1. 아람 王(왕) ^ㅐ벤하닷이 그 軍隊(군대)를 다 모으니 ^ㄱ王(왕) 三十二人(삼십이인)이 저와 함께 있고 또 말과 兵車(병거)들이 있더라 이에 올라가서 ^ㄴ사마리아를 에워싸고 치며
   
2. 使者(사자)들을 城中(성중) 이스라엘 王(왕) 아합에게 보내어 이르기를 벤하닷은 이르노니
   
3. 네 銀(은),金(금)은 내 것이요 네 妻(처)들과 네 子女(자녀)들의 아름다운 者(자)도 내 것이니라 하매
   
4. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 對答(대답)하여 말하기를 내 主(주), 王(왕)이여 王(왕)의 말씀 같이 나와 나의 것은 다 王(왕)의 것이니이다 하였더니
   
5. 使者(사자)가 다시 와서 이르기를 벤하닷은 이르노라 내가 이미 네게 보내어 말하기를 너는 네 銀(은),金(금)과 妻(처)들과 子女(자녀)들을 내게 붙이라 하였거니와
   

1. ENTONCES Ben-adad rey de Siria juntó á todo su "ejército," y con él treinta y dos "reyes," con caballos y carros: y "subió," y puso cerco á "Samaria," y combatióla.
   
2. Y envió mensajeros á la ciudad á Achâb rey de "Israel," diciendo:
   
3. Así ha dicho Ben-adad: Tu plata y tu oro es "mío," y tus mujeres y tus hijos hermosos son míos.
   
4. Y el rey de Israel "respondió," y dijo: Como tú "dices," rey señor "mío," yo soy "tuyo," y todo lo que tengo.
   
5. Y volviendo los mensajeros otra "vez," dijeron: Así dijo Ben-adad: Yo te envié á decir: Tu plata y tu "oro," y tus mujeres y tus hijos me darás.
   

1. Now Ben-Hadad king of Aram mustered his entire army. Accompanied by thirty-two kings with their horses and chariots, he went up and besieged Samaria and attacked it.
   
2. He sent messengers into the city to Ahab king of Israel, saying, "This is what Ben-Hadad says:
   
3. 'Your silver and gold are mine, and the best of your wives and children are mine.'"
   
4. The king of Israel answered, "Just as you say, my lord the king. I and all I have are yours."
   
5. The messengers came again and said, "This is what Ben-Hadad says: 'I sent to demand your silver and gold, your wives and your children.
   

6. 來日(래일) 이맘때에 내가 내 信服(신복)을 네게 보내리니 저희가 네 집과 네 信服(신복)의 집을 搜探(수탐)하여 ^ㄷ무릇 네 눈이 기뻐하는 것을 그 손으로 잡아 가져 가리라 한지라
   
7. 이에 이스라엘 王(왕)이 ^ㄹ나라의 長老(장로)를 다 불러 이르되 ^ㅁ너희는 이 사람이 殘骸(잔해)하려고 求(구)하는 줄을 仔細(자세)히 알라 저가 나의 妻(처)들과 子女(자녀)들과 銀(은),金(금)을 取(취)하려고 사람을 내게 보내었으나 내가 拒絶(거절)치 못하였노라
   
8. 모든 長老(장로)와 百姓(백성)들이 다 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 王(왕)은 듣지도 말고 許諾(허락)지도 마옵소서 한지라
   
9. 그러므로 王(왕)이 벤하닷의 使者(사자)에게 이르되 너희는 내 主(주), 王(왕)께 告(고)하기를 王(왕)이 처음에 보내어 종에게 求(구)하신 것은 내가 다 그대로 하려니와 이것은 내가 할 수 없나이다 하라 使者(사자)들이 돌아가서 告(고)하니라
   
10. 벤하닷이 다시 저에게 보내어 이르되 사마리아의 부스러진 것이 ^ㅂ나를 좇는 百姓(백성)의 무리의 손에 채우기에 足(족)할 것 같으면 ^ㅅ神(신)들이 내게 罰(벌)위에 罰(벌)을 내림이 마땅하니라 하매
    

6. Además mañana á estas horas enviaré yo á ti mis "siervos," los cuales escudriñarán tu "casa," y las casas de tus siervos; y tomarán con sus "manos," y llevarán todo lo precioso que tuvieres.
   
