사무엘하(2 Samuel) 19장 [개역한글 : LSG1910 : NIV]

1. 或(혹)이 요압에게 告(고)하되 王(왕)이 압살롬을 爲(위)하여 울며 슬퍼 하시나이다 하니
   
2. 王(왕)이 그 아들을 爲(위)하여 슬퍼한다 함이 그 날에 百姓(백성)들에게 들리매 그 날의 이김이 모든 百姓(백성)에게 슬픔이 된지라
   
3. 그 날에 百姓(백성)들이 싸움에 쫓겨 부끄러워 逃亡(도망)함 같이 가만히 城(성)으로 들어가니라
   
4. 王(왕)이 ^ㅏ얼굴을 가리우고 큰 소리로 부르되 ^ㅑ내 아들, 압살롬아 압살롬아 내 아들아 내 아들아 하니
   
5. 요압이 집에 들어가서 王(왕)께 말씀하되 王(왕)께서 오늘 王(왕)의 生命(생명)과, 王(왕)의 子女(자녀)의 生命(생명)과, 妻妾(처첩)들의 生命(생명)을 救援(구원)한 모든 信服(신복)의 얼굴을 부끄럽게 하시니
   

1. On vint dire à Joab: Voici, le roi pleure et se lamente à cause d'Absalom.
   
2. Et la victoire, ce jour-là, fut changée en deuil pour tout le peuple, car en ce jour le peuple entendait dire: Le roi est affligé à cause de son fils.
   
3. Ce même jour, le peuple rentra dans la ville à la dérobée, comme l'auraient fait des gens honteux d'avoir pris la fuite dans le combat.
   
4. Le roi s'était couvert le visage, et il criait à haute voix: Mon fils Absalom! Absalom, mon fils, mon fils!
   
5. Joab entra dans la chambre où était le roi, et dit: Tu couvres aujourd'hui de confusion la face de tous tes serviteurs, qui ont aujourd'hui sauvé ta vie, celle de tes fils et de tes filles, celle de tes femmes et de tes concubines.
   

1. Joab was told, "The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom."
   
2. And for the whole army the victory that day was turned into mourning, because on that day the troops heard it said, "The king is grieving for his son."
   
3. The men stole into the city that day as men steal in who are ashamed when they flee from battle.
   
4. The king covered his face and cried aloud, "O my son Absalom! O Absalom, my son, my son!"
   
5. Then Joab went into the house to the king and said, "Today you have humiliated all your men, who have just saved your life and the lives of your sons and daughters and the lives of your wives and concubines.
   

6. 이는 王(왕)께서 미워하는 者(자)는 사랑하시며 사랑하는 者(자)는 미워하시고 오늘 長官(장관)들과 信服(신복)들을 蔑視(멸시)하심을 나타내심이라 오늘 내가 깨달으니 萬一(만일) 압살롬이 살고 오늘 우리가 다 죽었더면 王(왕)이 마땅히 여기실 뻔하였나이다
   
7. 이제 곧 일어나 나가서 ^ㅓ王(왕)의 信服(신복)들의 마음을 慰勞(위로)하여 말씀하옵소서 내가 여호와를 가리켜 盟誓(맹서)하옵나니 王(왕)이 萬一(만일) 나가지 아니하시면 오늘 밤에 한 사람도 王(왕)과 함께 머물지 아니할지라 그리하면 그 禍(화)가 王(왕)이 젊었을 때부터 至今(지금)까지 當(당)하신 모든 禍(화)보다 더욱 甚(심)하리이다
   
8. 王(왕)이 일어나 ^ㅕ城門(성문)에 앉으매 或(혹)이 모든 百姓(백성)에게 告(고)하되 王(왕)이 門(문)에 앉아 계시다 하니 모든 百姓(백성)이 王(왕)의 앞으로 나아오니라 이스라엘은 이미 各其(각기) ^ㅗ帳幕(장막)으로 逃亡(도망)하였더라
   
