에스더(Ester) 3장 [개역한글 : RV1909 : NIV]

1. 그 後(후)에 아하수에로王(왕)이 ^ㅠ아각 사람 함므다다의 아들 하만의 地位(지위)를 ^으높이 올려 ^이모든 함께 있는 大臣(대신) 위에 두니
   
2. 大闕(대궐) 門(문)에 있는 王(왕)의 모든 臣僕(신복)이 다 王(왕)의 命(명)대로 하만에게 꿇어 절하되 ^ㅐ모르드개는 꿇지도 아니하고 절하지도 아니하니
   
3. ^ㄱ大闕(대궐) 門(문)에 있는 王(왕)의 臣僕(신복)이 모르드개에게 이르되 너는 어찌하여 ^ㄴ王(왕)의 命令(명령)을 拒逆(거역)하느냐 하고
   
4. 날마다 勸(권)하되 모르드개가 듣지 아니하고 自己(자기)는 유다人(인)임을 告(고)하였더니 저희가 모르드개의 일이 어찌되나 보고자 하여 하만에게 告(고)하였더라
   
5. 하만이 모르드개가 꿇지도 아니하고 절하지도 아니함을 보고 ^ㄷ甚(심)히 怒(노)하더니
   

1. DESPUÉS de estas "cosas," el rey Assuero engrandeció á Amán hijo de Amadatha "Agageo," y "ensalzólo," y puso su silla sobre todos los príncipes que estaban con él.
   
2. Y todos los siervos del rey que estaban á la puerta del "rey," se arrodillaban é inclinaban á "Amán," porque así se lo había mandado el rey; pero "Mardochêo," ni se orrodillaba ni se humillaba.
   
3. Y los siervos del rey que estaban á la "puerta," dijeron á Mardochêo: ¿Por qué traspasas el mandamiento del rey?
   
4. Y aconteció "que," hablándole cada día de esta "manera," y no escuchándolos "él," denunciáronlo á "Amán," por ver si las palabras de Mardochêo se mantendrían; porque ya él les había declarado que era Judío.
   
5. Y vió Amán que Mardochêo ni se arrodillaba ni se humillaba delante de él; y llenóse de ira.
   

1. After these events, King Xerxes honored Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, elevating him and giving him a seat of honor higher than that of all the other nobles.
   
2. All the royal officials at the king's gate knelt down and paid honor to Haman, for the king had commanded this concerning him. But Mordecai would not kneel down or pay him honor.
   
3. Then the royal officials at the king's gate asked Mordecai, "Why do you disobey the king's command?"
   
4. Day after day they spoke to him but he refused to comply. Therefore they told Haman about it to see whether Mordecai's behavior would be tolerated, for he had told them he was a Jew.
   
5. When Haman saw that Mordecai would not kneel down or pay him honor, he was enraged.
   

6. 저희가 모르드개의 民族(민족)을 하만에게 告(고)한 故(고)로 하만이 모르드개만 죽이는 것이 輕(경)하다 하고 아하수에로의 온 나라에 있는 유다人(인) 곧 모르드개의 民族(민족)을 다 滅(멸)하고자 하더라
   
7. 아하수에로 王(왕) 十二年(십이년) 正月(정월) 곧 니산月(월)에 무리가 하만 앞에서 날과 달에 對(대)하여 ^ㄹ부르 곧 제비를 뽑아 十二月(십이월) 곧 ^ㅁ아달月(월)을 얻은지라
   
8. 하만이 아하수에로 王(왕)에게 아뢰되 한 民族(민족)이 王(왕)의 나라 各(각) 道(도) 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 흩어져 居(거)하는데 ^ㅂ그 法律(법률)이 萬民(만민)보다 달라서 王(왕)의 法律(법률)을 지키지 아니하오니 容納(용납)하는 것이 王(왕)에게 無益(무익)하나이다
   
9. 王(왕)이 옳게 여기시거든 詔書(조서)를 내려 저희를 殄滅(진멸)하소서 내가 銀(은) 一萬(일만) 달란트를 王(왕)의 일을 맡은 者(자)의 손에 붙여 王(왕)의 府庫(부고)에 드리리이다
   
10. ^ㅅ王(왕)이 斑指(반지)를 손에서 빼어 ^ㅇ유다人(인)의 對敵(대적) 곧 ^ㅈ아각 사람 함므다다의 아들 하만에게 주며
    

6. Mas tuvo en poco meter mano en solo Mardochêo; que ya le había declarado el pueblo de Mardochêo: y procuró Amán destruir á todos los Judíos que había en el reino de "Assuero," al pueblo de Mardochêo.
   
7. En el mes "primero," que es el mes de "Nisán," en el año duodécimo del rey "Assuero," fué echada "Pur," esto "es," la "suerte," delante de "Amán," de día en día y de mes en mes; y salió el mes "duodécimo," que es el mes de Adar.
   
8. Y dijo Amán al rey Assuero: Hay un pueblo esparcido y dividido entre los pueblos en todas las provincias de tu "reino," y sus leyes son diferentes de las de todo "pueblo," y no observan las leyes del rey; y al rey no viene provecho de dejarlos.
   
