1. ^ㅂ이스라엘 王(왕) 여호아하스의 아들 요아스 ^ㅅ二年(이년)에 유다 王(왕) 요아스의 아들 ^ㅇ아마샤가 王(왕)이 되니
   
2. 位(위)에 나아갈 때에 나이 二十五歲(이십오세)라 예루살렘에서 二十九(이십구) 年(년)을 治理(치리)하니라 그 母親(모친)의 이름은 여호앗단이라 예루살렘 사람이더라
   
3. 아마샤가 여호와 보시기에 正直(정직)히 行(행)하였으나 그 祖上(조상) 다윗과는 같지 아니하였으며 그 父親(부친) 요아스의 行(행)한 대로 다 行(행)하였어도
   
4. ^ㅈ山堂(산당)을 除(제)하지 아니하였으므로 ^ㅊ百姓(백성)이 오히려 山堂(산당)에서 祭祀(제사)를 드리며 焚香(분향)하였더라
   
5. 나라가 그 손에 ^ㅋ굳게 서매 ^ㅌ그 父王(부왕)을 죽인 信服(신복)들을 죽였으나
   

1. EN el año segundo de Joas hijo de Joachâz rey de "Israel," comenzó á reinar Amasías hijo de Joas rey de Judá.
   
2. Cuando comenzó á reinar era de veinticinco "años," y veintinueve años reinó en Jerusalem: el nombre de su madre fué "Joaddan," de Jerusalem.
   
3. Y él hizo lo recto en ojos de "Jehová," aunque no como David su padre: hizo conforme á todas las cosas que había hecho Joas su padre.
   
4. Con todo eso los altos no fueron quitados; que el pueblo aun sacrificaba y quemaba perfumes en los altos.
   
5. Y luego que el reino fué confirmado en su "mano," hirió á sus "siervos," los 므̇ 므̇ 亠̔ 鲀ˣ 밨̇ 믠̇ 䀀 믠̇ >

1. In the second year of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel, Amaziah son of Joash king of Judah began to reign.
   
2. He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-nine years. His mother's name was Jehoaddin; she was from Jerusalem.
   
3. He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, but not as his father David had done. In everything he followed the example of his father Joash.
   
4. The high places, however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.
   
5. After the kingdom was firmly in his grasp, he executed the officials who had murdered his father the king.
   

6. 王(왕)을 죽인 者(자)의 子女(자녀)들은 죽이지 아니하였으니 이는 모세의 律法冊(률법책)에 記錄(기록)된대로 함이라 곧 여호와께서 命(명)하여 이르시기를 ^ㅍ子女(자녀)로 因(인)하여 아비를 죽이지 말 것이요 아비로 因(인)하여 子女(자녀)를 죽이지 말 것이라 오직 사람마다 自己(자기)의 罪(죄)로 因(인)하여 죽을 것이니라 하셨더라
   
7. ^ㅎ아마샤가 ^ㅏ鹽谷(염곡)에서 에돔 사람 一萬(일만)을 죽이고 또 ^ㅑ셀라를 쳐서 取(취)하고 이름을 ^ㅓ욕드엘이라 하였더니 오늘까지 그러하니라
   
8. ^ㅕ아마샤가 예후의 孫子(손자) 여호아하스의 아들 이스라엘 王(왕) 요아스에게 使者(사자)를 보내어 이르되 오라 우리가 서로 ^ㅗ對面(대면)하자 한지라
   
9. 이스라엘 王(왕) 요아스가 유다 王(왕) 아마샤에게 보내어 이르되 ^ㅛ레바논 가시나무가 레바논 柏香木(백향목)에게 보내어 이르기를 네 딸을 내 아들들에게 주어 아내를 삼게 하라 하였더니 레바논 들짐승이 지나가다가 그 가시나무를 짓밟았느니라
   
10. 네가 ^ㅜ에돔을 쳐서 破(파)하였으므로 ^ㅠ마음이 驕慢(교만)하였으니 스스로 榮光(영광)을 삼아 宮(궁)에나 居(거)하라 어찌하여 禍(화)를 自取(자취)하여 너와 유다가 함께 亡(망)하고자 하느냐 하나
    

6. Mas no mató á los hijos de los que le "mataron," conforme á lo que está escrito en el libro de la ley de "Moisés," donde Jehová "mandó," diciendo: No matarán á los padres por los "hijos," ni á los hijos por los padres: mas cada uno morirá por su pecado.
   