9. 이스라엘 모든 支派(지파) 百姓(백성)들이 辯論(변론)하여 가로되 ^ㅛ王(왕)이 우리를 怨讐(원수)의 손에서 救援(구원)하여 내셨고 또 ^ㅜ우리를 블레셋 사람의 손에서 救援(구원)하셨으나 ^ㅠ이제 압살롬을 避(피)하여 나라에서 나가셨고
   
10. 우리가 기름을 부어 우리를 다스리게 한 압살롬은 싸움에 죽었거늘 이제 너희가 어찌하여 王(왕)을 도로 모셔 올 일에 潛潛(잠잠)하고 있느냐 하니라
    

6. Tu aimes ceux qui te haïssent et tu hais ceux qui t'aiment, car tu montres aujourd'hui qu'il n'y a pour toi ni chefs ni serviteurs; et je vois maintenant que, si Absalom vivait et que nous fussions tous morts en ce jour, cela serait agréable à tes yeux.
   
7. Lève-toi donc, sors, et parle au coeur de tes serviteurs! Car je jure par l'Éternel que, si tu ne sors pas, il ne restera pas un homme avec toi cette nuit; et ce sera pour toi pire que tous les malheurs qui te sont arrivés depuis ta jeunesse jusqu'à présent.
   
8. Alors le roi se leva, et il s'assit à la porte. On fit dire à tout le peuple: Voici, le roi est assis à la porte. Et tout le peuple vint devant le roi. Cependant Israël s'était enfui, chacun dans sa tente.
   
9. Et dans toutes les tribus d'Israël, tout le peuple était en contestation, disant: Le roi nous a délivrés de la main de nos ennemis, c'est lui qui nous a sauvés de la main des Philistins; et maintenant il a dû fuir du pays devant Absalom.
   
10. Or Absalom, que nous avions oint pour qu'il régnât sur nous, est mort dans la bataille: pourquoi ne parlez-vous pas de faire revenir le roi?
    

6. You love those who hate you and hate those who love you. You have made it clear today that the commanders and their men mean nothing to you. I see that you would be pleased if Absalom were alive today and all of us were dead.
   
7. Now go out and encourage your men. I swear by the LORD that if you don't go out, not a man will be left with you by nightfall. This will be worse for you than all the calamities that have come upon you from your youth till now."
   
8. So the king got up and took his seat in the gateway. When the men were told, "The king is sitting in the gateway," they all came before him. Meanwhile, the Israelites had fled to their homes.
   
9. Throughout the tribes of Israel, the people were all arguing with each other, saying, "The king delivered us from the hand of our enemies; he is the one who rescued us from the hand of the Philistines. But now he has fled the country because of Absalom;
   
10. and Absalom, whom we anointed to rule over us, has died in battle. So why do you say nothing about bringing the king back?"
    

11. 다윗 王(왕)이 ^으사독과 아비아달 두 祭司長(제사장)에게 奇別(기별)하여 가로되 너희는 유다 長老(장로)들에게 告(고)하여 이르기를 王(왕)의 말씀이 온 이스라엘이 王(왕)을 宮(궁)으로 도로 모셔오자 하는 말이 王(왕)께 들렸거늘 너희는 어찌하여 宮(궁)으로 모시는 일에 나중이 되느냐
    
12. 너희는 내 兄弟(형제)요 ^이내 骨肉(골육)이어늘 어찌하여 王(왕)을 도로 모셔 오는 일에 나중이 되리요 하셨다 하고
    
13. 너희는 또 아마사에게 이르기를 ^ㅐ너는 내 骨肉(골육)이 아니냐 네가 요압을 代身(대신)하여 恒常(항상) 내 앞에서 ^ㄱ軍長(군장)이 되지 아니하면 ^ㄴ하나님이 내게 罰(벌)위에 罰(벌)을 내리시기를 바라노라 하셨다 하라 하여
    
14. 모든 유다 사람들로 마음을 ^ㄷ一齊(일제)히 돌리게 하매 저희가 王(왕)께 보내어 가로되 王(왕)은 모든 信服(신복)으로 더불어 돌아오소서 한지라
    
