1. ^ㄱ우리 中(중)에 이루어진 事實(사실)에 對(대)하여
   
2. ^ㄴ처음부터 ^ㄷ말씀의 ^ㄹ目擊者(목격자) 되고 ^ㅁ일군 된 者(자)들의 ^ㅂ傳(전)하여 ^ㅅ준 그대로 來歷(래력)을 著述(저술)하려고 붓을 든 사람이 많은지라
   
3. 그 모든 일을 根源(근원)부터 仔細(자세)히 미루어 살핀 나도 ^ㅇ데오빌로 ^ㅈ閣下(각하)에게 ^ㅊ次例(차례)대로 써 보내는 것이 좋은 줄 알았노니
   
4. 이는 閣下(각하)로 그 ^ㅋ배운 바의 ^ㅌ確實(확실)함을 알게 하려 함이로다
   
5. 유대 王(왕) ^ㅍ헤롯 때에 ^ㅎ아비야 ^ㅏ班列(반열)에 祭司長(제사장) 하나가 있으니 이름은 사가랴요 그 아내는 아론의 子孫(자손)이니 이름은 엘리사벳이라
   

1. Sintemal sich's viele unterwunden "haben," Bericht zu geben von den "Geschichten," so unter uns ergangen "sind,"
   
2. wie uns das gegeben "haben," die es von Anfang selbst gesehen und Diener des Worts gewesen sind:
   
3. habe ich's auch für gut "angesehen," nachdem ich's alles von Anbeginn mit Fleiß erkundet "habe," daß ich's "dir," mein guter "Theophilus," in Ordnung "schriebe,"
   
4. auf das du gewissen Grund erfahrest der "Lehre," in welcher du unterrichtet bist.
   
5. Zu der Zeit des "Herodes," des Königs von "Judäa," war ein Priester von der Ordnung "Abia," mit Namen "Zacharias," und sein Weib war von den Töchtern "Aarons," welche hieß Elisabeth.
   

1. Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us,
   
2. just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word.
   
3. Therefore, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,
   
4. so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.
   
5. In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron.
   

6. 이 두 사람이 ^ㅑ하나님 앞에 義人(의인)이니 ^ㅓ主(주)의 모든 誡命(계명)과 規例(규례)대로 ^ㅕ欠(흠)이 없이 行(행)하더라
   
7. ^ㅗ엘리사벳이 受胎(수태)를 못하므로 저희가 無子(무자)하고 ^ㅛ두 사람의 나이 많더라
   
8. 마침 사가랴가 ^ㅜ그 班列(반열)의 次例(차례)대로 ^ㅠ祭司長(제사장)의 職務(직무)를 하나님 앞에 行(행)할새
   
9. 祭司長(제사장)의 前例(전례)를 따라 제비를 뽑아 ^으主(주)의 聖所(성소)에 ^이들어가 焚香(분향)하고
   
10. 모든 百姓(백성)은 그 焚香(분향)하는 時間(시간)에 ^ㅐ밖에서 ^ㄱ祈禱(기도)하더니
    

6. Sie waren aber alle beide fromm vor Gott und wandelten in allen Geboten und Satzungen des HERRN untadelig.
   
7. Und sie hatten kein Kind; denn Elisabeth war "unfruchtbar," und waren beide wohl betagt.
   
8. Und es begab "sich," da er des Priesteramtes pflegte vor Gott zur Zeit seiner "Ordnung,"
   
9. nach Gewohnheit des "Priestertums," und an ihm "war," daß er räuchern "sollte," ging er in den Tempel des HERRN.
   
10. Und die ganze Menge des Volks war draußen und betete unter der Stunde des Räucherns.
    

6. Both of them were upright in the sight of God, observing all the Lord's commandments and regulations blamelessly.
   
7. But they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren; and they were both well along in years.
   
8. Once when Zechariah's division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God,
   
9. he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to go into the temple of the Lord and burn incense.
   
