1. 아람 王(왕) ^ㅐ벤하닷이 그 軍隊(군대)를 다 모으니 ^ㄱ王(왕) 三十二人(삼십이인)이 저와 함께 있고 또 말과 兵車(병거)들이 있더라 이에 올라가서 ^ㄴ사마리아를 에워싸고 치며
   
2. 使者(사자)들을 城中(성중) 이스라엘 王(왕) 아합에게 보내어 이르기를 벤하닷은 이르노니
   
3. 네 銀(은),金(금)은 내 것이요 네 妻(처)들과 네 子女(자녀)들의 아름다운 者(자)도 내 것이니라 하매
   
4. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 對答(대답)하여 말하기를 내 主(주), 王(왕)이여 王(왕)의 말씀 같이 나와 나의 것은 다 王(왕)의 것이니이다 하였더니
   
5. 使者(사자)가 다시 와서 이르기를 벤하닷은 이르노라 내가 이미 네게 보내어 말하기를 너는 네 銀(은),金(금)과 妻(처)들과 子女(자녀)들을 내게 붙이라 하였거니와
   

1. Ben Hadad, roi de Syrie, rassembla toute son armée; il avait avec lui trente-deux rois, des chevaux et des chars. Il monta, mit le siège devant Samarie et l'attaqua.
   
2. Il envoya dans la ville des messagers à Achab, roi d'Israël,
   
3. et lui fit dire: Ainsi parle Ben Hadad: Ton argent et ton or sont à moi, tes femmes et tes plus beaux enfants sont à moi.
   
4. Le roi d'Israël répondit: Roi, mon seigneur, comme tu le dis, je suis à toi avec tout ce que j'ai.
   
5. Les messagers retournèrent, et dirent: Ainsi parle Ben Hadad: Je t'ai fait dire: Tu me livreras ton argent et ton or, tes femmes et tes enfants.
   

1. Now Ben-Hadad king of Aram mustered his entire army. Accompanied by thirty-two kings with their horses and chariots, he went up and besieged Samaria and attacked it.
   
2. He sent messengers into the city to Ahab king of Israel, saying, "This is what Ben-Hadad says:
   
3. 'Your silver and gold are mine, and the best of your wives and children are mine.'"
   
4. The king of Israel answered, "Just as you say, my lord the king. I and all I have are yours."
   
5. The messengers came again and said, "This is what Ben-Hadad says: 'I sent to demand your silver and gold, your wives and your children.
   

6. 來日(래일) 이맘때에 내가 내 信服(신복)을 네게 보내리니 저희가 네 집과 네 信服(신복)의 집을 搜探(수탐)하여 ^ㄷ무릇 네 눈이 기뻐하는 것을 그 손으로 잡아 가져 가리라 한지라
   
7. 이에 이스라엘 王(왕)이 ^ㄹ나라의 長老(장로)를 다 불러 이르되 ^ㅁ너희는 이 사람이 殘骸(잔해)하려고 求(구)하는 줄을 仔細(자세)히 알라 저가 나의 妻(처)들과 子女(자녀)들과 銀(은),金(금)을 取(취)하려고 사람을 내게 보내었으나 내가 拒絶(거절)치 못하였노라
   
8. 모든 長老(장로)와 百姓(백성)들이 다 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 王(왕)은 듣지도 말고 許諾(허락)지도 마옵소서 한지라
   
9. 그러므로 王(왕)이 벤하닷의 使者(사자)에게 이르되 너희는 내 主(주), 王(왕)께 告(고)하기를 王(왕)이 처음에 보내어 종에게 求(구)하신 것은 내가 다 그대로 하려니와 이것은 내가 할 수 없나이다 하라 使者(사자)들이 돌아가서 告(고)하니라
   
10. 벤하닷이 다시 저에게 보내어 이르되 사마리아의 부스러진 것이 ^ㅂ나를 좇는 百姓(백성)의 무리의 손에 채우기에 足(족)할 것 같으면 ^ㅅ神(신)들이 내게 罰(벌)위에 罰(벌)을 내림이 마땅하니라 하매
    

6. J'enverrai donc demain, à cette heure, mes serviteurs chez toi; ils fouilleront ta maison et les maisons de tes serviteurs, ils mettront la main sur tout ce que tu as de précieux, et ils l'emporteront.
   
7. Le roi d'Israël appela tous les anciens du pays, et il dit: Sentez bien et comprenez que cet homme nous veut du mal; car il m'a envoyé demander mes femmes et mes enfants, mon argent et mon or, et je ne lui avais pas refusé!
   
