여호수아(Josué) 9장 [개역한글 : RV1909 : NIV]

1. 요단 西便(서편) ^ㅓ山地(산지)와 平地(평지)와 레바논 앞 ^ㅕ大(대) 海邊(해변)에 있는 ^ㅗ헷 사람과, 아모리 사람과, 가나안 사람과, 브리스 사람과, 히위 사람과, 여부스 사람의 모든 王(왕)이 이 일을 듣고
   
2. 모여서 一心(일심)으로 여호수아와 이스라엘로 더불어 싸우려 하더라
   
3. ^ㅛ기브온 居民(거민)들이 여호수아의 ^ㅜ여리고와 ^ㅠ아이에 行(행)한 일을 듣고
   
4. 꾀를 내어 使臣(사신)의 模樣(모양)을 꾸미되 해어진 纏袋(전대)와 해어지고 찢어져서 기운 가죽 葡萄酒(포도주) 負袋(부대)를 나귀에 싣고
   
5. 그 발에는 낡아 기운 신을 신고 낡은 옷을 입고 다 마르고 곰팡이 난 떡을 豫備(예비)하고
   

1. Y ACONTECIO que como oyeron estas cosas todos los reyes que estaban de esta parte del "Jordán," así en las montañas como en los "llanos," y en toda la costa de la gran mar delante del "Líbano," los "Hetheos," "Amorrheos," "Cananeos," "Pherezeos," "Heveos," y Jebuseos;
   
2. Juntáronse á "una," de un "acuerdo," para pelear contra Josué é Israel.
   
3. Mas los moradores de "Gabaón," como oyeron lo que Josué había hecho á Jericó y á "Hai,"
   
4. Ellos usaron también de astucia; pues fueron y fingiéronse "embajadores," y tomaron sacos viejos sobre sus "asnos," y cueros viejos de "vino," rotos y "remendados,"
   
5. Y zapatos viejos y recosidos en sus "pies," con vestidos viejos sobre sí; y todo el pan que traían para el "camino," seco y mohoso.
   

1. Now when all the kings west of the Jordan heard about these things--those in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the entire coast of the Great Sea as far as Lebanon (the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites)--
   
2. they came together to make war against Joshua and Israel.
   
3. However, when the people of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and Ai,
   
4. they resorted to a ruse: They went as a delegation whose donkeys were loaded with worn-out sacks and old wineskins, cracked and mended.
   
5. The men put worn and patched sandals on their feet and wore old clothes. All the bread of their food supply was dry and moldy.
   

6. 그들이 ^으길갈 陣(진)으로 와서 여호수아에게 이르러 그와 이스라엘 사람들에게 이르되 우리는 遠方(원방)에서 왔나이다 이제 우리와 約條(약조)하사이다
   
7. 이스라엘 사람들이 ^이히위 사람들에게 이르되 너희가 우리 中(중)에 居(거)하는 듯하니 우리가 ^ㅐ어떻게 너희와 約條(약조)할 수 있으랴
   
8. 그들이 여호수아에게 이르되 ^ㄱ우리는 當身(당신)의 종이니이다 여호수아가 그들에게 묻되 너희는 누구며 어디서 왔느뇨
   
9. 그들이 여호수아에게 對答(대답)하되 종들은 當身(당신)의 하나님 여호와의 이름을 因(인)하여 ^ㄴ甚(심)히 먼 地方(지방)에서 왔사오니 이는 ^ㄷ우리가 그의 名聲(명성)과 그가 애굽에서 行(행)하신 모든 일을 들으며
   
10. ^ㄹ또 그가 요단 東便(동편)에 있는 아모리 사람의 두 王(왕) 곧 헤스본 王(왕) 시혼과 ^ㅁ아스다롯에 있는 바산 王(왕) 옥에게 行(행)하신 모든 일을 들었음이니이다
    

6. Así vinieron á Josué al campo en "Gilgal," y dijéronle á él y á los de Israel: Nosotros venimos de tierra muy lejana: haced pues ahora con nosotros alianza.
   
7. Y los de Israel respondieron á los Heveos: Quizás vosotros habitáis en medio de nosotros: ¿cómo pues podremos nosotros hacer alianza con vosotros?
   
8. Y ellos respondieron á Josué: Nosotros somos tus siervos. Y Josué les dijo: ¿Quién sois vosotros y de dónde venís?
   
9. Y ellos respondieron: Tus siervos han venido de muy lejanas "tierras," por la fama de Jehová tu Dios; porque hemos oído su "fama," y todas las cosas que hizo en "Egipto,"
   
10. Y todo lo que hizo á los dos reyes de los Amorrheos que estaban de la otra parte del Jordán; á Sehón rey de "Hesbón," y á Og rey de "Basán," que estaba en Astaroth.
    

6. Then they went to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal and said to him and the men of Israel, "We have come from a distant country; make a treaty with us."
   