10. And when the time for the burning of incense came, all the assembled worshipers were praying outside.

13. 天使(천사)가 일러 가로되 `사가랴여 무서워 말라 ^ㅁ너의 懇求(간구)함이 들린지라 네 아내 엘리사벳이 네게 아들을 낳아 주리니 그 ^ㅂ이름을 요한이라 하라
    
14. 너도 기뻐하고 즐거워할 것이요 많은 사람도 ^ㅅ그의 남을 기뻐하리니
    
15. 이는 ^ㅇ저가 主(주) 앞에 큰 者(자)가 되며 葡萄酒(포도주)나 ^ㅈ燒酒(소주)를 ^ㅊ마시지 아니하며 ^ㅋ母胎(모태)로부터 ^ㅌ聖靈(성령)의 充滿(충만)함을 입어
    

11. Es erschien ihm aber der Engel des HERRN und stand zur rechten Hand am Räucheraltar.
    
12. Und als Zacharias ihn "sah," erschrak "er," und es kam ihn eine Furcht an.
    
13. Aber der Engel sprach zu ihm: Fürchte dich "nicht," Zacharias! denn dein Gebet ist "erhört," und dein Weib Elisabeth wird dir einen Sohn "gebären," des Namen sollst du Johannes heißen.
    
14. Und du wirst des Freude und Wonne "haben," und viele werden sich seiner Geburt freuen.
    
15. Denn er wird groß sein vor dem HERRN; Wein und starkes Getränk wird er nicht trinken und wird noch im Mutterleibe erfüllt werden mit dem heiligen Geist.
    

11. Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense.
    
12. When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear.
    
13. But the angel said to him: "Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to give him the name John.
    
14. He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth,
    
15. for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from birth.
    

16. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)을 主(주) 곧 저희 하나님께로 많이 돌아오게 하겠음이니라
    
17. 저가 또 ^ㅍ엘리야의 心靈(심령)과 能力(능력)으로 ^ㅎ主(주) 앞에 앞서 가서 아비의 마음을 ^ㅏ子息(자식)에게 ^ㅑ거스리는 者(자)를 義人(의인)의 슬기에 돌아오게 하고 主(주)를 爲(위)하여 세운 百姓(백성)을 ^ㅓ豫備(예비)하리라'
    
18. 사가랴가 天使(천사)에게 이르되 `^ㅕ내가 이것을 어떻게 알리요 내가 늙고 아내도 나이 많으니이다'
    
19. 天使(천사)가 對答(대답)하여 가로되 `나는 ^ㅗ하나님 앞에 섰는 ^ㅛ가브리엘이라 이 좋은 消息(소식)을 傳(전)하여 네게 말하라고 보내심을 입었노라
    
20. 보라, 이 일의 되는 날까지 ^ㅜ네가 벙어리가 되어 能(능)히 말을 못하리니 이는 내 말을 네가 믿지 아니함이어니와 때가 이르면 내 말이 이루리라' 하더라
    

16. Und er wird der Kinder Israel viele zu "Gott," ihrem "HERRN," bekehren.
    
17. Und er wird vor ihm her gehen im Geist und Kraft des "Elia," zu bekehren die Herzen der Väter zu den Kindern und die Ungläubigen zu der Klugheit der "Gerechten," zuzurichten dem HERRN ein bereitet Volk.
    
18. Und Zacharias sprach zu dem Engel: Wobei soll ich das erkennen? Denn ich bin alt und mein Weib ist betagt.
    
19. Der Engel antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Ich bin "Gabriel," der vor Gott "steht," und bin "gesandt," mit dir zu "reden," daß ich dir solches verkündigte.
    
20. Und "siehe," du wirst verstummen und nicht reden können bis auf den "Tag," da dies geschehen "wird," darum daß du meinen Worten nicht geglaubt "hast," welche sollen erfüllt werden zu ihrer Zeit.
    

16. Many of the people of Israel will he bring back to the Lord their God.
    
17. And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous--to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."
    
