  1. 그 後(후)에 유다가 自己(자기) 兄弟(형제)에게서 내려가서 ㅑ아둘람 사람 히라에게로 ㅓ나아가니라
  2. 유다가 거기서 가나안 사람 ㅕ수아라 하는 者(자)의 딸을 보고 그를 取(취)하여 同寢(동침)하니
  3. 그가 孕胎(잉태)하여 아들을 낳으매 유다가 그 이름을 ㅗ엘이라 하니라
  4. 그가 다시 孕胎(잉태)하여 아들을 낳고 그 이름을 오난이라 하고
  5. 그가 또 다시 아들을 낳고 그 이름을 셀라라 하니라 그가 셀라를 낳을 때에 유다는 거십에 있었더라

  1. Y ACONTECIO en aquel "tiempo," que Judá descendió de con sus "hermanos," y fuése á un varón "Adullamita," que se llamaba Hira.
  2. Y vió allí Judá la hija de un hombre "Cananeo," el cual se llamaba Súa; y "tomóla," y entró á ella:
  3. La cual "concibió," y parió un hijo; y llamó su nombre Er.
  4. Y concibió otra "vez," y parió un "hijo," y llamó su nombre Onán.
  5. Y volvió á "concebir," y parió un "hijo," y llamó su nombre Sela. Y estaba en Chezib cuando lo parió.
  1. At that time, Judah left his brothers and went down to stay with a man of Adullam named Hirah.
  2. There Judah met the daughter of a Canaanite man named Shua. He married her and lay with her;
  3. she became pregnant and gave birth to a son, who was named Er.
  4. She conceived again and gave birth to a son and named him Onan.
  5. She gave birth to still another son and named him Shelah. It was at Kezib that she gave birth to him.
  1. 유다가 長子(장자) 엘을 爲(위)하여 아내를 取(취)하니 그 이름은 다말이더라
  2. 유다의 長子(장자) 엘이 ㅛ여호와 目前(목전)에 惡(악)하므로 여호와께서 그를 죽이신지라
  3. 유다가 오난에게 이르되 네 ㅜ兄嫂(형수)에게로 ㅠ들어가서 男便(남편)의 아우의 本分(본분)을 行(행)하여 네 兄(형)을 取(취)하여 씨가 있게 하라
  4. 오난이 그 씨가 自己(자기) 것이 되지 않을 줄 알므로 兄嫂(형수)에게 들어갔을 때에 兄(형)에게 아들을 얻게 아니하려고 땅에 泄精(설정)하매
  5. 그 일이 여호와 目前(목전)에 惡(악)하므로 여호와께서 그도 죽이시니

  1. Y Judá tomó mujer para su primogénito "Er," la cual se llamaba Thamar.
  2. Y "Er," el primogénito de "Judá," fué malo á los ojos de "Jehová," y quitóle Jehová la vida.
  3. Entonces Judá dijo á Onán: Entra á la mujer de tu "hermano," y despósate con "ella," y suscita simiente á tu hermano.
  4. Y sabiendo Onán que la simiente no había de ser "suya," sucedía que cuando entraba á la mujer de su hermano vertía en "tierra," por no dar simiente á su hermano.
  5. Y desagradó en ojos de Jehová lo que "hacía," y también quitó á él la vida.
  1. Judah got a wife for Er, his firstborn, and her name was Tamar.
  2. But Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the LORD'S sight; so the LORD put him to death.
  3. Then Judah said to Onan, "Lie with your brother's wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to produce offspring for your brother."
  4. But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so whenever he lay with his brother's wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from producing offspring for his brother.
  5. What he did was wicked in the LORD'S sight; so he put him to death also.
  1. 유다가 그 며느리 다말에게 이르되 으守節(수절)하고 네 아비 집에 있어서 내 아들 셀라가 長成(장성)하기를 기다리라 하니 셀라도 그 兄(형)들 같이 죽을까 念慮(념려)함이라 다말이 가서 이그 아비 집에 있으니라
  2. 얼마 後(후)에 유다의 아내 수아의 딸이 죽은지라 유다가 ㅐ慰勞(위로)를 받은 後(후)에 그 親舊(친구) 아둘람 사람 히라와 함께 ㄱ딤나로 올라가서 自己(자기) 羊(양)털 깍는 者(자)에게 이르렀더니
  3. 或(혹)이 다말에게 告(고)하되 네 媤父(시부)가 自己(자기) 羊(양)털을 깎으려고 딤나에 올라왔다 한지라
  4. 그가 그 寡婦(과부)의 衣服(의복)을 벗고 ㄴ면박으로 얼굴을 가리고 몸을 휩싸고 딤나 길 곁 ㄷ에나임 門(문)에 앉으니 이는 셀라가 長成(장성)함을 보았어도 ㄹ自己(자기)를 그의 아내로 주지 않음을 因(인)함이라
  5. 그가 얼굴을 가리웠으므로 유다가 그를 보고 娼女(창녀)로 여겨