7. The men of Israel said to the Hivites, "But perhaps you live near us. How then can we make a treaty with you?"
   
8. "We are your servants," they said to Joshua. But Joshua asked, "Who are you and where do you come from?"
   
9. They answered: "Your servants have come from a very distant country because of the fame of the LORD your God. For we have heard reports of him: all that he did in Egypt,
   
10. and all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan--Sihon king of Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth.
    

11. 그러므로 우리 長老(장로)들과 우리 나라의 모든 居民(거민)이 우리에게 일러 가로되 너희는 旅行(려행)할 糧食(량식)을 손에 가지고 가서 그들을 맞아서 그들에게 이르기를 우리는 當身(당신)들의 종이니 請(청)컨대 이제 우리와 約條(약조)하사이다 하라 하였나이다
    
12. 우리의 이 떡은 우리가 當身(당신)들에게로 오려고 떠나던 날에 우리들의 집에서 오히려 뜨거운 것을 糧食(량식)으로 取(취)하였더니 보소서 이제 말랐고 곰팡이 났으며
    
13. 또 우리가 葡萄酒(포도주)를 담은 이 가죽 負袋(부대)도 새 것이더니 찢어지게 되었으며 우리의 이 옷과 신도 旅行(려행)이 甚(심)히 길므로 因(인)하여 낡아졌나이다 한지라
    
14. 무리가 그들의 糧食(량식)을 取(취)하고 어떻게 할 것을 ^ㅂ여호와께 묻지 아니하고
    
15. 여호수아가 곧 ^ㅅ그들과 和親(화친)하여 그들을 살리리라는 言約(언약)을 맺고 會衆(회중) 族長(족장)들이 그들에게 盟誓(맹서)하였더라
    

11. Por lo cual nuestros ancianos y todos los moradores de nuestra tierra nos dijeron: Tomad en vuestras manos provisión para el "camino," é id al encuentro de "ellos," y decidles: Nosotros somos vuestros "siervos," y haced ahora con nosotros alianza.
    
12. Este nuestro pan tomamos caliente de nuestras casas para el camino el día que salimos para venir á vosotros; y helo aquí ahora que está seco y mohoso:
    
13. Estos cueros de vino también los henchimos nuevos; helos aquí ya rotos: también estos nuestros vestidos y nuestros zapatos están ya viejos á causa de lo muy largo del camino.
    
14. Y los hombres de Israel tomaron de su provisión del "camino," y no preguntaron á la boca de Jehová.
    
15. Y Josué hizo paz con "ellos," y concertó con ellos que les dejaría la vida: también los príncipes de la congregación les juraron.
    

11. And our elders and all those living in our country said to us, 'Take provisions for your journey; go and meet them and say to them, "We are your servants; make a treaty with us." '
    
12. This bread of ours was warm when we packed it at home on the day we left to come to you. But now see how dry and moldy it is.
    
13. And these wineskins that we filled were new, but see how cracked they are. And our clothes and sandals are worn out by the very long journey."
    
14. The men of Israel sampled their provisions but did not inquire of the LORD.
    
15. Then Joshua made a treaty of peace with them to let them live, and the leaders of the assembly ratified it by oath.
    

16. 그들과 言約(언약)을 맺은 後(후) 三日(삼일)이 지나서야 그들은 近隣(근린)에 있어 ^ㅇ自己(자기)들 中(중)에 居住(거주)하는 者(자)라 함을 들으니라
    
17. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 進行(진행)하여 第(제) 三日(삼일)에 그들의 여러 城邑(성읍)에 이르렀으니 ^ㅈ그 城邑(성읍)은 기브온과, 그비라와, 브에롯과, 기럇여아림이라
    
18. 그러나 會衆(회중) 族長(족장)들이 이스라엘 하나님 여호와로 그들에게 盟誓(맹서)한 故(고)로 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 그들을 치지 못한지라 그러므로 會衆(회중)이 다 族長(족장)들을 怨望(원망)하니
    
19. 모든 族長(족장)이 온 會衆(회중)에게 이르되 우리가 이스라엘 하나님 여호와로 그들에게 盟誓(맹서)하였은즉 이제 그들을 건드리지 못하리라
    
20. 우리가 ^ㅊ그들에게 盟誓(맹서)한 盟約(맹약)을 因(인)하여 ^ㅋ震怒(진노)가 우리에게 臨(임)할까 하노니 이렇게 行(행)하여 그들을 살리리라 하고
    

16. Pasados tres días después que hicieron con ellos el "concierto," oyeron como eran sus "vecinos," y que habitaban en medio de ellos.
    
17. Y partiéronse los hijos de "Israel," y al tercer día llegaron á sus ciudades: y sus ciudades eran "Gabaón," "Caphira," "Beeroth," y Chiriath-jearim.
    
18. Y no los hirieron los hijos de "Israel," por cuanto los príncipes de la congregación les habían jurado por Jehová el Dios de Israel. Y toda la congregación murmuraba contra los príncipes.
    