18. Zechariah asked the angel, "How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years."
    
19. The angel answered, "I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news.
    
20. And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their proper time."
    

21. 百姓(백성)들이 사가랴를 기다리며 그의 ^ㅠ聖所(성소) 안에서 遲滯(지체)함을 奇異(기이)히 여기더니
    
22. 그가 나와서 저희에게 말을 못하니 百姓(백성)들이 그 聖所(성소) 안에서 異像(이상)은 본 줄 알았더라 ^으그가 形容(형용)으로 뜻을 表示(표시)하며 그냥 벙어리 대로 있더니
    
23. ^이그 職務(직무)의 ^ㅐ날이 다 되매 집으로 돌아가니라
    
24. 이 後(후)에 그 아내 엘리사벳이 受胎(수태)하고 다섯 달 동안 숨어 있으며 가로되
    
25. `主(주)께서 나를 돌아 보시는 날에 人間(인간)에 ^ㄱ내 부끄러움을 없게 하시려고 이렇게 行(행)하심이라' 하더라
    

21. Und das Volk wartete auf Zacharias und verwunderte "sich," daß er so lange im Tempel verzog.
    
22. Und da er "herausging," konnte er nicht mit ihnen reden; und sie "merkten," daß er ein Gesicht gesehen hatte im Tempel. Und er winkte ihnen und blieb stumm.
    
23. Und es begab "sich," da die Zeit seines Amts aus "war," ging er heim in sein Haus.
    
24. Und nach den Tagen ward sein Weib Elisabeth schwanger und verbarg sich fünf Monate und sprach:
    
25. Also hat mir der HERR getan in den "Tagen," da er mich angesehen "hat," daß er meine Schmach unter den Menschen von mir nähme.
    

21. Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah and wondering why he stayed so long in the temple.
    
22. When he came out, he could not speak to them. They realized he had seen a vision in the temple, for he kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak.
    
23. When his time of service was completed, he returned home.
    
24. After this his wife Elizabeth became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion.
    
25. "The Lord has done this for me," she said. "In these days he has shown his favor and taken away my disgrace among the people."
    

26. 여섯째 달에 天使(천사) ^ㄴ가브리엘이 하나님의 보내심을 받들어 갈릴리 ^ㄷ나사렛이란 洞里(동리)에 가서
    
27. ^ㄹ다윗의 子孫(자손) 요셉이라 하는 사람과 定婚(정혼)한 ^ㅁ處女(처녀)에게 이르니 그 處女(처녀)의 이름은 마리아라
    
28. 그에게 들어가 가로되 `^ㅂ恩惠(은혜)를 받은 者(자)여 ! 平安(평안)할찌어다 ! ^ㅅ主(주)께서 너와 함께 하시도다' 하니
    
29. ^ㅇ處女(처녀)가 그 말을 듣고 놀라 이런 人事(인사)가 어찌함인고 생각하매
    
30. 天使(천사)가 일러 가로되 `마리아여 무서워말라 ^ㅈ네가 하나님께 恩惠(은혜)를 얻었느니라
    

26. Und im sechsten Monat ward der Engel Gabriel gesandt von Gott in eine Stadt in "Galiläa," die heißt "Nazareth,"
    
27. zu einer "Jungfrau," die vertraut war einem Manne mit Namen "Joseph," vom Hause David: und die Jungfrau hieß Maria.
    
28. Und der Engel kam zu ihr hinein und sprach: Gegrüßet seist "du," Holdselige! Der HERR ist mit "dir," du Gebenedeite unter den Weibern!
    
29. Da sie aber ihn "sah," erschrak sie über seine Rede und gedachte: Welch ein Gruß ist das?
    
30. Und der Engel sprach zu ihr: Fürchte dich "nicht," Maria! du hast Gnade bei Gott gefunden.
    

26. In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee,
    
27. to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary.
    
28. The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."
    
29. Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
    
30. But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God.
    

31. 보라, 네가 ^ㅊ受胎(수태)하여 아들을 낳으리니 ^ㅋ그 이름을 예수라 하라
    
32. 저가 큰 者(자)가 되고 ^ㅌ至極(지극)히 높은신 이의 ^ㅍ아들이라 일컬을 것이요 主(주) 하나님께서 ^ㅎ그 祖上(조상) 다윗의 ^ㅏ位(위)를 저에게 주시리니
    
33. ^ㅑ永遠(영원)히 야곱의 집에 王(왕)노릇하실 것이며 그 나라가 無窮(무궁)하리라'
    
34. 마리아가 天使(천사)에게 말하되 `나는 사내를 알지 못하니 어찌 이 일이 있으리이까 ?'
    