15. 王(왕)이 돌아와 요단에 이르매 유다 族屬(족속)이 王(왕)을 맞아 요단을 건네려 하여 길갈로 오니라
    

11. De son côté, le roi David envoya dire aux sacrificateurs Tsadok et Abiathar: Parlez aux anciens de Juda, et dites-leur: Pourquoi seriez-vous les derniers à ramener le roi dans sa maison? #NAME? ce qui se disait dans tout Israël était parvenu jusqu'au roi.
    
12. Vous êtes mes frères, vous êtes mes os et ma chair; pourquoi seriez-vous les derniers à ramener le roi?
    
13. Vous direz aussi à Amasa: N'es-tu pas mon os et ma chair? Que Dieu me traite dans toute sa rigueur, si tu ne deviens pas devant moi pour toujours chef de l'armée à la place de Joab!
    
14. David fléchit le coeur de tous ceux de Juda, comme s'ils n'eussent été qu'un seul homme; et ils envoyèrent dire au roi: Reviens, toi, et tous tes serviteurs.
    
15. Le roi revint et arriva jusqu'au Jourdain; et Juda se rendit à Guilgal, afin d'aller à la rencontre du roi et de lui faire passer le Jourdain.
    

11. King David sent this message to Zadok and Abiathar, the priests: "Ask the elders of Judah, 'Why should you be the last to bring the king back to his palace, since what is being said throughout Israel has reached the king at his quarters?
    
12. You are my brothers, my own flesh and blood. So why should you be the last to bring back the king?'
    
13. And say to Amasa, 'Are you not my own flesh and blood? May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if from now on you are not the commander of my army in place of Joab.'"
    
14. He won over the hearts of all the men of Judah as though they were one man. They sent word to the king, "Return, you and all your men."
    
15. Then the king returned and went as far as the Jordan. Now the men of Judah had come to Gilgal to go out and meet the king and bring him across the Jordan.
    

16. 바후림에 있는 베냐민 사람 게라의 아들 ^ㄹ시므이가 急(급)히 유다 사람과 함께 다윗 王(왕)을 맞으려 내려올 때에
    
17. 베냐민 사람 一千名(일천명)이 저와 함께 하고 사울의 使喚(사환) ^ㅁ시바도 그 아들 열 다섯과 종 스무名(명)으로 더불어 저와 함께 하여 요단江(강)을 밟고 건너 王(왕)의 앞으로 나아오니라
    
18. 王(왕)의 家族(가족)을 건네려 하며 王(왕)의 善(선)히 여기는 대로 쓰게 하려 하여 나룻배가 건너가니 王(왕)이 요단을 건너려 할 때에 게라의 아들 시므이가 王(왕)의 앞에 엎드려
    
19. 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 ^ㅂ내 主(주)여, 願(원)컨대 내게 罪(죄) 주지 마옵소서 내 主(주) 王(왕)께서 예루살렘에서 나오시던 날에 종의 ^ㅅ悖逆(패역)한 일을 記憶(기억)하지 마옵시며 마음에 두지 마옵소서
    
20. 王(왕)의 종 내가 犯罪(범죄)한 줄 아옵는 故(고)로 오늘 ^ㅇ요셉의 온 族屬(족속) 中(중) 내가 먼저 내려와서 내 主(주) 王(왕)을 迎接(영접)하나이다
    

16. Schimeï, fils de Guéra, Benjamite, qui était de Bachurim, se hâta de descendre avec ceux de Juda à la rencontre du roi David.
    
17. Il avait avec lui mille hommes de Benjamin, et Tsiba, serviteur de la maison de Saül, et les quinze fils et les vingt serviteurs de Tsiba. Ils passèrent le Jourdain à la vue du roi.
    
18. Le bateau, mis à la disposition du roi, faisait la traversée pour transporter sa maison; et au moment où le roi allait passer le Jourdain, Schimeï, fils de Guéra, se prosterna devant lui.
    
