사무엘하(2 Samuel) 18장 [개역한글 : LSG1910 : NIV]

1. 이에 다윗이 그 함께한 百姓(백성)을 計數(계수)하고 千夫長(천부장)과 百夫長(백부장)을 그 위에 세우고
   
2. 그 百姓(백성)을 내어 보낼새 三分之(삼분지) 一(일)은 요압의 手下(수하)에, 三分之(삼분지) 一(일)은 스루야의 아들 요압의 同生(동생) 아비새의 手下(수하)에 붙이고, 三分之(삼분지) 一(일)은 가드 사람 ^ㅓ잇대의 手下(수하)에 붙이고 百姓(백성)에게 이르되 나도 반드시 너희와 함께 나가리라
   
3. ^ㅕ百姓(백성)들이 가로되 王(왕)은 나가지 마소서 우리가 逃亡(도망)할지라도 저희는 우리에게 注意(주의)하지 아니할 터이요 우리가 折半(절반)이나 죽을지라도 우리에게 注意(주의)하지 아니할 터이라 王(왕)은 우리 萬名(만명)보다 重(중)하시오니 王(왕)은 城(성)에 계시다가 우리를 도우심이 좋으니이다
   
4. 王(왕)이 저희에게 이르되 너희가 善(선)히 여기는대로 내가 行(행)하리라 하고 門(문) 곁에 서매 모든 百姓(백성)이 百名(백명)씩 千名(천명)씩 隊(대)를 지어 나가는지라
   
5. 王(왕)이 요압과 아비새와 잇대에게 命(명)하여 가로되 나를 爲(위)하여 少年(소년) 압살롬을 너그러이 待接(대접)하라 하니 王(왕)이 압살롬을 爲(위)하여 모든 軍長(군장)에게 命令(명령)할 때에 ^ㅗ百姓(백성)들이 다 들으니라
   

1. David passa en revue le peuple qui était avec lui, et il établit sur eux des chefs de milliers et des chefs de centaines.
   
2. Il plaça le tiers du peuple sous le commandement de Joab, le tiers sous celui d'Abischaï, fils de Tseruja, frère de Joab, et le tiers sous celui d'Ittaï, de Gath. Et le roi dit au peuple: Moi aussi, je veux sortir avec vous.
   
3. Mais le peuple dit: Tu ne sortiras point! Car si nous prenons la fuite, ce n'est pas sur nous que l'attention se portera; et quand la moitié d'entre nous succomberait, on n'y ferait pas attention; mais toi, tu es comme dix mille de nous, et maintenant il vaut mieux que de la ville tu puisses venir à notre secours.
   
4. Le roi leur répondit: Je ferai ce qui vous paraît bon. Et le roi se tint à côté de la porte, pendant que tout le peuple sortait par centaines et par milliers.
   
5. Le roi donna cet ordre à Joab, à Abischaï et à Ittaï: Pour l'amour de moi, doucement avec le jeune Absalom! Et tout le peuple entendit l'ordre du roi à tous les chefs au sujet d'Absalom.
   

1. David mustered the men who were with him and appointed over them commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds.
   
2. David sent the troops out--a third under the command of Joab, a third under Joab's brother Abishai son of Zeruiah, and a third under Ittai the Gittite. The king told the troops, "I myself will surely march out with you."
   
3. But the men said, "You must not go out; if we are forced to flee, they won't care about us. Even if half of us die, they won't care; but you are worth ten thousand of us. It would be better now for you to give us support from the city."
   
4. The king answered, "I will do whatever seems best to you." So the king stood beside the gate while all the men marched out in units of hundreds and of thousands.
   
5. The king commanded Joab, Abishai and Ittai, "Be gentle with the young man Absalom for my sake." And all the troops heard the king giving orders concerning Absalom to each of the commanders.
   