35. 天使(천사)가 對答(대답)하여 가로되 ^ㅓ聖靈(성령)이 네게 臨(임)하시고 至極(지극)히 높으신 이의 能力(능력)이 너를 덮으시리니 이러므로 나실 바 ^ㅕ거룩한 者(자)는 하나님의 ^ㅗ아들이라 일컬으리라
    

31. Siehe, du wirst schwanger werden und einen Sohn "gebären," des Namen sollst du Jesus heißen.
    
32. Der wird groß sein und ein Sohn des Höchsten genannt werden; und Gott der HERR wird ihm den Stuhl seines Vaters David geben;
    
33. und er wird ein König sein über das Haus Jakob "ewiglich," und seines Königreiches wird kein Ende sein.
    
34. Da sprach Maria zu dem Engel: Wie soll das "zugehen," da ich von keinem Manne weiß?
    
35. Der Engel antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Der heilige Geist wird über dich "kommen," und die Kraft des Höchsten wird dich überschatten; darum wird auch das "Heilige," das von dir geboren "wird," Gottes Sohn genannt werden.
    

31. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus.
    
32. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David,
    
33. and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
    
34. "How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?"
    
35. The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
    

36. 보라, 네 親族(친족) 엘리사벳도 늙어서 아들을 배었느니라 本來(본래) ^ㅛ受胎(수태)하지 못한다 하던 이가 이미 여섯 달이 되었나니
    
37. 大抵(대저) ^ㅜ하나님의 모든 말씀은 能(능)치 못하심이 없느니라
    
38. 마리아가 가로되 主(주)의 계집종이오니 말씀대로 내게 이루어지이다 하매 ^ㅠ天使(천사)가 떠나가니라
    
39. 이 때에 마리아가 일어나 빨리 ^으山中(산중)에 가서 유대 한 洞里(동리)에 이르러
    
40. 사가랴의 집에 들어가 엘리사벳에게 問安(문안)하니
    

36. Und "siehe," "Elisabeth," deine "Gefreunde," ist auch schwanger mit einem Sohn in ihrem Alter und geht jetzt im sechsten "Monat," von der man "sagt," daß sie unfruchtbar sei.
    
37. Denn bei Gott ist kein Ding unmöglich.
    
38. Maria aber sprach: Siehe ich bin des HERRN Magd; mir "geschehe," wie du gesagt hast. Und der Engel schied von ihr.
    
39. Maria aber stand auf in den Tagen und ging auf das Gebirge eilends zu der Stadt Juda's
    
40. und kam in das Haus des Zacharias und grüßte Elisabeth.
    

36. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month.
    
37. For nothing is impossible with God."
    
38. "I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her.
    
39. At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea,
    
40. where she entered Zechariah's home and greeted Elizabeth.
    

41. 엘리사벳이 마리아의 問安(문안)함을 들으매 아이가 腹中(복중)에서 뛰노는지라 엘리사벳이 ^이聖靈(성령)의 充滿(충만)함을 입어
    
42. 큰 소리로 불러 가로되 女子(녀자) 中(중)에 ^ㅐ네가 福(복)이 있으며 ^ㄱ네 胎中(태중)의 아이도 ^ㄴ福(복)이 있도다
    
43. ^ㄷ내 主(주)의 母親(모친)이 내게 나아오니 이 어찌 된 일인고
    
44. 보라, 네 問安(문안)하는 소리가 내 귀에 들릴 때에 아이가 내 腹中(복중)에서 기쁨으로 뛰놀았도다
    
45. ^ㄹ믿은 女子(녀자)에게 ^ㅁ福(복)이 있도다 主(주)께서 그에게 하신 말씀이 반드시 이루리라
    

41. Und es begab "sich," als Elisabeth den Gruß Marias "hörte," hüpfte das Kind in ihrem Leibe. Und Elisabeth ward des heiligen Geistes voll
    
42. und rief laut und sprach: Gebenedeit bist du unter den "Weibern," und gebenedeit ist die Frucht deines Leibes!
    
