  1. 유다 王(왕) 아하시야의 아들 요아스의 二十三年(이십삼년)에 예후의 아들 여호아하스가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 王(왕)이 되어 十七年(십칠년)을 治理(치리)하며
  2. 여호와 보시기에 惡(악)을 行(행)하여 이스라엘로 犯罪(범죄)케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 罪(죄)를 좇고 떠나지 아니하였으므로
  3. 여호와께서 이스라엘을 向(향)하여 怒(노)를 發(발)하사 늘 아람 王(왕) 하사엘의 손과 그 아들 벤하닷의 손에 붙이셨더니
  4. 아람 王(왕)이 이스라엘을 虐待(학대)하므로 여호아하스가 여호와께 懇求(간구)하매 여호와께서 들으셨으니 이는 저희의 虐待(학대) 받음을 보셨음이라
  5. 여호와께서 이에 救援者(구원자)를 이스라엘에게 주시매 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 아람 사람의 손에서 벗어나 前(전)과 같이 自己(자기) 帳幕(장막)에 居(거)하였으나

  1. Im dreiundzwanzigsten Jahr des "Joas," des Sohnes "Ahasjas," des Königs "Juda's," ward "Joahas," der Sohn "Jehus," König über Israel zu Samaria siebzehn Jahre;
  2. und er "tat," was dem HERRN übel "gefiel," und wandelte nach den Sünden "Jerobeams," des Sohnes "Nebats," der Israel sündigen "machte," und ließ nicht davon.
  3. Und des HERRN Zorn ergrimmte über "Israel," und er gab sie in die Hand "Hasaels," des Königs von "Syrien," und "Benhadads," des Sohnes "Hasaels," die ganze Zeit. {~}
  4. Aber Joahas bat des HERRN Angesucht. Und der HERR erhörte ihn; denn er sah den Jammer Israels "an," wie sie der König von Syrien drängte.
  5. Und der HERR gab Israel einen "Heiland," der sie aus der Gewalt der Syrer "führte," daß die Kinder Israel in ihren Hütten wohnten wie zuvor.
  1. In the twenty-third year of Joash son of Ahaziah king of Judah, Jehoahaz son of Jehu became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned seventeen years.
  2. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD by following the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit, and he did not turn away from them.
  3. So the LORD'S anger burned against Israel, and for a long time he kept them under the power of Hazael king of Aram and Ben-Hadad his son.
  4. Then Jehoahaz sought the LORD'S favor, and the LORD listened to him, for he saw how severely the king of Aram was oppressing Israel.
  5. The LORD provided a deliverer for Israel, and they escaped from the power of Aram. So the Israelites lived in their own homes as they had before.
  1. 저희가 이스라엘로 犯罪(범죄)케 한 여로보암 집의 罪(죄)에서 떠나지 아니하고 좇아 行(행)하며 또 사마리아에 아세라 木像(목상)을 그저 두었더라
  2. 아람 王(왕)이 여호아하스의 百姓(백성)을 殄滅(진멸)하여 打作(타작) 마당의 티끌같이 되게 하고 馬兵(마병) 五十(오십)과 兵車(병거) 十乘(십승)과 步兵(보병) 一萬(일만) 外(외)에는 여호아하스에게 남겨두지 아니하였더라
  3. 여호아하스의 남은 事蹟(사적)과 모든 行(행)한 것과 그 權力(권력)은 이스라엘 王(왕) 歷代(력대) 志略(지략)에 記錄(기록)되지 아니하였느냐
  4. 여호아하스가 그 列祖(열조)와 함께 자매 사마리아에 葬事(장사)되고 그 아들 요아스가 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되니라
  5. 유다 王(왕) 요아스의 三十七年(삼십칠년)에 여호아하스의 아들 요아스가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 王(왕)이 되어 十六年(십륙년)을 治理(치리)하며

