전도서(Eclesiastés) 2장 [개역한글 : RV1909 : NIV]

1. 나는 내 ^이마음에 이르기를 자, 내가 試驗的(시험적)으로 너를 즐겁게 하리니 너는 樂(낙)을 누리라 하였으나 본즉 이것도 헛되도다
   
2. 내가 ^ㅐ웃음을 論(논)하여 이르기를 미친 것이라 하였고 喜樂(희락)을 論(논)하여 이르기를 저가 무엇을 하는가 하였노라
   
3. 내 마음이 窮究(궁구)하기를 ^ㄱ내가 어떻게 하여야 내 마음에 智慧(지혜)로 다스림을 받으면서 술로 내 肉身(육신)을 즐겁게 할까 또 어떻게 하여야 ^ㄴ어리석음을 取(취)하여서 天下(천하) 人生(인생)의 終身(종신)토록 生活(생활)함에 어떤 것이 快樂(쾌락)인지 알까 하여
   
4. 나의 事業(사업)을 크게 하였노라 내가 나를 爲(위)하여 ^ㄷ집들을 지으며 ^ㄹ葡萄園(포도원)을 심으며
   
5. 여러 ^ㅁ동산과 ^ㅂ果園(과원)을 만들고 그 가운데 各種(각종) 果木(과목)을 심었으며
   

1. DIJE yo en mi corazón: Ven "ahora," te probaré con "alegría," y gozarás de bienes. Mas he aquí esto también era vanidad.
   
2. A la risa dije: Enloqueces; y al placer: ¿De qué sirve esto?
   
3. Propuse en mi corazón agasajar mi carne con "vino," y que anduviese mi corazón en "sabiduría," con retención de la "necedad," hasta ver cuál fuese el bien de los hijos de los "hombres," en el cual se ocuparan debajo del cielo todos los días de su vida.
   
4. Engrandecí mis "obras," edifiquéme "casas," plantéme viñas;
   
5. Híceme huertos y "jardines," y planté en ellos árboles de todos frutos;
   

1. I thought in my heart, "Come now, I will test you with pleasure to find out what is good." But that also proved to be meaningless.
   
2. "Laughter," I said, "is foolish. And what does pleasure accomplish?"
   
3. I tried cheering myself with wine, and embracing folly--my mind still guiding me with wisdom. I wanted to see what was worthwhile for men to do under heaven during the few days of their lives.
   
4. I undertook great projects: I built houses for myself and planted vineyards.
   
5. I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them.
   

6. 樹木(수목)을 기르는 森林(삼림)에 물주기 爲(위)하여 못을 팠으며
   
7. 奴婢(노비)는 사기도 하였고 ^ㅅ집에서 나게도 하였으며 나보다 먼저 예루살렘에 있던 모든 者(자)보다도 ^ㅇ소와 羊(양)떼의 所有(소유)를 많게 하였으며
   
8. ^ㅈ銀(은),金(금)과 ^ㅊ王(왕)들의 보배와 ^ㅋ여러 道(도)의 보배를 쌓고 또 ^ㅌ노래하는 男女(남녀)와 人生(인생)들의 기뻐하는 ^ㅍ妻(처)와 妾(첩)들을 많이 두었노라
   
9. 내가 이같이 昌盛(창성)하여 ^ㅎ나보다 먼저 예루살렘에 있던 모든 者(자)보다 지나고 내 智慧(지혜)도 내게 如前(여전)하여
   
10. 무엇이든지 내 마음이 즐거워하는 것을 내가 막지 아니하였으니 이는 ^ㅏ나의 모든 受苦(수고)를 내 마음이 기뻐하였음이라 이것이 ^ㅑ나의 모든 受苦(수고)로 말미암아 얻은 分福(분복)이로다
    

6. Híceme estanques de "aguas," para regar de ellos el bosque donde los árboles crecían.
   
7. Poseí siervos y "siervas," y tuve hijos de familia; también tuve posesión grande de vacas y "ovejas," sobre todos los que fueron antes de mí en Jerusalem;
   
8. Alleguéme también plata y "oro," y tesoro preciado de reyes y de provincias; híceme de cantores y "cantoras," y los deleites de los hijos de los "hombres," instrumentos músicos y de todas suertes.
   
9. Y fuí "engrandecido," y aumentado más que todos los que fueron antes de mí en Jerusalem: á más de esto perseveró conmigo mi sabiduría.
   
