1. 느부갓네살 王(왕)이 金(금)으로 神像(신상)을 만들었으니 高(고)는 六十(육십) 규빗이요 廣(광)은 여섯 규빗이라 그것을 ^ㅐ바벨론 道(도)의 ^ㄱ두라 平地(평지)에 세웠더라
   
2. 느부갓네살 王(왕)이 보내어 ^ㄴ方伯(방백)과 ^ㄷ首領(수령)과 道伯(도백)과 裁判官(재판관)과 財務官(재무관)과 謀士(모사)와 法律士(법률사)와 各(각) 道(도) 모든 官員(관원)을 自己(자기) 느부갓네살 王(왕)의 세운 神像(신상)의 落成(낙성) 禮式(례식)에 參集(참집)하게 하매
   
3. 이에 方伯(방백)과 首領(수령)과 道伯(도백)과 裁判官(재판관)과 財務官(재무관)과 謀士(모사)와 法律士(법률사)와 各(각) 道(도) 모든 官員(관원)이 느부갓네살 王(왕)의 세운 神像(신상)의 落成(낙성) 禮式(례식)에 參集(참집)하여 느부갓네살의 세운 神像(신상) 앞에 서니라
   
4. 頒布(반포)하는 者(자)가 크게 ^ㄹ외쳐 가로되 ^ㅁ百姓(백성)들과 나라들과 各(각) 方言(방언)하는 者(자)들아 王(왕)이 너희 무리에게 命(명)하시나니
   
5. 너희는 ^ㅂ나팔과 피리와 竪琴(수금)과 三絃琴(삼현금)과 洋琴(양금)과 笙簧(생황)과 및 모든 樂器(악기) 소리를 들을 때에 ^ㅅ엎드리어 느부갓네살 王(왕)의 세운 金神像(금신상)에게 절하라
   

1. EL rey Nabucodonosor hizo una estatua de "oro," la altura de la cual era de sesenta "codos," su anchura de seis codos: levantóla en el campo de "Dura," en la provincia de Babilonia.
   
2. Y envió el rey Nabucodonosor á juntar los "grandes," los asistentes y "capitanes," "oidores," "receptores," los del "consejo," "presidentes," y á todos los gobernadores de las "provincias," para que viniesen á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.
   
3. Fueron pues reunidos los "grandes," los asistentes y "capitanes," los "oidores," "receptores," los del "consejo," los "presidentes," y todos los gobernadores de las "provincias," á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado: y estaban en pie delante de la estatua que había levantado el rey Nabucodonosor.
   
4. Y el pregonero pregonaba en alta voz: Mándase á "vosotros," oh "pueblos," "naciones," y "lenguas,"
   
5. En oyendo el son de la "bocina," del "pífano," del "tamboril," del "arpa," del "salterio," de la "zampoña," y de todo instrumento "músico," os postraréis y adoraréis la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor ha levantado:
   

1. King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, ninety feet high and nine feet wide, and set it up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon.
   
2. He then summoned the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates and all the other provincial officials to come to the dedication of the image he had set up.
   
3. So the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates and all the other provincial officials assembled for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up, and they stood before it.
   
4. Then the herald loudly proclaimed, "This is what you are commanded to do, O peoples, nations and men of every language:
   
5. As soon as you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes and all kinds of music, you must fall down and worship the image of gold that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up.
   

6. 누구든지 엎드리어 절하지 아니하는 者(자)는 卽時(즉시) 極烈(극렬)히 ^ㅇ타는 풀무에 던져 넣으리라 하매
   
7. 모든 百姓(백성)과 나라들과 各(각) 方言(방언)하는 者(자)들이 나팔과, 피리와, 竪琴(수금)과, 三絃琴(삼현금)과, 洋琴(양금)과, 및 모든 樂器(악기) 소리를 듣자 곧 느부갓네살 王(왕)의 세운 金神像(금신상)에게 엎드리어 절하니라
   
8. 그 때에 어떤 ^ㅈ갈대아 사람들이 ^ㅊ나아와 유다 사람들을 讒訴(참소)하니라
   
9. 그들이 느부갓네살 王(왕)에게 告(고)하여 가로되 ^ㅋ王(왕)이여 萬歲壽(만세수)를 하옵소서
   
10. 王(왕)이여 王(왕)이 ^ㅌ命令(명령)을 내리사 무릇 사람마다 ^ㅍ나팔과, 피리와, 竪琴(수금)과, 三絃琴(삼현금)과, 洋琴(양금)과, 笙簧(생황)과, 및 모든 樂器(악기) 소리를 듣거든 엎드리어 金(금) 神像(신상)에게 절할 것이라
    

6. Y cualquiera que no se postrare y "adorare," en la misma hora será echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.
   