  1. Doch sie ließen nicht von der Sünde des Hauses "Jerobeams," der Israel sündigen "machte," sondern wandelten darin. Auch blieb stehen das Ascherabild zu Samaria.
  2. Denn es war des Volks des Joahas nicht mehr übriggeblieben als fünfzig "Reiter," zehn Wagen und zehntausend Mann Fußvolk. Denn der König von Syrien hatte sie umgebracht und hatte sie gemacht wie Staub beim Dreschen.
  3. Was aber mehr von Joahas zu sagen ist und "alles," was er getan "hat," und seine "Macht," "siehe," das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Israels.
  4. Und Joahas entschlief mit seinen "Vätern," und man begrub ihn zu Samaria. Und sein Sohn Joas ward König an seiner Statt.
  5. Im siebenunddreißigsten Jahr des "Joas," des Königs in "Juda," ward "Joas," der Sohn "Joahas," König über Israel zu Samaria sechzehn Jahre;
  1. But they did not turn away from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, which he had caused Israel to commit; they continued in them. Also, the Asherah pole remained standing in Samaria.
  2. Nothing had been left of the army of Jehoahaz except fifty horsemen, ten chariots and ten thousand foot soldiers, for the king of Aram had destroyed the rest and made them like the dust at threshing time.
  3. As for the other events of the reign of Jehoahaz, all he did and his achievements, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?
  4. Jehoahaz rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria. And Jehoash his son succeeded him as king.
  5. In the thirty-seventh year of Joash king of Judah, Jehoash son of Jehoahaz became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned sixteen years.
  1. 여호와 보시기에 惡(악)을 行(행)하여 이스라엘로 犯罪(범죄)케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 모든 罪(죄)에서 떠나지 아니하고 좇아 行(행)하였더라
  2. 요아스의 남은 事蹟(사적)과 무릇 行(행)한 일과 유다 王(왕) 아마샤와 싸운 權力(권력)은 이스라엘 王(왕) 歷代(력대) 志略(지략)에 記錄(기록)되지 아니하였느냐
  3. 요아스가 그 列祖(열조)와 함께 자매 이스라엘 王(왕)들과 함께 사마리아에 葬事(장사)되고 여로보암이 그 位(위)에 앉으니라
  4. 엘리사가 죽을 病(병)이 들매 이스라엘 王(왕) 요아스가 저에게로 내려가서 그 얼굴에 눈물을 흘리며 가로되 내 아버지여 내 아버지여 이스라엘의 兵車(병거)와 馬兵(마병)이여 하매
  5. 엘리사가 저에게 이르되 활과 살들을 取(취)하소서 활과 살들을 取(취)하매

  1. und er "tat," was dem HERRN übel "gefiel," und ließ nicht von allen Sünden "Jerobeams," des Sohnes "Nebats," der Israel sündigen "machte," sondern wandelte darin.
  2. Was aber mehr von Joas zu sagen ist und was er getan hat und seine "Macht," wie er mit "Amazja," dem König "Juda's," gestritten "hat," "siehe," das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Israels.
  3. Und Joas entschlief mit seinen "Vätern," und Jerobeam saß auf seinem Stuhl. Joas aber ward begraben zu Samaria bei den Königen Israels.
  4. Elisa aber war "krank," daran er auch starb. Und "Joas," der König "Israels," kam zu ihm hinab und weinte vor ihm und sprach: Mein "Vater," mein Vater! Wagen Israels und seine Reiter!

  1. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD and did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit; he continued in them.
  2. As for the other events of the reign of Jehoash, all he did and his achievements, including his war against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?
  3. Jehoash rested with his fathers, and Jeroboam succeeded him on the throne. Jehoash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.
  4. Now Elisha was suffering from the illness from which he died. Jehoash king of Israel went down to see him and wept over him. "My father! My father!" he cried. "The chariots and horsemen of Israel!"
  5. Elisha said, "Get a bow and some arrows," and he did so.
  1. 또 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 이르되 王(왕)의 손으로 활을 잡으소서 곧 손으로 잡으매 엘리사가 自己(자기) 손으로 王(왕)의 손을 按察(안찰)하고
  2. 가로되 東便(동편) 窓(창)을 여소서 곧 열매 엘리사가 가로되 쏘소서 곧 쏘매 엘리사가 가로되 이는 여호와의 救援(구원)의 살 곧 아람에 對(대)한 救援(구원)의 살이니 王(왕)이 아람 사람을 殄滅(진멸)하도록 아벡에서 치리이다
  3. 또 가로되 살들을 取(취)하소서 곧 取(취)하매 엘리사가 또 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 이르되 땅을 치소서 이에 세番(번) 치고 그친지라
  4. 하나님의 사람이 怒(노)하여 가로되 王(왕)이 五(오),六番(륙번)을 칠 것이니이다 그리하였더면 王(왕)이 아람을 殄滅(진멸)하도록 쳤으리이다 그런즉 이제는 王(왕)이 아람을 세番(번)만 치리이다 하니라
  5. 엘리사가 죽으매 葬事(장사)하였더니 해가 바뀌매 모압 賊黨(적당)이 地境(지경)을 犯(범)한지라

