전도서(Ecclésiaste) 4장 [개역한글 : LSG1910 : NIV]

1. ^ㅐ내가 돌이켜 해 아래서 行(행)하는 모든 ^ㄱ虐待(학대)를 ^ㄴ보았도다 오호라, 虐待(학대)받는 者(자)가 눈물을 흘리되 저희에게 ^ㄷ慰勞者(위로자)가 없도다 저희를 虐待(학대)하는 者(자)의 손에는 權勢(권세)가 있으나 저희에게는 慰勞者(위로자)가 없도다
   
2. 그러므로 나는 ^ㄹ살아 있는 산 者(자)보다 죽은지 오랜 죽은 者(자)를 福(복)되다 하였으며
   
3. 이 둘보다도 ^ㅁ出生(출생)하지 아니하여 해 아래서 行(행)하는 惡(악)을 보지 못한 者(자)가 더욱 낫다 하였노라
   
4. 내가 또 본즉 사람이 모든 受苦(수고)와 ^ㅂ여러 가지 巧妙(교묘)한 일로 因(인)하여 이웃에게 猜忌(시기)를 받으니 이것도 ^ㅅ헛되어 바람을 잡으려는 것이로다
   
5. 愚昧者(우매자)는 ^ㅇ손을 거두고 ^ㅈ自己(자기) 살을 먹느니라
   

1. J'ai considéré ensuite toutes les oppressions qui se commettent sous le soleil; et voici, les opprimés sont dans les larmes, et personne qui les console! ils sont en butte à la violence de leurs oppresseurs, et personne qui les console!
   
2. Et j'ai trouvé les morts qui sont déjà morts plus heureux que les vivants qui sont encore vivants,
   
3. et plus heureux que les uns et les autres celui qui n'a point encore existé et qui n'a pas vu les mauvaises actions qui se commettent sous le soleil.
   
4. J'ai vu que tout travail et toute habileté dans le travail n'est que jalousie de l'homme à l'égard de son prochain. C'est encore là une vanité et la poursuite du vent.
   
5. L'insensé se croise les mains, et mange sa propre chair.
   

1. Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed--and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors--and they have no comforter.
   
2. And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive.
   
3. But better than both is he who has not yet been, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun.
   
4. And I saw that all labor and all achievement spring from man's envy of his neighbor. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
   
5. The fool folds his hands and ruins himself.
   

6. ^ㅊ한 손에만 가득하고 平穩(평온)함이 ^ㅋ두 손에 가득하고 受苦(수고)하며 바람을 잡으려는 것보다 나으니라
   
7. 내가 또 돌이켜 해 아래서 헛된 것을 보았도다
   
8. 어떤 사람은 아들도 없고 兄弟(형제)도 없으니 아무도 없이 홀로 있으나 受苦(수고)하기를 마지 아니하며 富(부)를 ^ㅌ눈에 足(족)하게 여기지 아니하면서도 이르기를 ^ㅍ내가 누구를 爲(위)하여 受苦(수고)하고 내 心靈(심령)으로 樂(낙)을 누리지 못하게 하는고 하나니 이것도 헛되어 ^ㅎ無益(무익)한 勞苦(로고)로다
   
9. 두 사람이 한 사람보다 나음은 저희가 受苦(수고)함으로 좋은 賞(상)을 얻을 것임이라
   
10. 或時(혹시) 저희가 넘어지면 하나가 그 동무를 붙들어 일으키려니와 홀로 있어 넘어지고 붙들어 일으킬 者(자)가 없는 者(자)에게는 禍(화)가 있으리라
    

6. Mieux vaut une main pleine avec repos, que les deux mains pleines avec travail et poursuite du vent.
   
7. J'ai considéré une autre vanité sous le soleil.
   
8. Tel homme est seul et sans personne qui lui tienne de près, il n'a ni fils ni frère, et pourtant son travail n'a point de fin et ses yeux ne sont jamais rassasiés de richesses. Pour qui donc est-ce que je travaille, et que je prive mon âme de jouissances? C'est encore là une vanité et une chose mauvaise.
   
9. Deux valent mieux qu'un, parce qu'ils retirent un bon salaire de leur travail.
   
10. Car, s'ils tombent, l'un relève son compagnon; mais malheur à celui qui est seul et qui tombe, sans avoir un second pour le relever!
    

6. Better one handful with tranquillity than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind.
   
7. Again I saw something meaningless under the sun:
   
8. There was a man all alone; he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth. "For whom am I toiling," he asked, "and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?" This too is meaningless--a miserable business!
   
9. Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:
   
10. If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
    

11. 두 사람이 함께 누우면 따뜻하거니와 ^ㅏ한 사람이면 어찌 따뜻하랴
    
12. 한 사람이면 敗(패)하겠거니와 두 사람이면 能(능)히 當(당)하나니 삼겹 줄은 쉽게 끊어지지 아니하느니라
    
13. ^ㅑ가난하여도 智慧(지혜)로운 少年(소년)은 늙고 鈍(둔)하여 ^ㅓ諫(간)함을 받을줄 모르는 王(왕)보다 나으니
    
14. 저는 ^ㅕ그 나라에서 나면서 가난한 者(자)로서 ^ㅗ獄(옥)에서 나와서 王(왕)이 되었음이니라
    
15. 내가 본즉 해 아래서 다니는 人生(인생)들이 王(왕)의 버금으로 代身(대신)하여 일어난 少年(소년)과 함께 있으매
    

11. De même, si deux couchent ensemble, ils auront chaud; mais celui qui est seul, comment aura-t-il chaud?
    
12. Et si quelqu'un est plus fort qu'un seul, les deux peuvent lui résister; et la corde à trois fils ne se rompt pas facilement.
    
13. Mieux vaut un enfant pauvre et sage qu'un roi vieux et insensé qui ne sait plus écouter les avis;
    
14. car il peut sortir de prison pour régner, et même être né pauvre dans son royaume.
    
15. J'ai vu tous les vivants qui marchent sous le soleil entourer l'enfant qui devait succéder au roi et régner à sa place.
    

11. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?
    
12. Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
    
13. Better a poor but wise youth than an old but foolish king who no longer knows how to take warning.
    
14. The youth may have come from prison to the kingship, or he may have been born in poverty within his kingdom.
    
15. I saw that all who lived and walked under the sun followed the youth, the king's successor.
    

16. 저희 治理(치리)를 받는 百姓(백성)들이 無數(무수)하였을지라도 後(후)에 오는 者(자)들은 저를 기뻐하지 아니하리니 이것도 ^ㅛ헛되어 바람을 잡으려는 것이로다
    

16. Il n'y avait point de fin à tout ce peuple, à tous ceux à la tête desquels il était. Et toutefois, ceux qui viendront après ne se réjouiront pas à son sujet. Car c'est encore là une vanité et la poursuite du vent.
    

16. There was no end to all the people who were before them. But those who came later were not pleased with the successor. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