6. 이에 百姓(백성)이 이스라엘을 치러 들로 나가서 ^ㅛ에브라임 수풀에서 싸우더니
   
7. 거기서 이스라엘 무리가 다윗의 心腹(심복)들에게 敗(패)하매 그날 그곳에서 殺戮(살륙)이 커서 二萬(이만)에 이르렀고
   
8. 그 땅에서 四面(사면)으로 퍼져 싸웠으므로 그 날에 수풀에서 죽은 者(자)가 칼에 죽은 者(자)보다 많았더라
   
9. 압살롬이 다윗의 信服(신복)과 마주치니라 압살롬이 노새를 탔는데 그 노새가 큰 상수리나무 蕃盛(번성)한 가지 아래로 지날 때에 ^ㅜ압살롬의 머리털이 그 상수리나무에 걸리매 저가 空中(공중)에 달리고 그 탔던 노새는 그 아래로 빠져 나간지라
   
10. 한 사람이 보고 요압에게 告(고)하여 가로되 내가 보니 압살롬이 상수리나무에 달렸더이다
    

6. Le peuple sortit dans les champs à la rencontre d'Israël, et la bataille eut lieu dans la forêt d'Éphraïm.
   
7. Là, le peuple d'Israël fut battu par les serviteurs de David, et il y eut en ce jour une grande défaite de vingt mille hommes.
   
8. Le combat s'étendit sur toute la contrée, et la forêt dévora plus de peuple ce jour-là que l'épée n'en dévora.
   
9. Absalom se trouva en présence des gens de David. Il était monté sur un mulet. Le mulet pénétra sous les branches entrelacées d'un grand térébinthe, et la tête d'Absalom fut prise au térébinthe; il demeura suspendu entre le ciel et la terre, et le mulet qui était sous lui passa outre.
   
10. Un homme ayant vu cela vint dire à Joab: Voici, j'ai vu Absalom suspendu à un térébinthe.
    

6. The army marched into the field to fight Israel, and the battle took place in the forest of Ephraim.
   
7. There the army of Israel was defeated by David's men, and the casualties that day were great--twenty thousand men.
   
8. The battle spread out over the whole countryside, and the forest claimed more lives that day than the sword.
   
9. Now Absalom happened to meet David's men. He was riding his mule, and as the mule went under the thick branches of a large oak, Absalom's head got caught in the tree. He was left hanging in midair, while the mule he was riding kept on going.
   
10. When one of the men saw this, he told Joab, "I just saw Absalom hanging in an oak tree."
    

11. 요압이 그 告(고)한 사람에게 이르되 네가 보고 어찌하여 當場(당장)에 쳐서 땅에 떨어뜨리지 아니하였느뇨 내가 네게 銀(은) 열箇(개)와 띠 하나를 주었으리라
    
12. 그 사람이 요압에게 對答(대답)하되 내가 내 손에 銀(은) 千箇(천개)를 받는다 할지라도 나는 王(왕)의 아들에게 손을 대지 아니하겠나이다 ^ㅠ우리가 들었거니와 王(왕)이 當身(당신)과 아비새와 잇대에게 命(명)하여 이르시기를 삼가 누구든지 少年(소년) 압살롬을 害(해)하지 말라 하셨나이다
    
13. 아무 일도 王(왕) 앞에는 숨길 수 없나니 내가 萬一(만일) 拒逆(거역)하여 그 生命(생명)을 害(해)하였다면 當身(당신)도 나를 對敵(대적)하였으리이다
    
14. 요압이 가로되 나는 너와 같이 遲滯(지체)할 수 없다 하고 손에 작은 槍(창) 셋을 가지고 가서 상수리나무 가운데서 아직 살아 있는 압살롬의 心臟(심장)을 찌르니
    
15. 요압의 兵器(병기)를 맡은 少年(소년) 열이 압살롬을 에워싸고 쳐죽이니라
    

11. Et Joab dit à l'homme qui lui apporta cette nouvelle: Tu l'as vu! pourquoi donc ne l'as-tu pas abattu sur place? Je t'aurais donné dix sicles d'argent et une ceinture.
    
12. Mais cet homme dit à Joab: Quand je pèserais dans ma main mille sicles d'argent, je ne mettrais pas la main sur le fils du roi; car nous avons entendu cet ordre que le roi t'a donné, à toi, à Abischaï et à Ittaï: Prenez garde chacun au jeune Absalom!
    
13. Et si j'eusse attenté perfidement à sa vie, rien n'aurait été caché au roi, et tu aurais été toi-même contre moi.
    
14. Joab dit: Je ne m'arrêterai pas auprès de toi! Et il prit en main trois javelots, et les enfonça dans le coeur d'Absalom encore plein de vie au milieu du térébinthe.
    
