1. 여호와께서 ^ㅎ회리바람으로 엘리야를 하늘에 올리고자 하실 때에 엘리야가 ^ㅏ엘리사로 더불어 ^ㅑ길갈에서 나가더니
   
2. 엘리야가 엘리사에게 이르되 請(청)컨대 너는 ^ㅓ여기 머물라 여호와께서 나를 벧엘로 보내시느니라 엘리사가 가로되 ^ㅕ여호와의 사심과 當身(당신)의 魂(혼)의 삶을 가리켜 盟誓(맹서)하노니 내가 當身(당신)을 떠나지 아니하겠나이다 이에 두 사람이 벧엘로 내려가니
   
3. 벧엘에 있는 ^ㅗ先知者(선지자)의 生徒(생도)들이 엘리사에게로 나아와 이르되 여호와께서 오늘날 當身(당신)의 先生(선생)을 ^ㅛ當身(당신)의 머리 위로 取(취)하실 줄을 아나이까 가로되 나도 아노니 너희는 潛潛(잠잠)하라
   
4. 엘리야가 저에게 이르되 엘리사야 請(청)컨대 너는 여기 머물라 여호와께서 ^ㅜ나를 여리고로 보내시느니라 엘리사가 가로되 여호와의 사심과 當身(당신)의 魂(혼)의 삶을 가리켜 盟誓(맹서)하노니 내가 當身(당신)을 떠나지 아니하겠나이다 하니라 저희가 여리고에 이르매
   
5. 여리고에 있는 先知者(선지자)의 生徒(생도)들이 엘리사에게 나아와 이르되 여호와께서 오늘날 當身(당신)의 先生(선생)을 當身(당신)의 머리 위로 取(취)하실 줄을 아나이까 엘리사가 가로되 나도 아노니 너희는 潛潛(잠잠)하라
   

1. Lorsque l'Éternel fit monter Élie au ciel dans un tourbillon, Élie partait de Guilgal avec Élisée.
   
2. Élie dit à Élisée: Reste ici, je te prie, car l'Éternel m'envoie jusqu'à Béthel. Élisée répondit: L'Éternel est vivant et ton âme est vivante! je ne te quitterai point. Et ils descendirent à Béthel.
   
3. Les fils des prophètes qui étaient à Béthel sortirent vers Élisée, et lui dirent: Sais-tu que l'Éternel enlève aujourd'hui ton maître au-dessus de ta tête? Et il répondit: Je le sais aussi; taisez-vous.
   
4. Élie lui dit: Élisée, reste ici, je te prie, car l'Éternel m'envoie à Jéricho. Il répondit: L'Éternel est vivant et ton âme est vivante! je ne te quitterai point. Et ils arrivèrent à Jéricho.
   
5. Les fils des prophètes qui étaient à Jéricho s'approchèrent d'Élisée, et lui dirent: Sais-tu que l'Éternel enlève aujourd'hui ton maître au-dessus de ta tête? Et il répondit: Je le sais aussi; taisez-vous.
   

1. When the LORD was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal.
   
2. Elijah said to Elisha, "Stay here; the LORD has sent me to Bethel." But Elisha said, "As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So they went down to Bethel.
   
3. The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked, "Do you know that the LORD is going to take your master from you today?" "Yes, I know," Elisha replied, "but do not speak of it."
   
4. Then Elijah said to him, "Stay here, Elisha; the LORD has sent me to Jericho." And he replied, "As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So they went to Jericho.
   
5. The company of the prophets at Jericho went up to Elisha and asked him, "Do you know that the LORD is going to take your master from you today?" "Yes, I know," he replied, "but do not speak of it."
   

6. 엘리야가 또 엘리사에게 이르되 請(청)컨대 너는 여기 머물라 여호와께서 나를 요단으로 보내시느니라 저가 가로되 여호와의 사심과 當身(당신)의 魂(혼)의 삶을 가리켜 盟誓(맹서)하노니 내가 當身(당신)을 떠나지 아니하겠나이다 이에 두 사람이 行(행)하니라
   
7. 先知者(선지자)의 生徒(생도) 五十人(오십인)이 가서 멀리 서서 바라보매 그 두 사람이 요단가에 섰더니
   
8. 엘리야가 ^ㅠ겉옷을 取(취)하여 말아 물을 치매 ^으물이 이리 저리 갈라지고 두 사람이 陸地(륙지) 위로 건너더라
   
9. 건너매 엘리야가 엘리사에게 이르되 나를 네게서 取(취)하시기 前(전)에 내가 네게 어떻게 할 것을 求(구)하라 엘리사가 가로되 當身(당신)의 靈感(령감)이 갑절이나 내게 있기를 求(구)하나이다
   
10. 가로되 네가 어려운 일을 求(구)하는도다 그러나 나를 네게서 取(취)하시는 것을 네가 보면 그 일이 네게 이루려니와 그렇지 않으면 이루지 아니하리라 하고
    

6. Élie lui dit: Reste ici, je te prie, car l'Éternel m'envoie au Jourdain. Il répondit: L'Éternel est vivant et ton âme est vivante! je ne te quitterai point. Et ils poursuivirent tous deux leur chemin.
   
