신명기(Deuteronomio) 4장 [개역한글 : RV1909 : NIV]

1. 이스라엘아, 이제 내가 너희에게 가르치는 ^ㄱ規例(규례)와 法度(법도)를 듣고 遵行(준행)하라 ^ㄴ그리하면 너희가 살 것이요 너희의 列祖(열조)의 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 주시는 땅에 들어가서 그것을 얻게 되리라
   
2. ^ㄷ내가 너희에게 命(명)하는 말을 너희는 加減(가감)하지 말고 내가 너희에게 命(명)하는 너희 하나님 여호와의 命令(명령)을 지키라
   
3. 여호와께서 ^ㄹ바알브올의 일을 因(인)하여 行(행)하신 바를 너희가 目覩(목도)하였거니와 바알브올을 좇은 모든 사람을 너의 하나님 여호와께서 너의 中(중)에서 殄滅(진멸)하셨으되
   
4. 오직, 너희의 하나님 여호와께 붙어 떠나지 않은 너희는 오늘까지 다 生存(생존)하였느니라
   
5. 내가 나의 하나님 여호와의 命(명)하신 대로 規例(규례)와 法度(법도)를 너희에게 가르쳤나니 이는 너희로 들어가서 基業(기업)으로 얻을 땅에서 그대로 行(행)하게 하려 함인즉
   

1. AHORA "pues," oh "Israel," oye los estatutos y derechos que yo os "enseño," para que los "ejecutéis," y "viváis," y "entréis," y poseáis la tierra que Jehová el Dios de vuestros padres te da.
   
2. No añadiréis á la palabra que yo os "mando," ni disminuiréis de "ella," para que guardéis los mandamientos de Jehová vuestro Dios que yo os ordeno.
   
3. Vuestros ojos vieron lo que hizo Jehová con motivo de Baal-peor; que á todo hombre que fué en pos de Baal-peor destruyó Jehová tu Dios de en medio de ti.
   
4. Mas vosotros que os allegasteis á Jehová vuestro "Dios," todos estáis vivos hoy.
   
5. Mirad, yo os he enseñado estatutos y "derechos," como Jehová mi Dios me "mandó," para que hagáis así en medio de la tierra en la cual entráis para poseerla.
   

1. Hear now, O Israel, the decrees and laws I am about to teach you. Follow them so that you may live and may go in and take possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, is giving you.
   
2. Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you.
   
3. You saw with your own eyes what the LORD did at Baal Peor. The LORD your God destroyed from among you everyone who followed the Baal of Peor,
   
4. but all of you who held fast to the LORD your God are still alive today.
   
5. See, I have taught you decrees and laws as the LORD my God commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land you are entering to take possession of it.
   

6. 너희는 ^ㅁ지켜 行(행)하라 ^ㅂ그리함은 列國(렬국) 앞에 너희의 智慧(지혜)요 너희의 知識(지식)이라 그들이 이 모든 規例(규례)를 듣고 이르기를 이 큰 나라 사람은 果然(과연) 智慧(지혜)와 知識(지식)이 있는 百姓(백성)이로다 하리라
   
7. ^ㅅ우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리가 그에게 祈禱(기도)할 때마다 우리에게 가까이 하심과 같이 그 ^ㅇ神(신)의 가까이 함을 얻은 나라가 어디 있느냐
   
8. 오늘 내가 너희에게 宣布(선포)하는 이 律法(률법)과 같이 그 規例(규례)와 法度(법도)가 ^ㅈ公義(공의)로운 큰 나라가 어디 있느냐
   
9. ^ㅊ오직 너는 스스로 삼가며 ^ㅋ네 마음을 힘써 지키라 두렵건대 네가 그 目覩(목도)한 일을 잊어버릴까 하노라 두렵건대 네 生存(생존)하는 날 동안에 그 일들이 네 마음 속에서 떠날까 하노라 너는 그 일들을 ^ㅌ네 아들들과 네 孫子(손자)들에게 알게 하라
   
10. ^ㅍ네가 호렙山(산)에서 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 섰던 날에 여호와께서 내게 이르시기를 ^ㅎ나를 爲(위)하여 百姓(백성)을 모으라 내가 그들에게 내 말을 들려서 그들로 ^ㅏ世上(세상)에 사는 날 동안 ^ㅑ나 敬畏(경외)함을 배우게 하며 그 子女(자녀)에게 가르치게 하려 하노라 하시매
    

6. Guardadlos, "pues," y ponedlos por obra: porque esta es vuestra sabiduría y vuestra inteligencia en ojos de los "pueblos," los cuales oirán todos estos "estatutos," y dirán: Ciertamente pueblo sabio y "entendido," gente grande es ésta.
   