19. Et il dit au roi: Que mon seigneur ne tienne pas compte de mon iniquité, qu'il oublie que ton serviteur l'a offensé le jour où le roi mon seigneur sortait de Jérusalem, et que le roi n'y ait point égard!
    
20. Car ton serviteur reconnaît qu'il a péché. Et voici, je viens aujourd'hui le premier de toute la maison de Joseph à la rencontre du roi mon seigneur.
    

16. Shimei son of Gera, the Benjamite from Bahurim, hurried down with the men of Judah to meet King David.
    
17. With him were a thousand Benjamites, along with Ziba, the steward of Saul's household, and his fifteen sons and twenty servants. They rushed to the Jordan, where the king was.
    
18. They crossed at the ford to take the king's household over and to do whatever he wished. When Shimei son of Gera crossed the Jordan, he fell prostrate before the king
    
19. and said to him, "May my lord not hold me guilty. Do not remember how your servant did wrong on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. May the king put it out of his mind.
    
20. For I your servant know that I have sinned, but today I have come here as the first of the whole house of Joseph to come down and meet my lord the king."
    

21. 스루야의 아들 아비새가 對答(대답)하여 가로되 시므이가 ^ㅈ여호와의 기름 부으신 者(자)를 詛呪(저주)하였으니 그로 因(인)하여 죽어야 마땅치 아니하니이까
    
22. 다윗이 가로되 스루야의 아들들아 ^ㅊ내가 너희와 무슨 相關(상관)이 있기로 너희가 오늘 나의 對敵(대적)이 되느냐 ^ㅋ오늘 어찌하여 이스라엘 가운데서 사람을 죽이겠느냐 내가 오늘날 이스라엘의 王(왕)이 된 것을 내가 알지 못하리요 하고
    
23. ^ㅌ시므이에게 이르되 네가 죽지 아니하리라 하고 저에게 盟誓(맹서)하니라
    
24. 사울의 孫子(손자) ^ㅍ므비보셋이 내려와서 王(왕)을 맞으니 저는 王(왕)의 떠난 날부터 平安(평안)히 돌아오는 날까지 그 발을 맵시내지 아니하며 그 鬚髥(수염)을 깎지 아니하며 옷을 빨지 아니하였더라
    
25. 예루살렘에서 와서 王(왕)을 맞을 때에 王(왕)이 저에게 물어 가로되 므비보셋이여 네가 ^ㅎ어찌하여 나와 함께 가지 아니하였더뇨
    

21. Alors Abischaï, fils de Tseruja, prit la parole et dit: Schimeï ne doit-il pas mourir pour avoir maudit l'oint de l'Éternel?
    
22. Mais David dit: Qu'ai-je affaire avec vous, fils de Tseruja, et pourquoi vous montrez-vous aujourd'hui mes adversaires? Aujourd'hui ferait-on mourir un homme en Israël? Ne sais-je donc pas que je règne aujourd'hui sur Israël?
    
23. Et le roi dit à Schimeï: Tu ne mourras point! Et le roi le lui jura.
    
24. Mephiboscheth, fils de Saül, descendit aussi à la rencontre du roi. Il n'avait point soigné ses pieds, ni fait sa barbe, ni lavé ses vêtements, depuis le jour où le roi s'en était allé jusqu'à celui où il revenait en paix.
    
25. Lorsqu'il se rendit au-devant du roi à Jérusalem, le roi lui dit: Pourquoi n'es-tu pas venu avec moi, Mephiboscheth?
    

21. Then Abishai son of Zeruiah said, "Shouldn't Shimei be put to death for this? He cursed the LORD'S anointed."
    
22. David replied, "What do you and I have in common, you sons of Zeruiah? This day you have become my adversaries! Should anyone be put to death in Israel today? Do I not know that today I am king over Israel?"
    