7. Por lo "cual," en oyendo todos los pueblos el son de la "bocina," del "pífano," del "tamboril," del "arpa," del "salterio," de la "zampoña," y de todo instrumento "músico," todos los "pueblos," "naciones," y "lenguas," se "postraron," y adoraron la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.
   
8. Por esto en el mismo tiempo algunos varones Caldeos se "llegaron," y denunciaron de los Judíos.
   
9. Hablando y diciendo al rey Nabucodonosor: "Rey," para siempre vive.
   
10. Tú, oh "rey," pusiste ley que todo hombre en oyendo el son de la "bocina," del "pífano," del "tamboril," del "arpa," del "salterio," de la "zampoña," y de todo instrumento "músico," se postrase y adorase la estatua de oro:
    

6. Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace."
   
7. Therefore, as soon as they heard the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp and all kinds of music, all the peoples, nations and men of every language fell down and worshiped the image of gold that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
   
8. At this time some astrologers came forward and denounced the Jews.
   
9. They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, "O king, live forever!
   
10. You have issued a decree, O king, that everyone who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes and all kinds of music must fall down and worship the image of gold,
    

11. 누구든지 엎드리어 절하지 아니하는 者(자)는 極烈(극렬)히 타는 풀무 가운데 던져 넣음을 當(당)하리라 하지 아니하셨나이까
    
12. 이제 몇 유다 사람 ^ㅎ사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고는 王(왕)이 ^ㅏ세워 바벨론 道(도)를 다스리게 하신 者(자)이어늘 王(왕)이여 이 사람들이 ^ㅑ王(왕)을 높이지 아니하며 王(왕)의 神(신)들을 섬기지 아니하며 王(왕)이 세우신 金(금) 神像(신상)에게 절하지 아니하나이다
    
13. 느부갓네살 王(왕)이 ^ㅓ怒(노)하고 憤(분)하여 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 끌어 오라 命(명)하매 드디어 그 사람들을 王(왕)의 앞으로 끌어온지라
    
14. 느부갓네살이 그들에게 물어 가로되 사드락, 메삭, 아벳느고야 너희가 내 神(신)을 섬기지 아니하며 내가 세운 그 神像(신상)에게 절하지 아니하니 짐짓 그리하였느냐
    
15. 이제라도 너희가 豫備(예비)하였다가 언제든지 ^ㅕ나팔과, 피리와, 竪琴(수금)과, 三絃琴(삼현금)과, 洋琴(양금)과, 笙簧(생황)과, 및 모든 樂器(악기) 소리를 듣거든 내가 만든 神像(신상) 앞에 엎드리어 절하면 좋거니와 너희가 萬一(만일) 절하지 아니하면 卽時(즉시) 너희를 極烈(극렬)히 타는 풀무 가운데 던져 넣을 것이니 ^ㅗ能(능)히 너희를 내 손에서 건져 낼 神(신)이 어떤 神(신)이겠느냐
    

11. Y el que no se postrase y "adorase," fuese echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.
    
12. Hay unos varones "Judíos," los cuales pusiste tú sobre los negocios de la provincia de Babilonia; "Sadrach," "Mesach," y Abed-nego: estos "varones," oh "rey," no han hecho cuenta de ti; no adoran tus "dioses," no adoran la estatua de oro que tú levantaste.
    
13. Entonces Nabucodonosor dijo con ira y con enojo que trajesen á "Sadrach," "Mesach," y Abed-nego. Al punto fueron traídos estos varones delante del rey.
    
14. Habló "Nabucodonosor," y díjoles: ¿Es verdad "Sadrach," "Mesach," y "Abed-nego," que vosotros no honráis á mi "dios," ni adoráis la estatua de oro que he levantado?
    
15. Ahora "pues," ¿estáis prestos para que en oyendo el son de la "bocina," del "pífano," del "tamboril," del "arpa," del "salterio," de la "zampoña," y de todo instrumento "músico," os "postréis," y adoréis la estatua que he hecho? Porque si no la "adorareis," en la misma hora seréis echados en medio de un horno de fuego ardiendo: ¿y qué dios será aquel que os libre de mis manos?
    