7. Porque ¿qué gente grande hay que tenga los dioses cercanos á "sí," como lo está Jehová nuestro Dios en todo cuanto le pedimos?
   
8. Y ¿qué gente grande hay que tenga estatutos y derechos "justos," como es toda esta ley que yo pongo hoy delante de vosotros?
   
9. Por "tanto," "guárdate," y guarda tu alma con "diligencia," que no te olvides de las cosas que tus ojos han "visto," ni se aparten de tu corazón todos los días de tu vida: y enseñarlas has á tus "hijos," y á los hijos de tus hijos;
   
10. El día que estuviste delante de Jehová tu Dios en "Horeb," cuando Jehová me dijo: Júntame el "pueblo," para que yo les haga oir mis "palabras," las cuales "aprenderán," para temerme todos los días que vivieren sobre la tierra: y l㙠˽ 㙠˽ 紐˳ 曠ʧ 㛈˽ 㚀˽ 䀀 㚀˽ d>

6. Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say, "Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people."
   
7. What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him?
   
8. And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws I am setting before you today?
   
9. Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.
   
10. Remember the day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, when he said to me, "Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me as long as they live in the land and may teach them to their children."
    

11. ^ㅓ너희가 가까이 나아와서 山(산) 아래 서니 ^ㅕ그 山(산)에 불이 붙어 火焰(화염)이 衝天(충천)하고 幽闇(유암)과 구름과 黑暗(흑암)이 덮였는데
    
12. ^ㅗ여호와께서 火焰(화염) 中(중)에서 너희에게 말씀하시되 ^ㅛ音聲(음성) 뿐이므로 너희가 그 말소리만 듣고 ^ㅜ形像(형상)은 보지 못하였느니라
    
13. ^ㅠ여호와께서 그 言約(언약)을 너희에게 頒布(반포)하시고 너희로 지키라 命(명)하셨으니 곧 ^으十誡命(십계명)이며 ^이두 돌板(판)에 親(친)히 쓰신 것이라
    
14. 그 때에 ^ㅐ여호와께서 내게 命(명)하사 너희에게 規例(규례)와 法度(법도)를 敎訓(교훈)하게 하셨나니 이는 너희로 건너가서 얻을 땅에서 行(행)하게 하심이니라
    
15. 여호와께서 호렙山(산) 火焰(화염) 中(중)에서 너희에게 말씀하시던 날에 ^ㄱ너희가 아무 形像(형상)도 보지 못하였은즉 너희는 깊이 ^ㄴ삼가라
    

11. Y os "llegasteis," y os pusisteis al pie del monte; y el monte ardía en fuego hasta en medio de los cielos con "tinieblas," "nube," y oscuridad.
    
12. Y habló Jehová con vosotros de en medio del fuego: oisteis la voz de sus "palabras," mas á excepción de oir la "voz," ninguna figura visteis:
    
13. Y él os anunció su "pacto," el cual os mandó poner por "obra," las diez palabras; y escribiólas en dos tablas de piedra.
    
14. A mí también me mandó Jehová entonces enseñaros los estatutos y "derechos," para que los pusieseis por obra en la tierra á la cual pasáis para poseerla.
    
15. Guardad pues mucho vuestras almas: pues ninguna figura visteis el día que Jehová habló con vosotros de en medio del fuego:
    

11. You came near and stood at the foot of the mountain while it blazed with fire to the very heavens, with black clouds and deep darkness.
    
12. Then the LORD spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form; there was only a voice.
    
13. He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets.
    
14. And the LORD directed me at that time to teach you the decrees and laws you are to follow in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.
    