23. So the king said to Shimei, "You shall not die." And the king promised him on oath.
    
24. Mephibosheth, Saul's grandson, also went down to meet the king. He had not taken care of his feet or trimmed his mustache or washed his clothes from the day the king left until the day he returned safely.
    
25. When he came from Jerusalem to meet the king, the king asked him, "Why didn't you go with me, Mephibosheth?"
    

26. 對答(대답)하되 내 主(주) 王(왕)이여, 王(왕)의 ^ㅏ종 나는 절뚝발이이므로 내 나귀에 鞍裝(안장)을 지워 타고 王(왕)과 함께 가려 하였더니 나의 종이 나를 속이고
    
27. 종 ^ㅑ나를 내 主(주) 王(왕)께 讒訴(참소)하였나이다 내 主(주) 王(왕)께서는 ^ㅓ하나님의 使者(사자)와 같으시니 王(왕)의 處分(처분)대로 하옵소서
    
28. 내 아비의 온 집이 ^ㅕ내 主(주) 王(왕) 앞에서는 다만 죽을 사람이 되지 아니하였었나이까 ^ㅗ그러나 종을 王(왕)의 床(상)에서 飮食(음식) 먹는 者(자) 가운데 두셨사오니 내게 오히려 무슨 옳음이 있어서 다시 王(왕)께 부르짖을 수 있사오리이까
    
29. 王(왕)이 저에게 이르되 네가 어찌하여 또 네 일을 말하느냐 내가 이르노니 너는 시바와 밭을 나누라
    
30. 므비보셋이 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 내 主(주) 王(왕)께서 平安(평안)히 宮(궁)에 돌아오시게 되었으니 저로 그 全部(전부)를 차지하게 하옵소서 하니라
    

26. Et il répondit: O roi mon seigneur, mon serviteur m'a trompé, car ton serviteur, qui est boiteux, avait dit: Je ferai seller mon âne, je le monterai, et j'irai avec le roi.
    
27. Et il a calomnié ton serviteur auprès de mon seigneur le roi. Mais mon seigneur le roi est comme un ange de Dieu. Fais ce qui te semblera bon.
    
28. Car tous ceux de la maison de mon père n'ont été que des gens dignes de mort devant le roi mon seigneur; et cependant tu as mis ton serviteur au nombre de ceux qui mangent à ta table. Quel droit puis-je encore avoir, et qu'ai-je à demander au roi?
    
29. Le roi lui dit: A quoi bon toutes tes paroles? Je l'ai déclaré: Toi et Tsiba, vous partagerez les terres.
    
30. Et Mephiboscheth dit au roi: Qu'il prenne même le tout, puisque le roi mon seigneur rentre en paix dans sa maison.
    

26. He said, "My lord the king, since I your servant am lame, I said, 'I will have my donkey saddled and will ride on it, so I can go with the king.' But Ziba my servant betrayed me.
    
27. And he has slandered your servant to my lord the king. My lord the king is like an angel of God; so do whatever pleases you.
    
28. All my grandfather's descendants deserved nothing but death from my lord the king, but you gave your servant a place among those who sat at your table. So what right do I have to make any more appeals to the king?"
    
29. The king said to him, "Why say more? I order you and Ziba to divide the fields."
    
30. Mephibosheth said to the king, "Let him take everything, now that my lord the king has arrived home safely."
    

31. 길르앗 사람 ^ㅛ바르실래가 王(왕)을 보내어 요단을 건네려고 로글림에서 내려와서 함께 요단에 이르니
    
32. 바실래는 매우 늙어 나이 八十歲(팔십세)라 ^ㅜ저는 巨富(거부)인 故(고)로 王(왕)이 마하나임에 留(유)할 때에 王(왕)을 供饋(공궤)하였더라
    
33. 王(왕)이 바실래에게 이르되 너는 나와 함께 건너가자 예루살렘에서 내가 너를 供饋(공궤)하리라
    
34. 바실래가 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 ^ㅠ내 生命(생명)의 날이 얼마나 있삽관대 어찌 王(왕)과 함께 예루살렘으로 올라가리이까
    