8. Tous les anciens et tout le peuple dirent à Achab: Ne l'écoute pas et ne consens pas.
   
9. Et il dit aux messagers de Ben Hadad: Dites à mon seigneur le roi: Je ferai tout ce que tu as envoyé demander à ton serviteur la première fois; mais pour cette chose, je ne puis pas la faire. Les messagers s'en allèrent, et lui portèrent la réponse.
   
10. Ben Hadad envoya dire à Achab: Que les dieux me traitent dans toute leur rigueur, si la poussière de Samarie suffit pour remplir le creux de la main de tout le peuple qui me suit!
    

6. But about this time tomorrow I am going to send my officials to search your palace and the houses of your officials. They will seize everything you value and carry it away.'"
   
7. The king of Israel summoned all the elders of the land and said to them, "See how this man is looking for trouble! When he sent for my wives and my children, my silver and my gold, I did not refuse him."
   
8. The elders and the people all answered, "Don't listen to him or agree to his demands."
   
9. So he replied to Ben-Hadad's messengers, "Tell my lord the king, 'Your servant will do all you demanded the first time, but this demand I cannot meet.'" They left and took the answer back to Ben-Hadad.
   
10. Then Ben-Hadad sent another message to Ahab: "May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if enough dust remains in Samaria to give each of my men a handful."
    

11. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 甲(갑)옷 입은 者(자)가 甲(갑)옷 벗는 者(자) 같이 자랑치 못할 것이라 하라 하니라
    
12. 벤하닷이 王(왕)들과 帳幕(장막)에서 ^ㅇ마시다가 이 말을 듣고 그 信服(신복)에게 이르되 너희는 陣(진)을 베풀라 하매 곧 城(성)을 向(향)하여 陣(진)을 베푸니라
    
13. 한 先知者(선지자)가 이스라엘 王(왕) 아합에게 나아가서 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 네가 이 큰 무리를 보느냐 ^ㅈ내가 오늘 저희를 네 손에 붙이리니 ^ㅊ너는 내가 여호와인줄 알리라 하셨나이다
    
14. 아합이 가로되 누구로 하시리이까 對答(대답)하되 여호와의 말씀이 各(각) 道(도)의 方伯(방백)의 少年(소년)들로 하리라 하셨나이다 아합이 가로되 누가 싸움을 始作(시작)하리이까 對答(대답)하되 王(왕)이니이다
    
15. 아합이 이에 各(각) 道(도)의 方伯(방백)의 少年(소년)들을 計數(계수)하니 二百(이백) 三十二人(삼십이인)이요 그 外(외)에 모든 百姓(백성) 곧 이스라엘의 모든 子孫(자손)을 計數(계수)하니 七千人(칠천인)이더라
    

11. Et le roi d'Israël répondit: Que celui qui revêt une armure ne se glorifie pas comme celui qui la dépose!
    
12. Lorsque Ben Hadad reçut cette réponse, il était à boire avec les rois sous les tentes, et il dit à ses serviteurs: Faites vos préparatifs! Et ils firent leurs préparatifs contre la ville.
    
13. Mais voici, un prophète s'approcha d'Achab, roi d'Israël, et il dit: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Vois-tu toute cette grande multitude? Je vais la livrer aujourd'hui entre tes mains, et tu sauras que je suis l'Éternel.
    
14. Achab dit: Par qui? Et il répondit: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Par les serviteurs des chefs des provinces. Achab dit: Qui engagera le combat? Et il répondit: Toi.
    
15. Alors Achab passa en revue les serviteurs des chefs des provinces, et il s'en trouva deux cent trente-deux; et après eux, il p濐˼ 濐˼ 놠̄ 㵰ʥ 瀸˼ 濰˼ 䀀 濰˼ aël, et ils étaient sept mille.
    

11. The king of Israel answered, "Tell him: 'One who puts on his armor should not boast like one who takes it off.'"
    
12. Ben-Hadad heard this message while he and the kings were drinking in their tents, and he ordered his men: "Prepare to attack." So they prepared to attack the city.
    
13. Meanwhile a prophet came to Ahab king of Israel and announced, "This is what the LORD says: 'Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and then you will know that I am the LORD.'"
    
14. "But who will do this?" asked Ahab. The prophet replied, "This is what the LORD says: 'The young officers of the provincial commanders will do it.'" "And who will start the battle?" he asked. The prophet answered, "You will."
    
