창세기(Génesis) 23장 [개역한글 : RV1909 : NIV]

1. 사라가 一百(일백) 二十七歲(이십칠세)를 살았으니 이것이 곧 사라의 享年(향년)이라
   
2. 사라가 가나안 땅 헤브론 곧 ^ㅐ기럇아르바에서 죽으매 ^ㄱ아브라함이 들어가서 사라를 爲(위)하여 슬퍼하며 哀痛(애통)하다가
   
3. 그 屍體(시체) 앞에서 일어나 나가서 헷 族屬(족속)에게 말하여 가로되
   
4. ^ㄴ나는 當身(당신)들 中(중)에 나그네요, 寓居(우거)한 者(자)니 請(청)컨대 當身(당신)들 中(중)에서 내게 埋葬地(매장지)를 주어 ^ㄷ所有(소유)를 삼아 나로 내 죽은 者(자)를 내어 葬事(장사)하게 하시오
   
5. 헷 族屬(족속)이 아브라함에게 對答(대답)하여 가로되
   

1. Y FUÉ la vida de Sara ciento veintisiete años: tantos fueron los años de la vida de Sara.
   
2. Y murió Sara en "Kiriath-arba," que es "Hebrón," en la tierra de Canaán: y vino Abraham á hacer el duelo á Sara y á llorarla.
   
3. Y levantóse Abraham de delante de su "muerto," y habló á los hijos de "Heth," diciendo:
   
4. Peregrino y advenedizo soy entre vosotros; dadme heredad de sepultura con "vosotros," y sepultaré mi muerto de delante de mí.
   
5. Y respondieron los hijos de Heth á "Abraham," y dijéronle:
   

1. Sarah lived to be a hundred and twenty-seven years old.
   
2. She died at Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham went to mourn for Sarah and to weep over her.
   
3. Then Abraham rose from beside his dead wife and spoke to the Hittites. He said,
   
4. "I am an alien and a stranger among you. Sell me some property for a burial site here so I can bury my dead."
   
5. The Hittites replied to Abraham,
   

6. 내 主(주)여, 들으소서 當身(당신)은 우리 中(중) 하나님의 方伯(방백)이시니 우리 墓室(묘실) 中(중)에서 좋은 것을 擇(택)하여 當身(당신)의 죽은 者(자)를 葬事(장사)하소서 우리 中(중)에서 自己(자기) 墓室(묘실)에 當身(당신)의 죽은 者(자) 葬事(장사)함을 禁(금)할 者(자)가 없으리이다
   
7. 아브라함이 일어나 그 땅 居民(거민) 헷 族屬(족속)을 向(향)하여 몸을 굽히고
   
8. 그들에게 말하여 가로되 나로 나의 죽은 者(자)를 내어 葬事(장사)하게 하는 일이 當身(당신)들의 뜻일진대 내 말을 듣고 나를 爲(위)하여 소할의 아들 에브론에게 求(구)하여
   
9. 그로 그 밭머리에 있는 막벨라 窟(굴)을 내게 주게 하되 準價(준가)를 받고 그 窟(굴)을 내게 주어서 當身(당신)들 中(중)에 내 所有(소유) 埋葬地(매장지)가 되게 하기를 願(원)하노라
   
10. 때에 에브론이 헷 族屬(족속) 中(중)에 앉았더니 그가 헷 族屬(족속) 곧 ^ㄹ城門(성문)에 들어온 모든 者(자)의 듣는데 아브라함에게 對答(대답)하여 가로되
    

6. Oyenos, señor "mío," eres un príncipe de Dios entre nosotros; en lo mejor de nuestras sepulturas sepulta á tu muerto; ninguno de nosotros te impedirá su "sepultura," para que entierres tu muerto.
   
7. Y Abraham se "levantó," é inclinóse al pueblo de aquella "tierra," á los hijos de Heth;
   
8. Y habló con "ellos," diciendo: Si tenéis voluntad que yo sepulte mi muerto de delante de "mí," "oidme," é interceded por mí con "Ephrón," hijo de "Zohar,"
   
9. Para que me dé la cueva de "Macpela," que tiene al cabo de su heredad: que por su justo precio me la "dé," para posesión de sepultura en medio de vosotros.
   
10. Este Ephrón hallábase entre los hijos de Heth: y respondió Ephrón Hetheo á "Abraham," en oídos de los hijos de "Heth," de todos los que entraban por la puerta de su "ciudad," diciendo:
    

6. "Sir, listen to us. You are a mighty prince among us. Bury your dead in the choicest of our tombs. None of us will refuse you his tomb for burying your dead."
   
7. Then Abraham rose and bowed down before the people of the land, the Hittites.
   
8. He said to them, "If you are willing to let me bury my dead, then listen to me and intercede with Ephron son of Zohar on my behalf
   
9. so he will sell me the cave of Machpelah, which belongs to him and is at the end of his field. Ask him to sell it to me for the full price as a burial site among you."
   
10. Ephron the Hittite was sitting among his people and he replied to Abraham in the hearing of all the Hittites who had come to the gate of his city.
    