9. Si place al "rey," escríbase que sean destruídos; y yo pesaré diez mil talentos de plata en manos de los que manejan la "hacienda," para que sean traídos á los tesoros del rey.
   
10. Entonces el rey quitó su anillo de su "mano," y diólo á Amán hijo de Amadatha "Agageo," enemigo de los "Judíos,"
    

6. Yet having learned who Mordecai's people were, he scorned the idea of killing only Mordecai. Instead Haman looked for a way to destroy all Mordecai's people, the Jews, throughout the whole kingdom of Xerxes.
   
7. In the twelfth year of King Xerxes, in the first month, the month of Nisan, they cast the pur (that is, the lot) in the presence of Haman to select a day and month. And the lot fell on the twelfth month, the month of Adar.
   
8. Then Haman said to King Xerxes, "There is a certain people dispersed and scattered among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom whose customs are different from those of all other people and who do not obey the king's laws; it is not in the king's best interest to tolerate them.
   
9. If it pleases the king, let a decree be issued to destroy them, and I will put ten thousand talents of silver into the royal treasury for the men who carry out this business."
   
10. So the king took his signet ring from his finger and gave it to Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews.
    

11. 이르되 그 銀(은)을 네게 주고 그 百姓(백성)도 그리하노니 너는 所見(소견)에 좋을대로 行(행)하라 하더라
    
12. ^ㅊ正月(정월) 十三日(십삼일)에 王(왕)의 書記官(서기관)이 召集(소집)되어 하만의 命(명)을 따라 ^ㅋ王(왕)의 大臣(대신)과 各(각) 道(도) 方伯(방백)과 各(각) 民族(민족)의 官員(관원)에게 ^ㅌ아하수에로 王(왕)의 이름으로 詔書(조서)를 쓰되 곧 ^ㅍ各(각) 道(도)의 文字(문자)와 各(각) 民族(민족)의 方言(방언)대로 쓰고 ^ㅎ王(왕)의 斑指(반지)로 印(인)치니라
    
13. 이에 그 詔書(조서)를 ^ㅏ驛卒(역졸)에게 부쳐 王(왕)의 各(각) 道(도)에 보내니 十二月(십이월) 곧 아달月(월) 十三日(십삼일) ^ㅑ하루 동안에 모든 유다人(인)을 老少(로소)나 어린 아이나 婦女(부녀)를 無論(무론)하고 ^ㅓ죽이고 屠戮(도륙)하고 殄滅(진멸)하고 또 ^ㅕ그 財産(재산)을 奪取(탈취)하라 하였고
    
14. ^ㅗ이 命令(명령)을 各(각) 道(도)에 傳(전)하기 爲(위)하여 詔書(조서)의 抄本(초본)을 모든 民族(민족)에게 宣布(선포)하여 그 날을 爲(위)하여 準備(준비)하게 하라 하였더라
    
15. 驛卒(역졸)이 王(왕)의 命(명)을 받들어 急(급)히 나가매 그 詔書(조서)가 都城(도성) 수산에도 頒布(반포)되니 王(왕)은 하만과 함께 앉아 마시되 ^ㅛ수산城(성)은 어지럽더라
    

11. Y díjole: La plata propuesta sea para "ti," y asimismo el "pueblo," para que hagas de él lo que bien te pareciere.
    
12. Entonces fueron llamados los escribanos del rey en el mes "primero," á trece del "mismo," y fué escrito conforme á todo lo que mandó "Amán," á los príncipes del "rey," y á los capitanes que estaban sobre cada "provincia," y á los príncipes de cada "pueblo," á cada provincia según su "escritura," y á cada pueblo según su lengua: en nombre del rey Assuero fué "escrito," y signado con el anillo del rey.
    
13. Y fueron enviadas letras por mano de los correos á todas las provincias del "rey," para "destruir," y "matar," y exterminar á todos los "Judíos," desde el niño hasta el "viejo," niños y mujeres en un "día," en el trece del mes "duodécimo," que es el mes de "Adar," y para apoderarse de su despojo.
    
14. La copia del escrito que se diese por mandamiento en cada "provincia," fué publicada á todos los "pueblos," á fin de que estuviesen apercibidos para aquel día.
    
15. Y salieron los correos de priesa por mandato del "rey," y el edicto fué dado en Susán capital del reino. Y el rey y Amán estaban sentados á "beber," y la ciudad de Susán estaba conmovida.
    

11. "Keep the money," the king said to Haman, "and do with the people as you please."
    
12. Then on the thirteenth day of the first month the royal secretaries were summoned. They wrote out in the script of each province and in the language of each people all Haman's orders to the king's satraps, the governors of the various provinces and the nobles of the various peoples. These were written in the name of King Xerxes himself and sealed with his own ring.
    
13. Dispatches were sent by couriers to all the king's provinces with the order to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews--young and old, women and little children--on a single day, the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, and to plunder their goods.
    
14. A copy of the text of the edict was to be issued as law in every province and made known to the people of every nationality so they would be ready for that day.
    
15. Spurred on by the king's command, the couriers went out, and the edict was issued in the citadel of Susa. The king and Haman sat down to drink, but the city of Susa was bewildered.