7. Este hirió asimismo diez mil Idumeos en el valle de las "Salinas," y tomó á Sela por "guerra," y llamóla "Jocteel," hasta hoy.
   
8. Entonces Amasías envió embajadores á "Joas," hijo de Joachâz hijo de "Jehú," rey de "Israel," diciendo: "Ven," y veámonos de rostro.
   
9. Y Joas rey de Israel envió á Amasías rey de Judá esta respuesta: El cardillo que está en el Líbano envió á decir al cedro que está en el Líbano: Da tu hija por mujer á mi hijo. Y pasaron las bestias fieras que están en el "Líbano," y hollaron el cardillo.
   
10. Ciertamente has herido á "Edom," y tu corazón te ha envanecido: gloríate "pues," mas estáte en tu casa. ¿Y por qué te entrometerás en un "mal," para que caigas "tú," y Judá contigo?
    

6. Yet he did not put the sons of the assassins to death, in accordance with what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses where the LORD commanded: "Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sins."
   
7. He was the one who defeated ten thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt and captured Sela in battle, calling it Joktheel, the name it has to this day.
   
8. Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, with the challenge: "Come, meet me face to face."
   
9. But Jehoash king of Israel replied to Amaziah king of Judah: "A thistle in Lebanon sent a message to a cedar in Lebanon, 'Give your daughter to my son in marriage.' Then a wild beast in Lebanon came along and trampled the thistle underfoot.
   
10. You have indeed defeated Edom and now you are arrogant. Glory in your victory, but stay at home! Why ask for trouble and cause your own downfall and that of Judah also?"
    

11. 아마샤가 듣지 아니하므로 이스라엘 王(왕) 요아스가 올라와서 유다 王(왕) 아마샤로 더불어 유다의 ^으벧세메스에서 對面(대면)하였더니
    
12. 유다가 이스라엘 앞에서 敗(패)하여 ^이各其(각기) 帳幕(장막)으로 逃亡(도망)한지라
    
13. 이스라엘 王(왕) 요아스가 벧세메스에서 아하시야의 孫子(손자) 요아스의 아들 유다 王(왕) 아마샤를 사로잡고 예루살렘에 이르러 예루살렘 城壁(성벽)을 ^ㅐ에브라임 門(문)에서부터 ^ㄱ城(성) 모퉁이 門(문)까지 四百(사백) 규빗을 헐고
    
14. 또 ^ㄴ여호와의 殿(전)과 王宮(왕궁) 곳간에 있는 金(금),銀(은)과 모든 器皿(기명)을 取(취)하고 또 사람을 볼모로 잡아가지고 사마리아로 돌아갔더라
    
15. ^ㄷ요아스의 남은 事蹟(사적)과 그 權力(권력)과 또 유다 王(왕) 아마샤와 서로 싸운 일은 이스라엘 王(왕) 歷代(력대) 志略(지략)에 記錄(기록)되지 아니하였느냐
    

11. Mas Amasías no dió oídos; por lo que subió Joas rey de "Israel," y viéronse de rostro él y Amasías rey de "Judá," en "Beth-semes," que es de Judá.
    
12. Y Judá cayó delante de "Israel," y huyeron cada uno á sus estancias.
    
13. Además Joas rey de Israel tomó á Amasías rey de "Judá," hijo de Joas hijo de "Ochôzías," en Beth-semes: y vino á "Jerusalem," y rompió el muro de Jerusalem desde la puerta de Ephraim hasta la puerta de la "esquina," cuatrocientos codos.
    