15. You saw no form of any kind the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves very carefully,
    

16. 두렵건대 ^ㄷ스스로 腐敗(부패)하여 自己(자기)를 爲(위)하여 아무 形像(형상)대로든지 ^ㄹ偶像(우상)을 새겨 만들되 ^ㅁ男子(남자)의 形像(형상)이라든지, 女子(녀자)의 形像(형상)이라든지,
    
17. 땅 위에 있는 아무 짐승의 形像(형상)이라든지, 하늘에 나는 아무 새의 形像(형상)이라든지,
    
18. 또 두렵건대 네가 하늘을 向(향)하여 눈을 들어 ^ㅂ日月(일월) 星辰(성신) ^ㅅ하늘 위의 群衆(군중) 곧 너희 하나님 여호와께서 天下(천하) 萬民(만민)을 爲(위)하여 分定(분정)하신 것을 보고 迷惑(미혹)하여 그것에 敬拜(경배)하며 섬길까 하노라
    
19. 여호와께서 너희를 擇(택)하시고 너희를 ^ㅇ쇠풀무 곧 애굽에서 引導(인도)하여 내사 ^ㅈ自己(자기) 基業(기업)의 百姓(백성)을 삼으신 것이 오늘과 같아도
    

16. Porque no os "corrompáis," y hagáis para vosotros "escultura," imagen de figura "alguna," efigie de varón ó "hembra,"
    
17. Figura de algún animal que sea en la "tierra," figura de ave alguna alada que vuele por el "aire,"
    
18. Figura de ningún animal que vaya arrastrando por la "tierra," figura de pez alguno que haya en el agua debajo de la tierra:
    
19. Y porque alzando tus ojos al "cielo," y viendo el sol y la luna y las "estrellas," y todo el ejército del "cielo," no seas "incitado," y te inclines á "ellos," y les sirvas; que Jehová tu Dios los ha concedido á todos los pueblos debajo de todos los cielos.
    
20. Empero á vosotros Jehová os "tomó," y os ha sacado del horno de "hierro," de "Egipto," para que le seáis por pueblo de heredad como en este día.
    

16. so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman,
    
17. or like any animal on earth or any bird that flies in the air,
    
18. or like any creature that moves along the ground or any fish in the waters below.
    
19. And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars--all the heavenly array--do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.
    
20. But as for you, the LORD took you and brought you out of the iron-smelting furnace, out of Egypt, to be the people of his inheritance, as you now are.
    

21. ^ㅊ여호와께서 너희로 因(인)하여 내게 震怒(진노)하사 나로 ^ㅋ요단을 건너지 못하며 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 基業(기업)으로 주신 그 아름다운 땅에 들어가지 못하게 하리라고 盟誓(맹서)하셨은즉
    
22. 나는 이 땅에서 죽고 요단을 건너지 못하려니와 너희는 건너가서 ^ㅌ그 아름다운 땅을 얻으리니
    
23. 너희는 ^ㅍ스스로 삼가서 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희와 세우신 言約(언약)을 잊어버려서 네 하나님 여호와께서 禁(금)하신 아무 形像(형상)의 偶像(우상)이든지 彫刻(조각)하지 말라
    
24. ^ㅎ네 하나님 여호와는 燒滅(소멸)하는 불이시요 ^ㅏ嫉妬(질투)하는 하나님이시니라
    
25. 네가 그 땅에서 아들을 낳고 孫子(손자)를 얻으며 오래 살 때에 萬一(만일) ^ㅑ스스로 腐敗(부패)하여 무슨 形像(형상)의 偶像(우상)이든지 彫刻(조각)하여 네 하나님 ^ㅓ여호와 앞에 惡(악)을 行(행)함으로 그의 怒(노)를 激發(격발)하면
    

21. Y Jehová se enojó contra mí sobre vuestros "negocios," y juró que yo no pasaría el "Jordán," ni entraría en la buena "tierra," que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad.
    
22. Así que yo voy á morir en esta tierra; y no paso el Jordán: mas vosotros "pasaréis," y poseeréis aquella buena tierra.
    
23. Guardaos no os olvidéis del pacto de Jehová vuestro "Dios," que él estableció con "vosotros," y os hagáis escultura ó imagen de cualquier "cosa," que Jehová tu Dios te ha vedado.
    
24. Porque Jehová tu Dios es fuego que "consume," Dios celoso.
    
25. Cuando hubiereis engendrado hijos y "nietos," y hubiereis envejecido en la "tierra," y os "corrompiereis," é hiciereis escultura ó imagen de cualquier "cosa," é hiciereis mal en ojos de Jehová vuestro "Dios," para enojarlo;
    

21. The LORD was angry with me because of you, and he solemnly swore that I would not cross the Jordan and enter the good land the LORD your God is giving you as your inheritance.
    