35. 내 나이 이제 ^으八十歲(팔십세)라 어떻게 좋고 凶(흉)한 것을 分揀(분간)할 수 있사오며 飮食(음식)의 맛을 알 수 있사오리이까 어떻게 다시 노래하는 男子(남자)나 女人(녀인)의 소리를 알아 들을 수 있사오리이까 어찌하여 종이 내 主(주) 王(왕)께 오히려 ^이累(누)를 끼치리이까
    

31. Barzillaï, le Galaadite, descendit de Roguelim, et passa le Jourdain avec le roi, pour l'accompagner jusqu'au delà du Jourdain.
    
32. Barzillaï était très vieux, âgé de quatre-vingts ans. Il avait entretenu le roi pendant son séjour à Mahanaïm, car c'était un homme fort riche.
    
33. Le roi dit à Barzillaï: Viens avec moi, je te nourrirai chez moi à Jérusalem.
    
34. Mais Barzillaï répondit au roi: Combien d'années vivrai-je encore, pour que je monte avec le roi à Jérusalem?
    
35. Je suis aujourd'hui âgé de quatre-vingts ans. Puis-je connaître ce qui est bon et ce qui est mauvais? Ton serviteur peut-il savourer ce qu'il mange et ce qu'il boit? Puis-je encore entendre la voix des chanteurs et des chanteuses? Et pourquoi ton serviteur serait-il encore à charge à mon seigneur le roi?
    

31. Barzillai the Gileadite also came down from Rogelim to cross the Jordan with the king and to send him on his way from there.
    
32. Now Barzillai was a very old man, eighty years of age. He had provided for the king during his stay in Mahanaim, for he was a very wealthy man.
    
33. The king said to Barzillai, "Cross over with me and stay with me in Jerusalem, and I will provide for you."
    
34. But Barzillai answered the king, "How many more years will I live, that I should go up to Jerusalem with the king?
    
35. I am now eighty years old. Can I tell the difference between what is good and what is not? Can your servant taste what he eats and drinks? Can I still hear the voices of men and women singers? Why should your servant be an added burden to my lord the king?
    

36. 종은 王(왕)을 모시고 요단을 건너려는 것뿐이어늘 王(왕)께서 어찌하여 이같은 賞(상)으로 내게 갚으려 하시나이까
    
37. 請(청)컨대 종을 돌려 보내옵소서 내가 내 本城(본성) 父母(부모)의 墓(묘) 곁에서 죽으려 하나이다 그러나 王(왕)의 종 ^ㅐ김함이 여기 있사오니 請(청)컨대 저로 내 主(주) 王(왕)과 함께 건너가게 하옵시고 王(왕)의 處分(처분)대로 저에게 베푸소서
    
38. 王(왕)이 對答(대답)하되 김함이 나와 함께 건너가리니 내가 너의 좋아하는 대로 저에게 베풀겠고 또 네가 내게 求(구)하는 것은 다 너를 爲(위)하여 施行(시행)하리라 하니라
    
39. 百姓(백성)이 다 요단을 건너매 王(왕)도 건너가서 ^ㄱ바르실래의 입을 맞추고 爲(위)하여 福(복)을 비니 저가 自己(자기) 곳으로 돌아가니라
    
40. 王(왕)이 길갈로 건너오고 김함도 함께 건너오니 온 유다 百姓(백성)과 이스라엘 百姓(백성)의 折半(절반)이나 王(왕)을 扈行(호행)하니라
    

36. Ton serviteur ira un peu au delà du Jourdain avec le roi. Pourquoi, d'ailleurs, le roi m'accorderait-il ce bienfait?
    
37. Que ton serviteur s'en retourne, et que je meure dans ma ville, près du sépulcre de mon père et de ma mère! Mais voici ton serviteur Kimham, qui passera avec le roi mon seigneur; fais pour lui ce que tu trouveras bon.
    
