  1. 으마른 떡 한 조각만 있고도 和睦(화목)하는 것이 이肉饍(육선)이 집에 가득하고 다투는 것보다 나으니라
  2. 슬기로운 종은 主人(주인)의 ㅐ부끄러움을 끼치는 아들을 다스리겠고 또 ㄱ그 아들들 中(중)에서 遺業(유업)을 나눠 얻으리라
  3. ㄴ도가니는 銀(은)을, 풀무는 金(금)을 鍊鍛(연단)하거니와 ㄷ여호와는 마음을 鍊鍛(연단)하시느니라
  4. 惡(악)을 行(행)하는 者(자)는 詭詐(궤사)한 입술을 잘 듣고 거짓말을 하는 者(자)는 惡(악)한 혀에 귀를 기울이느니라
  5. 가난한 者(자)를 嘲弄(조롱)하는 者(자)는 ㄹ이를 지으신 主(주)를 蔑視(멸시)하는 者(자)요 ㅁ사람의 災殃(재앙)을 기뻐하는 者(자)는 ㅂ刑罰(형벌)을 免(면)치 못할 者(자)니라

  1. MEJOR es un bocado "seco," y en "paz," Que la casa de contienda llena de víctimas.
  2. El siervo prudente se enseñoreará del hijo que "deshonra," Y entre los hermanos partirá la herencia.
  3. El crisol para la "plata," y la hornaza para el oro: Mas Jehová prueba los corazones.
  4. El malo está atento al labio inicuo; Y el mentiroso escucha á la lengua detractora.
  5. El que escarnece al "pobre," afrenta á su Hacedor: Y el que se alegra en la "calamidad," no quedará sin castigo.
  1. Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.
  2. A wise servant will rule over a disgraceful son, and will share the inheritance as one of the brothers.
  3. The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the LORD tests the heart.
  4. A wicked man listens to evil lips; a liar pays attention to a malicious tongue.
  5. He who mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker; whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished.

  2. 分外(분외)의 말을 하는 것도 ㅈ미련한 者(자)에게 ㅊ合當(합당)치 아니하거든 하물며 ㅋ거짓말을 하는 것이 尊貴(존귀)한 者(자)에게 合當(합당)하겠느냐
  3. ㅌ賂物(뢰물)은 임자의 보기에 寶石(보석) 같은즉 어디로 向(향)하든지 亨通(형통)케 하느니라
  4. ㅍ허물을 덮어 주는 者(자)는 사랑을 求(구)하는 者(자)요 그것을 거듭 말하는 者(자)는 ㅎ親(친)한 벗을 離間(리간)하는 者(자)니라
  5. 한 마디로 聰明(총명)한 者(자)를 警戒(경계)하는 것이 매 百個(백개)로 미련한 者(자)를 때리는 것보다 더욱 깊이 박이느니라

  1. Corona de los viejos son los hijos de los hijos; Y la honra de los "hijos," sus padres.
  2. No conviene al necio la altilocuencia: ¡Cuánto menos al príncipe el labio mentiroso!
  3. Piedra preciosa es el cohecho en ojos de sus dueños: A donde quiera que se "vuelve," da prosperidad.
  4. El que cubre la "prevaricación," busca amistad: Mas el que reitera la "palabra," aparta al amigo.
  5. Aprovecha la reprensión en el "entendido," Más que si cien veces hiriese en el necio.
  1. Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.
  2. Arrogant lips are unsuited to a fool--how much worse lying lips to a ruler!
  3. A bribe is a charm to the one who gives it; wherever he turns, he succeeds.
  4. He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.
  5. A rebuke impresses a man of discernment more than a hundred lashes a fool.
  1. 惡(악)한 者(자)는 叛逆(반역)만 힘쓰나니 그러므로 그에게 ㅏ殘忍(잔인)한 使者(사자)가 보냄을 입으리라
  2. 차라리 ㅑ새끼 빼앗긴 암콤을 만날지언정 ㅓ미련한 일을 行(행)하는 미련한 者(자)를 만나지 말 것이니라
  3. 누구든지 ㅕ惡(악)으로 善(선)을 갚으면 ㅗ惡(악)이 그 집을 떠나지 아니하리라
  4. 다투는 始作(시작)은 防築(방축)에서 물이 새는 것 같은즉 ㅛ싸움이 일어나기 前(전)에 ㅜ是非(시비)를 그칠 것이니라
  5. ㅠ惡人(악인)을 義(의)롭다 하며 으義人(의인)을 惡(악)하다 하는 이 두 者(자)는 다 여호와의 미워하심을 입느니라