15. Dix jeunes gens, qui portaient les armes de Joab, entourèrent Absalom, le frappèrent et le firent mourir.
    

11. Joab said to the man who had told him this, "What! You saw him? Why didn't you strike him to the ground right there? Then I would have had to give you ten shekels of silver and a warrior's belt."
    
12. But the man replied, "Even if a thousand shekels were weighed out into my hands, I would not lift my hand against the king's son. In our hearing the king commanded you and Abishai and Ittai, 'Protect the young man Absalom for my sake.'
    
13. And if I had put my life in jeopardy--and nothing is hidden from the king--you would have kept your distance from me."
    
14. Joab said, "I'm not going to wait like this for you." So he took three javelins in his hand and plunged them into Absalom's heart while Absalom was still alive in the oak tree.
    
15. And ten of Joab's armor-bearers surrounded Absalom, struck him and killed him.
    

16. 요압이 나팔을 불어 百姓(백성)들로 그치게 하니 저희가 이스라엘을 따르지 아니하고 돌아오니라
    
17. 무리가 압살롬을 옮겨다가 수풀 가운데 큰 구멍에 던지고 그 위에 ^으甚(심)히 큰 돌무더기를 쌓으니라 온 이스라엘 무리가 各其(각기) ^이帳幕(장막)으로 逃亡(도망)하니라
    
18. 압살롬이 살았을 때에 自己(자기)를 爲(위)하여 ^ㅐ한 碑石(비석)을 가져 세웠으니 이는 저가 ^ㄱ自己(자기) 이름을 傳(전)할 아들이 없음을 恨歎(한탄)함이라 그러므로 自己(자기) 이름으로 그 碑石(비석)을 이름하였으며 그 碑石(비석)이 ^ㄴ王(왕)의 골짜기에 있고 이제까지 압살롬의 記念碑(기념비)라 일컫더라
    
19. 사독의 아들 아히마아스가 가로되 ^ㄷ請(청)컨대 나로 빨리 王(왕)에게 가서 ^ㄹ여호와께서 王(왕)의 怨讐(원수) 갚아 주신 消息(소식)을 傳(전)하게 하소서
    
20. 요압이 저에게 이르되 너는 오늘 消息(소식)을 傳(전)하는 者(자)가 되지 말고 다른 날에 傳(전)할 것이니라 王(왕)의 아들이 죽었나니 네가 오늘날 消息(소식)을 傳(전)하지 못하리라 하고
    

16. Joab fit sonner de la trompette; et le peuple revint, cessant ainsi de poursuivre Israël, parce que Joab l'en empêcha.
    
17. Ils prirent Absalom, le jetèrent dans une grande fosse au milieu de la forêt, et mirent sur lui un très grand monceau de pierres. Tout Israël s'enfuit, chacun dans sa tente.
    
18. De son vivant, Absalom s'était fait ériger un monument dans la vallée du roi; car il disait: Je n'ai point de fils par qui le souvenir de mon nom puisse être conservé. Et il donna son propre nom au monument, qu'on appelle encore aujourd'hui monument d'Absalom.
    
19. Achimaats, fils de Tsadok, dit: Laisse-moi courir, et porter au roi la bonne nouvelle que l'Éternel lui a rendu justice en le délivrant de la main de ses ennemis.
    
20. Joab lui dit: Ce n'est pas toi qui dois porter aujourd'hui les nouvelles; tu les porteras un autre jour, mais non aujourd'hui, puisque le fils du roi est mort.
    

16. Then Joab sounded the trumpet, and the troops stopped pursuing Israel, for Joab halted them.
    
17. They took Absalom, threw him into a big pit in the forest and piled up a large heap of rocks over him. Meanwhile, all the Israelites fled to their homes.
    
18. During his lifetime Absalom had taken a pillar and erected it in the King's Valley as a monument to himself, for he thought, "I have no son to carry on the memory of my name." He named the pillar after himself, and it is called Absalom's Monument to this day.
    
19. Now Ahimaaz son of Zadok said, "Let me run and take the news to the king that the LORD has delivered him from the hand of his enemies."
    
