1. 느부갓네살 王(왕)은 ^ㅛ天下(천하)에 居(거)하는 ^ㅜ百姓(백성)들과 나라들과 各(각) 方言(방언)하는 者(자)에게 詔書(조서)하노라 願(원)하노니 너희에게 많은 ^ㅠ平康(평강)이 있을지어다
   
2. ^으至極(지극)히 높으신 하나님이 내게 行(행)하신 ^이異蹟(이적)과 奇事(기사)를 내가 알게 하기를 즐겨하노라
   
3. 크도다, 그 異蹟(이적)이여 能(능)하도다 그 奇事(기사)여, ^ㅐ그 나라는 永遠(영원)한 나라요 그 權柄(권병)은 代代(대대)에 이르리로다
   
4. 나 느부갓네살이 내 집에 便(편)히 있으며 내 宮(궁)에서 平康(평강)할 때에
   
5. 한 꿈을 꾸고 그로 因(인)하여 두려워하였으되 곧 내 寢床(침상)에서 생각하는 것과 ^ㄱ腦(뇌) 속으로 받은 異像(이상)을 因(인)하여 煩悶(번민)하였었노라
   

1. NABUCODONOSOR "rey," á todos los "pueblos," "naciones," y "lenguas," que moran en toda la tierra: Paz os sea multiplicada:
   
2. Las señales y milagros que el alto Dios ha hecho "conmigo," conviene que yo las publique.
   
3. Cuán grandes son sus "señales," y cuán potentes sus maravillas! Su "reino," reino "sempiterno," y su señorío hasta generación y generación.
   
4. Yo Nabucodonosor estaba quieto en mi "casa," y floreciente en mi palacio.
   
5. Vi un sueño que me "espantó," y las imaginaciones y visiones de mi cabeza me turbaron en mi cama.
   

1. King Nebuchadnezzar, To the peoples, nations and men of every language, who live in all the world: May you prosper greatly!
   
2. It is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me.
   
3. How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation.
   
4. I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at home in my palace, contented and prosperous.
   
5. I had a dream that made me afraid. As I was lying in my bed, the images and visions that passed through my mind terrified me.
   

6. 이러므로 ^ㄴ내가 命(명)을 내려 ^ㄷ바벨론 모든 博士(박사)를 내 앞으로 불러다가 그 꿈의 解釋(해석)을 내게 알게 하라 하매
   
7. ^ㄹ박수와 術客(술객)과 갈대아 術士(술사)와 占匠(점장)이가 들어왔기로 내가 그 꿈을 그들에게 告(고)하였으나 ^ㅁ그들이 그 解釋(해석)을 내게 알게 하지 못하였느니라
   
8. 그 後(후)에 다니엘이 내 앞에 들어왔으니 그는 내 神(신)의 이름을 좇아 ^ㅂ벨드사살이라 이름한 者(자)요 그의 안에는 ^ㅅ거룩한 神(신)들의 靈(영)이 있는 者(자)라 내가 그에게 꿈을 告(고)하여 가로되
   
9. ^ㅇ박수長(장) 벨드사살아 네 안에는 거룩한 神(신)들의 靈(영)이 있은즉 ^ㅈ아무 隱密(은밀)한 것이라도 네게는 어려울 것이 없는 줄을 내가 아노니 내 꿈에 본 異像(이상)의 解釋(해석)을 내게 告(고)하라
   
10. 내가 寢床(침상)에서 나의 腦(뇌) 속으로 받은 異像(이상)이 이러하니라 내가 ^ㅊ본즉 땅의 中央(중앙)에 한 나무가 있는데 高(고)가 높더니
    

6. Por lo cual yo puse mandamiento para hacer venir delante de mí todos los sabios de "Babilonia," que me mostrasen la declaración del sueño.
   
7. Y vinieron "magos," "astrólogos," "Caldeos," y adivinos: y dije el sueño delante de "ellos," mas nunca me mostraron su declaración;
   
8. Hasta tanto que entró delante de mí "Daniel," cuyo nombre es "Beltsasar," como el nombre de mi "dios," y en el cual hay espíritu de los dioses "santos," y dije el sueño delante de "él," diciendo:
   
9. Beltsasar, príncipe de los "magos," ya que he entendido que hay en ti espíritu de los dioses "santos," y que ningún misterio se te "esconde," exprésame las visiones de mi sueño que he "visto," y su declaración.
   
10. Aquestas las visiones de mi cabeza en mi cama: Parecíame que veía un árbol en medio de la "tierra," cuya altura era grande.
    