7. Entonces el rey de Israel llamó á todos los ancianos de la "tierra," y díjoles: "Entended," y ved ahora cómo éste no busca sino mal: pues que ha enviado á mí por mis mujeres y mis "hijos," y por mi plata y por mi oro; y yo no se lo he negado.
   
8. Y todos los ancianos y todo el pueblo le respondieron: No le "obedezcas," ni hagas lo que te pide.
   
9. Entonces él respondió á los embajadores de Ben-adad: Decid al rey mi señor: Haré todo lo que mandaste á tu siervo al principio; mas esto no lo puedo hacer. Y los embajadores "fueron," y diéronle la respuesta.
   
10. Y Ben-adad tornó á enviarle á decir: Así me hagan los "dioses," y así me "añadan," que el polvo de Samaria no bastará á los puños de todo el pueblo que me sigue.
    

6. But about this time tomorrow I am going to send my officials to search your palace and the houses of your officials. They will seize everything you value and carry it away.'"
   
7. The king of Israel summoned all the elders of the land and said to them, "See how this man is looking for trouble! When he sent for my wives and my children, my silver and my gold, I did not refuse him."
   
8. The elders and the people all answered, "Don't listen to him or agree to his demands."
   
9. So he replied to Ben-Hadad's messengers, "Tell my lord the king, 'Your servant will do all you demanded the first time, but this demand I cannot meet.'" They left and took the answer back to Ben-Hadad.
   
10. Then Ben-Hadad sent another message to Ahab: "May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if enough dust remains in Samaria to give each of my men a handful."
    

11. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 甲(갑)옷 입은 者(자)가 甲(갑)옷 벗는 者(자) 같이 자랑치 못할 것이라 하라 하니라
    
12. 벤하닷이 王(왕)들과 帳幕(장막)에서 ^ㅇ마시다가 이 말을 듣고 그 信服(신복)에게 이르되 너희는 陣(진)을 베풀라 하매 곧 城(성)을 向(향)하여 陣(진)을 베푸니라
    
13. 한 先知者(선지자)가 이스라엘 王(왕) 아합에게 나아가서 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 네가 이 큰 무리를 보느냐 ^ㅈ내가 오늘 저희를 네 손에 붙이리니 ^ㅊ너는 내가 여호와인줄 알리라 하셨나이다
    
14. 아합이 가로되 누구로 하시리이까 對答(대답)하되 여호와의 말씀이 各(각) 道(도)의 方伯(방백)의 少年(소년)들로 하리라 하셨나이다 아합이 가로되 누가 싸움을 始作(시작)하리이까 對答(대답)하되 王(왕)이니이다
    
15. 아합이 이에 各(각) 道(도)의 方伯(방백)의 少年(소년)들을 計數(계수)하니 二百(이백) 三十二人(삼십이인)이요 그 外(외)에 모든 百姓(백성) 곧 이스라엘의 모든 子孫(자손)을 計數(계수)하니 七千人(칠천인)이더라
    

11. Y el rey de Israel "respondió," y dijo: "Decidle," que no se alabe el que se "ciñe," como el que ya se desciñe.
    
12. Y como él oyó esta "palabra," estando bebiendo con los reyes en las "tiendas," dijo á sus siervos: Poned. Y ellos pusieron contra la ciudad.
    
13. Y he aquí un profeta se llegó á Achâb rey de Israel; y le dijo: Así ha dicho Jehová: ¿Has visto esta grande multitud? he aquí yo te la entregaré hoy en tu "mano," para que conozcas que yo soy Jehová.
    
14. Y respondió Achâb: ¿Por mano de quién? Y él dijo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Por mano de los criados de los príncipes de las provincias. Y dijo Achâb: ¿Quién comenzará la batalla? Y él respondió: Tú.
    
15. Entonces él reconoció los criados de los príncipes de las "provincias," los cuales fueron doscientos treinta y dos. Luego reconoció todo el "pueblo," todos los hijos de "Israel," que fueron siete mil.
    

11. The king of Israel answered, "Tell him: 'One who puts on his armor should not boast like one who takes it off.'"<䁐̉ 䁐̉ 崐̏ 䱠˵ 䂸̉ 䁰̉ 䀀 䁰̉ eard this message while he and the kings were drinking in their tents, and he ordered his men: "Prepare to attack." So they prepared to attack the city.
    