14. Y tomó todo el oro y la "plata," y todos los vasos que fueron hallados en la casa de "Jehová," y en los tesoros de la casa del "rey," y los hijos en "rehenes," y volvióse á Samaria.
    
15. Lo demás de los hechos de Joas que "ejecutó," y sus "hazañas," y cómo peleó contra Amasías rey de "Judá," ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
    

11. Amaziah, however, would not listen, so Jehoash king of Israel attacked. He and Amaziah king of Judah faced each other at Beth Shemesh in Judah.
    
12. Judah was routed by Israel, and every man fled to his home.
    
13. Jehoash king of Israel captured Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Ahaziah, at Beth Shemesh. Then Jehoash went to Jerusalem and broke down the wall of Jerusalem from the Ephraim Gate to the Corner Gate--a section about six hundred feet long.
    
14. He took all the gold and silver and all the articles found in the temple of the LORD and in the treasuries of the royal palace. He also took hostages and returned to Samaria.
    
15. As for the other events of the reign of Jehoash, what he did and his achievements, including his war against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?
    

16. 요아스가 그 列祖(열조)와 함께 자매 이스라엘 王(왕)들과 사마리아에 함께 葬事(장사)되고 그 아들 여로보암이 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되니라
    
17. ^ㄹ이스라엘 王(왕) 여호아하스의 아들 요아스가 죽은 後(후)에도 유다 王(왕) 요아스의 아들 아마샤가 十五年(십오년)을 生存(생존)하였더라
    
18. 아마샤의 남은 行蹟(행적)은 유다 王(왕) 歷代(력대) 志略(지략)에 記錄(기록)되지 아니하였느냐
    
19. 예루살렘에서 무리가 저를 謀叛(모반)한故로 저가 ^ㅁ라기스로 逃亡(도망)하였더니 謀叛(모반)한 무리가 사람을 라기스로 따라 보내어 저를 거기서 죽이게 하고
    
20. 그 屍體(시체)를 말에 실어다가 예루살렘에서 그 列祖(열조)와 함께 다윗城(성)에 葬事(장사)하니라
    

16. Y durmió Joas con sus "padres," y fué sepultado en Samaria con los reyes de Israel; y reinó en su lugar Jeroboam su hijo.
    
17. Y Amasías hijo de Joas rey de "Judá," vivió después de la muerte de Joas hijo de Joachâz rey de "Israel," quince años.
    
18. Lo demás de los hechos de "Amasías," ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
    
19. E hicieron conspiración contra él en "Jerusalem," y él huyó á Lachîs; mas enviaron tras él á "Lachîs," y allá lo mataron.
    
20. Trajéronlo luego sobre "caballos," y sepultáronlo en Jerusalem con sus "padres," en la ciudad de David.
    

16. Jehoash rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel. And Jeroboam his son succeeded him as king.
    
17. Amaziah son of Joash king of Judah lived for fifteen years after the death of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel.
    
18. As for the other events of Amaziah's reign, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
    
19. They conspired against him in Jerusalem, and he fled to Lachish, but they sent men after him to Lachish and killed him there.
    
20. He was brought back by horse and was buried in Jerusalem with his fathers, in the City of David.
    

21. 유다 온 百姓(백성)이 아사랴로 그 父親(부친) 아마샤를 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)을 삼으니 때에 나이 十六歲(십륙세)라
    
22. 아마샤가 그 列祖(열조)와 함께 잔 後(후)에 아사랴가 ^ㅂ엘랏을 建築(건축)하여 유다에 돌렸더라
    
23. 유다 王(왕) 요아스의 아들 아마샤 十五年(십오년)에 이스라엘 王(왕) 요아스의 아들 여로보암이 사마리아에서 王(왕)이 되어 四十一年(사십일년)을 位(위)에 있으며
    
24. 여호와 보시기에 惡(악)을 行(행)하여 ^ㅅ이스라엘로 犯罪(범죄)케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 모든 罪(죄)에서 떠나지 아니하였더라
    
25. 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서 그 종 ^ㅇ가드헤벨 아밋대의 아들 先知者(선지자) ^ㅈ요나로 하신 말씀과 같이 ^ㅊ여로보암이 이스라엘 地境(지경)을 恢復(회복)하되 ^ㅋ하맛 어귀에서부터 ^ㅌ아라바 바다까지 하였으니
    

21. Entonces todo el pueblo de Judá tomó á "Azarías," que era de diez y seis "años," é hiciéronlo rey en lugar de Amasías su padre.
    