15. So Ahab summoned the young officers of the provincial commanders, 232 men. Then he assembled the rest of the Israelites, 7,000 in all.
    

16. 저희가 午正(오정)에 나가니 벤하닷은 帳幕(장막)에서 돕는 王(왕) 三十(삼십) 二人(이인)으로 더불어 마시고 醉(취)한 中(중)이라
    
17. 各(각) 道(도)의 方伯(방백)의 少年(소년)들이 먼저 나갔더라 벤하닷이 探知軍(탐지군)을 보내었더니 저희가 回報(회보)하여 가로되 사마리아에서 사람들이 나오더이다 하매
    
18. 저가 이르되 和親(화친)하러 나올지라도 사로잡고 싸우러 나올지라도 사로잡으라 하니라
    
19. 各(각) 道(도)의 方伯(방백)의 少年(소년)들과 저희를 좇는 軍隊(군대)들이 城(성)에서 나가서
    
20. 各各(각각) 敵軍(적군)을 쳐 죽이매 아람 사람이 逃亡(도망)하는지라 이스라엘이 쫓으니 아람 王(왕) 벤하닷이 말을 타고 馬兵(마병)으로 더불어 逃亡(도망)하여 免(면)하니라
    

16. Ils firent une sortie à midi. Ben Hadad buvait et s'enivrait sous les tentes avec les trente-deux rois, ses auxiliaires.
    
17. Les serviteurs des chefs des provinces sortirent les premiers. Ben Hadad s'informa, et on lui fit ce rapport: Des hommes sont sortis de Samarie.
    
18. Il dit: S'ils sortent pour la paix, saisissez-les vivants; et s'ils sortent pour le combat, saisissez-les vivants.
    
19. Lorsque les serviteurs des chefs des provinces et l'armée qui les suivait furent sortis de la ville,
    
20. chacun frappa son homme, et les Syriens prirent la fuite. Israël les poursuivit. Ben Hadad, roi de Syrie, se sauva sur un cheval, avec des cavaliers.
    

16. They set out at noon while Ben-Hadad and the 32 kings allied with him were in their tents getting drunk.
    
17. The young officers of the provincial commanders went out first. Now Ben-Hadad had dispatched scouts, who reported, "Men are advancing from Samaria."
    
18. He said, "If they have come out for peace, take them alive; if they have come out for war, take them alive."
    
19. The young officers of the provincial commanders marched out of the city with the army behind them
    
20. and each one struck down his opponent. At that, the Arameans fled, with the Israelites in pursuit. But Ben-Hadad king of Aram escaped on horseback with some of his horsemen.
    

21. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 나가서 말과 兵車(병거)를 치고 또 아람 사람을 쳐서 크게 屠戮(도륙)하였더라
    
22. ^ㅋ그 先知者(선지자)가 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 나아와 가로되 王(왕)은 가서 힘을 기르고 王(왕)의 行(행)할 일을 알고 準備(준비)하소서 ^ㅌ해가 돌아오면 아람 王(왕)이 王(왕)을 치러 오리이다 하니라
    
23. 아람 王(왕)의 信服(신복)들이 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 저희의 神(신)은 山(산)의 神(신)이므로 저희가 우리보다 强(강)하였거니와 우리가 萬一(만일) 平地(평지)에서 저희와 싸우면 丁寧(정녕) 저희보다 强(강)할지라
    
24. 王(왕)은 이 일을 行(행)하실지니 곧 王(왕)들을 除(제)하여 各各(각각) 그곳에서 떠나게 하고 저희 代身(대신)에 長官(장관)들을 두시고
    
25. 또 王(왕)의 잃어버린 軍隊(군대)와 같은 軍隊(군대)를 王(왕)을 爲(위)하여 充數(충수)하고 말도 말대로, 兵車(병거)도 兵車(병거)대로 充數(충수)하고 우리가 平地(평지)에서 저희와 싸우면 丁寧(정녕) 저희보다 强(강)하리이다 王(왕)이 그 말을 듣고 그리하니라
    

21. Le roi d'Israël sortit, frappa les chevaux et les chars, et fit éprouver aux Syriens une grande défaite.
    
22. Alors le prophète s'approcha du roi d'Israël, et lui dit: Va, fortifie toi, examine et vois ce que tu as à faire; car, au retour de l'année, le roi de Syrie montera contre toi.
    
