전도서(Eclesiastés) 9장 [개역한글 : RV1909 : NIV]

1. 내가 마음을 다하여 이 모든 일을 窮究(궁구)하며 살펴본즉 ^ㅕ義人(의인)과 智慧者(지혜자)나 그들의 行(행)하는 일이나 다 ^ㅗ하나님의 손에 있으니 사랑을 받을는지 미움을 받을는지 사람이 알지 못하는 것은 모두 그 未來(미래)임이니라
   
2. ^ㅛ모든 사람에게 臨(임)하는 모든 것이 一般(일반)이라 ^ㅜ義人(의인)과 惡人(악인)이며 善(선)하고 깨끗한 者(자)와 깨끗지 않은 者(자)며 祭祀(제사)를 드리는 者(자)와 祭祀(제사)를 드리지 아니하는 者(자)의 結局(결국)이 一般(일반)이니 善人(선인)과 罪人(죄인)이며 ^ㅠ盟誓(맹서)하는 者(자)와 盟誓(맹서)하기를 무서워하는 者(자)가 一般(일반)이로다
   
3. 모든 사람의 結局(결국)이 一般(일반)인 그것은 해 아래서 모든 일 中(중)에 惡(악)한 것이니 곧 人生(인생)의 마음에 惡(악)이 가득하여 平生(평생)에 ^으미친 마음을 품다가 後(후)에는 죽은 者(자)에게로 돌아가는 것이라
   
4. 모든 산 者(자) 中(중)에 參與(참여)한 者(자)가 所望(소망)이 있음은 산 개가 죽은 獅子(사자)보다 나음이니라
   
5. 무릇 산 者(자)는 죽을 줄을 알되 ^이죽은 者(자)는 아무 것도 모르며 다시는 賞(상)도 받지 못하는 것은 ^ㅐ그 이름이 잊어버린 바 됨이라
   

1. CIERTAMENTE dado he mi corazón á todas estas "cosas," para declarar todo esto: que los justos y los "sabios," y sus "obras," están en la mano de Dios; y que no sabe el hombre ni el amor ni el odio por todo lo que pasa delante de él.
   
2. Todo acontece de la misma manera á todos: un mismo suceso ocurre al justo y al impío; al bueno y al limpio y al no limpio; al que "sacrifica," y al que no sacrifica: como el "bueno," así el que peca; el que "jura," como el que teme el juramento.
   
3. Este mal hay entre todo lo que se hace debajo del "sol," que todos tengan un mismo "suceso," y también que el corazón de los hijos de los hombres esté lleno de "mal," y de enloquecimiento en su corazón durante su vida: y "después," á los muertos.
   
4. Aún hay esperanza para todo aquél que está entre los vivos; porque mejor es perro vivo que león muerto.
   
5. Porque los que viven saben que han de morir: mas los muertos nada "saben," ni tienen más paga; porque su memoria es puesta en olvido.
   

1. So I reflected on all this and concluded that the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God's hands, but no man knows whether love or hate awaits him.
   
2. All share a common destiny--the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. As it is with the good man, so with the sinner; as it is with those who take oaths, so with those who are afraid to take them.
   
3. This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of men, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead.
   
4. Anyone who is among the living has hope--even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!
   
5. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even the memory of them is forgotten.
   

6. 그 사랑함과 미워함과 猜忌(시기)함이 없어진지 오래니 해 아래서 行(행)하는 모든 일에 저희가 다시는 永永(영영)히 分福(분복)이 없느니라
   
7. 너는 가서 ^ㄱ기쁨으로 네 植物(식물)을 먹고 즐거운 마음으로 네 葡萄酒(포도주)를 마실지어다 이는 하나님이 너의 하는 일을 벌써 기쁘게 받으셨음이니라
   
8. ^ㄴ네 衣服(의복)을 恒常(항상) 희게하며 네 머리에 香(향)^ㄷ기름을 그치지 않게 할지니라
   
9. 네 헛된 平生(평생)의 모든 날 곧 하나님이 해 아래서 네게 주신 모든 ^ㄹ헛된 날에 ^ㅁ사랑하는 아내와 함께 즐겁게 살지어다 이는 네가 一平生(일평생)에 해 아래서 受苦(수고)하고 얻은 ^ㅂ分福(분복)이니라
   
10. ^ㅅ무릇 네 손이 일을 當(당)하는대로 ^ㅇ힘을 다하여 할지어다 네가 將次(장차) 들어갈 陰府(음부)에는 ^ㅈ일도 없고 計劃(계획)도 없고 知識(지식)도 없고 智慧(지혜)도 없음이니라
    

6. También su "amor," y su odio y su "envidia," feneció ya: ni tiene ya más parte en el "siglo," en todo lo que se hace debajo del sol.
   