38. Le roi dit: Que Kimham passe avec moi, et je ferai pour lui ce qui te plaira; tout ce que tu désireras de moi, je te l'accorderai.
    
39. Quand tout le peuple eut passé le Jourdain et que le roi l'eut aussi passé, le roi baisa Barzillaï et le bénit. Et Barzillaï retourna dans sa demeure.
    
40. Le roi se dirigea vers Guilgal, et Kimham l'accompagna. Tout le peuple de Juda et la moitié du peuple d'Israël avaient fait passer le Jourdain au roi.
    

36. Your servant will cross over the Jordan with the king for a short distance, but why should the king reward me in this way?
    
37. Let your servant return, that I may die in my own town near the tomb of my father and mother. But here is your servant Kimham. Let him cross over with my lord the king. Do for him whatever pleases you."
    
38. The king said, "Kimham shall cross over with me, and I will do for him whatever pleases you. And anything you desire from me I will do for you."
    
39. So all the people crossed the Jordan, and then the king crossed over. The king kissed Barzillai and gave him his blessing, and Barzillai returned to his home.
    
40. When the king crossed over to Gilgal, Kimham crossed with him. All the troops of Judah and half the troops of Israel had taken the king over.
    

41. 온 이스라엘 사람이 王(왕)께 나아와서 告(고)하되 우리 兄弟(형제) 유다 사람들이 어찌 王(왕)을 盜賊(도적)하여 ^ㄴ王(왕)과 王(왕)의 眷屬(권속)과 王(왕)을 좇는 모든 사람을 引導(인도)하여 요단을 건네었나이까 하매
    
42. 유다 모든 사람이 이스라엘 사람에게 對答(대답)하되 ^ㄷ王(왕)은 우리의 至親(지친)인 까닭이라 너희가 어찌 이일에 對(대)하여 忿(분)내느냐 우리가 王(왕)의 物件(물건)을 조금이라도 먹었느냐 王(왕)께서 우리에게 膳物(선물) 주신 것이 있느냐
    
43. 이스라엘 사람이 유다 사람에게 對答(대답)하여 이르되 우리는 王(왕)에 對(대)하여 ^ㄹ十分(십분)을 가졌으니 다윗에게 對(대)하여 너희보다 더욱 關係(관계)가 있거늘 너희가 어찌 우리를 蔑視(멸시)하여 우리 王(왕)을 모셔 오는 일에 먼저 우리와 議論(의논)하지 아니하였느냐 하나 ^ㅁ유다 사람의 말이 이스라엘 사람의 말보다 더 强硬(강경)하였더라
    

41. Mais voici, tous les hommes d'Israël abordèrent le roi, et lui dirent: Pourquoi nos frères, les hommes de Juda, t'ont-ils enlevé, et ont-ils fait passer le Jourdain au roi, à sa maison, et à tous les gens de David?
    
42. Tous les hommes de Juda répondirent aux hommes d'Israël: C'est que le roi nous tient de plus près; et qu'y a-t-il là pour vous irriter? Avons-nous vécu aux dépens du roi? Nous a-t-il fait des présents?
    
43. Et les hommes d'Israël répondirent aux hommes de Juda: Le roi nous appartient dix fois autant, et David même plus qu'à vous. Pourquoi nous avez-vous méprisés? N'avons-nous pas été les premiers à proposer de faire revenir notre roi? Et les hommes de Juda parlèrent avec plus de violence que les hommes d'Israël.
    

41. Soon all the men of Israel were coming to the king and saying to him, "Why did our brothers, the men of Judah, steal the king away and bring him and his household across the Jordan, together with all his men?"
    
42. All the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, "We did this because the king is closely related to us. Why are you angry about it? Have we eaten any of the king's provisions? Have we taken anything for ourselves?"
    
43. Then the men of Israel answered the men of Judah, "We have ten shares in the king; and besides, we have a greater claim on David than you have. So why do you treat us with contempt? Were we not the first to speak of bringing back our king?" But the men of Judah responded even more harshly than the men of Israel.