20. "You are not the one to take the news today," Joab told him. "You may take the news another time, but you must not do so today, because the king's son is dead."
    

21. 구스 사람에게 이르되 네가 가서 본 것을 王(왕)께 告(고)하라 하매 구스 사람이 요압에게 절하고 달음질하여 가니
    
22. 사독의 아들 아히마아스가 다시 요압에게 이르되 請(청)컨대 아무쪼록 나로 또한 구스 사람의 뒤를 따라 달음질하게 하소서 요압이 가로되 내 아들아 왜 달음질하려 하느냐 이 消息(소식)으로 因(인)하여는 賞(상)을 받지 못하리라 하되
    
23. 저가 아무쪼록 달음질하겠노라 하는지라 요압이 가로되 그리하라 하니 아히마아스가 ^ㅁ들길로 달음질하여 구스 사람보다 앞서니라
    
24. 때에 다윗이 ^ㅂ두 門(문) 사이에 앉았더라 ^ㅅ把守軍(파수군)이 城門樓(성문루)에 올라가서 눈을 들어 보니 어떤 사람이 홀로 달음질하는지라
    
25. 把守軍(파수군)이 외쳐 王(왕)께 告(고)하매 王(왕)이 가로되 저가 萬一(만일) 혼자면 그 입에 消息(소식)이 있으리라 할 때에 저가 次次(차차) 가까이 오니라
    

21. Et Joab dit à Cuschi: Va, et annonce au roi ce que tu as vu. Cuschi se prosterna devant Joab, et courut.
    
22. Achimaats, fils de Tsadok, dit encore à Joab: Quoi qu'il arrive, laisse-moi courir après Cuschi. Et Joab dit: Pourquoi veux-tu courir, mon fils? Ce n'est pas un message qui te sera profitable.
    
23. Quoi qu'il arrive, je veux courir, reprit Achimaats. Et Joab lui dit: Cours! Achimaats courut par le chemin de la plaine, et il devança Cuschi.
    
24. David était assis entre les deux portes. La sentinelle alla sur le toit de la porte vers la muraille; elle leva les yeux et regarda. Et voici, un homme courait tout seul.
    
25. La sentinelle cria, et avertit le roi. Le roi dit: S'il est seul, il apporte des nouvelles. Et cet homme arrivait toujours plus près.
    

21. Then Joab said to a Cushite, "Go, tell the king what you have seen." The Cushite bowed down before Joab and ran off.
    
22. Ahimaaz son of Zadok again said to Joab, "Come what may, please let me run behind the Cushite." But Joab replied, "My son, why do you want to go? You don't have any news that will bring you a reward."
    
23. He said, "Come what may, I want to run." So Joab said, "Run!" Then Ahimaaz ran by way of the plain and outran the Cushite.
    
24. While David was sitting between the inner and outer gates, the watchman went up to the roof of the gateway by the wall. As he looked out, he saw a man running alone.
    
25. The watchman called out to the king and reported it. The king said, "If he is alone, he must have good news." And the man came closer and closer.
    

26. 把守軍(파수군)이 본즉 한 사람이 또 달음질하는지라 門(문)지기에게 외쳐 이르되 보라, 한사람이 또 혼자 달음질한다 하니 王(왕)이 가로되 저도 消息(소식)을 가져오느니라
    
27. 把守軍(파수군)이 가로되 나 보기에는 앞선 사람의 달음질이 ^ㅇ사독의 아들 아히마아스의 달음질과 같으니이다 王(왕)이 가로되 ^ㅈ저는 좋은 사람이니 좋은 消息(소식)을 가져 오느니라
    
28. 아히마아스가 외쳐 王(왕)께 말씀하되 平安(평안)하옵소서 하고 王(왕)의 앞에서 얼굴을 땅에 대고 절하여 가로되 ^ㅊ王(왕)의 하나님 여호와를 讚揚(찬양)하리로소이다 그 손을 들어 내 主(주), 王(왕)을 對敵(대적)하는 者(자)들을 붙여 주셨나이다
    
29. 王(왕)이 가로되 ^ㅋ少年(소년) 압살롬이 잘 있느냐 아히마아스가 對答(대답)하되 요압이 王(왕)의 종, 나를 보낼 때에 크게 騷動(소동)하는것을 보았사오나 무슨 일인지 알지 못하였나이다
    
30. 王(왕)이 가로되 물러나 곁에 서 있으라 하매 물러나서 섰더라
    

26. La sentinelle vit un autre homme qui courait; elle cria au portier: Voici un homme qui court tout seul. Le roi dit: Il apporte aussi des nouvelles.
    
