1. ^ㄱ다리오 王(왕) 二年(이년) 六月(육월) 곧 그 달 初(초)하루에 여호와의 말씀이 先知者(선지자) 학개로 말미암아 ^ㄴ스알디엘의 아들 유다 總督(총독) ^ㄷ스룹바벨과 ^ㄹ여호사닥의 아들 大祭司長(대제사장) ^ㅁ여호수아에게 臨(임)하니라 가라사대
   
2. 萬軍(만군)의 여호와가 말하여 이르노라 이 百姓(백성)이 말하기를 여호와의 殿(전)을 建築(건축)할 時期(시기)가 이르지 아니하였다 하느니라
   
3. 여호와의 말씀이 先知者(선지자) ^ㅂ학개에게 臨(임)하여 가라사대
   
4. ^ㅅ이 殿(전)이 荒蕪(황무)하였거늘 ^ㅇ너희가 이 때에 板璧(판벽)한 집에 居(거)하는 것이 可(가)하냐
   
5. 그러므로 이제 나 萬軍(만군)의 여호와가 말하노니 너희는 ^ㅈ自己(자기)의 所爲(소위)를 살펴 볼지니라
   

1. Im zweiten Jahr des Königs "Darius," im sechsten "Monat," am ersten Tage des "Monats," geschah des HERRN Wort durch den Propheten Haggai zu "Serubabel," dem Sohn "Sealthiels," dem Fürsten "Juda's," und zu "Josua," dem Sohn "Jozadaks," dem "Hohenpriester," und sprach:
   
2. So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Dies Volk spricht: Die Zeit ist noch nicht "da," daß man des HERRN Haus baue.
   
3. Und des HERRN Wort geschah durch den Propheten Haggai:
   
4. Aber eure Zeit ist "da," daß ihr in getäfelten Häusern "wohnt," und dies Haus muß wüst stehen?
   
5. Nun, so spricht der HERR Zebaoth: "Schauet," wie es euch geht!
   

1. In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest:
   
2. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, 'The time has not yet come for the LORD'S house to be built.'"
   
3. Then the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai:
   
4. "Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?"
   
5. Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.
   

6. ^ㅊ너희가 많이 뿌릴지라도 收入(수입)이 적으며 ^ㅋ먹을지라도 배부르지 못하며 마실지라도 洽足(흡족)하지 못하며 입어도 따뜻하지 못하며 일군이 ^ㅌ삯을 받아도 그것을 구멍 뚫어진 纏袋(전대)에 넣음이 되느니라
   
7. 나 萬軍(만군)의 여호와가 말하노니 너희는 自己(자기)의 所爲(소위)를 살펴 볼지니라
   
8. 너희는 山(산)에 올라가서 나무를 가져다가 殿(전)을 建築(건축)하라 그리하면 ^ㅍ내가 그로 因(인)하여 기뻐하고 ^ㅎ또 榮光(영광)을 얻으리라 나 여호와가 말하였느니라
   
9. 너희가 많은 것을 바랐으나 도리어 적었고 너희가 그것을 집으로 가져갔으나 ^ㅏ내가 불어 버렸느니라 나 萬軍(만군)의 여호와가 말하노라 이것이 무슨 緣故(연고)뇨 내 집은 荒蕪(황무)하였으되 너희는 各各(각각) 自己(자기)의 집에 빨랐음이니라
   
10. 그러므로 ^ㅑ너희로 因(인)하여 하늘은 이슬을 그쳤고 땅은 産物(산물)을 그쳤으며
    

6. Ihr säet "viel," und bringet wenig ein; ihr "esset," und werdet doch nicht satt; ihr "trinket," und werdet doch nicht trunken; ihr kleidet "euch," und könnt euch doch nicht erwärmen; und wer Geld "verdient," der legt's in einen löchrigen Beutel.
   
