1. ^ㅅ요시야가 位(위)에 나아갈 때에 나이 八歲(팔세)라 예루살렘에서 三十一年(삼십일년)을 治理(치리)하며
   
2. 여호와 보시기에 正直(정직)히 行(행)하여 그 祖上(조상) 다윗의 길로 行(행)하여 左右(좌우)로 치우치지 아니하고
   
3. 오히려 어렸을 때 곧 位(위)에 있은지 八年(팔년)에 그 祖上(조상) 다윗의 하나님을 비로소 求(구)하고 그 十二年(십이년)에 유다와 예루살렘을 비로소 淨潔(정결)케 하여 그 山堂(산당)과 ^ㅇ아세라 木像(목상)들과 아로새긴 偶像(우상)들과 부어 만든 偶像(우상)들을 除(제)하여 버리매
   
4. 무리가 王(왕)의 앞에서 바알들의 壇(단)을 毁破(훼파)하였으며 王(왕)이 또 그 壇(단) 위에 높이 달린 ^ㅈ太陽像(태양상)들을 찍고 또 아세라 木像(목상)들과 아로새긴 偶像(우상)들과 부어 만든 偶像(우상)들을 빻아 가루를 만들어 거기 祭祀(제사)하던 者(자)들의 무덤에 뿌리고
   
5. ^ㅊ祭司長(제사장)들의 뼈를 壇(단) 위에서 불살라 유다와 예루살렘을 淨潔(정결)케 하였으며
   

1. DE OCHO años era Josías cuando comenzó á "reinar," y treinta y un años reinó en Jerusalem.
   
2. Este hizo lo recto en ojos de "Jehová," y anduvo en los caminos de David su "padre," sin apartarse á la diestra ni á la siniestra.
   
3. A los ocho años de su "reinado," siendo aún "muchacho," comenzó á buscar al Dios de David su padre; y á los doce años comenzó á limpiar á Judá y á Jerusalem de los "altos," "bosques," "esculturas," é imágenes de funŐ˴ Ő˴ ஠̑ 㷰Ȼ Ƹ˴ Ű˴ 䀀 Ű˴ derribaron delante de él los altares de los "Baales," é hizo pedazos las imágenes del "sol," que estaban puestas encima; despedazó también los "bosques," y las esculturas y estatuas de "fundición," y "desmenuzólas," y esparció el polvo sobre los sepulcros de los que las habían sacrificado.
   
4. Quemó además los huesos de los sacerdotes sobre sus "altares," y limpió á Judá y á Jerusalem.
   

1. Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years.
   
2. He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left.
   
3. In the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, he began to seek the God of his father David. In his twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of high places, Asherah poles, carved idols and cast images.
   
4. Under his direction the altars of the Baals were torn down; he cut to pieces the incense altars that were above them, and smashed the Asherah poles, the idols and the images. These he broke to pieces and scattered over the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.
   
5. He burned the bones of the priests on their altars, and so he purged Judah and Jerusalem.
   

6. 또 므낫세와, 에브라임과, 시므온과, 납달리까지 ^ㅋ四面(사면) 荒廢(황폐)한 城邑(성읍)들에도 그렇게 行(행)하여
   
7. 壇(단)들을 毁破(훼파)하며 ^ㅌ아세라 木像(목상)들과 아로새긴 偶像(우상)들을 빻아 가루를 만들며 온 이스라엘 땅에 있는 모든 太陽像(태양상)을 찍고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
   
8. 요시야가 位(위)에 있은지 ^ㅍ十八年(십팔년)에 그 땅과 殿(전)을 淨潔(정결)케 하기를 마치고 그 하나님 여호와의 殿(전)을 修理(수리)하려 하여 아살랴의 아들 사반과, ^ㅎ府尹(부윤) 마아세야와, ^ㅏ書記官(서기관) 요아하스의 아들 요아를 보낸지라
   
9. 저희가 大祭司長(대제사장) ^ㅑ힐기야에게 나아가 前(전)에 하나님의 殿(전)에 捐補(연보)한 돈을 저에게 붙이니 이 돈은 門(문)을 지키는 레위 사람이 므낫세와 에브라임과 남아 있는 이스라엘 사람과 온 유다와 베냐민과 예루살렘 居民(거민)들에게서 거둔 것이라
   
10. 그 돈을 여호와의 殿(전) 役事(역사)를 監督(감독)하는 者(자)의 손에 붙이니 저희가 여호와의 殿(전)에 있는 工匠(공장)에게 주어 그 殿(전)을 修理(수리)하게 하되
    

6. Lo mismo hizo en las ciudades de "Manasés," "Ephraim," y "Simeón," hasta en "Nephtalí," con sus lugares asolados alrededor.
   
