1. ^ㅋ늙은이를 꾸짖지 말고 勸(권)하되 아비에게 하듯하며 ^ㅌ젊은이를 兄弟(형제)에게 하듯하고
   
2. 늙은 女子(녀자)를 어미에게 하듯하며 젊은 女子(녀자)를 一切(일절) 깨끗함으로 姉妹(자매)에게 하듯 하라
   
3. ^ㅍ참 寡婦(과부)인 寡婦(과부)를 敬待(경대)하라
   
4. 萬一(만일) 어떤 寡婦(과부)에게 子女(자녀)나 孫子(손자)들이 있거든 저희로 먼저 自己(자기) 집에서 ^ㅎ孝(효)를 行(행)하여 父母(부모)에게 報答(보답)하기를 배우게 하라 ^ㅏ이것이 하나님 앞에 받으실 만한 것이니라
   
5. ^ㅑ참 寡婦(과부)로서 외로운 者(자)는 하나님께 所望(소망)을 두어 ^ㅓ晝夜(주야)로 恒常(항상) 懇求(간구)와 祈禱(기도)를 하거니와
   

1. NO reprendas al "anciano," sino exhórtale como á padre: á los más "jóvenes," como á hermanos;
   
2. A las "ancianas," como á madres; á las "jovencitas," como á "hermanas," con toda pureza.
   
3. Honra á las viudas que en verdad son viudas.
   
4. Pero si alguna viuda tuviere "hijos," ó "nietos," aprendan primero á gobernar su casa "piadosamente," y á recompensar á sus padres: porque esto es lo honesto y agradable delante de Dios.
   
5. Ahora, la que en verdad es viuda y "solitaria," espera en "Dios," y es diligente en suplicaciones y oraciones noche y día.
   

1. Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers,
   
2. older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.
   
3. Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need.
   
4. But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.
   
5. The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help.
   

6. ^ㅕ逸樂(일락)을 좋아하는 이는 살았으나 ^ㅗ죽었느니라
   
7. 네가 또한 ^ㅛ이것을 命(명)하여 그들로 責望(책망) 받을 것이 없게 하라
   
8. 누구든지 自己(자기) 親族(친족) 特(특)히 ^ㅜ自己(자기) 家族(가족)을 돌아보지 아니하면 ^ㅠ믿음을 背叛(배반)한 者(자)요 不信者(불신자)보다 더 惡(악)한 者(자)니라
   
9. 寡婦(과부)로 名簿(명부)에 올릴 者(자)는 나이 六十(육십)이 덜 되지 아니하고 ^으한 男便(남편)의 아내이었던 者(자)로서
   
10. 善(선)한 行實(행실)의 證據(증거)가 있어 或(혹)은 子女(자녀)를 養育(양육)하며 或(혹)은 나그네를 待接(대접)하며 或(혹)은 ^이聖徒(성도)들의 발을 씻기며 或(혹)은 ^ㅐ患難(환난) 當(당)한 者(자)들을 救濟(구제)하며 或(혹)은 모든 ^ㄱ善(선)한 일을 좇은 者(자)라야 할 것이요
    

6. Pero la que vive en "delicias," viviendo está muerta.
   
7. Denuncia pues estas "cosas," para que sean sin reprensión.
   
8. Y si alguno no tiene cuidado de los "suyos," y mayormente de los de su "casa," la fe "negó," y es peor que un infiel.
   
9. La viuda sea puesta en clase "especial," no menos que de sesenta "años," que haya sido esposa de un solo marido.
   
10. Que tenga testimonio en buenas obras; si crió hijos; si ha ejercitado la hospitalidad; si ha lavado los pies de los santos; si ha socorrido á los afligidos; si ha seguido toda buena obra.
    

6. But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives.
   
7. Give the people these instructions, too, so that no one may be open to blame.
   
8. If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
   
9. No widow may be put on the list of widows unless she is over sixty, has been faithful to her husband,
   
10. and is well known for her good deeds, such as bringing up children, showing hospitality, washing the feet of the saints, helping those in trouble and devoting herself to all kinds of good deeds.
    

11. 젊은 寡婦(과부)는 拒絶(거절)하라 이는 ^ㄴ情欲(정욕)으로 그리스도를 背叛(배반)할 때에 시집가고자 함이니
    
12. 처음 믿음을 저버렸으므로 審判(심판)을 받느니라
    
13. 또 저희가 게으름을 익혀 집집에 돌아다니고 게으를 뿐 아니라 ^ㄷ妄靈(망령)된 貶論(폄론)을 하며 ^ㄹ일을 만들며 마땅히 아니할 말을 하나니
    
14. 그러므로 ^ㅁ젊은이는 시집가서 아이를 낳고 ^ㅂ집을 다스리고 對敵(대적)에게 ^ㅅ毁謗(훼방)할 機會(기회)를 조금도 주지 말기를 願(원)하노라
    
15. ^ㅇ이미 사단에게 돌아간 者(자)들도 있도다
    

11. Pero viudas más jóvenes no admitas: porque después de hacerse licenciosas contra "Cristo," quieren casarse.
    
12. Condenadas "ya," por haber falseado la primera fe.
    
13. Y aun también se acostrumbran á ser "ociosas," á andar de casa en casa; y no solamente "ociosas," sino también parleras y "curiosas," hablando lo que no conviene.
    