19. Mas todos los príncipes respondieron á toda la congregación: Nosotros les hemos jurado por Jehová Dios de Israel; por "tanto," ahora no les podemos tocar.
    
20. Esto haremos con ellos: les dejaremos "vivir," porque no venga ira sobre nosotros á causa del juramento que les hemos hecho.
    

16. Three days after they made the treaty with the Gibeonites, the Israelites heard that they were neighbors, living near them.
    
17. So the Israelites set out and on the third day came to their cities: Gibeon, Kephirah, Beeroth and Kiriath Jearim.
    
18. But the Israelites did not attack them, because the leaders of the assembly had sworn an oath to them by the LORD, the God of Israel. The whole assembly grumbled against the leaders,
    
19. but all the leaders answered, "We have given them our oath by the LORD, the God of Israel, and we cannot touch them now.
    
20. This is what we will do to them: We will let them live, so that wrath will not fall on us for breaking the oath we swore to them."
    

21. 무리에게 이르되 그들을 살리라 하니 ^ㅌ族長(족장)들이 그들에게 이른대로 그들이 온 會衆(회중)을 爲(위)하여 ^ㅍ나무 패며 물 긷는 者(자)가 되었더라
    
22. 여호수아가 그들을 불러다가 일러 가로되 ^ㅎ너희가 우리 가운데 居住(거주)하거늘 어찌하여 우리는 너희에게서 ^ㅏ甚(심)히 멀다 하여 우리를 속였느냐
    
23. 그러므로 너희가 詛呪(저주)를 받나니 너희가 永永(영영)히 종이 되어서 다 내 하나님의 집을 爲(위)하여 ^ㅑ나무 패며 물 긷는 者(자)가 되리라
    
24. 그들이 여호수아에게 對答(대답)하여 가로되 當身(당신)의 하나님 여호와께서 ^ㅓ그 종 모세에게 命(명)하사 이 땅을 다 當身(당신)들에게 주고 이 땅 모든 居民(거민)을 當身(당신)들의 앞에서 滅(멸)하라 하신 것이 當身(당신)의 종에게 分明(분명)히 들리므로 當身(당신)들을 因(인)하여 우리 生命(생명)을 잃을까 ^ㅕ甚(심)히 두려워 하여 이같이 하였나이다
    
25. 보소서, 이제 우리가 當身(당신)의 손에 있으니 當身(당신)의 意向(의향)에 좋고 옳은대로 우리에게 行(행)하소서 한지라
    

21. Y los príncipes les dijeron: Vivan; mas sean leñadores y aguadores para toda la "congregación," como los príncipes les han dicho.
    
22. Y llamándolos "Josué," les habló diciendo: ¿Por qué nos habéis "engañado," "diciendo," Habitamos muy lejos de vosotros; una vez que moráis en medio de nosotros?
    
23. Vosotros pues ahora sois "malditos," y no faltará de vosotros "siervo," y quien corte la leña y saque el agua para la casa de mi Dios.
    
24. Y ellos respondieron á "Josué," y dijeron: Como fué dado á entender á tus "siervos," que Jehová tu Dios había mandado á Moisés su siervo que os había de dar toda la "tierra," y que había de destruir todos los moradores de la tierra delante de "vosotros," por esto temimos en gran manera de vosotros por nuestras "vidas," é hicimos esto.
    
25. Ahora "pues," henos aquí en tu mano: lo que te pareciere bueno y recto hacer de "nosotros," hazlo.
    

21. They continued, "Let them live, but let them be woodcutters and water carriers for the entire community." So the leaders' promise to them was kept.
    
22. Then Joshua summoned the Gibeonites and said, "Why did you deceive us by saying, 'We live a long way from you,' while actually you live near us?
    
23. You are now under a curse: You will never cease to serve as woodcutters and water carriers for the house of my God."
    
24. They answered Joshua, "Your servants were clearly told how the LORD your God had commanded his servant Moses to give you the whole land and to wipe out all its inhabitants from before you. So we feared for our lives because of you, and that is why we did this.
    
25. We are now in your hands. Do to us whatever seems good and right to you."
    

26. 여호수아가 곧 그대로 그들에게 行(행)하여 그들을 이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 손에서 건져서 죽이지 못하게 하니라
    
27. 그 날에 여호수아가 그들로 ^ㅗ여호와의 擇(택)하신 곳에서 會衆(회중)을 爲(위)하며 여호와의 壇(단)을 爲(위)하여 ^ㅛ나무 패며 물 긷는 者(자)를 삼았더니 오늘까지 이르니라
    

26. Y él lo hizo así; que los libró de la mano de los hijos de "Israel," para que no los matasen.
    
27. Y constituyólos Josué aquel día por leñadores y aguadores para la congregación y para el altar de "Jehová," en el lugar que él escogiese: lo que son hasta hoy.
    

26. So Joshua saved them from the Israelites, and they did not kill them.
    
27. That day he made the Gibeonites woodcutters and water carriers for the community and for the altar of the LORD at the place the LORD would choose. And that is what they are to this day.