7. So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: "Schauet," wie es euch geht!
   
8. Gehet hin auf das Gebirge und holet Holz und bauet das Haus; das soll mir angenehm "sein," und ich will meine Ehre "erzeigen," spricht der HERR.
   
9. Denn ihr wartet wohl auf "viel," und "siehe," es wird wenig; und ob ihr's schon "heimbringt," so zerstäube ich's doch. Warum das? spricht der HERR Zebaoth. Darum daß mein Haus so wüst steht und ein jeglicher eilt auf sein Haus.
   
10. Darum hat der Himmel über euch den Tau verhalten und das Erdreich sein Gewächs.
    

6. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it."
   
7. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.
   
8. Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the LORD.
   
9. "You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house.
   
10. Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops.
    

11. ^ㅓ내가 旱災(한재)를 불러 이 땅에, 山(산)에, ^ㅕ穀物(곡물)에, 새 葡萄酒(포도주)에, 기름에, 땅의 모든 所産(소산)에, 사람에게, 六畜(육축)에게, ^ㅗ손으로 受苦(수고)하는 모든 일에 臨(임)하게 하였느니라
    
12. ^ㅛ스알디엘의 아들 ^ㅜ스룹바벨과 여호사닥의 아들 大祭司長(대제사장) 여호수아와 ^ㅠ남은바 모든 百姓(백성)이 그 하나님 여호와의 목소리와 先知者(선지자) 학개의 말을 聽從(청종)하였으니 이는 그들의 하나님 여호와께서 그를 보내셨음을 因(인)함이라 百姓(백성)이 다 여호와를 敬畏(경외)하매
    
13. 때에 ^으여호와의 使者(사자) 학개가 여호와의 命(명)을 依支(의지)하여 百姓(백성)에게 告(고)하여 가로되 나 여호와가 말하노니 ^이내가 너희와 함께 하노라 하셨느니라 하니라
    
14. ^ㅐ여호와께서 스알디엘의 아들 유다 總督(총독) 스룹바벨의 마음과 여호사닥의 아들 大祭司長(대제사장) 여호수아의 마음과 남은바 모든 百姓(백성)의 마음을 興奮(흥분)시키시매 그들이 와서 ^ㄱ萬軍(만군)의 여호와 그들의 하나님의 殿(전) 役事(역사)를 하였으니
    
15. ^ㄴ때는 다리오 王(왕) 二年(이년) 六月(육월) 二十四日(이십사일)이었더라
    

11. Und ich habe die Dürre gerufen über Land und "Berge," über "Korn," "Most," Öl und über "alles," was aus der Erde "kommt," auch über Leute und Vieh und über alle Arbeit der Hände.
    
12. Da gehorchte "Serubabel," der Sohn "Sealthiels," und "Josua," der Sohn "Jozadaks," der "Hohepriester," und alle übrigen des Volkes solcher Stimme des "HERRN," ihres "Gottes," und den Worten des Propheten "Haggai," wie ihn der "HERR," ihr "Gott," gesandt hatte; und das Volk fürchtete sich vor dem HERRN.
    
13. Da sprach "Haggai," der Engel des "HERRN," der die Botschaft des HERRN hatte an das Volk: Ich bin mit "euch," spricht der HERR.
    
14. Und der HERR erweckte den Geist "Serubabels," des Sohnes "Sealthiels," des Fürsten "Juda's," und den Geist "Josuas," des Sohnes "Jozadaks," des "Hohenpriesters," und den Geist des ganzen übrigen "Volkes," daß sie kamen und arbeiteten am Hause des HERRN "Zebaoth," ihres "Gottes,"
    
15. am vierundzwanzigsten Tage des sechsten "Monats," im zweiten Jahr des Königs Darius.
    

11. I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labor of your hands."
    
12. Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the LORD their God had sent him. And the people feared the LORD.
    
13. Then Haggai, the LORD'S messenger, gave this message of the LORD to the people: "I am with you," declares the LORD.
    
14. So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God,
    
15. on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in the second year of King Darius.