14. Quiero "pues," que las que son jóvenes se "casen," críen "hijos," gobiernen la casa; que ninguna ocasión den al adversario para maldecir.
    
15. Porque ya algunas han vuelto atrás en pos de Satanás.
    

11. As for younger widows, do not put them on such a list. For when their sensual desires overcome their dedication to Christ, they want to marry.
    
12. Thus they bring judgment on themselves, because they have broken their first pledge.
    
13. Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things they ought not to.
    
14. So I counsel younger widows to marry, to have children, to manage their homes and to give the enemy no opportunity for slander.
    
15. Some have in fact already turned away to follow Satan.
    

16. 萬一(만일) 믿는 女子(녀자)에게 寡婦(과부) 親戚(친척)이 있거든 自己(자기)가 도와주고 敎會(교회)로 짐지지 말게 하라 이는 ^ㅈ참 寡婦(과부)를 도와주게 하려 함이니라
    
17. ^ㅊ잘 다스리는 長老(장로)들을 ^ㅋ倍(배)나 尊敬(존경)할 者(자)로 알되 말씀과 가르침에 受苦(수고)하는 이들을 더할 것이니라
    
18. 聖經(성경)에 일렀으되 ^ㅌ穀食(곡식)을 밟아 떠는 소의 입에 망을 씌우지 말라 하였고 또 ^ㅍ일군이 그 삯을 받는 것이 마땅하다 하였느니라
    
19. 長老(장로)에 對(대)한 訟事(송사)는 ^ㅎ두 세 證人(증인)이 없으면 받지 말 것이요
    
20. 犯罪(범죄)한 者(자)들을 ^ㅏ모든 사람 앞에 꾸짖어 ^ㅑ나머지 사람으로 두려워 하게 하라
    

16. Si algún fiel ó alguna fiel tiene "viudas," "manténgalas," y no sea gravada la iglesia; á fin de que haya lo suficiente para las que de verdad son viudas.
    
17. Los ancianos que gobiernan "bien," sean tenidos por dignos de doblada honra; mayormente los que trabajan en predicar y enseñar.
    
18. Porque la Escritura dice: No embozarás al buey que trilla; y: Digno es el obrero de su jornal.
    
19. Contra el anciano no recibas acusación sino con dos ó tres testigos.
    
20. A los que "pecaren," repréndelos delante de "todos," para que los otros también teman.
    

16. If any woman who is a believer has widows in her family, she should help them and not let the church be burdened with them, so that the church can help those widows who are really in need.
    
17. The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.
    
18. For the Scripture says, "Do not muzzle the ox while it is treading out the grain," and "The worker deserves his wages."
    
19. Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.
    
20. Those who sin are to be rebuked publicly, so that the others may take warning.
    

21. ^ㅓ하나님과 그리스도 예수와 擇(택)하심을 받은 天使(천사)들 앞에서 내가 嚴(엄)히 命(명)하노니 너는 偏見(편견)이 없이 이것들을 지켜 ^ㅕ아무 일도 偏僻(편벽)되이 하지 말며
    
22. ^ㅗ아무에게나 輕率(경솔)히 ^ㅛ按手(안수)하지 말고 ^ㅜ다른 사람의 罪(죄)에 干涉(간섭)지 말고 네 自身(자신)을 지켜 淨潔(정결)케 하라
    
23. 이제부터는 물만 마시지 말고 ^ㅠ네 脾胃(비위)와 자주 나는 病(병)을 因(인)하여 ^으葡萄酒(포도주)를 조금씩 쓰라
    
24. 어떤 사람들의 罪(죄)는 밝히 드러나 먼저 審判(심판)에 나아가고 어떤 사람들의 罪(죄)는 그 뒤를 좇나니
    
25. 이와 같이 善行(선행)도 밝히 드러나고 ^이그렇지 아니한 것도 숨길 수 없느니라
    

21. Te requiero delante de Dios y del Señor "Jesucristo," y de sus ángeles "escogidos," que guardes estas cosas sin perjuicio de "nadie," que nada hagas inclinándote á la una parte.
    
22. No impongas de ligero las manos á "ninguno," ni comuniques en pecados ajenos: consérvate en limpieza.
    
23. No bebas de aquí adelante "agua," sino usa de un poco de vino por causa del "estómago," y de tus continuas enfermedades.
    
24. Los pecados de algunos "hombres," antes que vengan ellos á "juicio," son manifiestos; mas á otros les vienen después.
    
25. Asimismo las buenas obras antes son manifiestas; y las que son de otra "manera," no pueden esconderse.
    

21. I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism.
    
22. Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
    
23. Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses.
    
24. The sins of some men are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them.
    
25. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not cannot be hidden.