7. Cinquante hommes d'entre les fils des prophètes arrivèrent et s'arrêtèrent à distance vis-à-vis, et eux deux s'arrêtèrent au bord du Jourdain.
   
8. Alors Élie prit son manteau, le roula, et en frappa les eaux, qui se partagèrent çà et là, et ils passèrent tous deux à sec.
   
9. Lorsqu'ils eurent passé, Élie dit à Élisée: Demande ce que tu veux que je fasse pour toi, avant que je sois enlevé d'avec toi. Élisée répondit: Qu'il y ait sur moi, je te prie, une double portion de ton esprit!
   
10. Élie dit: Tu demandes une chose difficile. Mais si tu me vois pendant que je serai enlevé d'avec toi, cela t'arrivera ainsi; sinon, cela n'arrivera pas.
    

6. Then Elijah said to him, "Stay here; the LORD has sent me to the Jordan." And he replied, "As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So the two of them walked on.
   
7. Fifty men of the company of the prophets went and stood at a distance, facing the place where Elijah and Elisha had stopped at the Jordan.
   
8. Elijah took his cloak, rolled it up and struck the water with it. The water divided to the right and to the left, and the two of them crossed over on dry ground.
   
9. When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, "Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?" "Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit," Elisha replied.
   
10. "You have asked a difficult thing," Elijah said, "yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours--otherwise not."
    

11. 두 사람이 行(행)하며 말하더니 忽然(홀연)히 ^이불수레와 불말들이 두 사람을 隔(격)하고 엘리야가 회리바람을 타고 昇天(승천)하더라
    
12. 엘리사가 보고 소리 지르되 내 아버지여, 내 아버지여, ^ㅐ이스라엘의 兵車(병거)와 그 馬兵(마병)이여 하더니 다시 보이지 아니하는지라 이에 엘리사가 自己(자기)의 옷을 잡아 ^ㄱ둘에 찢고
    
13. 엘리야의 몸에서 떨어진 겉옷을 주워가지고 돌아와서 요단 언덕에 서서
    
14. 엘리야의 몸에서 떨어진 그 겉옷을 가지고 물을 치며 가로되 엘리야의 하나님 여호와는 어디 계시니이까 하고 저도 물을 치매 물이 이리 저리 갈라지고 엘리사가 건너니라
    
15. 맞은便(편) 여리고에 있는 先知者(선지자)의 生徒(생도)들이 저를 보며 말하기를 엘리야의 靈感(령감)이 엘리사의 위에 머물렀다 하고 가서 저를 迎接(영접)하여 그 앞에서 땅에 엎드리고
    

11. Comme ils continuaient à marcher en parlant, voici, un char de feu et des chevaux de feu les séparèrent l'un de l'autre, et Élie monta au ciel dans un tourbillon.
    
12. Élisée regardait et criait: Mon père! mon père! Char d'Israël et sa cavalerie! Et il ne le vit plus. Saisissant alors ses vêtements, il les déchira en deux morceaux,
    
13. et il releva le manteau qu'Élie avait laissé tomber. Puis il retourna, et s'arrêta au bord du Jourdain;
    
14. il prit le manteau qu'Élie avait laissé tomber, et il en frappa les eaux, et dit: Où est l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Élie? Lui aussi, il frappa les eaux, qui se partagèrent çà et là, et Élisée passa.
    
15. Les fils des prophètes qui étaient à Jéricho, vis-à-vis, l'ayant vu, dirent: L'esprit d'Élie repose sur Élisée! Et ils allèrent à sa rencontre, et se prosternèrent contre terre devant lui.
    

11. As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.
    
12. Elisha saw this and cried out, "My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!" And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart.
    
13. He picked up the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.
    
14. Then he took the cloak that had fallen from him and struck the water with it. "Where now is the LORD, the God of Elijah?" he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.
    
15. The company of the prophets from Jericho, who were watching, said, "The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha." And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.
    