  1. Y Judá dijo á Thamar su nuera: Estáte viuda en casa de tu "padre," hasta que crezca Sela mi hijo; porque dijo: Que quizá no muera él también como sus hermanos. Y fuése "Thamar," y estúvose en casa de su padre.
  2. Y pasaron muchos "días," y murió la hija de "Súa," mujer de Judá; y Judá se "consoló," y subía á los trasquiladores de sus ovejas á "Timnath," él y su amigo Hira el Adullamita.
  3. Y fué dado aviso á "Thamar," diciendo: He aquí tu suegro sube á Timnath á trasquilar sus ovejas.
  4. Entonces quitó ella de sobre sí los vestidos de su "viudez," y cubrióse con un "velo," y "arrebozóse," y se puso á la puerta de las aguas que están junto al camino de Timnath; porque veía que había crecido "Sela," y ella no era dada á él por mujer.
  5. Y vióla "Judá," y túvola por "ramera," porque había ella cubierto su rostro.
  1. Judah then said to his daughter-in-law Tamar, "Live as a widow in your father's house until my son Shelah grows up." For he thought, "He may die too, just like his brothers." So Tamar went to live in her father's house.
  2. After a long time Judah's wife, the daughter of Shua, died. When Judah had recovered from his grief, he went up to Timnah, to the men who were shearing his sheep, and his friend Hirah the Adullamite went with him.
  3. When Tamar was told, "Your father-in-law is on his way to Timnah to shear his sheep,"
  4. she took off her widow's clothes, covered herself with a veil to disguise herself, and then sat down at the entrance to Enaim, which is on the road to Timnah. For she saw that, though Shelah had now grown up, she had not been given to him as his wife.
  5. When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute, for she had covered her face.
  1. 길곁으로 그에게 나아가 가로되 請(청)컨대 나로 네게 들어가게 하라 하니 그 子婦(자부)인줄 알지 못하였음이라 그가 가로되 當身(당신)이 무엇을 주고 내게 들어 오려느냐
  2. 유다가 가로되 내가 내 떼에서 염소 새끼를 주리라 그가 가로되 當身(당신)이 그것을 줄 때까지 約條物(약조물)을 주겠느냐
  3. 유다가 가로되 무슨 約條物(약조물)을 네게 주랴 그가 가로되 ㅁ當身(당신)의 圖章(도장)과 그 끈과 當身(당신)의 손에 있는 지팡이로 하라 유다가 그것들을 그에게 주고 그에게로 들어갔더니 그가 유다로 말미암아 孕胎(잉태)하였더라
  4. 그가 일어나 떠나가서 그 ㅂ면박을 벗고 寡婦(과부)의 衣服(의복)을 도로 입으니라
  5. 유다가 그 親舊(친구) 아둘람 사람의 손에 付託(부탁)하여 염소 새끼를 보내고 그 女人(녀인)의 손에서 約條物(약조물)을 찾으려 하였으나 그가 그 女人(녀인)을 찾지 못한지라

  1. Y apartóse del camino hacia "ella," y díjole: "Ea," "pues," ahora entraré á ti; porque no sabía que era su nuera; y ella dijo: ¿Qué me has de "dar," si entrares á mí?
  2. El respondió: Yo te enviaré del ganado un cabrito de las cabras. Y ella dijo: Hasme de dar prenda hasta que lo envíes.
  3. Entonces él dijo: ¿Qué prenda te daré? Ella respondió: Tu "anillo," y tu "manto," y tu bordón que tienes en tu mano. Y él se los "dió," y entró á "ella," la cual concibió de él.
  4. Y "levantóse," y fuése: y quitóse el velo de sobre "sí," y vistióse las ropas de su viudez.
  5. Y Judá envió el cabrito de las cabras por mano de su amigo el "Adullamita," para que tomase la prenda de mano de la mujer; mas no la halló.
  1. Not realizing that she was his daughter-in-law, he went over to her by the roadside and said, "Come now, let me sleep with you." "And what will you give me to sleep with you?" she asked.
  2. "I'll send you a young goat from my flock," he said. "Will you give me something as a pledge until you send it?" she asked.
  3. He said, "What pledge should I give you?" "Your seal and its cord, and the staff in your hand," she answered. So he gave them to her and slept with her, and she became pregnant by him.
  4. After she left, she took off her veil and put on her widow's clothes again.
  5. Meanwhile Judah sent the young goat by his friend the Adullamite in order to get his pledge back from the woman, but he did not find her.
  1. 그가 그곳 사람에게 물어 가로되 길곁 ㅅ에나임에 있던 娼女(창녀)가 어디 있느냐 그들이 가로되 여기는 娼女(창녀)가 없느니라
  2. 그가 유다에게로 돌아와 가로되 내가 그를 찾지 못하고 그곳 사람도 이르기를 여기는 娼女(창녀)가 없다 하더라
  3. 유다가 가로되 그로 그것을 가지게 두라 우리가 부끄러움을 當(당)할까 하노라 내가 이 염소 새끼를 보내었으나 그대가 그를 찾지 못하였느니라
  4. 석달쯤 後(후)에 或(혹)이 유다에게 告(고)하여 가로되 네 며느리 다말이 行淫(행음)하였고 그 ㅇ行淫(행음)함을 因(인)하여 孕胎(잉태)하였느니라 유다가 가로되 그를 끌어 내어 ㅈ불사르라
  5. 女人(녀인)이 끌려 나갈 때에 보내어 媤父(시부)에게 이르되 이 物件(물건) 임자로 말미암아 孕胎(잉태)하였나이다 請(청)컨대 보소서, ㅊ이 圖章(도장)과 그 끈과 지팡이가 뉘 것이니이까 한지라

