1. ^ㄱ하나님의 뜻으로 말미암아 ^ㄴ그리스도 예수 안에 있는 生命(생명)의 約束(약속)대로 ^ㄷ그리스도 예수의 使徒(사도) 된 바울은
   
2. ^ㄹ사랑하는 아들 디모데에게 便紙(편지)하노니 ^ㅁ하나님 아버지와 그리스도 예수 우리 主(주)께로부터 恩惠(은혜)와 矜恤(긍휼)과 平康(평강)이 네게 있을지어다
   
3. ^ㅂ나의 밤낮 懇求(간구)하는 가운데 쉬지 않고 너를 생각하여 ^ㅅ淸潔(청결)한 良心(량심)으로 祖上(조상)적부터 ^ㅇ섬겨 오는 하나님께 ^ㅈ感謝(감사)하고
   
4. ^ㅊ네 눈물을 생각하여 ^ㅋ너 보기를 願(원)함은 내 기쁨이 가득하게 하려 함이니
   
5. 이는 ^ㅌ네 속에 거짓이 없는 믿음을 생각함이라 이 믿음은 먼저 네 外祖母(외조모) 로이스와 ^ㅍ네 어머니 유니게 속에 있더니 네 속에도 있는 줄을 確信(확신)하노라
   

1. Paul, apôtre de Jésus Christ, par la volonté de Dieu, pour annoncer la promesse de la vie qui est en Jésus Christ,
   
2. à Timothée, mon enfant bien-aimé: que la grâce, la miséricorde et la paix te soient données de la part de Dieu le Père et de Jésus Christ notre Seigneur!
   
3. Je rends grâces à Dieu, que mes ancêtres ont servi, et que je sers avec une conscience pure, de ce que nuit et jour je me souviens continuellement de toi dans mes prières,
   
4. me rappelant tes larmes, et désirant te voir afin d'être rempli de joie,
   
5. gardant le souvenir de la foi sincère qui est en toi, qui habita d'abord dans ton aïeule Loïs et dans ta mère Eunice, et qui, j'en suis persuadé, habite aussi en toi.
   

1. Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus,
   
2. To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
   
3. I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.
   
4. Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy.
   
5. I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.
   

6. 그러므로 내가 ^ㅎ나의 按手(안수)함으로 네 속에 있는 하나님의 恩賜(은사)를 다시 불일듯 하게 하기 爲(위)하여 너로 생각하게 하노니
   
7. 하나님이 우리에게 주신 것은 ^ㅏ두려워하는 마음이 아니요 오직 ^ㅑ能力(능력)과 사랑과 謹愼(근신)하는 마음이니
   
8. 그러므로 네가 ^ㅓ우리 主(주)의 證據(증거)와 또는 ^ㅕ主(주)를 爲(위)하여 갇힌 者(자) 된 나를 ^ㅗ부끄러워 말고 오직 하나님의 能力(능력)을 좇아 福音(복음)과 함께 ^ㅛ苦難(고난)을 받으라
   
9. ^ㅜ하나님이 우리를 救援(구원)하사 거룩하신 부르심으로 ^ㅠ부르심은 우리의 行爲(행위)대로 ^으하심이 아니요 오직 自己(자기) 뜻과 ^이永遠(영원)한 때 前(전)부터 그리스도 예수 안에서 우리에게 주신 恩惠(은혜)대로 하심이라
   
10. 이제는 ^ㅐ우리 救主(구주) 그리스도 예수의 나타나심으로 말미암아 ^ㄱ나타났으니 ^ㄴ저는 死亡(사망)을 廢(폐)하시고 福音(복음)으로써 ^ㄷ生命(생명)과 ^ㄹ썩지 아니할 것을 드러내신지라
    

7. Car ce n'est pas un esprit de timidité que Dieu nous a donné, mais un esprit de force, d'amour et de sagesse.
   
8. N'aie donc point honte du témoignage à rendre à notre Seigneur, ni de moi son prisonnier. Mais souffre avec moi pour l'Évangile,
   
9. par la puissance de Dieu qui nous a sauvés, et nous a adressé une sainte vocation, non à cause de nos oeuvres, mais selon son propre dessein, et selon la grâce qui nous a été donnée en Jésus Christ avant les temps éternels,
   
10. et qui a été manifestée maintenant par l'apparition de notre Sauveur Jésus Christ, qui a détruit la mort et a mis en évidence la vie et l'immortalité par l'Évangile.
    

