  1. 그 後(후)에 욥이 ㅊ입을 열어 自己(자기)의 生日(생일)을 詛呪(저주)하니라
  2. 욥이 말을 내어 가로되
  3. ㅋ나의 난 날이 滅亡(멸망)하였었더라면, 男兒(남아)를 배었다 하던 그 밤도 그러하였었더라면,
  4. 그 날이 캄캄하였었더라면, 하나님이 위에서 돌아보지 마셨더라면, 빛도 그 날을 비취지 말았었더라면,
  5. 幽暗(유암)과 ㅌ死亡(사망)의 그늘이 그 날을 自己(자기) 것이라 主張(주장)하였었더라면, 구름이 그 위에 덮였었더라면, 낮을 캄캄하게 하는 것이 그 날을 두렵게 하였었더라면

  1. Après cela, Job ouvrit la bouche et maudit le jour de sa naissance.
  2. Il prit la parole et dit:
  3. Périsse le jour où je suis né, Et la nuit qui dit: Un enfant mâle est conçu!
  4. Ce jour! qu'il se change en ténèbres, Que Dieu n'en ait point souci dans le ciel, Et que la lumière ne rayonne plus sur lui!
  5. Que l'obscurité et l'ombre de la mort s'en emparent, Que des nuées établissent leur demeure au-dessus de lui, Et que de noirs phénomènes l'épouvantent!
  1. After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.
  2. He said:
  3. "May the day of my birth perish, and the night it was said, 'A boy is born!'
  4. That day--may it turn to darkness; may God above not care about it; may no light shine upon it.
  5. May darkness and deep shadow claim it once more; may a cloud settle over it; may blackness overwhelm its light.
  1. 그 밤이 甚(심)한 어두움에 잡혔었더라면, 해의 날 數(수) 가운데 기쁨이 되지 말았었더라면, 달의 數(수)에 들지 말았었더라면,
  2. 그 밤이 寂寞(적막)하였었더라면, 그 가운데서 즐거운 소리가 일어나지 말았었더라면,
  3. 날을 詛呪(저주)하는 者(자) 곧 ㅍ큰 鰐魚(악어)를 激動(격동)시키기에 익숙한 者(자)가 그 밤을 詛呪(저주)하였었더라면,
  4. 그 밤에 새벽별들이 어두웠었더라면, 그 밤이 光明(광명)을 바랄지라도 얻지 못하며 ㅎ東(동)틈을 보지 못하였었더라면 좋았을 것을,
  5. 이는 내 母胎(모태)의 門(문)을 닫지 아니하였고 내 눈으로 患難(환난)을 보지 않도록 하지 아니하였음이로구나

  1. Cette nuit! que les ténèbres en fassent leur proie, Qu'elle disparaisse de l'année, Qu'elle ne soit plus comptée parmi les mois!
  2. Que cette nuit devienne stérile, Que l'allégresse en soit bannie!
  3. Qu'elle soit maudite par ceux qui maudissent les jours, Par ceux qui savent exciter le léviathan!
  4. Que les étoiles de son crépuscule s'obscurcissent, Qu'elle attende en vain la lumière, Et qu'elle ne voie point les paupières de l'aurore!
  5. Car elle n'a pas fermé le sein qui me conçut, Ni dérobé la souffrance à mes regards.
  1. That night--may thick darkness seize it; may it not be included among the days of the year nor be entered in any of the months.
  2. May that night be barren; may no shout of joy be heard in it.
  3. May those who curse days curse that day, those who are ready to rouse Leviathan.
  4. May its morning stars become dark; may it wait for daylight in vain and not see the first rays of dawn,
  5. for it did not shut the doors of the womb on me to hide trouble from my eyes.
  1. 어찌하여 내가 ㅏ胎(태)에서 죽어 나오지 아니하였었던가 어찌하여 내 어미가 낳을 때에 내가 숨지지 아니하였던가
  2. 어찌하여 ㅑ무릎이 나를 받았던가 어찌하여 乳房(유방)이 나로 빨게 하였던가
  3. 그렇지 아니하였던들 이제는 내가 平安(평안)히 누워서 자고 쉬었을 것이니
  4. 自己(자기)를 爲(위)하여 ㅓ거친 터를 修築(수축)한 世上(세상) 임금들과 議士(의사)들과 함께 있었을 것이요
  5. 或時(혹시) 金(금)을 가지며 銀(은)으로 집에 채운 牧伯(목백)들과 함께 있었을 것이며