43. Und woher kommt mir "das," daß die Mutter meines HERRN zu mir kommt?
    
44. Siehe, da ich die Stimme deines Grußes "hörte," hüpfte mit Freuden das Kind in meinem Leibe.
    
45. Und o selig bist "du," die du geglaubt hast! denn es wird vollendet "werden," was dir gesagt ist von dem HERRN.
    

41. When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
    
42. In a loud voice she exclaimed: "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!
    
43. But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
    
44. As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.
    
45. Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!"
    

46. 마리아가 가로되 ^ㅂ내 ^ㅅ靈魂(령혼)이 ^ㅇ主(주)를 讚揚(찬양)하며
    
47. ^ㅈ내 마음이 ^ㅊ하나님 내 救主(구주)를 기뻐하였음은
    
48. ^ㅋ그 계집종의 卑賤(비천)함을 돌아 보셨음이라 보라, 이제 後(후)로는 萬歲(만세)에 ^ㅌ나를 福(복)이 있다 일컬으리로다
    
49. ^ㅍ能(능)하신 이가 ^ㅎ큰 일을 내게 行(행)하셨으니 ^ㅏ그 이름이 거룩하시며
    
50. ^ㅑ矜恤(긍휼)하심이 두려워하는 者(자)에게 代代(대대)로 이르는도다
    

46. Und Maria sprach: Meine Seele erhebt den "HERRN,"
    
47. und mein Geist freuet sich "Gottes," meines Heilands;
    
48. denn er hat die Niedrigkeit seiner Magd angesehen. "Siehe," von nun an werden mich selig preisen alle Kindeskinder;
    
49. denn er hat große Dinge an mir "getan," der da mächtig ist und des Name heilig ist.
    
50. Und seine Barmherzigkeit währet immer für und für bei "denen," die ihn fürchten.
    

46. And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord
    
47. and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
    
48. for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed,
    
49. for the Mighty One has done great things for me--holy is his name.
    
50. His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation.
    

51. ^ㅓ그의 팔로 힘을 보이사 ^ㅕ마음의 생각이 驕慢(교만)한 者(자)들을 흩으셨고
    
52. ^ㅗ權勢(권세)있는 者(자)를 그 위에서 내리치셨으며 卑賤(비천)한 者(자)를 높이셨고
    
53. ^ㅛ주리는 者(자)를 좋은 것으로 배불리셨으며 ^ㅜ富者(부자)를 空手(공수)로 보내셨도다
    
54. 그 종 ^ㅠ이스라엘을 ^으도우사 ^이矜恤(긍휼)히 여기시고 記憶(기억)하시되
    
55. ^ㅐ우리 祖上(조상)에게 말씀하신 것과 같이 아브라함과 및 그 子孫(자손)에게 永遠(영원)히 하시리로다 하니라
    

51. Er übet Gewalt mit seinem Arm und "zerstreut," die hoffärtig sind in ihres Herzens Sinn.
    
52. Er stößt die Gewaltigen vom Stuhl und erhebt die Niedrigen.
    
53. Die Hungrigen füllt er mit Gütern und läßt die Reichen leer.
    
54. Er denkt der Barmherzigkeit und hilft seinem Diener Israel wieder "auf,"
    
55. wie er geredet hat unsern "Vätern," Abraham und seinem Samen ewiglich.
    

51. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.
    
52. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble.
    
53. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty.
    
54. He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful
    
55. to Abraham and his descendants forever, even as he said to our fathers."
    