22. I will die in this land; I will not cross the Jordan; but you are about to cross over and take possession of that good land.
    
23. Be careful not to forget the covenant of the LORD your God that he made with you; do not make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything the LORD your God has forbidden.
    
24. For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
    
25. After you have had children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time--if you then become corrupt and make any kind of idol, doing evil in the eyes of the LORD your God and provoking him to anger,
    

26. 내가 오늘날 ^ㅕ天地(천지)를 불러 證據(증거)를 삼노니 너희가 요단을 건너가서 얻는 땅에서 速(속)히 亡(망)할 것이라 너희가 거기서 너희 날이 길지 못하고 全滅(전멸)될 것이니라
    
27. 여호와께서 ^ㅗ너희를 列國(렬국) 中(중)에 흩으실 것이요 여호와께서 너희를 쫓아 보내실 그 列國(렬국) 中(중)에 ^ㅛ너희의 남은 數(수)가 많지 못할 것이며
    
28. 너희는 ^ㅜ거기서 사람의 손으로 만든바 ^ㅠ보지도 못하며 듣지도 못하며 먹지도 못하며 냄새도 맡지 못하는 木石(목석)의 神(신)들을 섬기리라
    
29. ^으그러나 네가 거기서 네 하나님 여호와를 求(구)하게 되리니 萬一(만일) 마음을 다하고 性稟(성품)을 다하여 그를 求(구)하면 만나리라
    
30. ^이이 모든 일이 네게 臨(임)하여 患難(환난)을 當(당)하다가 끝날에 네가 네 하나님 여호와께로 돌아와서 그 말씀을 聽從(청종)하리니
    

26. Yo pongo hoy por testigos al cielo y á la "tierra," que presto pereceréis totalmente de la tierra hacia la cual pasáis el Jordán para poseerla: no estaréis en ella largos días sin que seáis destruídos.
    
27. Y Jehová os esparcirá entre los "pueblos," y quedaréis pocos en número entre las gentes á las cuales os llevará Jehová:
    
28. Y serviréis allí á dioses hechos de manos de "hombres," á madera y á "piedra," que no "ven," ni "oyen," ni "comen," ni huelen.
    
29. Mas si desde allí buscares á Jehová tu "Dios," lo "hallarás," si lo buscares de todo tu corazón y de toda tu alma.
    
30. Cuando estuviereis en "angustia," y te alcanzaren todas estas "cosas," si en los postreros días te volvieres á Jehová tu "Dios," y oyeres su voz;
    

26. I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you this day that you will quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess. You will not live there long but will certainly be destroyed.
    
27. The LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the LORD will drive you.
    
28. There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell.
    
29. But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.
    
30. When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey him.
    

31. 네 하나님 여호와는 ^ㅐ慈悲(자비)하신 하나님이심이라 그가 ^ㄱ너를 버리지 아니하시며 너를 滅(멸)하지 아니하시며 네 列祖(열조)에게 盟誓(맹서)하신 言約(언약)을 잊지 아니하시리라
    
32. ^ㄴ네가 있기 前(전) 하나님이 사람을 世上(세상)에 創造(창조)하신 날부터 지금까지 지나간 날을 詳考(상고)하여 보라 하늘 이 끝에서 저 끝까지 이런 큰 일이 있었느냐 이런 일을 들은 적이 있었느냐
    
33. 어떤 國民(국민)이 ^ㄷ불 가운데서 말씀하시는 하나님의 音聲(음성)을 너처럼 듣고 生存(생존)하였었느냐
    
34. 어떤 神(신)이 와서 ^ㄹ試驗(시험)과 ^ㅁ異蹟(이적)과 奇事(기사)와 ^ㅂ戰爭(전쟁)과 ^ㅅ强(강)한 손과 ^ㅇ편 팔과 크게 두려운 일로 한 民族(민족)을 다른 民族(민족)에게서 引導(인도)하여 낸 일이 있느냐 이는 다 너희 하나님 여호와께서 애굽에서 너희를 爲(위)하여 너희의 目前(목전)에서 行(행)하신 일이라
    
35. 이것을 네게 나타내심은 ^ㅈ여호와는 하나님이시요 ^ㅊ그 外(외)에는 다른 神(신)이 없음을 네게 알게 하려 하심이니라
    

31. Porque Dios misericordioso es Jehová tu Dios; no te "dejará," ni te "destruirá," ni se olvidará del pacto de tus padres que les juró.
    
