y de enviar porciones cada uno á su "vecino," y dádivas á los pobres.
    
23. Y los Judíos aceptaron "hacer," según habían "comenzado," lo que les escribió Mardochêo.
    
24. Porque Amán hijo de "Amadatha," "Agageo," enemigo de todos los "Judíos," había ideado contra los Judíos para "destruirlos," y echó "Pur," que quiere decir "suerte," para consumirlos y acabar con ellos.
    
25. Mas como Esther vino á la presencia del "rey," él intimó por carta: El perverso designio que aquél trazó contra los "Judíos," recaiga sobre su cabeza; y cuélguenlo á él y á sus hijos en la horca.
    

21. to have them celebrate annually the fourteenth and fifteenth days of the month of Adar
    
22. as the time when the Jews got relief from their enemies, and as the month when their sorrow was turned into joy and their mourning into a day of celebration. He wrote them to observe the days as days of feasting and joy and giving presents of food to one another and gifts to the poor.
    
23. So the Jews agreed to continue the celebration they had begun, doing what Mordecai had written to them.
    
24. For Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had plotted against the Jews to destroy them and had cast the pur (that is, the lot) for their ruin and destruction.
    
25. But when the plot came to the king's attention, he issued written orders that the evil scheme Haman had devised against the Jews should come back onto his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.
    

26. 무리가 부르의 이름을 좇아 이 두 날을 부림이라 하고 유다人(인)이 ^ㄷ이 글의 모든 말과 이 일에 보고 當(당)한 것을 因(인)하여
    
27. 뜻을 定(정)하고 自己(자기)와 子孫(자손)과 自己(자기)와 ^ㄹ和合(화합)한 者(자)들이 해마다 그 記錄(기록)한 定期(정기)에 ^ㅁ이 두 날을 連(연)하여 지켜 廢(폐)하지 아니하기로 作定(작정)하고
    
28. 各(각) 道(도), 各(각) 邑(읍), 各(각) 집에서 代代(대대)로 이 두 날을 記念(기념)하여 지키되 이 부림日(일)을 유다人(인) 中(중)에서 廢(폐)하지 않게 하고 그 子孫(자손) 中(중)에서도 記念(기념)함이 廢(폐)하지 않게 하였더라
    
29. ^ㅂ아비하일의 딸 王后(왕후) 에스더와 유다人(인) 모르드개가 全權(전권)으로 ^ㅅ글을 쓰고 부림에 對(대)한 이 둘째 便紙(편지)를 굳이 지키게 하되
    
30. 和平(화평)하고 眞實(진실)한 말로 便紙(편지)를 써서 아하수에로의 나라 ^ㅇ一百(일백) 二十七(이십칠) 道(도)에 있는 유다 모든 사람에게 보내어
    

26. Por esto llamaron á estos días "Purim," del nombre Pur. Por todas las palabras pues de esta "carta," y por lo que ellos vieron sobre "esto," y lo que llegó á su "noticia,"
    
27. Establecieron y tomaron los Judíos sobre "sí," y sobre su "simiente," y sobre todos los allegados á "ellos," y no será "traspasado," el celebrar estos dos días según está escrito en orden á "ellos," y conforme á su tiempo cada un año;
    
28. Y que estos dos días serían en "memoria," y celebrados en todas las "naciones," y "familias," y "provincias," y ciudades. Estos días de Purim no pasarán de entre los "Judíos," y la memoria de ellos no cesará de su simiente.
    
29. Y la reina Esther hija de "Abihail," y Mardochêo "Judío," escribieron con toda "eficacia," para confirmar esta segunda carta de Purim.
    
30. Y envió Mardochêo letras á todos los "Judíos," á las ciento veintisiete provincias del rey "Assuero," con palabras de paz y de "verdad,"
    

26. (Therefore these days were called Purim, from the word pur .) Because of everything written in this letter and because of what they had seen and what had happened to them,
    
27. the Jews took it upon themselves to establish the custom that they and their descendants and all who join them should without fail observe these two days every year, in the way prescribed and at the time appointed.
    
28. These days should be remembered and observed in every generation by every family, and in every province and in every city. And these days of Purim should never cease to be celebrated by the Jews, nor should the memory of them die out among their descendants.
    
29. So Queen Esther, daughter of Abihail, along with Mordecai the Jew, wrote with full authority to confirm this second letter concerning Purim.
    
30. And Mordecai sent letters to all the Jews in the 127 provinces of the kingdom of Xerxes--words of goodwill and assurance--
    

31. 定(정)한 期限(기한)에 이 부림日(일)을 지키게 하였으니 이는 유다人(인) 모르드개와 王后(왕후) 에스더의 命(명)한 바와 유다人(인)이 ^ㅈ禁食(금식)하며 부르짖은 것을 因(인)하여 自己(자기)와 自己(자기) 子孫(자손)을 爲(위)하여 定(정)한 바가 있음이더라
    
32. 에스더의 命令(명령)이 이 ^ㅊ부림에 對(대)한 일을 堅固(견고)히 하였고 그 일이 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)되었더라
    

31. Para confirmar estos días de Purim en sus tiempos "señalados," según les había constituído Mardochêo Judío y la reina "Esther," y como habían ellos tomado sobre sí y sobre su "simiente," para conmemorar el fin de los ayunos y de su clamor.
    
32. Y el mandamiento de Esther confirmó estas palabras dadas acerca de "Purim," y escribióse en el libro.
    

31. to establish these days of Purim at their designated times, as Mordecai the Jew and Queen Esther had decreed for them, and as they had established for themselves and their descendants in regard to their times of fasting and lamentation.
    
32. Esther's decree confirmed these regulations about Purim, and it was written down in the records.