12. Meanwhile a prophet came to Ahab king of Israel and announced, "This is what the LORD says: 'Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and then you will know that I am the LORD.'"
    
13. "But who will do this?" asked Ahab. The prophet replied, "This is what the LORD says: 'The young officers of the provincial commanders will do it.'" "And who will start the battle?" he asked. The prophet answered, "You will."
    
14. So Ahab summoned the young officers of the provincial commanders, 232 men. Then he assembled the rest of the Israelites, 7,000 in all.
    

16. 저희가 午正(오정)에 나가니 벤하닷은 帳幕(장막)에서 돕는 王(왕) 三十(삼십) 二人(이인)으로 더불어 마시고 醉(취)한 中(중)이라
    
17. 各(각) 道(도)의 方伯(방백)의 少年(소년)들이 먼저 나갔더라 벤하닷이 探知軍(탐지군)을 보내었더니 저희가 回報(회보)하여 가로되 사마리아에서 사람들이 나오더이다 하매
    
18. 저가 이르되 和親(화친)하러 나올지라도 사로잡고 싸우러 나올지라도 사로잡으라 하니라
    
19. 各(각) 道(도)의 方伯(방백)의 少年(소년)들과 저희를 좇는 軍隊(군대)들이 城(성)에서 나가서
    
20. 各各(각각) 敵軍(적군)을 쳐 죽이매 아람 사람이 逃亡(도망)하는지라 이스라엘이 쫓으니 아람 王(왕) 벤하닷이 말을 타고 馬兵(마병)으로 더불어 逃亡(도망)하여 免(면)하니라
    

16. Y salieron á medio día. Y estaba Ben-adad "bebiendo," borracho en las "tiendas," él y los "reyes," los treinta y dos reyes que habían venido en su ayuda.
    
17. Y los criados de los príncipes de las provincias salieron los primeros. Y había Ben-adad enviado quien le dió "aviso," diciendo: Han salido hombres de Samaria.
    
18. El entonces dijo: Si han salido por "paz," tomadlos vivos; y si han salido para "pelear," tomadlos vivos.
    
19. Salieron pues de la ciudad los criados de los príncipes de las "provincias," y en pos de ellos el ejército.
    
20. E hirió cada uno al que venía contra sí: y huyeron los "Siros," siguiéndolos los de Israel. Y el rey de "Siria," "Ben-adad," se escapó en un caballo con alguna gente de caballería.
    

16. They set out at noon while Ben-Hadad and the 32 kings allied with him were in their tents getting drunk.
    
17. The young officers of the provincial commanders went out first. Now Ben-Hadad had dispatched scouts, who reported, "Men are advancing from Samaria."
    
18. He said, "If they have come out for peace, take them alive; if they have come out for war, take them alive."
    
19. The young officers of the provincial commanders marched out of the city with the army behind them
    
20. and each one struck down his opponent. At that, the Arameans fled, with the Israelites in pursuit. But Ben-Hadad king of Aram escaped on horseback with some of his horsemen.
    

21. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 나가서 말과 兵車(병거)를 치고 또 아람 사람을 쳐서 크게 屠戮(도륙)하였더라
    
22. ^ㅋ그 先知者(선지자)가 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 나아와 가로되 王(왕)은 가서 힘을 기르고 王(왕)의 行(행)할 일을 알고 準備(준비)하소서 ^ㅌ해가 돌아오면 아람 王(왕)이 王(왕)을 치러 오리이다 하니라
    
23. 아람 王(왕)의 信服(신복)들이 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 저희의 神(신)은 山(산)의 神(신)이므로 저희가 우리보다 强(강)하였거니와 우리가 萬一(만일) 平地(평지)에서 저희와 싸우면 丁寧(정녕) 저희보다 强(강)할지라
    
24. 王(왕)은 이 일을 行(행)하실지니 곧 王(왕)들을 除(제)하여 各各(각각) 그곳에서 떠나게 하고 저희 代身(대신)에 長官(장관)들을 두시고
    
25. 또 王(왕)의 잃어버린 軍隊(군대)와 같은 軍隊(군대)를 王(왕)을 爲(위)하여 充數(충수)하고 말도 말대로, 兵車(병거)도 兵車(병거)대로 充數(충수)하고 우리가 平地(평지)에서 저희와 싸우면 丁寧(정녕) 저희보다 强(강)하리이다 王(왕)이 그 말을 듣고 그리하니라
    

21. Y salió el rey de "Israel," é hirió la gente de á "caballo," y los carros; y deshizo los Siros con grande estrago.
    
22. Llegándose luego el profeta al rey de "Israel," le dijo: "Ve," "fortalécete," y considera y mira lo que has de hacer; porque pasado el "año," el rey de Siria ha de venir contra ti.
    