32. Porque pregunta ahora de los tiempos "pasados," que han sido antes de "ti," desde el día que crió Dios al hombre sobre la "tierra," y desde el un cabo del cielo al "otro," si se ha hecho cosa semejante á esta gran "cosa," ó se haya oído otra como ella.
    
33. ¿Ha oído pueblo la voz de "Dios," que hablase de en medio del "fuego," como tú la has "oído," y vivido?
    
34. ¿O ha Dios probado á venir á tomar para sí gente de en medio de otra "gente," con "pruebas," con "señales," con "milagros," y con "guerra," y mano "fuerte," y brazo "extendido," y grandes "espantos," según todas las cosas que hizo con vosotros Jehová vuestro Dios en Egipto ante tus ojos?
    
35. A ti te fué "mostrado," para que supieses que Jehová él es Dios; no hay más fuera de él.
    

31. For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath.
    
32. Ask now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created man on the earth; ask from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of?
    
33. Has any other people heard the voice of God speaking out of fire, as you have, and lived?
    
34. Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by miraculous signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?
    
35. You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD is God; besides him there is no other.
    

36. 여호와께서 너를 敎訓(교훈)하시려고 ^ㅋ하늘에서부터 그 音聲(음성)을 너로 듣게 하시며 땅에서는 그 큰 불을 네게 보이시고 너로 불가운데서 나오는 그 말씀을 듣게 하셨느니라
    
37. ^ㅌ여호와께서 네 列祖(열조)를 사랑하신 故(고)로 그 後孫(후손) 너를 擇(택)하시고 큰 權能(권능)으로 ^ㅍ親(친)히 引導(인도)하여 애굽에서 나오게 하시며
    
38. 너보다 强大(강대)한 列國(렬국)을 ^ㅎ네 앞에서 쫓아내고 너를 그들의 땅으로 引導(인도)하여 들여서 그것을 네게 基業(기업)으로 주려 하심이 오늘과 같으니라
    
39. 그런즉 너는 오늘날 上天(상천) 下地(하지)에 오직 ^ㅏ여호와는 하나님이시요 다른 神(신)이 없는 줄을 알아 銘心(명심)하고
    
40. 오늘 내가 네게 命(명)하는 ^ㅑ여호와의 規例(규례)와 命令(명령)을 지키라 ^ㅓ너와 네 後孫(후손)이 福(복)을 받아 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅에서 限(한)없이 오래 살리라
    

36. De los cielos te hizo oir su "voz," para enseñarte: y sobre la tierra te mostró su gran fuego: y has oído sus palabras de en medio del fuego.
    
37. Y por cuanto él amó á tus "padres," escogió su simiente después de "ellos," y sacóte delante de sí de Egipto con su gran poder;
    
38. Para echar de delante de ti gentes grandes y más fuertes que "tú," y para "introducirte," y darte su tierra por "heredad," como hoy.
    
39. Aprende pues "hoy," y reduce á tu corazón que Jehová él es el Dios arriba en el "cielo," y abajo sobre la tierra; no hay otro.
    
40. Y guarda sus estatutos y sus "mandamientos," que yo te mando "hoy," para que te vaya bien á ti y á tus hijos después de "ti," y prolongues tus días sobre la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da para siempre.
    

36. From heaven he made you hear his voice to discipline you. On earth he showed you his great fire, and you heard his words from out of the fire.
    
37. Because he loved your forefathers and chose their descendants after them, he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength,
    
38. to drive out before you nations greater and stronger than you and to bring you into their land to give it to you for your inheritance, as it is today.
    
39. Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.
    
40. Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the LORD your God gives you for all time.
    

