"I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was.

이것을 注目(주목)하여 보니 땅에 네 발 가진 것과 들짐승과 기는 것과 空中(공중)에 나는 것들이 보이더라

또 들으니 소리 있어 내게 이르되 베드로야 일어나 잡아 먹으라 하거늘

내가 가로되 主(주)여 그럴 수 없나이다 俗(속)되거나 깨끗지 아니한 物件(물건)은 언제든지 내 입에 들어간 일이 없나이다 하니

또 하늘로부터 두番(번)째 소리 있어 내게 對答(대답)하되 하나님이 깨끗하게 하신 것을 네가 俗(속)되다 말라 하더라

이런 일이 세番(번) 있은 後(후)에 모든 것이 다시 하늘로 끌려 올라가더라

我定睛观看，见内中有地上四足的牲畜，和野兽，昆虫，并天上的飞鸟。

我且听见有声音向我说，彼得，起来，宰了吃。

我说，主阿，这是不可的。凡俗而不洁净的物，从来没有入过我的口。

第二次，有声音从天上说，神所洁净的，你不可当作俗物。

这样一连三次，就都收回天上去了。

I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air.

Then I heard a voice telling me, 'Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.'

"I replied, 'Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.'

"The voice spoke from heaven a second time, 'Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.'

This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again.

마침 세 사람이 내 寓居(우거)한 집 앞에 섰으니 가이사랴에서 내게로 보낸 사람이라

聖靈(성령)이 내게 命(명)하사 ^ㅋ아무 疑心(의심) 말고 함께 가라 하시매 ^ㅌ이 여섯 兄弟(형제)도 나와 함께 가서 그 사람의 집에 들어가니

그가 우리에게 말하기를 天使(천사)가 내 집에 서서 말하되 네가 사람을 욥바에 보내어 베드로라 하는 시몬을 請(청)하라

그가 ^ㅍ너와 네 온 집의 救援(구원) 얻을 말씀을 ^ㅎ네게 이르리라 함을 보았다 하거늘

내가 말을 始作(시작)할 때에 ^ㅏ聖靈(성령)이 저희에게 臨(임)하시기를 ^ㅑ처음 우리에게 하신 것과 같이 하는지라

正当那时，有三个人站在我们所住的房门前，是从该撒利亚差来见我的。

圣灵吩咐我和他们同去，不要疑惑。（或作不要分别等类）同着我去的，还有这六位弟兄。我们都进了那人的家。

那人就告诉我们，他如何看见一位天使，站在他屋里，说，你打发人往约帕去，请那称呼彼得的西门来。

他有话告诉你，可以叫你和你的全家得救。

我一开讲，圣灵便降在他们身上，正像当初降在我们身上一样。

"Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.

The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man's house.

He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, 'Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter.

He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.'

"As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.

내가 主(주)의 말씀에 ^ㅓ요한은 물로 洗禮(세례)를 주었으나 너희는 聖靈(성령)으로 洗禮(세례) 받으리라 하신 것이 생각났노라

그런즉 하나님이 ^ㅕ우리가 主(주) 예수 그리스도를 믿을 때에 주신 것과 ^ㅗ같은 膳物(선물)을 ^ㅛ저희에게도 주셨으니 내가 ^ㅜ누구관대 ^ㅠ하나님을 能(능)히 막겠느냐 하더라

저희가 이 말을 듣고 潛潛(잠잠)하여 ^으하나님께 榮光(영광)을 돌려 가로되 그러면 하나님께서 ^이異邦人(이방인)에게도 生命(생명) 얻는 ^ㅐ悔改(회개)를 ^ㄱ주셨도다 하니라

때에 ^ㄴ스데반의 일로 일어난 患難(환난)을 因(인)하여 흩어진 者(자)들이 베니게와 구브로와 안디옥까지 이르러 道(도)를 유대人(인)에게만 傳(전)하는데

그 中(중)에 구브로와 구레네 몇 사람이 안디옥에 이르러 ^ㄷ헬라人(인)에게도 말하여 ^ㄹ主(주) 예수를 傳播(전파)하니

我就想起主的话说，约翰是用水施洗，但你们要受圣灵的洗。

神既然给他们恩赐，像在我们信主耶稣基督的时候，给了我们一样，我是谁，能拦阻神呢？

众人听见这话，就不言语了。只归荣耀与神，说，这样看来，神也赐恩给外邦人，叫他们悔改得生命了。

那些因司提反的事遭患难四散的门徒，直走到腓尼基，和居比路，并安提阿。他们不向别人讲道，只向犹太人讲。

但内中有居比路，和古利奈人，他们到了安提阿，也向希利尼人传讲主耶稣。（有古卷作也向说希利尼话的犹太人传讲主耶稣）

Then I remembered what the Lord had said: 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'

So if God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?"

When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."

Now those who had been scattered by the persecution in connection with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, telling the message only to Jews.

Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus.