6. So I commanded that all the wise men of Babylon be brought before me to interpret the dream for me.
   
7. When the magicians, enchanters, astrologers and diviners came, I told them the dream, but they could not interpret it for me.
   
8. Finally, Daniel came into my presence and I told him the dream. (He is called Belteshazzar, after the name of my god, and the spirit of the holy gods is in him.)
   
9. I said, "Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you, and no mystery is too difficult for you. Here is my dream; interpret it for me.
   
10. These are the visions I saw while lying in my bed: I looked, and there before me stood a tree in the middle of the land. Its height was enormous.
    

11. 그 ^ㅋ나무가 자라서 堅固(견고)하여지고 그 高(고)는 하늘에 닿았으니 땅 끝에서도 보이겠고
    
12. 그 ^ㅌ잎사귀는 아름답고 그 열매는 많아서 萬民(만민)의 植物(식물)이 될 만하고 ^ㅍ들짐승이 그 그늘에 있으며 空中(공중)에 나는 새는 그 가지에 깃들이고 무릇 血氣(혈기) 있는 者(자)가 거기서 植物(식물)을 얻더라
    
13. 내가 寢床(침상)에서 腦(뇌) 속으로 받은 異像(이상) 가운데 또 본즉 ^ㅎ한 巡察者(순찰자), ^ㅏ한 거룩한 者(자)가 하늘에서 내려왔는데
    
14. 그가 ^ㅑ소리 질러 외쳐서 이처럼 이르기를 ^ㅓ그 나무를 베고 ^ㅕ그 가지를 찍고 그 잎사귀를 떨고 그 열매를 헤치고 짐승들로 그 아래서 떠나게 하고 새들을 그 가지에서 쫓아내라
    
15. 그러나 그 뿌리의 그루터기를 땅에 남겨두고 鐵(철)과 놋줄로 동이고 그것으로 들 靑草(청초) 가운데 있게 하라 그것이 하늘 이슬에 젖고 땅의 풀 가운데서 짐승으로 더불어 그 分量(분량)을 같이 하리라
    

11. Crecía este "árbol," y hacíase "fuerte," y su altura llegaba hasta el "cielo," y su vista hasta el cabo de toda la tierra.
    
12. Su copa era "hermosa," y su fruto en "abundancia," y para todos había en él mantenimiento. Debajo de él se ponían á la sombra las bestias del "campo," y en sus ramas hacían morada las aves del "cielo," y manteníase de él toda carne.
    
13. Veía en las visiones de mi cabeza en mi "cama," y he aquí que un vigilante y santo descendía del cielo.
    
14. Y clamaba fuertemente y decía así: Cortad el "árbol," y desmochad sus "ramas," derribad su "copa," y derramad su fruto: váyanse las bestias que están debajo de "él," y las aves de sus ramas.
    
15. Mas la cepa de sus raíces dejaréis en la "tierra," y con atadura de hierro y de metal entre la hierba del campo; y sea mojado con el rocío del "cielo," y su parte con las bestias en la hierba de la tierra.
    

11. The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth.
    
12. Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant, and on it was food for all. Under it the beasts of the field found shelter, and the birds of the air lived in its branches; from it every creature was fed.
    
13. "In the visions I saw while lying in my bed, I looked, and there before me was a messenger, a holy one, coming down from heaven.
    
14. He called in a loud voice: 'Cut down the tree and trim off its branches; strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the animals flee from under it and the birds from its branches.
    
15. But let the stump and its roots, bound with iron and bronze, remain in the ground, in the grass of the field. "'Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven, and let him live with the animals among the plants of the earth.
    

16. 또 그 마음은 變(변)하여 人生(인생)의 마음 같지 아니하고 짐승의 마음을 받아 ^ㅗ일곱 때를 ^ㅛ지나리라
    
17. 이는 巡察者(순찰자)들의 命令(명령)대로요 거룩한 者(자)들의 말대로니 곧 人生(인생)으로 至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)가 ^ㅜ人間(인간) 나라를 다스리시며 ^ㅠ自己(자기)의 뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시며 또 ^으至極(지극)히 賤(천)한 者(자)로 그 위에 세우시는 줄을 알게 하려 함이니라 하였느니라
    
18. 나 느부갓네살 王(왕)이 이 꿈을 꾸었나니 너 벨드사살아 그 解釋(해석)을 밝히 말하라 내 나라 모든 ^이博士(박사)가 能(능)히 그 解釋(해석)을 내게 알게 하지 못하였으나 오직 너는 能(능)히 하리니 이는 ^ㅐ거룩한 神(신)들의 靈(영)이 네 안에 있음이니라
    