23. Les serviteurs du roi de Syrie lui dirent: Leur dieu est un dieu de montagnes; c'est pourquoi ils ont été plus forts que nous. Mais combattons-les dans la plaine, et l'on verra si nous ne serons pas plus forts qu'eux.
    
24. Fais encore ceci: ôte chacun des rois de son poste, et remplace-les par des chefs;
    
25. et forme-toi une armée pareille à celle que tu as perdue, avec autant de chevaux et autant de chars. Puis nous les combattrons dans la plaine, et l'on verra si nous ne serons pas plus forts qu'eux. Il les écouta, et fit ainsi.
    

21. The king of Israel advanced and overpowered the horses and chariots and inflicted heavy losses on the Arameans.
    
22. Afterward, the prophet came to the king of Israel and said, "Strengthen your position and see what must be done, because next spring the king of Aram will attack you again."
    
23. Meanwhile, the officials of the king of Aram advised him, "Their gods are gods of the hills. That is why they were too strong for us. But if we fight them on the plains, surely we will be stronger than they.
    
24. Do this: Remove all the kings from their commands and replace them with other officers.
    
25. You must also raise an army like the one you lost--horse for horse and chariot for chariot--so we can fight Israel on the plains. Then surely we will be stronger than they." He agreed with them and acted accordingly.
    

26. 해가 돌아오매 벤하닷이 아람 사람을 點考(점고)하고 ^ㅍ아벡으로 올라와서 이스라엘과 싸우려 하매
    
27. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)도 點考(점고)함을 입고 軍糧(군량)을 받고 마주 나가서 저희 앞에 陣(진)을 치니 이스라엘은 염소 새끼의 두 적은 떼와 같고 아람 사람은 그 땅에 가득하였더라
    
28. 하나님의 사람이 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 나아와 告(고)하여 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 아람 사람이 말하기를 ^ㅏ여호와는 山(산)의 神(신)이요 골짜기의 神(신)은 아니라 하도다 그러므로 ^ㅑ내가 이 큰 軍隊(군대)를 다 네 손에 붙이리니 너희는 내가 여호와인줄 알리라 하셨나이다 하니라
    
29. 陣(진)이 서로 對(대)한지 七日(칠일)이라 第(제) 七日(칠일)에 接戰(접전)하여 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 하루에 아람 步兵(보병) 十萬(십만)을 죽이매
    
30. 그 남은 者(자)는 아벡으로 逃亡(도망)하여 城邑(성읍)으로 들어갔더니 그 城(성)이 그 남은 者(자) 二萬(이만) 七千(칠천) 위에 무너지고 벤하닷은 逃亡(도망)하여 城邑(성읍)에 이르러 ^ㅓ골房(방)으로 들어가니라
    

26. L'année suivante, Ben Hadad passa les Syriens en revue, et monta vers Aphek pour combattre Israël.
    
27. Les enfants d'Israël furent aussi passés en revue; ils reçurent des vivres, et ils marchèrent à la rencontre des Syriens. Ils campèrent vis-à-vis d'eux, semblables à deux petits troupeaux de chèvres, tandis que les Syriens remplissaient le pays.
    
28. L'homme de Dieu s'approcha, et dit au roi d'Israël: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Parce que les Syriens ont dit: L'Éternel est un dieu des montagnes et non un dieu des vallées, je livrerai toute cette grande multitude entre tes mains, et vous saurez que je suis l'Éternel.
    
29. Ils campèrent sept jours en face les uns des autres. Le septième jour, le combat s'engagea, et les enfants d'Israël tuèrent aux Syriens cent mille hommes de pied en un jour.
    
30. Le reste s'enfuit à la ville d'Aphek, et la muraille tomba sur vingt-sept mille hommes qui restaient. Ben Hadad s'était réfugié dans la ville, où il allait de chambre en chambre.
    

26. The next spring Ben-Hadad mustered the Arameans and went up to Aphek to fight against Israel.
    
27. When the Israelites were also mustered and given provisions, they marched out to meet them. The Israelites camped opposite them like two small flocks of goats, while the Arameans covered the countryside.
    
28. The man of God came up and told the king of Israel, "This is what the LORD says: 'Because the Arameans think the LORD is a god of the hills and not a god of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands, and you will know that I am the LORD.'"
    
29. For seven days they camped opposite each other, and on the seventh day the battle was joined. The Israelites inflicted a hundred thousand casualties on the Aramean foot soldiers in one day.
    