  1. sprach er zum König Israels: Spanne mit deiner Hand den Bogen! Und er spannte mit seiner Hand. Und Elisa legte seine Hand auf des Königs Hand
  2. und sprach: Tu das Fenster auf gegen Morgen! Und er tat's auf. Und Elisa sprach: Schieß! Und er schoß. Er aber sprach: Ein Pfeil des Heils vom "HERRN," ein Pfeil des Heils wider die Syrer; und du wirst die Syrer schlagen zu "Aphek," bis sie aufgerieben sind.
  3. Und er sprach: Nimm die Pfeile! Und da er sie "nahm," sprach er zum König Israels: Schlage die Erde! Und er schlug dreimal und stand still.
  4. Da ward der Mann Gottes zornig auf ihn und sprach: Hättest du fünf-oder sechsmal "geschlagen," so würdest du die Syrer geschlagen "haben," bis sie aufgerieben wären; nun aber wirst du sie dreimal schlagen.
  5. Da aber Elisa gestorben war und man ihn begraben "hatte," fielen die Kriegsleute der Moabiter ins Land desselben Jahres.
  1. "Take the bow in your hands," he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king's hands.
  2. "Open the east window," he said, and he opened it. "Shoot!" Elisha said, and he shot. "The LORD'S arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!" Elisha declared. "You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek."
  3. Then he said, "Take the arrows," and the king took them. Elisha told him, "Strike the ground." He struck it three times and stopped.
  4. The man of God was angry with him and said, "You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times."
  5. Elisha died and was buried. Now Moabite raiders used to enter the country every spring.
  1. 마침 사람을 葬事(장사)하는 者(자)들이 그 賊黨(적당)을 보고 그 屍體(시체)를 엘리사의 墓室(묘실)에 들이던지매 屍體(시체)가 엘리사의 뼈에 닿자 곧 回生(회생)하여 일어섰더라
  2. 여호아하스 王(왕)의 時代(시대)에 아람 王(왕) 하사엘이 恒常(항상) 이스라엘을 虐待(학대)하였으나
  3. 여호와께서 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱으로 더불어 세우신 言約(언약)을 因(인)하여 이스라엘에게 恩惠(은혜)를 베풀어 矜恤(긍휼)히 여기시며 眷顧(권고)하사 滅(멸)하기를 즐겨 아니하시고 이때까지 自己(자기) 앞에서 쫓아내지 아니하셨더라
  4. 아람 王(왕) 하사엘이 죽고 그 아들 벤하닷이 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되매
  5. 여호아하스의 아들 요아스가 하사엘의 아들 벤하닷의 손에서 두어 城邑(성읍)을 恢復(회복)하였으니 이 城邑(성읍)들은 自己(자기) 父親(부친) 여호아하스가 戰爭(전쟁) 中(중)에 빼앗겼던 것이라 요아스가 벤하닷을 세番(번) 쳐서 破(파)하고 이스라엘 城邑(성읍)들을 恢復(회복)하였더라

  1. Und es begab "sich," daß man einen Mann begrub; da sie aber die Kriegsleute "sahen," warfen sie den Mann in Elisas Grab. Und da er hinabkam und die Gebeine Elisas "berührte," ward er lebendig und trat auf seine Füße.
  2. Also zwang nun "Hasael," der König von "Syrien," "Israel," solange Joahas lebte.
  3. Aber der HERR tat ihnen Gnade und erbarmte sich ihrer und wandte sich zu ihnen um seines Bundes willen mit "Abraham," Isaak und Jakob und wollte sie nicht "verderben," verwarf sie auch nicht von seinem Angesicht bis auf diese Stunde.
  4. Und "Hasael," der König von "Syrien," "starb," und sein Sohn Benhadad ward König an seiner Statt.
  5. Joas aber nahm wieder die Städte aus der Hand "Benhadads," des Sohnes "Hasaels," die er aus der Hand seines Vaters Joahas genommen hatte im Streit. Dreimal schlug ihn Joas und brachte die Städte Israels wieder. {~} {~}
  1. Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man's body into Elisha's tomb. When the body touched Elisha's bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.
  2. Hazael king of Aram oppressed Israel throughout the reign of Jehoahaz.
  3. But the LORD was gracious to them and had compassion and showed concern for them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To this day he has been unwilling to destroy them or banish them from his presence.
  4. Hazael king of Aram died, and Ben-Hadad his son succeeded him as king.
  5. Then Jehoash son of Jehoahaz recaptured from Ben-Hadad son of Hazael the towns he had taken in battle from his father Jehoahaz. Three times Jehoash defeated him, and so he recovered the Israelite towns.