7. Y como hubo derribado los altares y los "bosques," y quebrado y desmenuzado las "esculturas," y destruído todos los ídolos por toda la tierra de "Israel," volvióse á Jerusalem.
   
8. A los dieciocho años de su "reinado," después de haber limpiado la "tierra," y la "casa," envió á Saphán hijo de "Asalías," y á Maasías gobernador de la "ciudad," y á Joah hijo de "Joachâz," "canciller," para que reparasen la casa de Jehová su Dios.
   
9. Los cuales vinieron á "Hilcías," gran "sacerdote," y dieron el dinero que había sido metido en la casa de "Jehová," que los Levitas que guardaban la puerta habían recogido de mano de Manasés y de Ephraim y de todas las reliquias de "Israel," y de todo Judá y "Benjamín," habiéndose después vuelto á Jerusalem.
   
10. Y entregáronlo en mano de los que hacían la "obra," que eran sobrestantes en la casa de Jehová; los cuales lo daban á los que hacían la obra y trabajaban en la casa de "Jehová," para reparar y restaurar el templo.
    

6. In the towns of Manasseh, Ephraim and Simeon, as far as Naphtali, and in the ruins around them,
   
7. he tore down the altars and the Asherah poles and crushed the idols to powder and cut to pieces all the incense altars throughout Israel. Then he went back to Jerusalem.
   
8. In the eighteenth year of Josiah's reign, to purify the land and the temple, he sent Shaphan son of Azaliah and Maaseiah the ruler of the city, with Joah son of Joahaz, the recorder, to repair the temple of the LORD his God.
   
9. They went to Hilkiah the high priest and gave him the money that had been brought into the temple of God, which the Levites who were the doorkeepers had collected from the people of Manasseh, Ephraim and the entire remnant of Israel and from all the people of Judah and Benjamin and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
   
10. Then they entrusted it to the men appointed to supervise the work on the LORD'S temple. These men paid the workers who repaired and restored the temple.
    

11. 곧 木手(목수)와 建築(건축)하는 者(자)에게 붙여 다듬은 돌과 連接(련접)하는 나무를 사며 유다 王(왕)들이 ^ㅓ헐어버린 殿(전)들을 爲(위)하여 들보를 만들게 하매
    
12. 그 사람들이 眞實(진실)히 그 일을 하니라 그 監督(감독)은 레위 사람 곧 므라리 子孫(자손) 中(중) 야핫과 오바댜요, 그핫 子孫(자손) 中(중) 스가랴와, 무술람이라 다 그 일을 主掌(주장)하고 ^ㅕ또 音樂(음악)에 익숙한 레위 사람이 함께 하였으며
    
13. 저희가 또 ^ㅗ擔負(담부)하는 者(자)를 管轄(관할)하며 凡百(범백) 工匠(공장)을 董督(동독)하고 어떤 레위 사람은 書記(서기)와 官吏(관리)와 門(문)지기가 되었더라
    
14. 무리가 여호와의 殿(전)에 捐補(연보)한 돈을 꺼낼 때에 祭司長(제사장) 힐기야가 모세의 傳(전)한 여호와의 律法冊(률법책)을 發見(발견)하고
    
15. 書記官(서기관) 사반에게 일러 가로되 내가 여호와의 殿(전)에서 律法冊(률법책)을 發見(발견)하였노라 하고 그 冊(책)을 사반에게 주매
    

11. Daban asimismo á los oficiales y albañiles para que comprasen piedra de "cantería," y madera para las "trabazones," y para entabladura de las "casas," las cuales habían destruído los reyes de Judá.
    