7. Anda, y come tu pan con "gozo," y bebe tu vino con alegre corazón: porque tus obras ya son agradables á Dios.
   
8. En todo tiempo sean blancos tus "vestidos," y nunca falte ungüento sobre tu cabeza.
   
9. Goza de la vida con la mujer que "amas," todos los días de la vida de tu "vanidad," que te son dados debajo del "sol," todos los días de tu vanidad; porque esta es tu parte en la "vida," y en tu trabajo con que te afanas debajo del sol.
   
10. Todo lo que te viniere á la mano para "hacer," hazlo según tus fuerzas; porque en el "sepulcro," adonde tú "vas," no hay "obra," ni "industria," ni "ciencia," ni sabiduría.
    

6. Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished; never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun.
   
7. Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for it is now that God favors what you do.
   
8. Always be clothed in white, and always anoint your head with oil.
   
9. Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under the sun--all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun.
   
10. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.
    

11. 내가 ^ㅊ돌이켜 해 아래서 보니 ^ㅋ빠른 競走者(경주자)라고 先着(선착)하는 것이 아니며 ^ㅌ有力者(유력자)라고 戰爭(전쟁)에 勝利(승리)하는 것이 아니며 智慧者(지혜자)라고 植物(식물)을 얻는 것이 아니며 明哲者(명철자)라고 財物(재물)을 얻는 것이 아니며 技能者(기능자)라고 恩寵(은총)을 입는 것이 아니니 이는 時期(시기)와 ^ㅍ偶然(우연)이 ^ㅎ이 모든 者(자)에게 臨(임)함이라
    
12. 大抵(대저) 사람은 ^ㅏ自己(자기)의 時期(시기)를 알지 못하나니 물고기가 災殃(재앙)의 그물에 걸리고 ^ㅑ새가 올무에 걸림같이 人生(인생)도 災殃(재앙)의 날이 ^ㅓ忽然(홀연)히 臨(임)하면 거기 걸리느니라
    
13. 내가 또 해 아래서 智慧(지혜)를 보고 크게 여긴 것이 이러하니
    
14. 곧 어떤 작고 人口(인구)가 많지 않은 城邑(성읍)에 큰 임금이 와서 에워싸고 큰 胸璧(흉벽)을 쌓고 치고자 할 때에
    
15. 그 城邑(성읍) 가운데 ^ㅕ가난한 智慧者(지혜자)가 있어서 그 ^ㅗ智慧(지혜)로 그 城邑(성읍)을 건진 것이라 그러나 이 가난한 者(자)를 記憶(기억)하는 사람이 없었도다
    

11. Tornéme, y vi debajo del "sol," que ni es de los ligeros la "carrera," ni la guerra de los "fuertes," ni aun de los sabios el "pan," ni de los prudentes las "riquezas," ni de los elocuentes el favor; sino que tiempo y ocasión acontece á todos.
    
12. Porque el hombre tampoco conoce su tiempo: como los peces que son presos en la mala "red," y como las aves que se prenden en "lazo," así son enlazados los hijos de los hombres en el tiempo "malo," cuando cae de repente sobre ellos.
    
13. También vi esta sabiduría debajo del "sol," la cual me parece grande:
    
14. Una pequeña "ciudad," y pocos hombres en ella; y viene contra ella un gran "rey," y "cércala," y edifica contra ella grandes baluartes:
    
15. Y hállase en ella un hombre "pobre," "sabio," el cual libra la ciudad con su sabiduría; y nadie se acordaba de aquel pobre hombre.
    

11. I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.
    
12. Moreover, no man knows when his hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so men are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.
    
13. I also saw under the sun this example of wisdom that greatly impressed me:
    
14. There was once a small city with only a few people in it. And a powerful king came against it, surrounded it and built huge siegeworks against it.
    
15. Now there lived in that city a man poor but wise, and he saved the city by his wisdom. But nobody remembered that poor man.
    

16. 그러므로 내가 이르기를 ^ㅛ智慧(지혜)가 힘보다 낫다마는 ^ㅜ가난한 者(자)의 智慧(지혜)가 蔑視(멸시)를 받고 그 말이 申請(신청)되지 아니한다 하였노라
    
17. ^ㅠ從容(종용)히 들리는 智慧者(지혜자)의 말이 愚昧者(우매자)의 어른의 號令(호령)보다 나으니라
    
18. ^으智慧(지혜)가 兵器(병기)보다 나으니라 그러나 ^이한 罪人(죄인)이 많은 善(선)을 敗壞(패괴)케 하느니라
    

16. Entonces dije yo: Mejor es la sabiduría que la fortaleza; aunque la ciencia del pobre sea "menospreciada," y no sean escuchadas sus palabras.
    
17. Las palabras del sabio con reposo son "oídas," más que el clamor del señor entre los necios.
    
18. Mejor es la sabiduría que las armas de guerra; mas un pecador destruye mucho bien.
    

16. So I said, "Wisdom is better than strength." But the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are no longer heeded.
    
17. The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools.
    
18. Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good.
