- 에브라임의 勇士(용사) 시그리는 王(왕)의 아들 마아세야와 宮內(궁내) 大臣(대신) 아스리감과 總理(총리) 大臣(대신) 엘가나를 죽였더라
- 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 그 ㅜ兄弟(형제) 中(중)에서 그 아내와 子女(자녀) 合(합)하여 二十萬名(이십만명)을 사로잡고 그 財物(재물)을 많이 擄略(노략)하여 사마리아로 가져가니
- 그곳에 여호와의 先知者(선지자)가 있는데 이름은 오뎃이라 저가 사마리아로 돌아오는 軍隊(군대)를 迎接(영접)하고 저희에게 이르되 너희 列祖(열조)의 하나님 여호와께서 ㅠ유다를 震怒(진노)하신 故(고)로 너희 손에 붙이셨거늘 너희 으怒氣(노기)가 衝天(충천)하여 殺戮(살륙)하고
- 이제 너희가 또 유다와 예루살렘 百姓(백성)들을 壓制(압제)하여 奴隸(노예)를 삼고자 생각하는도다 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와께 犯罪(범죄)함이 없느냐

- And now you intend to make the men and women of Judah and Jerusalem your slaves. But aren't you also guilty of sins against the LORD your God?