56. 마리아가 석 달쯤 함께 있다가 집으로 돌아 가니라
    
57. 엘리사벳이 解産(해산)할 期限(기한)이 차서 아들을 낳으니
    
58. 이웃과 親族(친족)이 主(주)께서 저를 크게 ^ㄱ矜恤(긍휼)히 여기심을 듣고 함께 즐거워 하더라
    
59. ^ㄴ八日(팔일)이 되매 아이를 割禮(할례)하러 와서 그 父親(부친)의 이름을 따라 사가랴라 하고자 하더니
    
60. 그 母親(모친)이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 아니라 ^ㄷ요한이라 할 것이라 하매
    

56. Und Maria blieb bei ihr bei drei Monaten; darnach kehrte sie wiederum heim.
    
57. Und Elisabeth kam ihre "Zeit," daß sie gebären sollte; und sie gebar einen Sohn.
    
58. Und ihre Nachbarn und Gefreunde "hörten," daß der HERR große Barmherzigkeit an ihr getan "hatte," und freuten sich mit ihr.
    
59. Und es begab sich am achten "Tage," da kamen "sie," zu beschneiden das "Kindlein," und hießen ihn nach seinem Vater Zacharias. {~}
    
60. Aber seine Mutter antwortete und sprach: "Mitnichten," sondern er soll Johannes heißen.
    

56. Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then returned home.
    
57. When it was time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth to a son.
    
58. Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy.
    
59. On the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they were going to name him after his father Zechariah,
    
60. but his mother spoke up and said, "No! He is to be called John."
    

61. 저희가 가로되 네 親族(친족) 中(중)에 이 이름으로 이름한 이가 없다 하고
    
62. 그 父親(부친)께 ^ㄹ形容(형용)하여 무엇으로 이름하려 하는가 물으니
    
63. 저가 ^ㅁ書板(서판)을 달라 하여 그 이름은 요한이라 쓰매 다 奇異(기이)히 여기더라
    
64. 이에 ^ㅂ그 입이 곧 열리고 ^ㅅ혀가 풀리며 말을 하여 ^ㅇ하나님을 讚頌(찬송)하니
    
65. 그 近處(근처)에 사는 者(자)가 다 ^ㅈ두려워하고 이 모든 말이 ^ㅊ온 유대 山中(산중)에 두루 퍼지매
    

61. Und sie sprachen zu ihr: Ist doch niemand in deiner "Freundschaft," der also heiße.
    
62. Und sie winkten seinem "Vater," wie er ihn wollte heißen lassen.
    
63. Und er forderte ein Täfelein und schrieb also: Er heißt Johannes. Und sie verwunderten sich alle.
    
64. Und alsbald ward sein Mund und seine Zunge "aufgetan," und er redete und lobte Gott.
    
65. Und es kam eine Furcht über alle Nachbarn; und die ganze Geschichte ward ruchbar auf dem ganzen jüdischen Gebirge.
    

61. They said to her, "There is no one among your relatives who has that name."
    
62. Then they made signs to his father, to find out what he would like to name the child.
    
63. He asked for a writing tablet, and to everyone's astonishment he wrote, "His name is John."
    
64. Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue was loosed, and he began to speak, praising God.
    
65. The neighbors were all filled with awe, and throughout the hill country of Judea people were talking about all these things.
    

66. 듣는 사람이 다 ^ㅋ이 말을 마음에 두며 가로되 이 아이가 將次(장차) 어찌 될꼬 하니 이는 ^ㅌ主(주)의 손이 저와 함께 하심이러라
    
67. 그 父親(부친) 사가랴가 ^ㅍ聖靈(성령)의 充滿(충만)함을 입어 ^ㅎ豫言(예언)하여 가로되
    
68. ^ㅏ讚頌(찬송)하리로다 主(주) ^ㅑ이스라엘의 하나님이여 ^ㅓ그 百姓(백성)을 돌아보사 ^ㅕ贖良(속량)하시며
    
69. ^ㅗ우리를 爲(위)하여 救援(구원)의 뿔을 ^ㅛ그 종 다윗의 집에 ^ㅜ일으키셨으니
    
70. 이것은 ^ㅠ主(주)께서 ^으예로부터 거룩한 先知者(선지자)의 입으로 말씀하신 바와 같이
    

66. Und "alle," die es "hörten," nahmen's zu Herzen und sprachen: "Was," meinst "du," will aus dem Kindlein werden? Denn die Hand des HERRN war mit ihm.
    