12. Y estos hombres procedían con fidelidad en la obra: y eran sus gobernadores Jahath y "Abdías," Levitas de los hijos de Merari; y Zachârías y Mesullam de los hijos de "Coath," para que activasen la obra; y de los "Levitas," todos los entendidos en instrumentos de música.
    
13. También velaban sobre los "ganapanes," y eran sobrestantes de los que se ocupaban en cualquier clase de obra; y de los Levitas había "esribas," "gobernadores," y porteros.
    
14. Y al sacar el dinero que había sido metido en la casa de "Jehová," Hilcías el sacerdote halló el libro de la ley de Jehová dada por mano de Moisés.
    
15. Y dando cuenta "Hilcías," dijo á Saphán escriba: Yo he hallado el libro de la ley en la casa de Jehová. Y dió Hilcías el libro á Saphán.
    

11. They also gave money to the carpenters and builders to purchase dressed stone, and timber for joists and beams for the buildings that the kings of Judah had allowed to fall into ruin.
    
12. The men did the work faithfully. Over them to direct them were Jahath and Obadiah, Levites descended from Merari, and Zechariah and Meshullam, descended from Kohath. The Levites--all who were skilled in playing musical instruments--
    
13. had charge of the laborers and supervised all the workers from job to job. Some of the Levites were secretaries, scribes and doorkeepers.
    
14. While they were bringing out the money that had been taken into the temple of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found the Book of the Law of the LORD that had been given through Moses.
    
15. Hilkiah said to Shaphan the secretary, "I have found the Book of the Law in the temple of the LORD." He gave it to Shaphan.
    

16. 사반이 冊(책)을 가지고 王(왕)에게 나아가서 復命(복명)하여 가로되 王(왕)께서 종들에게 命(명)하신 것을 종들이 다 遵行(준행)하였나이다
    
17. 또 여호와의 殿(전)에 있던 돈을 쏟아서 監督者(감독자)와 工匠(공장)의 손에 붙였나이다 하고
    
18. 書記官(서기관) 사반이 또 王(왕)에게 告(고)하여 가로되 祭司長(제사장) 힐기야가 내게 冊(책)을 주더이다 하고 사반이 王(왕)의 앞에서 읽으매
    
19. 王(왕)이 律法(률법)의 말씀을 듣자 곧 自己(자기) ^ㅛ옷을 찢더라
    
20. 王(왕)이 힐기야와 사반의 아들 아히감과, 미가의 아들 압돈과, 書記官(서기관) 사반과, 王(왕)의 侍臣(시신) 아사야에게 命(명)하여 가로되
    

16. Y Saphán lo llevó al "rey," y contóle el "negocio," diciendo: Tus siervos han cumplido todo lo que les fué dado á cargo.
    
17. Han reunido el dinero que se halló en la casa de "Jehová," y lo han entregado en mano de los "comisionados," y en mano de los que hacen la obra.
    
18. A más de "esto," declaró Saphán escriba al "rey," diciendo: El sacerdote Hilcías me dió un libro. Y leyó Saphán en él delante del rey.
    
19. Y luego que el rey oyó las palabras de la "ley," rasgó sus vestidos;
    
20. Y mandó á Hilcías y á Ahicam hijo de "Saphán," y á Abdón hijo de "Michâ," y á Saphán "escriba," y á Asaía siervo del "rey," diciendo:
    

16. Then Shaphan took the book to the king and reported to him: "Your officials are doing everything that has been committed to them.
    
17. They have paid out the money that was in the temple of the LORD and have entrusted it to the supervisors and workers."
    
18. Then Shaphan the secretary informed the king, "Hilkiah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king.
    
19. When the king heard the words of the Law, he tore his robes.
    
20. He gave these orders to Hilkiah, Ahikam son of Shaphan, Abdon son of Micah, Shaphan the secretary and Asaiah the king's attendant:
    

21. 너희는 가서 나와 및 이스라엘과 유다의 남은 者(자)를 爲(위)하여 이 發見(발견)한 冊(책)의 말씀에 對(대)하여 여호와께 물으라 우리 列祖(열조)가 여호와의 말씀을 지키지 아니하고 이 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)된 모든 것을 遵行(준행)치 아니하였으므로 여호와께서 ^ㅜ우리에게 쏟으신 震怒(진노)가 크도다
    