30. The rest of them escaped to the city of Aphek, where the wall collapsed on twenty-seven thousand of them. And Ben-Hadad fled to the city and hid in an inner room.
    

31. 그 信服(신복)들이 저에게 告(고)하되 우리가 들은즉 이스라엘 집의 王(왕)들은 仁慈(인자)한 王(왕)이라 하니 萬一(만일) 우리가 ^ㅕ굵은 베로 허리를 묶고 테두리를 머리에 이고 이스라엘 王(왕)에게로 나아가면 저가 或時(혹시) 王(왕)의 生命(생명)을 살리리이다 하고
    
32. 저희가 굵은 베로 허리를 묶고 테두리를 머리에 이고 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 이르러 가로되 王(왕)의 종 벤하닷이 請(청)하기를 나의 生命(생명)을 살려주옵소서 하더이다 아합이 가로되 저가 오히려 살았느냐 저는 나의 兄弟(형제)니라
    
33. 그 사람들이 徵兆(징조)로 여기고 그 말을 얼른 받아 對答(대답)하여 가로되 벤하닷은 王(왕)의 兄弟(형제)니이다 王(왕)이 가로되 너희는 가서 저를 引導(인도)하여 오라 벤하닷이 이에 王(왕)에게 나아오니 王(왕)이 저를 兵車(병거)에 올린지라
    
34. 벤하닷이 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 내 父親(부친)이 當身(당신)의 父親(부친)에게서 빼앗은 ^ㅗ모든 城邑(성읍)을 내가 돌려 보내리이다 또 나의 父親(부친)이 사마리아에서 만든것 같이 當身(당신)도 ^ㅛ다메섹에서 當身(당신)을 爲(위)하여 거리를 만드소서 아합이 가로되 내가 이 約條(약조)로 當身(당신)을 놓으리라 하고 이에 더불어 約條(약조)하고 저를 놓았더라
    
35. ^ㅜ先知者(선지자)의 무리 中(중) 한 사람이 ^ㅠ여호와의 말씀으로 그 동무에게 이르되 너는 나를 치라 하였더니 그 사람이 치기를 싫어하는지라
    

31. Ses serviteurs lui dirent: Voici, nous avons appris que les rois de la maison d'Israël sont des rois miséricordieux; nous allons mettre des sacs sur nos reins et des cordes à nos têtes, et nous sortirons vers le roi d'Israël: peut-être qu'il te laissera la vie.
    
32. Ils se mirent des sacs autour des reins et des cordes autour de la tête, et ils allèrent auprès du roi d'Israël. Ils dirent: Ton serviteur Ben Hadad dit: Laisse-moi la vie! Achab répondit: Est-il encore vivant? Il est mon frère.
    
33. Ces hommes tirèrent de là un bon augure, et ils se hâtèrent de le prendre au mot et de dire: Ben Hadad est ton frère! Et il dit: Allez, amenez-le. Ben Hadad vint vers lui, et Achab le fit monter sur son char.
    
34. Ben Hadad lui dit: Je te rendrai les villes que mon père a prises à ton père; et tu établiras pour toi des rues à Damas, comme mon père en avait établies à Samarie. Et mo濐˼ 濐˼ 놠̄ 㵰ʥ 瀸˼ 濰˼ 䀀 濰˼ ne alliance. Il fit alliance avec lui, et le laissa aller.
    
35. L'un des fils des prophètes dit à son compagnon, d'après l'ordre de l'Éternel: Frappe-moi, je te prie! Mais cet homme refusa de le frapper.
    

31. His officials said to him, "Look, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful. Let us go to the king of Israel with sackcloth around our waists and ropes around our heads. Perhaps he will spare your life."
    
32. Wearing sackcloth around their waists and ropes around their heads, they went to the king of Israel and said, "Your servant Ben-Hadad says: 'Please let me live.'" The king answered, "Is he still alive? He is my brother."
    
33. The men took this as a good sign and were quick to pick up his word. "Yes, your brother Ben-Hadad!" they said. "Go and get him," the king said. When Ben-Hadad came out, Ahab had him come up into his chariot.
    
34. "I will return the cities my father took from your father," Ben-Hadad offered. "You may set up your own market areas in Damascus, as my father did in Samaria." Ahab said,"On the basis of a treaty I will set you free." So he made a treaty with him, and let him go.
    
35. By the word of the LORD one of the sons of the prophets said to his companion, "Strike me with your weapon," but the man refused.
    