27. La sentinelle dit: La manière de courir du premier me paraît celle d'Achimaats, fils de Tsadok. Et le roi dit: C'est un homme de bien, et il apporte de bonnes nouvelles.
    
28. Achimaats cria, et il dit au roi: Tout va bien! Il se prosterna devant le roi la face contre terre, et dit: Béni soit l'Éternel, ton Dieu, qui a livré les hommes qui levaient la main contre le roi mon seigneur!
    
29. Le roi dit: Le jeune Absalom est-il en bonne santé? Achimaats répondit: J'ai aperçu un grand tumulte au moment où Joab envoya le serviteur du roi et moi ton serviteur; mais je ne sais ce que c'était.
    
30. Et le roi dit: Mets-toi là de côté. Et Achimaats se tint de côté.
    

26. Then the watchman saw another man running, and he called down to the gatekeeper, "Look, another man running alone!" The king said, "He must be bringing good news, too."
    
27. The watchman said, "It seems to me that the first one runs like Ahimaaz son of Zadok." "He's a good man," the king said. "He comes with good news."
    
28. Then Ahimaaz called out to the king, "All is well!" He bowed down before the king with his face to the ground and said, "Praise be to the LORD your God! He has delivered up the men who lifted their hands against my lord the king."
    
29. The king asked, "Is the young man Absalom safe?" Ahimaaz answered, "I saw great confusion just as Joab was about to send the king's servant and me, your servant, but I don't know what it was."
    
30. The king said, "Stand aside and wait here." So he stepped aside and stood there.
    

31. 구스 사람이 이르러 告(고)하되 내 主(주), 王(왕)께 報(보)할 消息(소식)이 있나이다 ^ㅌ여호와께서 오늘날 王(왕)을 對敵(대적)하던 모든 怨讐(원수)를 갚으셨나이다
    
32. 王(왕)이 구스 사람에게 묻되 少年(소년) 압살롬이 잘 있느냐 구스 사람이 對答(대답)하되 ^ㅍ내 主(주), 王(왕)의 怨讐(원수)와 일어나서 王(왕)을 對敵(대적)하는 者(자)들은 다 그 少年(소년)과 같이 되기를 願(원)하나이다
    
33. 王(왕)의 마음이 甚(심)히 아파 門樓(문루)로 올라가서 우니라 저가 올라갈 때에 말하기를 ^ㅎ내 아들, 압살롬아 내 아들, 내 아들, 압살롬아 내가 너를 代身(대신)하여 죽었더면, 압살롬 내 아들아 내 아들아 하였더라
    

31. Aussitôt arriva Cuschi. Et il dit: Que le roi mon seigneur apprenne la bonne nouvelle! Aujourd'hui l'Éternel t'a rendu justice en te délivrant de la main de tous ceux qui s'élevaient contre toi.
    
32. Le roi dit à Cuschi: Le jeune homme Absalom est-il en bonne santé? Cuschi répondit: Qu'ils soient comme ce jeune homme, les ennemis du roi mon seigneur et tous ceux qui s'élèvent contre toi pour te faire du mal!
    
33. Alors le roi, saisi d'émotion, monta dans la chambre au-dessus de la porte et pleura. Il disait en marchant: Mon fils Absalom! mon fils, mon fils Absalom! Que ne suis-je mort à ta place! Absalom, mon fils, mon fils!
    

31. Then the Cushite arrived and said, "My lord the king, hear the good news! The LORD has delivered you today from all who rose up against you."
    
32. The king asked the Cushite, "Is the young man Absalom safe?" The Cushite replied, "May the enemies of my lord the king and all who rise up to harm you be like that young man."
    
33. The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept. As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! If only I had died instead of you--O Absalom, my son, my son!"