23. Y los siervos del rey de Siria le dijeron: Sus dioses son dioses de los "montes," por eso nos han vencido; mas si peleáremos con ellos en la "llanura," se verá si no los vencemos.
    
24. Haz pues así: Saca á los reyes cada uno de su "puesto," y pon capitanes en lugar de ellos.
    
25. Y "tú," fórmate otro ejército como el ejército que "perdiste," caballos por "caballos," y carros por carros; luego pelearemos con ellos en campo "raso," y veremos si no los vencemos. Y él les dió "oído," é hízolo así.
    

21. The king of Israel advanced and overpowered the horses and chariots and inflicted heavy losses on the Arameans.
    
22. Afterward, the prophet came to the king of Israel and said, "Strengthen your position and see what must be done, because next spring the king of Aram will attack you again."
    
23. Meanwhile, the officials of the king of Aram advised him, "Their gods are gods of the hills. That is why they were too strong for us. But if we fight them on the plains, surely we will be stronger than they.
    
24. Do this: Remove all the kings from their commands and replace them with other officers.
    
25. You must also raise an army like the one you lost--horse for horse and chariot for chariot--so we can fight Israel on the plains. Then surely we will be stronger than they." He agreed with them and acted accordingly.
    

26. 해가 돌아오매 벤하닷이 아람 사람을 點考(점고)하고 ^ㅍ아벡으로 올라와서 이스라엘과 싸우려 하매
    
27. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)도 點考(점고)함을 입고 軍糧(군량)을 받고 마주 나가서 저희 앞에 陣(진)을 치니 이스라엘은 염소 새끼의 두 적은 떼와 같고 아람 사람은 그 땅에 가득하였더라
    
28. 때에 ^ㅎ하나님의 사람이 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 나아와 告(고)하여 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 아람 사람이 말하기를 ^ㅏ여호와는 山(산)의 神(신)이요 골짜기의 神(신)은 아니라 하도다 그러므로 ^ㅑ내가 이 큰 軍隊(군대)를 다 네 손에 붙이리니 너희는 내가 여호와인줄 알리라 하셨나이다 하니라
    
29. 陣(진)이 서로 對(대)한지 七日(칠일)이라 第(제) 七日(칠일)에 接戰(접전)하여 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 하루에 아람 步兵(보병) 十萬(십만)을 죽이매
    
30. ㅓ골房(방)으로 들어가니라
    

26. Pasado el "año," Ben-adad reconoció los "Siros," y vino á Aphec á pelear contra Israel.
    
27. Y los hijos de Israel fueron también "inspeccionados," y tomando provisiones fuéronles al encuentro; y asentaron campo lo hijos de Israel delante de "ellos," como dos rebañuelos de cabras; y los Siros henchían la tierra.
    
28. Llegándose entonces el varón de Dios al rey de "Israel," hablóle diciendo: Así dijo Jehová: Por cuanto los Siros han "dicho," Jehová es Dios de los "montes," no Dios de los "valles," yo entregaré toda esta grande multitud en tu "mano," para que conozcáis que yo soy Jehová.
    
29. Siete días tuvieron asentado campo los unos delante de los "otros," y al séptimo día se dió la batalla: y mataron los hijos de Israel de los Siros en un día cien mil hombres de á pie.
    
30. Los demás huyeron á "Aphec," á la ciudad: y el muro cayó sobre veinte y siete mil hombres que habían quedado. También Ben-adad vino huyendo á la "ciudad," y escondíase de cámara en cámara.
    

26. The next spring Ben-Hadad mustered the Arameans and went up to Aphek to fight against Israel.
    
27. When the Israelites were also mustered and given provisions, they marched out to meet them. The Israelites camped opposite them like two small flocks of goats, while the Arameans covered the countryside.
    
28. The man of God came up and told the king of Israel, "This is what the LORD says: 'Because the Arameans think the LORD is a god of the hills and not a god of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands, and you will know that I am the LORD.'"
    