36. 저가 그 사람에게 이르되 네가 여호와의 말씀을 듣지 아니하였으니 네가 나를 떠나갈 때에 獅子(사자)가 너를 죽이리라 그 사람이 저의 곁을 떠나가더니 ^으獅子(사자)가 그를 만나 죽였더라
    
37. 저가 또 다른 사람을 만나 가로되 너는 나를 치라 하매 그 사람이 저를 치되 傷(상)하도록 친지라
    
38. 先知者(선지자)가 가서 手巾(수건)으로 그 눈을 가리워 ^이變形(변형)하고 길 가에서 王(왕)을 기다리다가
    
39. 王(왕)이 지나갈 때에 소리질러 王(왕)을 불러 가로되 종이 戰場(전장) 가운데 나갔더니 한 사람이 돌이켜 어떤 사람을 끌고 내게로 와서 말하기를 이 사람을 지키라 萬一(만일) 저를 잃어버리면 ^ㅐ네 生命(생명)으로 저의 生命(생명)을 代身(대신)하거나 그렇지 아니하면 네가 銀(은) 한달란트를 내어야 하리라 하였거늘
    
40. 종이 이리 저리 일 볼 동안에 저가 없어졌나이다 이스라엘 王(왕)이 저에게 이르되 네가 스스로 決定(결정)하였으니 그대로 當(당)하여야 하리라
    

36. Alors il lui dit: Parce que tu n'as pas obéi à la voix de l'Éternel, voici, quand tu m'auras quitté, le lion te frappera. Et quand il l'eut quitté, le lion le rencontra et le frappa.
    
37. Il trouva un autre homme, et il dit: Frappe-moi, je te prie! Cet homme le frappa et le blessa.
    
38. Le prophète alla se placer sur le chemin du roi, et il se déguisa avec un bandeau sur les yeux.
    
39. Lorsque le roi passa, il cria vers lui, et dit: Ton serviteur était au milieu du combat; et voici, un homme s'approche et m'amène un homme, en disant: Garde cet homme; s'il vient à manquer, ta vie répondra de sa vie, ou tu paieras un talent d'argent!
    
40. Et pendant que ton serviteur agissait çà et là, l'homme a disparu. Le roi d'Israël lui dit: C'est là ton jugement; tu l'as prononcé toi-même.
    

36. So the prophet said, "Because you have not obeyed the LORD, as soon as you leave me a lion will kill you." And after the man went away, a lion found him and killed him.
    
37. The prophet found another man and said, "Strike me, please." So the man struck him and wounded him.
    
38. Then the prophet went and stood by the road waiting for the king. He disguised himself with his headband down over his eyes.
    
39. As the king passed by, the prophet called out to him, "Your servant went into the thick of the battle, and someone came to me with a captive and said, 'Guard this man. If he is missing, it will be your life for his life, or you must pay a talent of silver.'
    
40. While your servant was busy here and there, the man disappeared." "That is your sentence," the king of Israel said. "You have pronounced it yourself."
    

41. 저가 急(급)히 그 눈에 가리운 手巾(수건)을 벗으니 이스라엘 王(왕)이 저는 先知者(선지자) 中(중) 한 사람인 줄 알아 본지라
    
42. 저가 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 여호와의 말씀이 내가 滅(멸)하기로 作定(작정)한 사람을 네 손으로 놓았은즉 네 목숨은 저의 목숨을 代身(대신)하고 네 百姓(백성)은 저의 百姓(백성)을 代身(대신)하리라 하셨나이다
    
43. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 근심하고 沓沓(답답)하여 ^ㄱ그 宮(궁)으로 돌아가려고 사마리아에 이르니라
    

41. Aussitôt le prophète ôta le bandeau de dessus ses yeux, et le roi d'Israël le reconnut pour l'un des prophètes.
    
42. Il dit alors au roi: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Parce que tu as laissé échapper de tes mains l'homme que j'avais dévoué par interdit, ta vie répondra de sa vie, et ton peuple de son peuple.
    
43. Le roi d'Israël s'en alla chez lui, triste et irrité, et il arriva à Samarie.
    

41. Then the prophet quickly removed the headband from his eyes, and the king of Israel recognized him as one of the prophets.
    
42. He said to the king, "This is what the LORD says: 'You have set free a man I had determined should die. Therefore it is your life for his life, your people for his people.'"
    
43. Sullen and angry, the king of Israel went to his palace in Samaria.