19. 벨드사살이라 이름한 다니엘이 얼마 동안 ^ㄱ놀라 벙벙하며 ^ㄴ마음이 煩悶(번민)하여 하는지라 王(왕)이 그에게 말하여 이르기를 벨드사살아 너는 이 꿈과 그 解釋(해석)을 因(인)하여 煩悶(번민)할 것이 아니니라 벨드사살이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 내 主(주)여 ^ㄷ그 꿈은 王(왕)을 미워하는 者(자)에게 應(응)하기를 願(원)하며 그 解釋(해석)은 王(왕)의 對敵(대적)에게 應(응)하기를 願(원)하나이다
    
20. ^ㄹ王(왕)의 보신 그 나무가 자라서 堅固(견고)하여지고 그 高(고)는 하늘에 닿았으니 땅 끝에서도 보이겠고
    

16. Su corazón sea mudado de corazón de "hombre," y séale dado corazón de "bestia," y pasen sobre él siete tiempos.
    
17. La sentencia es por decreto de los "vigilantes," y por dicho de los santos la demanda: para que conozcan los vivientes que el Altísimo se enseñorea del reino de los "hombres," y que á quien él quiere lo "da," y constituye sobre él al más bajo de los hombres.
    
18. Yo el rey Nabucodonosor he visto este sueño. Tú "pues," "Beltsasar," dirás la declaración de "él," porque todos los sabios de mi reino nunca pudieron mostrarme su interpretación: mas tú "puedes," porque hay en ti espíritu de los dioses santos.
    
19. Entonces "Daniel," cuyo nombre era "Beltsasar," estuvo callando casi una "hora," y sus pensamientos lo espantaban: El rey "habló," y dijo: "Beltsasar," el sueño ni su declaración no te espante. Respondió "Beltsasar," y dijo: Señor "mío," el sueño sea para tus "enemigos," y su declaración para los que mal te quieren.
    
20. El árbol que "viste," que crecía y se hacía "fuerte," y que su altura llegaba hasta el "cielo," y su vista por toda la tierra;
    

16. Let his mind be changed from that of a man and let him be given the mind of an animal, till seven times pass by for him.
    
17. "'The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of men.'
    
18. "This is the dream that I, King Nebuchadnezzar, had. Now, Belteshazzar, tell me what it means, for none of the wise men in my kingdom can interpret it for me. But you can, because the spirit of the holy gods is in you."
    
19. Then Daniel (also called Belteshazzar) was greatly perplexed for a time, and his thoughts terrified him. So the king said, "Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its meaning alarm you." Belteshazzar answered, "My lord, if only the dream applied to your enemies and its meaning to your adversaries!
    
20. The tree you saw, which grew large and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible to the whole earth,
    

21. ^ㅁ그 잎사귀는 아름답고 그 열매는 많아서 萬民(만민)의 植物(식물)이 될만하고 들짐승은 그 아래 居(거)하며 空中(공중)에 나는 새는 그 가지에 깃들이더라 하시오니
    
22. ^ㅂ王(왕)이여 이 나무는 곧 王(왕)이시라 ^ㅅ이는 王(왕)이 자라서 堅固(견고)하여지고 昌大(창대)하사 하늘에 닿으시며 權勢(권세)는 땅 끝까지 미치심이니이다
    
23. 王(왕)이 보신즉 ^ㅇ한 巡察者(순찰자), 한 거룩한 者(자)가 하늘에서 내려와서 이르기를 ^ㅈ그 나무를 베고 滅(멸)하라 그러나 그 뿌리의 그루터기는 땅에 남겨두고 鐵(철)과 놋줄로 동이고 그것을 들 靑草(청초) 가운데 있게 하라 그것이 하늘 이슬에 젖고 또 들짐승으로 더불어 그 分量(분량)을 같이 하며 ^ㅊ일곱 때를 지내리라 하더라 하시오니
    
24. 王(왕)이여 그 解釋(해석)은 이러하니이다 곧 至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)의 命定(명정)하신 것이 내 主(주) 王(왕)에게 미칠 것이라
    
25. ^ㅋ王(왕)이 사람에게서 쫓겨나서 들짐승과 함께 居(거)하며 ^ㅌ소처럼 풀을 먹으며 하늘 이슬에 젖을 것이요 이와 같이 일곱 때를 지낼 것이라 그 때에 ^ㅍ至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)가 人間(인간) 나라를 다스리시며 自己(자기)의 뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시는 줄을 아시리이다
    

21. Y cuya copa era "hermosa," y su fruto en "abundancia," y que para todos había mantenimiento en él; debajo del cual moraban las bestias del "campo," y en sus ramas habitaban las aves del "cielo,"
    
22. Tú mismo "eres," oh "rey," que "creciste," y te hiciste "fuerte," pues creció tu "grandeza," y ha llegado hasta el "cielo," y tu señorío hasta el cabo de la tierra.
    