29. For seven days they camped opposite each other, and on the seventh day the battle was joined. The Israelites inflicted a hundred thousand casualties on the Aramean foot soldiers in one day.
    
30. The rest of them escaped to the city of Aphek, where the wall collapsed on twenty-seven thousand of them. And Ben-Hadad fled to the city and hid in an inner room.
    

31. 그 信服(신복)들이 저에게 告(고)하되 우리가 들은즉 이스라엘 집의 王(왕)들은 仁慈(인자)한 王(왕)이라 하니 萬一(만일) 우리가 ^ㅕ굵은 베로 허리를 묶고 테두리를 머리에 이고 이스라엘 王(왕)에게로 나아가면 저가 或時(혹시) 王(왕)의 生命(생명)을 살리리이다 하고
    
32. 저희가 굵은 베로 허리를 묶고 테두리를 머리에 이고 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 이르러 가로되 王(왕)의 종 벤하닷이 請(청)하기를 나의 生命(생명)을 살려주옵소서 하더이다 아합이 가로되 저가 오히려 살았느냐 저는 나의 兄弟(형제)니라
    
33. 그 사람들이 徵兆(징조)로 여기고 그 말을 얼른 받아 對答(대답)하여 가로되 벤하닷은 王(왕)의 兄弟(형제)니이다 王(왕)이 가로되 너희는 가서 저를 引導(인도)하여 오라 벤하닷이 이에 王(왕)에게 나아오니 王(왕)이 저를 兵車(병거)에 올린지라
    
34. 벤하닷이 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 내 父親(부친)이 當身(당신)의 父親(부친)에게서 빼앗은 ^ㅗ모든 城邑(성읍)을 내가 돌려 보내리이다 또 나의 父親(부친)이 사마리아에서 만든것 같이 當身(당신)도 ^ㅛ다메섹에서 當身(당신)을 爲(위)하여 거리를 만드소서 아합이 가로되 내가 이 約條(약조)로 當身(당신)을 놓으리라 하고 이에 더불어 約條(약조)하고 저를 놓았더라
    
35. ^ㅜ先知者(선지자)의 무리 中(중) 한 사람이 ^ㅠ여호와의 말씀으로 그 동무에게 이르되 너는 나를 치라 하였더니 그 사람이 치기를 싫어하는지라
    

31. Entonces sus siervos le dijeron: He "aquí," hemos oído de los reyes de la casa de Israel que son reyes clementes: pongamos pues ahora sacos en nuestros "lomos," y sogas en nuestras "cabezas," y salgamos al rey de Israel: por ventura te salvará la vida.
    
32. Ciñeron pues sus lomos de "sacos," y sogas á sus "cabezas," y vinieron al rey de "Israel," y dijéronle: Tu siervo Ben-adad dice: Ruégote que viva mi alma. Y él respondió: Si él vive "aún," mi hermano es.
    
33. Esto tomaron aquellos hombres por buen "agüero," y presto tomaron esta palabra de su "boca," y dijeron: ¡Tu hermano Ben-adad! Y él dijo: "Id," y traedle. Ben-adad entonces se presentó á "Achâb," y él le hizo subir en un carro.
    
34. Y díjole Ben-adad: Las ciudades que mi padre tomó al "tuyo," yo las restituiré; y haz plazas en Damasco para "ti," como mi padre las hizo en Samaria. Y "yo," dijo "Achâb," te dejaré partir con esta alianza. Hizo pues con él "alianza," y dejóle ir.
    
35. Entonces un varón de los hijos de los profetas dijo á su compañero por palabra de Dios: Hiéreme ahora. Mas el otro varón no quiso herirle.
    

31. His officials said to him, "Look, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful. Let us go to the king of Israel with sackcloth around our waists and ropes around our heads. Perhaps he will spare your life."
    
32. The men took this as a good sign and were quick to pick up his word. "Yes, your brother Ben-Hadad!" they said. "Go and get him," the king said. When Ben-Hadad came out, Ahab had him come up into his chariot.
    
33. "I will return the cities my father took from your father," Ben-Hadad offered. "You may set up your own market areas in Damascus, as my father did in Samaria." Ahab said,"On the basis of a treaty I will set you free." So he made a treaty with him, and let him go.
    
34. By the word of the LORD one of the sons of the prophets said to his companion, "Strike me with your weapon," but the man refused.
    