  1. Y preguntó á los hombres de aquel "lugar," diciendo: ¿Dónde está la ramera de las aguas junto al camino? Y ellos le dijeron: No ha estado aquí ramera.
  2. Entonces él se volvió á "Judá," y dijo: No la he hallado; y también los hombres del lugar dijeron: Aquí no ha estado ramera.
  3. Y Judá dijo: Tómeselo para "sí," porque no seamos menospreciados: he aquí yo he enviado este "cabrito," y tú no la hallaste.
  4. Y acaeció que al cabo de unos tres meses fué dado aviso á "Judá," diciendo: Thamar tu nuera ha "fornicado," y aun cierto está preñada de las fornicaciones. Y Judá dijo: "Sacadla," y sea quemada.
  5. Y ella cuando la "sacaban," envió á decir á su suegro: Del varón cuyas son estas "cosas," estoy preñada: y dijo más: Mira ahora cuyas son estas "cosas," el "anillo," y el "manto," y el bordón.
  1. He asked the men who lived there, "Where is the shrine prostitute who was beside the road at Enaim?" "There hasn't been any shrine prostitute here," they said.
  2. So he went back to Judah and said, "I didn't find her. Besides, the men who lived there said, 'There hasn't been any shrine prostitute here.'"
  3. Then Judah said, "Let her keep what she has, or we will become a laughingstock. After all, I did send her this young goat, but you didn't find her."
  4. About three months later Judah was told, "Your daughter-in-law Tamar is guilty of prostitution, and as a result she is now pregnant." Judah said, "Bring her out and have her burned to death!"
  5. As she was being brought out, she sent a message to her father-in-law. "I am pregnant by the man who owns these," she said. And she added, "See if you recognize whose seal and cord and staff these are."
  1. 유다가 그것들을 알아보고 가로되 ㅋ그는 나보다 옳도다 내가 그를 ㅌ내 아들 셀라에게 주지 아니하였음이로다 하고 다시는 그를 가까이 하지 아니하였더라
  2. 臨産(임산)하여 보니 雙胎(쌍태)라
  3. 解産(해산)할 때에 손이 나오는지라 産婆(산파)가 가로되 이는 먼저 나온 者(자)라 하고 홍사를 가져 그 손에 매었더니
  4. 그 손을 도로 들이며 그 兄弟(형제)가 나오는지라 産婆(산파)가 가로되 네가 어찌하여 터치고 나오느냐 한故(고)로 그 이름을 ㅍ베레스라 불렀고
  5. 그 兄弟(형제) 곧 손에 홍사 있는 者(자)가 뒤에 나오니 그 이름을 세라라 불렀더라

  1. Entonces Judá los "reconoció," y dijo: Más justa es que "yo," por cuanto no la he dado á Sela mi hijo. Y nunca más la conoció.
  2. Y aconteció que al tiempo del "parir," he aquí había dos en su vientre.
  3. Y "sucedió," cuando "paría," que sacó la mano el "uno," y la partera tomó y ató á su mano un hilo de "grana," diciendo: Este salió primero.
  4. Empero fué que tornando él á meter la "mano," he aquí su hermano salió; y ella dijo: ¿Por qué has hecho sobre ti rotura? Y llamó su nombre Phares.
  5. Y después salió su "hermano," el que tenía en su mano el hilo de "grana," y llamó su nombre Zara.
  1. Judah recognized them and said, "She is more righteous than I, since I wouldn't give her to my son Shelah." And he did not sleep with her again.
  2. When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb.
  3. As she was giving birth, one of them put out his hand; so the midwife took a scarlet thread and tied it on his wrist and said, "This one came out first."
  4. But when he drew back his hand, his brother came out, and she said, "So this is how you have broken out!" And he was named Perez.
  5. Then his brother, who had the scarlet thread on his wrist, came out and he was given the name Zerah.