67. Und sein Vater Zacharias ward des heiligen Geistes "voll," weissagte und sprach:
    
68. Gelobet sei der "HERR," der Gott Israels! denn er hat besucht und erlöst sein Volk
    
69. und hat uns aufgerichtet ein Horn des Heils in dem Hause seines Dieners "David,"
    
70. wie er vorzeiten geredet hat durch den Mund des Propheten: {~} {~}
    

66. Everyone who heard this wondered about it, asking, "What then is this child going to be?" For the Lord's hand was with him.
    
67. His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:
    
68. "Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people.
    
69. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David
    
70. (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago),
    

71. ^이우리 怨讐(원수)에게서와 우리를 미워하는 모든 者(자)의 손에서 救援(구원)하시는 救援(구원)이라
    
72. ^ㅐ우리 祖上(조상)을 矜恤(긍휼)히 여기시며 그 ^ㄱ거룩한 言約(언약)을 ^ㄴ記憶(기억)하셨으니
    
73. ^ㄷ곧 우리 祖上(조상) 아브라함에게 盟誓(맹서)하신 盟誓(맹서)라
    
74. 우리로 怨讐(원수)의 손에서 건지심을 입고
    
75. ^ㄹ終身(종신)토록 主(주)의 앞에서 ^ㅁ聖潔(성결)과 義(의)로 ^ㅂ두려움이 없이 섬기게 하리라 하셨도다
    

71. daß er uns errettete von unseren Feinden und von der Hand "aller," die uns "hassen,"
    
72. und Barmherzigkeit erzeigte unsern Vätern und gedächte an seinen heiligen Bund
    
73. und an den "Eid," den er geschworen hat unserm Vater "Abraham," uns zu "geben,"
    
74. daß "wir," erlöst aus der Hand unserer "Feinde," ihm dienten ohne Furcht unser Leben lang
    
75. in Heiligkeit und "Gerechtigkeit," die ihm gefällig ist.
    

71. salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us--
    
72. to show mercy to our fathers and to remember his holy covenant,
    
73. the oath he swore to our father Abraham:
    
74. to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear
    
75. in holiness and righteousness before him all our days.
    

76. 이 아이여 네가 ^ㅅ至極(지극)히 높으신 이의 ^ㅇ先知者(선지자)라 일컬음을 받고 ^ㅈ主(주) 앞에 앞서 가서 그 길을 豫備(예비)하여
    
77. 主(주)의 百姓(백성)에게 그 ^ㅊ罪(죄) 赦(사)함으로 말미암는 救援(구원)을 알게 하리니
    
78. 이는 ^ㅋ우리 하나님의 矜恤(긍휼)을 因(인)함이라 이로써 ^ㅌ돋는 해가 ^ㅍ위로부터 ^ㅎ우리에게 臨(임)하여
    
79. ^ㅏ어두움과 죽음의 그늘에 앉은 者(자)에게 ^ㅑ비취고 우리 발을 ^ㅓ平康(평강)의 ^ㅕ길로 引導(인도)하시리로다 하니라
    
80. ^ㅗ아이가 자라며 心靈(심령)이 强(강)하여지며 이스라엘에게 나타나는 날까지 ^ㅛ빈 들에 있으니라
    

76. Und "du," "Kindlein," wirst ein Prophet des Höchsten heißen. Du wirst vor dem HERRN her "gehen," daß du seinen Weg bereitest{~}
    
77. und Erkenntnis des Heils gebest seinem "Volk," das da ist in Vergebung ihrer Sünden;
    
78. durch die herzliche Barmherzigkeit unsers "Gottes," durch welche uns besucht hat der Aufgang aus der "Höhe,"
    
79. auf daß er erscheine "denen," die da sitzen in Finsternis und Schatten des "Todes," und richte unsere Füße auf den Weg des Friedens.
    
80. Und das Kindlein wuchs und ward stark im Geist; und er war in der "Wüste," bis daß er sollte hervortreten vor das Volk Israel.
    

76. And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him,
    
77. to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins,
    
78. because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven
    
79. to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace."
    
80. And the child grew and became strong in spirit; and he lived in the desert until he appeared publicly to Israel.