22. 이에 힐기야와 王(왕)의 보낸 사람들이 女先知者(여선지자) 훌다에게로 나아가니 저는 하스라의 孫子(손자) 독핫의 아들 禮服(예복)을 主管(주관)하는 살룸의 아내라 예루살렘 둘째 區域(구역)에 居(거)하였더라 저희가 그에게 이 뜻으로 告(고)하매
    
23. 훌다가 저희에게 이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀으로 너희는 너희를 내게 보낸 사람에게 告(고)하기를
    
24. 여호와의 말씀이 내가 이곳과 그 居民(거민)에게 災殃(재앙)을 내리되 곧 유다 王(왕) 앞에서 읽은 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)된 모든 詛呪(저주)대로 하리니
    
25. 이는 이 百姓(백성)이 나를 버리고 ^ㅠ다른 神(신)에게 焚香(분향)하며 그 손의 모든 所爲(소위)로 나의 怒(노)를 激發(격발)하였음이라 그러므로 나의 怒(노)를 이곳에 쏟으매 꺼지지 아니하리라 하라 하셨느니라
    

21. Andad, y consultad á Jehová de "mí," y de las reliquias de Israel y de "Judá," acerca de las palabras del libro que se ha hallado; porque grande es el furor de Jehová que ha caído sobre "nosotros," por cuanto nuestros padres no guardaron la palabra de "Jehová," para hacer conforme á todo lo que está escrito en este libro.
    
22. Entonces Hilcías y los del rey fueron á Hulda "profetisa," mujer de "Sallum," hijo de "Tikvath," hijo de "Hasra," guarda de las "vestimentas," la cual moraba en Jerusalem en la casa de la doctrina; y dijéronle las palabras dichas.
    
23. Y ella respondió: Jehová el Dios de Israel ha dicho así: Decid al varón que os ha enviado á "mí," que así ha dicho Jehová:
    
24. He aquí yo traigo mal sobre este "lugar," y sobre los moradores de "él," y todas las maldiciones que están escritas en el libro que leyeron delante del rey de Judá:
    

21. "Go and inquire of the LORD for me and for the remnant in Israel and Judah about what is written in this book that has been found. Great is the LORD'S anger that is poured out on us because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD; they have not acted in accordance with all that is written in this book."
    
22. Hilkiah and those the king had sent with him went to speak to the prophetess Huldah, who was the wife of Shallum son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem, in the Second District.
    
23. She said to them, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me,
    
24. 'This is what the LORD says: I am going to bring disaster on this place and its people--all the curses written in the book that has been read in the presence of the king of Judah.
    
25. Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and provoked me to anger by all that their hands have made, my anger will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.'
    

26. 너희를 보내어 여호와께 묻게 한 유다 王(왕)에게는 너희가 이렇게 告(고)하라 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀이 네가 들은 말을 議論(의논)컨대
    
27. 내가 이곳과 그 居民(거민)을 가리켜 말한 것을 네가 듣고 마음이 連(연)하여 하나님 앞 곧 내 앞에서 兼備(겸비)하여 옷을 찢고 痛哭(통곡)하였으므로 나도 네 말을 들었노라 여호와가 말하였느니라
    
28. 그러므로 내가 너로 너의 列祖(열조)에게 돌아가서 平安(평안)히 墓室(묘실)로 들어가게 하리니 내가 이곳과 그 居民(거민)에게 내리는 모든 災殃(재앙)을 네가 눈으로 보지 못하리라 하셨느니라 使者(사자)들이 王(왕)에게 復命(복명)하니라
    
29. ^으王(왕)이 보내어 유다와 예루살렘의 모든 長老(장로)를 불러 모으고
    
30. 이에 여호와의 殿(전)에 올라가매 유다 모든 사람과 예루살렘 居民(거민)과 祭司長(제사장)들과 레위 사람들과 모든 百姓(백성)이 無論(무론) 老少(로소)하고 다 함께한지라 王(왕)이 여호와의 殿(전) 안에서 發見(발견)한 言約冊(언약책)의 모든 말씀을 읽어 무리의 귀에 들리고
    

26. Mas al rey de "Judá," que os ha enviado á consultar á "Jehová," así le diréis: Jehová el Dios de Israel ha dicho así: Por cuanto oiste las palabras del "libro,"
    
27. Y tu corazón se "enterneció," y te humillaste delante de Dios al oir sus palabras sobre este "lugar," y sobre sus "moradores," y te humillaste delante de "mí," y rasgaste tus "vestidos," y lloraste en mi "presencia," yo también te he "oído," dice Jehová.
    