  1. Pourquoi ne suis-je pas mort dans le ventre de ma mère? Pourquoi n'ai-je pas expiré au sortir de ses entrailles?
  2. Pourquoi ai-je trouvé des genoux pour me recevoir, Et des mamelles pour m'allaiter?
  3. Je serais couché maintenant, je serais tranquille, Je dormirais, je reposerais,
  4. Avec les rois et les grands de la terre, Qui se bâtirent des mausolées,
  5. Avec les princes qui avaient de l'or, Et qui remplirent d'argent leurs demeures.
  1. "Why did I not perish at birth, and die as I came from the womb?
  2. Why were there knees to receive me and breasts that I might be nursed?
  3. For now I would be lying down in peace; I would be asleep and at rest
  4. with kings and counselors of the earth, who built for themselves places now lying in ruins,
  5. with rulers who had gold, who filled their houses with silver.
  1. 또 不知中(부지중)에 ㅕ落胎(락태)한 아이 같아서 世上(세상)에 있지 않았겠고 빛을 보지 못한 아이들 같았었을 것이라
  2. 거기서는 惡(악)한 者(자)가 騷擾(소요)를 그치며 거기서는 困憊(곤비)한 者(자)가 ㅗ平康(평강)을 얻으며
  3. 거기서는 갇힌 者(자)가 다 함께 平安(평안)히 있어 ㅛ監督者(감독자)의 소리를 듣지 아니하며
  4. 거기서는 작은 者(자)나 큰 者(자)나 一般(일반)으로 있고 종이 上典(상전)에게서 놓이느니라
  5. 어찌하여 困苦(곤고)한 者(자)에게 빛을 주셨으며 ㅜ마음이 煩惱(번뇌)한 者(자)에게 生命(생명)을 주셨는고

  1. Ou je n'existerais pas, je serais comme un avorton caché, Comme des enfants qui n'ont pas vu la lumière.
  2. Là ne s'agitent plus les méchants, Et là se reposent ceux qui sont fatigués et sans force;
  3. Les captifs sont tous en paix, Ils n'entendent pas la voix de l'oppresseur;
  4. Le petit et le grand sont là, Et l'esclave n'est plus soumis à son maître.
  5. Pourquoi donne-t-il la lumière à celui qui souffre, Et la vie à ceux qui ont l'amertume dans l'âme,
  1. Or why was I not hidden in the ground like a stillborn child, like an infant who never saw the light of day?
  2. There the wicked cease from turmoil, and there the weary are at rest.
  3. Captives also enjoy their ease; they no longer hear the slave driver's shout.
  4. The small and the great are there, and the slave is freed from his master.
  5. "Why is light given to those in misery, and life to the bitter of soul,
  1. 이러한 者(자)는 ㅠ죽기를 바라도 오지 아니하니 그것을 求(구)하기를 땅을 파고 으숨긴 보배를 찾음보다 더하다가
  2. 무덤을 찾아 얻으면 甚(심)히 기뻐하고 즐거워하나니
  3. 하나님에게 이둘러 싸여 ㅐ길이 아득한 사람에게 어찌하여 빛을 주셨는고
  4. ㄱ나는 먹기 前(전)에 歎息(탄식)이 나며 나의 ㄴ앓는 소리는 물이 쏟아지는 것 같구나
  5. ㄷ나의 두려워하는 그것이 내게 臨(임)하고 나의 무서워하는 그것이 내 몸에 미쳤구나

  3. A l'homme qui ne sait où aller, Et que Dieu cerne de toutes parts?
  4. Mes soupirs sont ma nourriture, Et mes cris se répandent comme l'eau.
  5. Ce que je crains, c'est ce qui m'arrive; Ce que je redoute, c'est ce qui m'atteint.
  1. to those who long for death that does not come, who search for it more than for hidden treasure,
  2. who are filled with gladness and rejoice when they reach the grave?
  3. Why is life given to a man whose way is hidden, whom God has hedged in?
  4. For sighing comes to me instead of food; my groans pour out like water.
  5. What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.
  1. 平康(평강)도 없고, 安穩(안온)도 없고, 安息(안식)도 없고, 苦難(고난)만 臨(임)하였구나
  1. Je n'ai ni tranquillité, ni paix, ni repos, Et le trouble s'est emparé de moi.
  1. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil."