36. 저가 그 사람에게 이르되 네가 여호와의 말씀을 듣지 아니하였으니 네가 나를 떠나갈 때에 獅子(사자)가 너를 죽이리라 그 사람이 저의 곁을 떠나가더니 ^으獅子(사자)가 그를 만나 죽였더라
    
37. 저가 또 다른 사람을 만나 가로되 너는 나를 치라 하매 그 사람이 저를 치되 傷(상)하도록 친지라
    
38. 先知者(선지자)가 가서 手巾(수건)으로 그 눈을 가리워 ^이變形(변형)하고 길 가에서 王(왕)을 기다리다가
    
39. 王(왕)이 지나갈 때에 소리질러 王(왕)을 불러 가로되 종이 戰場(전장) 가운데 나갔더니 한 사람이 돌이켜 어떤 사람을 끌고 내게로 와서 말하기를 이 사람을 지키라 萬一(만일) 저를 잃어버리면 ^ㅐ네 生命(생명)으로 저의 生命(생명)을 代身(대신)하거나 그렇지 아니하면 네가 銀(은) 한달란트를 내어야 하리라 하였거늘
    
40. 종이 이리 저리 일 볼 동안에 저가 없어졌나이다 이스라엘 王(왕)이 저에게 이르되 네가 스스로 決定(결정)하였으니 그대로 當(당)하여야 하리라
    

36. Y él le dijo: Por cuanto no has obedecido á la palabra de "Jehová," he aquí en apartándote de "mí," te herirá un león. Y como se apartó de "él," topóle un "león," é hirióle.
    
37. Encontróse luego con otro "hombre," y díjole: Hiéreme ahora. Y el hombre le dió un "golpe," é hízole una herida.
    
38. Y el profeta se "fué," y púsose delante del rey en el "camino," y disfrazóse con un velo sobre los ojos.
    
39. Y como el rey "pasaba," él dió voces al "rey," y dijo: Tu siervo salió entre la tropa: y he aquí apartándose "uno," trájome un "hombre," diciendo: Guarda á este "hombre," y si llegare á "faltar," tu vida será por la "suya," ó pagarás un talento de plata.
    
40. Y como tu siervo estaba ocupado á una parte y á "otra," él desapareció. Entonces el rey de Israel le dijo: Esa será tu sentencia: tú la has pronunciado.
    

36. So the prophet said, "Because you have not obeyed the LORD, as soon as you leave me a lion will kill you." And after the man went away, a lion found him and killed him.
    
37. The prophet found another man and said, "Strike me, please." So the man struck him and wounded him.
    
38. Then the prophet went and stood by the road waiting for the king. He disguised himself with his headband down over his eyes.
    
39. As the king passed by, the prophet called out to him, "Your servant went into the thick of the battle, and someone came to me with a captive and said, 'Guard this man. If he is missing, it will be your life for his life, or you must pay a talent of silver.'
    
40. While your servant was busy here and there, the man disappeared." "That is your sentence," the king of Israel said. "You have pronounced it yourself."
    

41. 저가 急(급)히 그 눈에 가리운 手巾(수건)을 벗으니 이스라엘 王(왕)이 저는 先知者(선지자) 中(중) 한 사람인 줄 알아 본지라
    
42. 저가 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 여호와의 말씀이 내가 滅(멸)하기로 作定(작정)한 사람을 네 손으로 놓았은즉 네 목숨은 저의 목숨을 代身(대신)하고 네 百姓(백성)은 저의 百姓(백성)을 代身(대신)하리라 하셨나이다
    
43. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 근심하고 沓沓(답답)하여 ^ㄱ그 宮(궁)으로 돌아가려고 사마리아에 이르니라
    

41. Pero él se quitó presto el velo de sobre sus "ojos," y el rey de Israel conoció que era de los profetas.
    
42. Y él le dijo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Por cuanto soltaste de la mano el hombre de mi "anatema," tu vida será por la "suya," y tu pueblo por el suyo.
    
43. Y el rey de Israel se fué á su casa triste y "enojado," y llegó á Samaria.
    

41. Then the prophet quickly removed the headband from his eyes, and the king of Israel recognized him as one of the prophets.
    
42. He said to the king, "This is what the LORD says: 'You have set free a man I had determined should die. Therefore it is your life for his life, your people for his people.'"
    
43. Sullen and angry, the king of Israel went to his palace in Samaria.