28. He aquí que yo te recogeré con tus "padres," y serás recogido en tus sepulcros en "paz," y tus ojos no verán todo el mal que yo traigo sobre este "lugar," y sobre los moradores de él. Y ellos refirieron al rey la respuesta.
    
29. Entonces el rey envió y juntó todos los ancianos de Judá y de Jerusalem.
    
30. Y subió el rey á la casa de "Jehová," y con él todos los varones de "Judá," y los moradores de "Jerusalem," y los "sacerdotes," y los "Levitas," y todo el pueblo desde el mayor hasta el más pequeño; y leyó á oídos de ellos todas las palabras del libro del pacto que había sido hallado en la casa de Jehová.
    

26. Tell the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, 'This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard:
    
27. Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before God when you heard what he spoke against this place and its people, and because you humbled yourself before me and tore your robes and wept in my presence, I have heard you, declares the LORD.
    
28. Now I will gather you to your fathers, and you will be buried in peace. Your eyes will not see all the disaster I am going to bring on this place and on those who live here.'" So they took her answer back to the king.
    
29. Then the king called together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.
    
30. He went up to the temple of the LORD with the men of Judah, the people of Jerusalem, the priests and the Levites--all the people from the least to the greatest. He read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant, which had been found in the temple of the LORD.
    

31. 王(왕)이 自己(자기) ^이處所(처소)에 서서 여호와 앞에서 ^ㅐ言約(언약)을 세우되 마음을 다하고 性稟(성품)을 다하여 여호와를 順從(순종)하고 그 誡命(계명)과 法度(법도)와 律例(율례)를 지켜 이 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)된 言約(언약)의 말씀을 이루리라 하고
    
32. 예루살렘과 베냐민에 있는 者(자)들로 다 이에 參加(참가)하게 하매 예루살렘 居民(거민)이 하나님 곧 그 列祖(열조)의 하나님의 言約(언약)을 좇으니라
    
33. 이와 같이 요시야가 이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게 屬(속)한 모든 땅에서 ^ㄱ可憎(가증)한 것을 다 除(제)하여 버리고 이스라엘의 모든 사람으로 그 하나님 여호와를 섬기게 하였으므로 요시야가 사는 날에 百姓(백성)이 그 列祖(열조)의 하나님 여호와께 服從(복종)하고 떠나지 아니하였더라
    

31. Y estando el rey en pie en su "sitio," hizo alianza delante de Jehová de caminar en pos de "Jehová," y de guardar sus "mandamientos," sus "testimonios," y sus "estatutos," de todo su corazón y de toda su "alma," poniendo por obra las palabras del pacto que estaban escritas en aquel libro.
    
32. E hizo que se obligaran á ello todos los que estaban en Jerusalem y en Benjamín: y los moradores de Jerusalem hicieron conforme al pacto de "Dios," del Dios de sus padres.
    
33. Y quitó Josías todas las abominaciones de todas las tierras de los hijos de "Israel," é hizo á todos los que se hallaron en Israel que sirviesen á Jehová su Dios. No se apartaron de en pos de Jehová el Dios de sus "padres," todo el tiempo que él vivió.
    

31. The king stood by his pillar and renewed the covenant in the presence of the LORD--to follow the LORD and keep his commands, regulations and decrees with all his heart and all his soul, and to obey the words of the covenant written in this book.
    
32. Then he had everyone in Jerusalem and Benjamin pledge themselves to it; the people of Jerusalem did this in accordance with the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.
    
33. Josiah removed all the detestable idols from all the territory belonging to the Israelites, and he had all who were present in Israel serve the LORD their God. As long as he lived, they did not fail to follow the LORD, the God of their fathers.