10. No negué á mis ojos ninguna cosa que "desearan," ni aparté mi corazón de placer "alguno," porque mi corazón gozó de todo mi trabajo: y ésta fué mi parte de toda mi faena.
    

6. I made reservoirs to water groves of flourishing trees.
   
7. I bought male and female slaves and had other slaves who were born in my house. I also owned more herds and flocks than anyone in Jerusalem before me.
   
8. I amassed silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and provinces. I acquired men and women singers, and a harem as well--the delights of the heart of man.
   
9. I became greater by far than anyone in Jerusalem before me. In all this my wisdom stayed with me.
   
10. I denied myself nothing my eyes desired; I refused my heart no pleasure. My heart took delight in all my work, and this was the reward for all my labor.
    

11. 그 後(후)에 본즉 내 손으로 한 모든 일과 受苦(수고)한 모든 受苦(수고)가 다 ^ㅓ헛되어 바람을 잡으려는 것이며 ^ㅕ해 아래서 無益(무익)한 것이로다
    
12. ^ㅗ내가 돌이켜 ^ㅛ智慧(지혜)와 妄靈(망령)됨과 어리석음을 보았나니 王(왕)의 뒤에 오는 者(자)는 무슨 일을 行(행)할꼬 ^ㅜ行(행)한지 오랜 일일 뿐이리라
    
13. 내가 보건대 智慧(지혜)가 愚昧(우매)보다 뛰어남이 빛이 어두움보다 뛰어남 같도다
    
14. ^ㅠ智慧者(지혜자)는 눈이 밝고 愚昧者(우매자)는 어두움에 다니거니와 ^으이들의 當(당)하는 일이 一般(일반)인 줄을 내가 깨닫고
    
15. 心中(심중)에 이르기를 ^이愚昧者(우매자)의 當(당)한 것을 나도 當(당)하리니 내가 心中(심중)에 이르기를 이것도 헛되도다
    

11. Miré yo luego todas las obras que habían hecho mis "manos," y el trabajo que tomé para hacer las: y he "aquí," todo vanidad y aflicción de "espíritu," y no hay provecho debajo del sol.
    
12. Después torné yo á mirar para ver la sabiduría y los desvaríos y la necedad; (porque ¿qué hombre hay que pueda seguir al rey en lo que ya hicieron?)
    
13. Y he visto que la sabiduría sobrepuja á la "necedad," como la luz á las tinieblas.
    
14. El sabio tiene sus ojos en su "cabeza," mas el necio anda en tinieblas: empero también entendí yo que un mismo suceso acaecerá al uno que al otro.
    
15. Entonces dije yo en mi corazón: Como sucederá al necio me sucederá también á mí: ¿para qué pues he trabajado hasta ahora por hacerme más sabio? Y dije en mi "corazón," que también esto era vanidad.
    

11. Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind; nothing was gained under the sun.
    
12. Then I turned my thoughts to consider wisdom, and also madness and folly. What more can the king's successor do than what has already been done?
    
13. I saw that wisdom is better than folly, just as light is better than darkness.
    
14. The wise man has eyes in his head, while the fool walks in the darkness; but I came to realize that the same fate overtakes them both.
    
15. Then I thought in my heart, "The fate of the fool will overtake me also. What then do I gain by being wise?" I said in my heart, "This too is meaningless."
    

16. 智慧者(지혜자)나 愚昧者(우매자)나 ^ㅐ永遠(영원)토록 記憶(기억)함을 얻지 못하나니 後日(후일)에는 다 잊어버린지 오랠 것임이라 ^ㄱ오호라, 智慧者(지혜자)의 죽음이 愚昧者(우매자)의 죽음과 一般(일반)이로다
    
17. 이러므로 내가 사는 것을 恨(한)하였노니 이는 해 아래서 하는 일이 내게 괴로움이요 다 헛되어 바람을 잡으려는 것임이로다
    
18. ^ㄴ내가 해 아래서 나의 受苦(수고)한 모든 受苦(수고)를 恨(한)하였노니 이는 ^ㄷ내 뒤를 이을 者(자)에게 끼치게 됨이라
    
19. 그 사람이 智慧者(지혜자)일지, 愚昧者(우매자)일지야 누가 알랴마는 내가 해 아래서 내 智慧(지혜)를 나타내어 受苦(수고)한 모든 結果(결과)를 저가 다 管理(관리)하리니 이것도 헛되도다
    
20. 이러므로 내가 해 아래서 受苦(수고)한 모든 受苦(수고)에 對(대)하여 도리어 마음으로 失望(실망)케 하였도다
    

16. Porque ni del sabio ni del necio habrá memoria para siempre; pues en los días venideros ya todo será "olvidado," y también morirá el sabio como el necio.
    
