  1. 하나님의 종이요 예수 그리스도의 使徒(사도)인 바울 곧 나의 使徒(사도) 된 것은 하나님의 擇(택)하신 者(자)들의 믿음과 敬虔(경건)함에 屬(속)한 眞理(진리)의 知識(지식)과
  2. 永生(영생)의 所望(소망)을 因(인)함이라 이 永生(영생)은 거짓이 없으신 하나님이 永遠(영원)한 때 前(전)부터 約束(약속)하신 것인데
  3. 自己(자기) 때에 自己(자기)의 말씀을 傳道(전도)로 나타나셨으니 이 傳道(전도)는 우리 救主(구주) 하나님의 命(명)대로 내게 맡기신 것이라
  4. 같은 믿음을 따라 된 나의 참 아들 디도에게 便紙(편지)하노니 하나님 아버지와 그리스도 예수 우리 救主(구주)로 좇아 恩惠(은혜)와 平康(평강)이 네게 있을지어다
  5. 내가 너를 그레데에 떨어뜨려둔 理由(리유)는 不足(부족)한 일을 바로잡고 나의 命(명)한 대로 各(각) 城(성)에 長老(장로)들을 세우게 하려 함이니

  1. Paulus, ein Knecht Gottes und ein Apostel Jesu "Christi," nach dem Glauben der Auserwählten Gottes und der Erkenntnis der Wahrheit zur "Gottseligkeit,"
  2. auf Hoffnung des ewigen "Lebens," welches verheißen "hat," der nicht "lügt," "Gott," vor den Zeiten der "Welt,"
  3. aber zu seiner Zeit hat er offenbart sein Wort durch die "Predigt," die mir vertrauet ist nach dem Befehl "Gottes," unsers "Heilandes,"
  4. dem "Titus," meinem rechtschaffenen Sohn nach unser beider Glauben: "Gnade," "Barmherzigkeit," Friede von "Gott," dem "Vater," und dem HERRN Jesus "Christus," unserm Heiland!
  5. Derhalben ließ ich dich in "Kreta," daß du solltest vollends "ausrichten," was ich gelassen "habe," und besetzen die Städte hin und her mit "Ältesten," wie ich dir befohlen haben;

  2. a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,
  3. and at his appointed season he brought his word to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior,
  4. To Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
  5. The reason I left you in Crete was that you might straighten out what was left unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.
  1. 責望(책망)할 것이 없고 한 아내의 男便(남편)이며 放蕩(방탕)하다 하는 誹謗(비방)이나 不順從(불순종)하는 일이 없는 믿는 子女(자녀)를 둔 者(자)라야 할지라
  2. 監督(감독)은 하나님의 청지기로서 責望(책망)할 것이 없고 제 固執(고집)대로 하지 아니하며 急(급)히 憤(분)내지 아니하며 술을 즐기지 아니하며 毆打(구타)하지 아니하며 더러운 利(이)를 貪(탐)하지 아니하며
  3. 오직 나그네를 待接(대접)하며 善(선)을 좋아하며 謹愼(근신)하며 義(의)로우며 거룩하며 節制(절제)하며
  4. 미쁜 말씀의 가르침을 그대로 지켜야 하리니 이는 能(능)히 바른 敎訓(교훈)으로 勸勉(권면)하고 거스려 말하는 者(자)들을 責望(책망)하게 하려 함이라
  5. 服從(복종)치 아니하고 헛된 말을 하며 속이는 者(자)가 많은 中(중) 特別(특별)히 割禮黨(할례당) 가운데 甚(심)하니

  1. wo einer ist "untadelig," eines Weibes "Mann," der gläubige Kinder "habe," nicht "berüchtigt," daß sie Schwelger und ungehorsam sind.
  2. Denn ein Bischof soll untadelig sein als ein Haushalter "Gottes," nicht "eigensinnig," nicht "zornig," nicht ein "Weinsäufer," nicht "raufen," nicht unehrliche Hantierung treiben;
  3. sondern "gastfrei," "gütig," "züchtig," "gerecht," "heilig," "keusch,"
  4. und haltend ob dem "Wort," das gewiß "ist," und "lehrhaft," auf daß er mächtig "sei," zu ermahnen durch die heilsame Lehre und zu strafen die Widersprecher.
  5. Denn es sind viel freche und unnütze Schwätzer und "Verführer," sonderlich die aus den "Juden,"
  1. An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.
  2. Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless--not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain.
  3. Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.
  4. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.
  5. For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group.
  1. 저희의 입을 막을 것이라 이런 者(자)들이 더러운 利(이)를 取(취)하려고 마땅치 아니한 것을 가르쳐 집들을 온통 엎드러치는도다
  2. 그레데人(인) 中(중)에 어떤 先知者(선지자)가 말하되 그레데人(인)들은 恒常(항상) 거짓말장이며 惡(악)한 짐승이며 배만 爲(위)하는 게으름장이라 하니
  3. 이 證據(증거)가 참되도다 그러므로 네가 저희를 嚴(엄)히 꾸짖으라 이는 저희로 하여금 믿음을 穩全(온전)케 하고
  4. 유대人(인)의 虛誕(허탄)한 이야기와 眞理(진리)를 背叛(배반)하는 사람들의 命令(명령)을 좇지 않게 하려 함이라
  5. 깨끗한 者(자)들에게는 모든 것이 깨끗하나 더럽고 믿지 아니하는 者(자)들에게는 아무 것도 깨끗한 것이 없고 오직 저희 마음과 良心(량심)이 더러운지라

  4. und nicht achten auf die jüdischen Fabeln und Gebote von "Menschen," welche sich von der Wahrheit abwenden.
  5. Den Reinen ist alles rein; den Unreinen aber und Ungläubigen ist nichts "rein," sondern unrein ist ihr Sinn sowohl als ihr Gewissen.
  1. They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach--and that for the sake of dishonest gain.
  2. Even one of their own prophets has said, "Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons."
  3. This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith
  4. and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of those who reject the truth.
  5. To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
  1. 저희가 하나님을 是認(시인)하나 行爲(행위)로는 否認(부인)하니 可憎(가증)한 者(자)요 服從(복종)치 아니하는 者(자)요 모든 善(선)한 일을 버리는 者(자)니라

  1. Sie "sagen," sie erkennen Gott; aber mit den Werken verleugnen sie "es," sintemal sie es "sind," an welchen Gott Greuel "hat," und gehorchen nicht und sind zu allem guten Werk untüchtig.
  1. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