  1. An evil man is bent only on rebellion; a merciless official will be sent against him.
  2. Better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool in his folly.
  3. If a man pays back evil for good, evil will never leave his house.
  4. Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out.
  5. Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent--the LORD detests them both.
  1. 미련한 者(자)는 無知(무지)하거늘 손에 값을 가지고 이智慧(지혜)를 사려함은 어찜인고
  2. ㅐ親舊(친구)는 사랑이 끊이지 아니하고 兄弟(형제)는 危急(위급)한 때까지 爲(위)하여 났느니라
  3. 智慧(지혜)없는 者(자)는 ㄱ남의 손을 잡고 그 이웃 앞에서 保證(보증)이 되느니라
  4. 다툼을 좋아하는 者(자)는 罪過(죄과)를 좋아하는 者(자)요 ㄴ自己(자기) 門(문)을 높이는 者(자)는 破壞(파괴)를 求(구)하는 者(자)니라

  1. ¿De qué sirve el precio en la mano del necio para comprar "sabiduría," No teniendo entendimiento?

  3. El hombre falto de entendimiento toca la "mano," Fiando á otro delante de su amigo.
  4. La prevaricación ama el que ama pleito; Y el que alza su "portada," quebrantamiento busca.
  5. El perverso de corazón nunca hallará bien: Y el que revuelve con su "lengua," caerá en mal.
  1. Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no desire to get wisdom?
  2. A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
  3. A man lacking in judgment strikes hands in pledge and puts up security for his neighbor.
  4. He who loves a quarrel loves sin; he who builds a high gate invites destruction.
  5. A man of perverse heart does not prosper; he whose tongue is deceitful falls into trouble.
  1. ㄹ미련한 者(자)를 낳는 者(자)는 근심을 當(당)하나니 미련한 者(자)의 아비는 樂(낙)이 없느니라
  2. ㅁ마음의 즐거움은 良藥(량약)이라도 心靈(심령)의 근심은 ㅂ뼈로 마르게 하느니라
  3. 惡人(악인)은 ㅅ사람의 품에서 賂物(뢰물)을 받고 ㅇ裁判(재판)을 굽게 하느니라

  2. El corazón alegre produce buena disposición: Mas el espíritu triste seca los huesos.

  4. En el rostro del entendido aparece la sabiduría: Mas los ojos del necio vagan hasta el cabo de la tierra.
  5. El hijo necio es enojo á su "padre," Y amargura á la que lo engendró.
  1. To have a fool for a son brings grief; there is no joy for the father of a fool.
  2. A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
  3. A wicked man accepts a bribe in secret to pervert the course of justice.
  4. A discerning man keeps wisdom in view, but a fool's eyes wander to the ends of the earth.
  5. A foolish son brings grief to his father and bitterness to the one who bore him.
  1. ㅌ義人(의인)을 罰(벌)하는 것과 貴人(귀인)을 正直(정직)하다고 때리는 것이 善(선)치 못하니라
  2. ㅍ말을 아끼는 者(자)는 知識(지식)이 있고 性稟(성품)이 安存(안존)한 者(자)는 明哲(명철)하니라
  3. 미련한 者(자)라도 ㅎ潛潛(잠잠)하면 智慧(지혜)로운 者(자)로 여기우고 그 입술을 닫히면 슬기로운 者(자)로 여기우느니라

  1. Ciertamente no es bueno condenar al "justo," Ni herir á los príncipes que hacen lo recto.
  2. Detiene sus dichos el que tiene sabiduría: De prudente espíritu es el hombre entendido.
  3. Aun el necio cuando "calla," es contado por sabio: El que cierra sus labios es entendido.
  1. It is not good to punish an innocent man, or to flog officials for their integrity.
  2. A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered.
  3. Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.