11. and that whoever does not fall down and worship will be thrown into a blazing furnace.
    
12. But there are some Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon--Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego--who pay no attention to you, O king. They neither serve your gods nor worship the image of gold you have set up."
    
13. Furious with rage, Nebuchadnezzar summoned Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So these men were brought before the king,
    
14. and Nebuchadnezzar said to them, "Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up?
    
15. Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?"
    

16. 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고가 王(왕)에게 對答(대답)하여 가로되 느부갓네살이여 우리가 이 일에 對(대)하여 王(왕)에게 對答(대답)할 必要(필요)가 없나이다
    
17. 萬一(만일) 그럴 것이면 王(왕)이여 ^ㅛ우리가 섬기는 우리 하나님이 우리를 極烈(극렬)히 타는 풀무 가운데서 能(능)히 건져 내시겠고 王(왕)의 손에서도 건져내시리이다
    
18. 그리 아니하실지라도 王(왕)이여 우리가 王(왕)의 神(신)들을 섬기지도 아니하고 王(왕)의 세우신 金神像(금신상)에게 절하지도 아니할 줄을 아옵소서
    
19. 느부갓네살이 ^ㅜ憤(분)이 가득하여 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 向(향)하여 ^ㅠ낯빛을 變(변)하고 命(명)하여 이르되 그 풀무를 뜨겁게 하기를 平日(평일)보다 七倍(칠배)나 뜨겁게 하라 하고
    
20. 軍隊(군대) 中(중) 勇士(용사) 몇 사람을 命(명)하여 ^으사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 結縛(결박)하여 極烈(극렬)히 타는 풀무 가운데 던지라 하니
    

16. Sadrach, "Mesach," y Abed-nego respondieron y dijeron al rey Nabucodonosor: no cuidamos de responderte sobre este negocio.
    
17. He aquí nuestro Dios á quien "honramos," puede librarnos del horno de fuego ardiendo; y de tu "mano," oh "rey," nos librará.
    
18. Y si "no," "sepas," oh "rey," que tu dios no "adoraremos," ni tampoco honraremos la estatua que has levantado.
    
19. Entonces Nabucodonosor fué lleno de "ira," y demudóse la figura de su rostro sobre "Sadrach," "Mesach," y Abed-nego: así "habló," y ordenó que el horno se encendiese siete veces tanto de lo que cada vez solía.
    
20. Y mandó á hombres muy vigorosos que tenía en su "ejército," que atasen á "Sadrach," "Mesach," y "Abed-nego," para echarlos en el horno de fuego ardiendo.
    

16. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter.
    
17. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king.
    
18. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
    
19. Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual
    
20. and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace.
    

21. 이 사람들을 袴衣(고의)와 속옷과 겉옷과 별다른 옷을 입은 채 結縛(결박)하여 極烈(극렬)히 타는 풀무 가운데 던질 때에
    
22. 王(왕)의 命令(명령)이 ^이嚴(엄)하고 풀무가 甚(심)히 뜨거우므로 불꽃이 ^ㅐ사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 붙든 사람을 태워 죽였고
    
23. 이 세 사람 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고는 結縛(결박)된 채 極烈(극렬)히 타는 풀무 가운데 떨어졌더라
    
24. 때에 느부갓네살 王(왕)이 ^ㄱ놀라 ^ㄴ急(급)히 일어나서 ^ㄷ謀士(모사)들에게 물어 가로되 우리가 結縛(결박)하여 불가운데 던진 者(자)는 ^ㄹ세 사람이 아니었느냐 그들이 王(왕)에게 對答(대답)하여 가로되 王(왕)이여 옳소이다
    
25. 王(왕)이 또 말하여 가로되 내가 보니 結縛(결박)되지 아니한 네 사람이 ^ㅁ불 가운데로 다니는데 ^ㅂ傷(상)하지도 아니하였고 그 네째의 模樣(모양)은 ^ㅅ神(신)들의 아들과 같도다 하고
    

21. Entonces estos varones fueron atados con sus "mantos," y sus "calzas," y sus "turbantes," y sus "vestidos," y fueron echados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo.
    
22. Y porque la palabra del rey daba "priesa," y había procurado que se encendiese "mucho," la llama del fuego mató á aquellos que habían alzado á "Sadrach," "Mesach," y Abed-nego.
    