16. 가로되 當身(당신)의 종들에게 勇士(용사) 五十人(오십인)이 있으니 請(청)컨대 저희로 가서 當身(당신)의 主(주)를 찾게 하소서 念慮(념려)컨대 ^ㄴ여호와의 神(신)이 저를 들어 가다가 어느 山(산)에나 어느 골짜기에 던지셨을까 하나이다 엘리사가 가로되 보내지 말라 하나
    
17. 무리가 저로 ^ㄷ부끄러워 하도록 强請(강청)하매 보내라 한지라 저희가 五十人(오십인)을 보내었더니 사흘을 찾되 發見(발견)하지 못하고
    
18. 엘리사가 여리고에 머무는 中(중)에 무리가 저에게 돌아오니 엘리사가 저희에게 이르되 내가 가지 말라고 너희에게 이르지 아니하였느냐 하였더라
    
19. 그 城(성) 사람들이 엘리사에게 告(고)하되 우리 主(주)께서 보시는 바와 같이 이 城邑(성읍)의 터는 아름다우나 물이 좋지 못하므로 土産(토산)이 익지 못하고 떨어지나이다
    
20. 엘리사가 가로되 새 그릇에 소금을 담아 내게로 가져오라 하매 곧 가져온지라
    

16. Ils lui dirent: Voici, il y a parmi tes serviteurs cinquante hommes vaillants; veux-tu qu'ils aillent chercher ton maître? Peut-être que l'esprit de l'Éternel l'a emporté et l'a jeté sur quelque montagne ou dans quelque vallée. Il répondit: Ne les envoyez pas.
    
17. Mais ils le pressèrent longtemps; et il dit: Envoyez-les. Ils envoyèrent les cinquante hommes, qui cherchèrent Élie pendant trois jours et ne le trouvèrent point.
    
18. Lorsqu'ils furent de retour auprès d'Élisée, qui était à Jéricho, il leur dit: Ne vous avais-je pas dit: N'allez pas?
    
19. Les gens de la ville dirent à Élisée: Voici, le séjour de la ville est bon, comme le voit mon seigneur; mais les eaux sont mauvaises, et le pays est stérile.
    
20. Il dit: Apportez-moi un plat neuf, et mettez-y du sel. Et ils le lui apportèrent.
    

16. "Look," they said, "we your servants have fifty able men. Let them go and look for your master. Perhaps the Spirit of the LORD has picked him up and set him down on some mountain or in some valley." "No," Elisha replied, "do not send them."
    
17. But they persisted until he was too ashamed to refuse. So he said, "Send them." And they sent fifty men, who searched for three days but did not find him.
    
18. When they returned to Elisha, who was staying in Jericho, he said to them, "Didn't I tell you not to go?"
    
19. The men of the city said to Elisha, "Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive."
    
20. "Bring me a new bowl," he said, "and put salt in it." So they brought it to him.
    

21. 엘리사가 물 根源(근원)으로 나아가서 ^ㄹ소금을 그 가운데 던지며 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 내가 이 물을 고쳤으니 이로 좇아 다시는 죽음이나 土産(토산)이 익지 못하고 떨어짐이 없을지니라 하셨느니라 하니
    
22. 그 물이 엘리사의 말과 같이 고쳐져서 오늘날에 이르렀더라
    
23. 엘리사가 거기서 벧엘로 올라가더니 길에 行(행)할 때에 젊은 아이들이 城(성)에서 나와서 저를 嘲弄(조롱)하여 가로되 대머리여, 올라가라 대머리여, 올라가라 하는지라
    
24. 엘리사가 돌이켜 저희를 보고 ^ㅁ여호와의 이름으로 詛呪(저주)하매 곧 수풀에서 암콤 둘이 나와서 아이들 中(중)에 四十二名(사십이명)을 찢었더라
    
25. 엘리사가 거기서부터 ^ㅂ갈멜山(산)으로 가고 거기서 ^ㅅ사마리아로 돌아왔더라
    

21. Il alla vers la source des eaux, et il y jeta du sel, et dit: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: J'assainis ces eaux; il n'en proviendra plus ni mort, ni stérilité.
    
22. Et les eaux furent assainies, jusqu'à ce jour, selon la parole qu'Élisée avait prononcée.
    
23. Il monta de là à Béthel; et comme il cheminait à la montée, des petits garçons sortirent de la ville, et se moquèrent de lui. Ils lui disaient: Monte, chauve! monte, chauve!
    
24. Il se retourna pour les regarder, et il les maudit au nom de l'Éternel. Alors deux ours sortirent de la forêt, et déchirèrent quarante-deux de ces enfants.
    
25. De là il alla sur la montagne du Carmel, d'où il retourna à Samarie.
    

21. Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, "This is what the LORD says: 'I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.'"
    
22. And the water has remained wholesome to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.
    
23. From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!"
    
24. He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.
    
25. And he went on to Mount Carmel and from there returned to Samaria.