6. For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
   
7. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
   
8. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,
   
9. who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
   
10. but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
    

11. 내가 이 福音(복음)을 爲(위)하여 ^ㅁ頒布者(반포자)와 使徒(사도)와 敎師(교사)로 세우심을 입었노라
    
12. ^ㅂ이를 因(인)하여 내가 또 이 苦難(고난)을 받되 ^ㅅ부끄러워하지 아니함은 ^ㅇ나의 依賴(의뢰)한 者(자)를 내가 알고 또한 ^ㅈ나의 依託(의탁)한 것을 ^ㅊ그 날까지 저가 能(능)히 지키실 줄을 確信(확신)함이라
    
13. 너는 ^ㅋ그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음과 사랑으로써 ^ㅌ내게 들은 바 ^ㅍ바른 말을 ^ㅎ本(본)받아 ^ㅏ지키고
    
14. ^ㅑ우리 안에 居(거)하시는 聖靈(성령)으로 말미암아 네게 付託(부탁)한 아름다운 것을 지키라
    
15. ^ㅓ아시아에 있는 모든 사람이 나를 버린 이 일을 네가 아나니 그 中(중)에 부겔로와 허모게네가 있느니라
    

11. C'est pour cet Évangile que j'ai été établi prédicateur et apôtre, chargé d'instruire les païens.
    
12. Et c'est à cause de cela que je souffre ces choses; mais j'en ai point honte, car je sais en qui j'ai cru, et je suis persuadé qu'il a la puissance de garder mon dépôt jusqu'à ce jour-là.
    
13. Retiens dans la foi et dans la charité qui est en Jésus Christ le modèle des saines paroles que tu as reçues de moi.
    
14. Garde le bon dépôt, par le Saint Esprit qui habite en nous.
    
15. Tu sais que tous ceux qui sont en Asie m'ont abandonné, entre autres Phygelle et Hermogène.
    

11. And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.
    
12. That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.
    
13. What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus.
    
14. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you--guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.
    
15. You know that everyone in the province of Asia has deserted me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes.
    

16. 願(원)컨대 主(주)께서 ^ㅕ오네시보로의 집에 矜恤(긍휼)을 베푸시옵소서 저가 나를 자주 ^ㅗ愉快(유쾌)케 하고 ^ㅛ나의 사슬에 매인 것을 부끄러워 아니하여
    
17. 로마에 있을 때에 ^ㅜ나를 부지런히 찾아 만났느니라
    
18. 願(원)컨대 主(주)께서 저로 하여금 ^ㅠ그 날에 主(주)의 矜恤(긍휼)을 얻게 하여 주옵소서 또 저가 에베소에서 얼마큼 ^으나를 섬긴 것을 네가 잘 아느니라
    

16. Que le Seigneur répande sa miséricorde sur la maison d'Onésiphore, car il m'a souvent consolé, et il n'a pas eu honte de mes chaînes;
    
17. au contraire, lorsqu'il est venu à Rome, il m'a cherché avec beaucoup d'empressement, et il m'a trouvé.
    
18. Que le Seigneur lui donne d'obtenir miséricorde auprès du Seigneur en ce jour-là. Tu sais mieux que personne combien de services il m'a rendus à Éphèse.
    

16. May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.
    
17. On the contrary, when he was in Rome, he searched hard for me until he found me.
    
18. May the Lord grant that he will find mercy from the Lord on that day! You know very well in how many ways he helped me in Ephesus.