23. Y cuanto á lo que vió el "rey," un vigilante y santo que descendía del "cielo," y decía: Cortad el árbol y destruidlo: mas la cepa de sus raíces dejaréis en la "tierra," y con atadura de hierro y de metal en la hierba del campo; y sea mojado con el rocío del "cielo," y su parte sea con las bestias del "campo," hasta que pasen sobre él siete tiempos:
    
24. Esta es la "declaración," oh "rey," y la sentencia del "Altísimo," que ha venido sobre el rey mi señor:
    
25. Que te echarán de entre los "hombres," y con las bestias del campo será tu "morada," y con hierba del campo te apacentarán como á los "bueyes," y con rocío del cielo serás bañado; y siete tiempos pasarán sobre "ti," hasta que entiendas que el Altísimo se enseñorea en el reino de los "hombres," y que á quien él quisiere lo dará.
    

21. with beautiful leaves and abundant fruit, providing food for all, giving shelter to the beasts of the field, and having nesting places in its branches for the birds of the air--
    
22. you, O king, are that tree! You have become great and strong; your greatness has grown until it reaches the sky, and your dominion extends to distant parts of the earth.
    
23. "You, O king, saw a messenger, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, 'Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump, bound with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field, while its roots remain in the ground. Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven; let him live like the wild animals, until seven times pass by for him.'
    
24. "This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree the Most High has issued against my lord the king:
    
25. You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes.
    

26. 또 그들이 ^ㅎ그 나무 뿌리의 그루터기를 남겨 두라 하였은즉 하나님이 다스리시는 줄을 王(왕)이 깨달은 後(후)에야 王(왕)의 나라가 堅固(견고)하리이다
    
27. 그런즉 王(왕)이여 나의 諫(간)하는 것을 받으시고 ^ㅏ公義(공의)를 行(행)함으로 ^ㅑ罪(죄)를 贖(속)하고 가난한 者(자)를 矜恤(긍휼)히 여김으로 ^ㅓ罪惡(죄악)을 贖(속)하소서 그리하시면 王(왕)의 平安(평안)함이 或時(혹시) 長久(장구)하리이다 하였느니라
    
28. 이 모든 일이 다 나 느부갓네살 王(왕)에게 臨(임)하였느니라
    
29. 열 두달이 지난 後(후)에 내가 바벨론 宮(궁) 지붕에서 거닐새
    
30. 나 王(왕)이 말하여 가로되 ^ㅕ이 큰 바벨론은 내가 ^ㅗ能力(능력)과 權勢(권세)로 建設(건설)하여 나의 都城(도성)을 삼고 이것으로 내 威嚴(위엄)의 榮光(영광)을 나타낸 것이 아니냐 하였더니
    

26. Y lo que "dijeron," que dejasen en la tierra la cepa de las raíces del mismo "árbol," significa que tu reino se te quedará "firme," luego que entiendas que el señorío es en los cielos.
    
27. Por "tanto," oh "rey," aprueba mi "consejo," y redime tus pecados con "justicia," y tus iniquidades con misericordias para con los pobres; que tal vez será eso una prolongación de tu tranquilidad.
    
28. Todo aquesto vino sobre el rey Nabucodonosor.
    
29. A cabo de doce "meses," andándose paseando sobre el palacio del reino de "Babilonia,"
    
30. Habló el "rey," y dijo: ¿No es ésta la gran "Babilonia," que yo edifiqué para casa del "reino," con la fuerza de mi "poder," y para gloria de mi grandeza?
    

26. The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules.
    
27. Therefore, O king, be pleased to accept my advice: Renounce your sins by doing what is right, and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed. It may be that then your prosperity will continue."
    
28. All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar.
    
29. Twelve months later, as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon,
    
30. he said, "Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?"
    