41. 때에 모세가 요단 이便(편) 해 돋는 便(편)에서 세 ^{㙠˽ 㙠˽ 紐˳ 曠ʧ 㛈˽ 㚀˽ 䀀 㚀˽ size=3 color=#000000>}이는 過去(과거)에 ^ㅗ怨嫌(원혐)이 없이 不知中(부지중)에 誤殺(오살)한 者(자)로 그곳으로 逃避(도피)케 하기 위함이며 그 한 城邑(성읍)으로 逃避(도피)한 者(자)로 그 生命(생명)을 保存(보존)케 하기 爲(위)함이라
    
42. 하나는 ^ㅛ曠野(광야) 平原(평원)에 있는 ^ㅜ베셀이라 르우벤 支派(지파)를 爲(위)한 것이요 하나는 길르앗 라못이라 갓 支派(지파)를 爲(위)한 것이요 하나는 바산 골란이라 므낫세 支派(지파)를 爲(위)한 것이었더라
    
43. 모세가 이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게 宣布(선포)한 律法(률법)이 이러하니라
    
44. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 애굽에서 나온 後(후)에 證據(증거)하신 것과 規例(규례)와 法度(법도)를 모세가 宣布(선포)하였으니
    

41. Entonces apartó Moisés tres ciudades de esta parte del Jordán al nacimiento del "sol,"
    
42. Para que huyese allí el homicida que matase á su prójimo por "yerro," sin haber tenido enemistad con él desde ayer ni antes de ayer; y que huyendo á una de estas ciudades salvara la vida:
    
43. A Beser en el "desierto," en tierra de la "llanura," de los Rubenitas; y á Ramoth en "Galaad," de los Gaditas; y á Golán en "Basán," de los de Manasés.
    
44. Esta, "pues," es la ley que Moisés propuso delante de los hijos de Israel.
    
45. Estos son los "testimonios," y los "estatutos," y los "derechos," que Moisés notificó á los hijos de "Israel," cuando hubieron salido de Egipto;
    

41. Then Moses set aside three cities east of the Jordan,
    
42. to which anyone who had killed a person could flee if he had unintentionally killed his neighbor without malice aforethought. He could flee into one of these cities and save his life.
    
43. The cities were these: Bezer in the desert plateau, for the Reubenites; Ramoth in Gilead, for the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, for the Manassites.
    
44. This is the law Moses set before the Israelites.
    
45. These are the stipulations, decrees and laws Moses gave them when they came out of Egypt
    

46. 요단 東便(동편) ^ㅠ벳브올 맞은便(편) 골짜기에서라 이 땅은 헤스본에 居(거)하는 아모리 族屬(족속)의 王(왕) 시혼에게 屬(속)하였더니 모세와 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 애굽에서 나온 後(후)에 ^으그를 쳐서 滅(멸)하고
    
47. 그 땅을 基業(기업)으로 얻었고 또 ^이바산 王(왕) 옥의 땅을 얻었으니 그 두 사람은 아모리 族屬(족속)의 王(왕)으로서 요단 이便(편) 해 돋는 便(편)에 居(거)하였었으며
    
48. 그 얻은 땅은 아르논 골짜기 가의 ^ㅐ아로엘에서부터 ^ㄱ시온山(산) 곧 ^ㄴ헤르몬山(산)까지요
    
49. 요단 이便(편) 곧 그 東便(동편) 온 아라바니 ^ㄷ비스가 山麓(산록) 아래 ^ㄹ아라바의 바다까지니라
    

46. De esta parte del "Jordán," en el valle delante de "Beth-peor," en la tierra de Sehón rey de los "Amorrheos," que habitaba en "Hesbón," al cual hirió Moisés con los hijos de "Israel," cuando hubieron salido de Egipto:
    
47. Y poseyeron su "tierra," y la tierra de Og rey de Basán; dos reyes de los Amorrheos que estaban de esta parte del "Jordán," al nacimiento del sol:
    
48. Desde "Aroer," que está junto á la ribera del arroyo de "Arnón," hasta el monte de "Sión," que es Hermón;
    
49. Y toda la llanura de esta parte del "Jordán," al "oriente," hasta la mar del "llano," las vertientes de las aguas abajo del Pisga.
    

46. and were in the valley near Beth Peor east of the Jordan, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon and was defeated by Moses and the Israelites as they came out of Egypt.
    
47. They took possession of his land and the land of Og king of Bashan, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan.
    
48. This land extended from Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge to Mount Siyon (that is, Hermon),
    
49. and included all the Arabah east of the Jordan, as far as the Sea of the Arabah, below the slopes of Pisgah.