23. Y estos tres "varones," "Sadrach," "Mesach," y "Abed-nego," cayeron atados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo.
    
24. Entonces el rey Nabucodonosor se "espantó," y levantóse "apriesa," y "habló," y dijo á los de su consejo: ¿No echaron tres varones atados dentro del fuego? Ellos respondieron y dijeron al rey: Es "verdad," oh rey.
    
25. Respondió él y dijo: He aquí que yo veo cuatro varones "sueltos," que se pasean en medio del "fuego," y ningún daño hay en ellos: y el parecer del cuarto es semejante á hijo de los dioses.
    

21. So these men, wearing their robes, trousers, turbans and other clothes, were bound and thrown into the blazing furnace.
    
22. The king's command was so urgent and the furnace so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego,
    
23. and these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.
    
24. Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, "Weren't there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?" They replied, "Certainly, O king."
    
25. He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods."
    

26. 느부갓네살이 極烈(극렬)히 타는 풀무 아구 가까이 가서 불러 가로되 ^ㅇ至極(지극)히 높으신 하나님의 종 사드락, 메삭, 아벳느고야 나와서 이리로 오라 하매 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고가 불 가운데서 나온지라
    
27. 方伯(방백)과 ^ㅈ首領(수령)과 道伯(도백)과 王(왕)의 謀士(모사)들이 모여 이 사람들을 본즉 ^ㅊ불이 能(능)히 그 몸을 害(해)하지 못하였고 머리털도 그슬리지 아니하였고 ^ㅋ袴衣(고의) 빛도 變(변)하지 아니하였고 불 탄 냄새도 없었더라
    
28. 느부갓네살이 말하여 가로되 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고의 하나님을 讚頌(찬송)할지로다 그가 ^ㅌ그 使者(사자)를 보내사 自己(자기)를 ^ㅍ依賴(의뢰)하고 그 몸을 버려서 王(왕)의 命(명)을 拒逆(거역)하고 그 하나님 밖에는 ^ㅎ다른 神(신)을 섬기지 아니하며 그에게 절하지 아니한 ^ㅏ종들을 救援(구원)하셨도다
    
29. 그러므로 ^ㅑ내가 이제 詔書(조서)를 내리노니 各(각) ^ㅓ百姓(백성)과 各(각) 나라와 各(각) 方言(방언)하는 者(자)가 무릇 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고의 하나님께 褻慢(설만)히 말하거든 ^ㅕ그 몸을 쪼개고 그 집으로 거름터를 삼을지니 이는 이 같이 사람을 救援(구원)할 다른 神(신)이 없음이니라 하고
    
30. 王(왕)이 드디어 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 ^ㅗ바벨론 道(도)에서 더욱 높이니라
    

26. Entonces Nabucodonosor se acercó á la puerta del horno de fuego "ardiendo," y habló y dijo: "Sadrach," "Mesach," y "Abed-nego," siervos del alto "Dios," salid y venid. Entonces "Sadrach," "Mesach," y "Abed-nego," salieron de en medio del fuego.
    
27. Y juntáronse los "grandes," los "gobernadores," los "capitanes," y los del consejo del "rey," para mirar estos "varones," como el fuego no se enseñoreó de sus "cuerpos," ni cabello de sus cabezas fué "quemado," ni sus ropas se "mudaron," ni olor de fuego había pasado por ellos.
    
28. Nabucodonosor habló y dijo: Bendito el Dios de "ellos," de "Sadrach," "Mesach," y "Abed-nego," que envió su "ángel," y libró sus siervos que esperaron en "él," y el mandamiento del rey "mudaron," y entregaron sus cuerpos antes que sirviesen ni adorasen otro dios que su Dios.
    
29. Por mí pues se pone "decreto," que todo "pueblo," "nación," ó "lengua," que dijere blasfemia contra el Dios de "Sadrach," "Mesach," y "Abed-nego," sea "descuartizado," y su casa sea puesta por muladar; por cuanto no hay dios que pueda librar como éste.
    
30. Entonces el rey engrandeció á "Sadrach," "Mesach," y Abed-nego en la provincia de Babilonia.
    

26. Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, "Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!" So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire,
    
27. and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.
    
28. Then Nebuchadnezzar said, "Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king's command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.
    
29. Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way."
    
30. Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