31. ^ㅛ이 말이 오히려 나 王(왕)의 입에 있을 때에 하늘에서 소리가 내려 가로되 느부갓네살 王(왕)아 네게 말하노니 나라의 位(위)가 네게서 떠났느니라
    
32. ^ㅜ네가 사람에게서 쫓겨나서 들짐승과 함께 居(거)하며 소처럼 풀을 먹을 것이요 이와 같이 일곱 때를 지내서 至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)가 人間(인간) 나라를 다스리시며 自己(자기)의 뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시는 줄을 알기까지 이르리라 하더니
    
33. 그 同時(동시)에 이 일이 나 느부갓네살에게 應(응)하므로 내가 사람에게 쫓겨나서 소처럼 풀을 먹으며 몸이 하늘 이슬에 젖고 머리털이 독수리 털과 같았고 손톱은 새 발톱과 같았었느니라
    
34. ^ㅠ그 期限(기한)이 차매 나 느부갓네살이 하늘을 우러러 보았더니 ^으내 聰明(총명)이 다시 내게로 돌아온지라 이에 내가 至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)에게 感謝(감사)하며 ^이永生(영생)하시는 者(자)를 讚揚(찬양)하고 尊敬(존경)하였노니 ^ㅐ그 權勢(권세)는 永遠(영원)한 權勢(권세)요 그 나라는 代代(대대)로 이르리로다
    
35. ^ㄱ땅의 모든 居民(거민)을 없는 것 같이 여기시며 하늘의 軍士(군사)에게든지, 땅의 居民(거민)에게든지 ^ㄴ그는 自己(자기) 뜻대로 行(행)하시나니 ^ㄷ누가 그의 손을 禁(금)하든지 或時(혹시) ^ㄹ이르기를 네가 무엇을 하느냐 할 者(자)가 없도다
    

31. Aun estaba la palabra en la boca del "rey," cuando cae una voz del cielo: A ti "dicen," rey Nabucodonosor; el reino es traspasado de ti:
    
32. Y de entre los hombres te "echan," y con las bestias del campo será tu "morada," y como á los bueyes te apacentarán: y siete tiempos pasarán sobre "ti," hasta que conozcas que el Altísimo se enseñorea en el reino de los "hombres," y á quien él quisiere lo da.
    
33. En la misma hora se cumplió la palabra sobre "Nabucodonosor," y fué echado de entre los hombres; y comía hierba como los "bueyes," y su cuerpo se bañaba con el rocío del "cielo," hasta que su pelo creció como de "águila," y sus uñas como de aves.
    
34. Mas al fin del tiempo yo Nabucodonosor alcé mis ojos al "cielo," y mi sentido me fué vuelto; y bendije al "Altísimo," y alabé y glorifiqué al que vive para siempre; porque su señorío es "sempiterno," y su reino por todas las edades.
    
35. Y todos los moradores de la tierra por nada son contados: y en el ejército del "cielo," y en los habitantes de la "tierra," hace según su voluntad: ni hay quien estorbe su "mano," y le diga: ¿Qué haces?
    

31. The words were still on his lips when a voice came from heaven, "This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you.
    
32. You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like cattle. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes."
    
33. Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like cattle. His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.
    
34. At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever. His dominion is an eternal dominion; his kingdom endures from generation to generation.
    
35. All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: "What have you done?"
    

36. 그 同時(동시)에 ^ㅁ내 聰明(총명)이 내게로 돌아왔고 또 ^ㅂ내 나라 榮光(영광)에 對(대)하여도 내 威嚴(위엄)과 光明(광명)이 내게로 돌아왔고 또 ^ㅅ나의 謀士(모사)들과 ^ㅇ官員(관원)들이 내게 朝會(조회)하니 내가 내 나라에서 다시 세움을 입고 또 至極(지극)한 威勢(위세)가 ^ㅈ내게 더하였느니라
    
37. 그러므로 只今(지금) 나 느부갓네살이 ^ㅊ하늘의 王(왕)을 ^ㅋ讚揚(찬양)하며 稱頌(칭송)하며 尊敬(존경)하노니 ^ㅌ그의 일이 다 眞實(진실)하고 그의 行(행)하심이 義(의)로우시므로 ^ㅍ무릇 驕慢(교만)하게 行(행)하는 者(자)를 그가 能(능)히 낮추심이니라
    

36. En el mismo tiempo mi sentido me fué "vuelto," y la majestad de mi "reino," mi dignidad y mi grandeza volvieron á "mí," y mis gobernadores y mis grandes me buscaron; y fuí restituído á mi "reino," y mayor grandeza me fué añadida.
    
37. Ahora yo Nabucodonosor "alabo," engrandezco y glorifico al Rey del "cielo," porque todas sus obras son "verdad," y sus caminos juicio; y humillar puede á los que andan con soberbia.
    

36. At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before.
    
37. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