22. Edificó él á "Elath," y la restituyó á "Judá," después que el rey durmió con sus padres.
    
23. El año quince de Amasías hijo de Joas rey de "Judá," comenzó á reinar Jeroboam hijo de Joas sobre Israel en Samaria; y reinó cuarenta y un años.
    
24. E hizo lo malo en ojos de "Jehová," y no se apartó de todos los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de "Nabat," el que hizo pecar á Israel.
    
25. El restituyó los términos de Israel desde la entrada de Amath hasta la mar de la "llanura," conforme á la palabra de Jehová Dios de "Israel," la cual había él hablado por su siervo Jonás hijo de "Amittai," profeta que fué de Gath-hepher.
    

21. Then all the people of Judah took Azariah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in place of his father Amaziah.
    
22. He was the one who rebuilt Elath and restored it to Judah after Amaziah rested with his fathers.
    
23. In the fifteenth year of Amaziah son of Joash king of Judah, Jeroboam son of Jehoash king of Israel became king in Samaria, and he reigned forty-one years.
    
24. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD and did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.
    
25. He was the one who restored the boundaries of Israel from Lebo Hamath to the Sea of the Arabah, in accordance with the word of the LORD, the God of Israel, spoken through his servant Jonah son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.
    

26. 이는 여호와께서 ^ㅍ이스라엘의 苦難(고난)이 甚(심)하여 ^ㅎ매인 者(자)도 없고 놓인 者(자)도 없고 이스라엘을 도울 者(자)도 없음을 보셨고
    
27. ^ㅏ여호와께서 또 이스라엘의 이름을 塗抹(도말)하여 天下(천하)에 없이 하겠다고도 아니하셨으므로 요아스의 아들 여로보암의 손으로 救援(구원)하심이었더라
    
28. 여로보암의 남은 事蹟(사적)과 모든 行(행)한 일과 그 權力(권력)으로 싸운 일과 ^ㅑ다메섹을 恢復(회복)한 일과 以前(이전)에 유다에 屬(속)하였던 ^ㅓ하맛을 이스라엘에 돌린 일은 이스라엘 王(왕) 歷代(력대) 志略(지략)에 記錄(기록)되지 아니하였느냐
    
29. 여로보암이 그 列祖(열조) 이스라엘 王(왕)들과 함께 자고 그 아들 스가랴가 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되니라
    

26. Por cuanto Jehová miró la muy amarga aflicción de Israel; que no había guardado ni "desamparado," ni quien diese ayuda á Israel;
    
27. Y Jehová no había determinado raer el nombre de Israel de debajo del cielo: por "tanto," los salvó por mano de Jeroboam hijo de Joas.
    
28. Y lo demás de los hechos de "Jeroboam," y todas las cosas que "hizo," y su "valentía," y todas las guerras que "hizo," y cómo restituyó á Judá en Israel á Damasco y á "Hamath," ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
    
29. Y durmió Jeroboam con sus "padres," los reyes de "Israel," y reinó en su lugar Zachârías su hijo.
    

26. The LORD had seen how bitterly everyone in Israel, whether slave or free, was suffering; there was no one to help them.
    
27. And since the LORD had not said he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Jehoash.
    
28. As for the other events of Jeroboam's reign, all he did, and his military achievements, including how he recovered for Israel both Damascus and Hamath, which had belonged to Yaudi, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?
    
29. Jeroboam rested with his fathers, the kings of Israel. And Zechariah his son succeeded him as king.