11. 내 主(주)여, 그리 마시고 내 말을 들으소서 내가 그 밭을 當身(당신)께 드리되 내가 내 同族(동족) 앞에서 當身(당신)께 드리고 그 속의 窟(굴)도 내가 當身(당신)께 드리되 내가 내 同族(동족) 앞에서 當身(당신)께 드리오니 當身(당신)의 죽은 者(자)를 葬事(장사)하소서
    
12. 아브라함이 이에 그 땅 百姓(백성)을 對(대)하여 몸을 굽히고
    
13. 그 땅 百姓(백성)의 듣는데 에브론에게 말하여 가로되 當身(당신)이 合當(합당)히 여기면 請(청)컨대 내 말을 들으시오 내가 그 밭값을 當身(당신)에게 주리니 當身(당신)은 내게서 받으시오 내가 나의 죽은 者(자)를 거기 葬事(장사)하겠노라
    
14. 에브론이 아브라함에게 對答(대답)하여 가로되
    
15. 내 主(주)여, 내게 들으소서 땅^ㅁ값은 銀(은) 四百(사백) 세겔이나 나와 當身(당신) 사이에 어찌 較計(교계)하리이까 當身(당신)의 죽은 者(자)를 葬事(장사)하소서
    

11. No, señor "mío," óyeme: te doy la "heredad," y te doy también la cueva que está en ella; delante de los hijos de mi pueblo te la doy; sepulta tu muerto.
    
12. Y Abraham se inclinó delante del pueblo de la tierra.
    
13. Y respondió á Ephrón en oídos del pueblo de la "tierra," diciendo: "Antes," si te "place," ruégote que me oigas; yo daré el precio de la "heredad," tómalo de "mí," y sepultaré en ella mi muerto.
    
14. Y respondió Ephrón á "Abraham," diciéndole:
    
15. Señor "mío," escúchame: la tierra vale cuatrocientos siclos de plata: ¿qué es esto entre mí y ti? entierra pues tu muerto.
    

11. "No, my lord," he said. "Listen to me; I give you the field, and I give you the cave that is in it. I give it to you in the presence of my people. Bury your dead."
    
12. Again Abraham bowed down before the people of the land
    
13. and he said to Ephron in their hearing, "Listen to me, if you will. I will pay the price of the field. Accept it from me so I can bury my dead there."
    
14. Ephron answered Abraham,
    
15. "Listen to me, my lord; the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver, but what is that between me and you? Bury your dead."
    

16. 아브라함이 에브론의 말을 좇아 에브론이 헷 族屬(족속)의 듣는데서 말한 대로 商賈(상고)의 通用(통용)하는 銀(은) 四百(사백) 세겔을 ^ㅂ달아 에브론에게 주었더니
    
17. 마므레 앞 막벨라에 있는 ^ㅅ에브론의 밭을 바꾸어 그 속의 窟(굴)과 그 四方(사방)에 둘린 樹木(수목)을 다
    
18. 城門(성문)에 들어온 헷 族屬(족속) 앞에서 아브라함의 所有(소유)로 定(정)한지라
    
19. 그 後(후)에 아브라함이 그 아내 사라를 가나안 땅 마므레 앞 막벨라 밭 窟(굴)에 葬事(장사)하였더라 마므레는 곧 헤브론이라
    
20. 이와 같이 그 밭과 그 속의 窟(굴)을 헷 族屬(족속)이 ^ㅇ아브라함 所有(소유) 埋葬地(매장지)로 定(정)하였더라
    

16. Entonces Abraham se convino con "Ephrón," y pesó Abraham á Ephrón el dinero que "dijo," oyéndolo los hijos de "Heth," cuatrocientos siclos de "plata," de buena ley entre mercaderes.
    
17. Y quedó la heredad de Ephrón que estaba en Macpela enfrente de "Mamre," la heredad y la cueva que estaba en "ella," y todos los árboles que había en la "heredad," y en todo su término al "derredor,"
    
18. Por de Abraham en "posesión," á vista de los hijos de "Heth," y de todos los que entraban por la puerta de la ciudad.
    
19. Y después de esto sepultó Abraham á Sara su mujer en la cueva de la heredad de Macpela enfrente de "Mamre," que es Hebrón en la tierra de Canaán.
    
20. Y quedó la heredad y la cueva que en ella "había," por de "Abraham," en posesión de sepultura adquirida de los hijos de Heth.
    

16. Abraham agreed to Ephron's terms and weighed out for him the price he had named in the hearing of the Hittites: four hundred shekels of silver, according to the weight current among the merchants.
    
17. So Ephron's field in Machpelah near Mamre--both the field and the cave in it, and all the trees within the borders of the field--was deeded
    
18. to Abraham as his property in the presence of all the Hittites who had come to the gate of the city.
    
19. Afterward Abraham buried his wife Sarah in the cave in the field of Machpelah near Mamre (which is at Hebron) in the land of Canaan.
    
20. So the field and the cave in it were deeded to Abraham by the Hittites as a burial site.