17. Aborrecí por tanto la "vida," porque la obra que se hace debajo del sol me era fastidiosa; por cuanto todo es vanidad y aflicción de espíritu.
    
18. Yo asimismo aborrecí todo mi trabajo que había puesto por obra debajo del sol; el cual dejaré á otro que vendrá después de mí.
    
19. ¿Y quién sabe si será "sabio," ó "necio," el que se enseñoreará de todo mi trabajo en que yo me "afané," y en que ocupé debajo del sol mi sabiduría? Esto también es vanidad.
    
20. Tornéme por tanto á desesperanzar mi corazón acerca de todo el trabajo en que me "afané," y en que había ocupado debajo del sol mi sabiduría.
    

16. For the wise man, like the fool, will not be long remembered; in days to come both will be forgotten. Like the fool, the wise man too must die!
    
17. So I hated life, because the work that is done under the sun was grievous to me. All of it is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
    
18. I hated all the things I had toiled for under the sun, because I must leave them to the one who comes after me.
    
19. And who knows whether he will be a wise man or a fool? Yet he will have control over all the work into which I have poured my effort and skill under the sun. This too is meaningless.
    
20. So my heart began to despair over all my toilsome labor under the sun.
    

21. 어떤 사람은 그 智慧(지혜)와 知識(지식)과 ^ㄹ才操(재조)를 써서 受苦(수고)하였어도 그 얻은 것을 受苦(수고)하지 아니한 者(자)에게 業(업)으로 끼치리니 이것도 헛된 것이라 큰 害(해)로다
    
22. 사람이 해 아래서 受苦(수고)하는 ^ㅁ모든 受苦(수고)와 ^ㅂ마음에 애쓰는 것으로 所得(소득)이 무엇이랴
    
23. ^ㅅ一平生(일평생)에 근심하며 ^ㅇ受苦(수고)하는 것이 슬픔뿐이라 그 마음이 밤에도 쉬지 못하나니 이것도 헛되도다
    
24. 사람이 ^ㅈ먹고 마시며 受苦(수고)하는 가운데서 心靈(심령)으로 樂(낙)을 누리게 하는 것보다 ^ㅊ나은 것이 없나니 내가 이것도 본즉 ^ㅋ하나님의 손에서 나는 것이로다
    
25. 먹고 즐거워하는 일에 누가 나보다 勝(승)하랴
    

21. Que el hombre trabaje con "sabiduría," y con "ciencia," y con "rectitud," y que haya de dar su hacienda á hombre que nunca trabajó en ello! También es esto vanidad y mal grande.
    
22. Porque ¿qué tiene el hombre de todo su "trabajo," y fatiga de su "corazón," con que debajo del sol él se afanara?
    
23. Porque todos sus días no son sino "dolores," y sus trabajos molestias: aun de noche su corazón no reposa. Esto también es vanidad.
    
24. No hay cosa mejor para el hombre sino que coma y "beba," y que su alma vea el bien de su trabajo. También tengo yo visto que esto es de la mano de Dios.
    
25. Porque ¿quién "comerá," y quién se "cuidará," mejor que yo?
    

21. For a man may do his work with wisdom, knowledge and skill, and then he must leave all he owns to someone who has not worked for it. This too is meaningless and a great misfortune.
    
22. What does a man get for all the toil and anxious striving with which he labors under the sun?
    
23. All his days his work is pain and grief; even at night his mind does not rest. This too is meaningless.
    
24. A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God,
    
25. for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment?
    

26. 하나님이 그 기뻐하시는 者(자)에게는 ^ㅌ智慧(지혜)와 知識(지식)과 喜樂(희락)을 주시나 罪人(죄인)에게는 勞苦(로고)를 주시고 ^ㅍ저로 모아 쌓게 하사 하나님을 기뻐하는 者(자)에게 주게 하시나니 ^ㅎ이것도 헛되어 바람을 잡으려는 것이로다
    

26. Porque al hombre que le "agrada," Dios le da sabiduría y ciencia y "gozo," mas al pecador da "trabajo," el que allegue y "amontone," para que dé al que agrada á Dios. También esto es vanidad y aflicción de espíritu.
    

26. To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
