1. ^ㅜ先知者(선지자)의 生徒(생도)가 엘리사에게 이르되 보소서 우리가 當身(당신)과 함께 居(거)한 곳이 우리에게는 좁으니
   
2. 우리가 요단으로 가서 거기서 各各(각각) 한 材木(재목)을 取(취)하여 그곳에 우리의 居(거)할 處所(처소)를 세우사이다 엘리사가 가로되 가라
   
3. 그 하나가 가로되 請(청)컨대 當身(당신)도 종들과 함께 하소서 엘리사가 가로되 내가 가리라 하고
   
4. 드디어 저희와 함께 가니라 무리가 요단에 이르러 나무를 베더니
   
5. 한 사람이 나무를 벨 때에 도끼가 자루에서 빠져 물에 떨어진지라 이에 외쳐 가로되 아아, 내 主(주)여 이는 빌어온 것이니이다
   

1. Die Kinder der Propheten sprachen zu Elisa: "Siehe," der "Raum," da wir vor dir "wohnen," ist uns zu enge.
   
2. Laß uns an den Jordan gehen und einen jeglichen daselbst Holz "holen," daß wir uns daselbst eine Stätte "bauen," da wir wohnen. Er sprach: Gehet hin!
   
3. Und einer sprach: Gehe lieber mit deinen Knechten! Er sprach: Ich will mitgehen.
   
4. Und er kam mit ihnen. Und da sie an den Jordan kamen hieben sie Holz ab.
   
5. Und da einer sein Holz "fällte," fiel das Eisen ins Wasser. Und er schrie und sprach: O "weh," mein Herr! dazu ist's entlehnt.
   

1. The company of the prophets said to Elisha, "Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us.
   
2. Let us go to the Jordan, where each of us can get a pole; and let us build a place there for us to live." And he said, "Go."
   
3. Then one of them said, "Won't you please come with your servants?" "I will," Elisha replied.
   
4. And he went with them. They went to the Jordan and began to cut down trees.
   
5. As one of them was cutting down a tree, the iron axhead fell into the water. "Oh, my lord," he cried out, "it was borrowed!"
   

6. 하나님의 사람이 가로되 어디 빠졌느냐 하매 그곳을 보이는지라 ^ㅠ엘리사가 나무가지를 베어 물에 던져서 도끼로 떠오르게 하고
   
7. 가로되 너는 取(취)하라 그 사람이 손을 내밀어 取(취)하니라
   
8. 때에 아람 王(왕)이 이스라엘로 더불어 싸우며 그 信服(신복)들과 議論(의논)하여 이르기를 우리가 아무데 아무데 陣(진)을 치리라 하였더니
   
9. 하나님의 사람이 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 奇別(기별)하여 가로되 王(왕)은 삼가 아무 곳으로 지나가지 마소서 아람 사람이 그곳으로 나오나이다
   
10. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 하나님의 사람의 自己(자기)에게 告(고)하여 警戒(경계)한 곳으로 사람을 보내어 防備(방비)하기가 한 두番(번)이 아닌지라
    

6. Aber der Mann Gottes sprach: Wo ist's entfallen? Und da er ihm den Ort "zeigte," schnitt er ein Holz ab und stieß es dahin. Da schwamm das Eisen.
   
7. Und er sprach: Heb's auf! da reckte er seine Hand aus und nahm's.
   
8. Und der König von Syrien führte einen Krieg wider Israel und beratschlagte sich mit seinen Knechten und sprach: Wir wollen uns lagern da und da.
   
9. Aber der Mann Gottes sandte zum König Israels und ließ ihm sagen: Hüte "dich," daß du nicht an dem Ort vorüberziehst; denn die Syrer ruhen daselbst.
   
10. So sandte denn der König Israels hin an den "Ort," den ihm der Mann Gottes gesagt und vor dem er ihn gewarnt "hatte," und war daselbst auf der Hut; und tat das nicht einmal oder zweimal allein.
    

6. The man of God asked, "Where did it fall?" When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float.
   
7. "Lift it out," he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it.
   
8. Now the king of Aram was at war with Israel. After conferring with his officers, he said, "I will set up my camp in such and such a place."
   
9. The man of God sent word to the king of Israel: "Beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there."
   
10. So the king of Israel checked on the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he was on his guard in such places.
    

11. 이러므로 아람 王(왕)의 마음이 煩惱(번뇌)하여 그 信服(신복)들을 불러 이르되 우리 中(중)에 누가 이스라엘 王(왕)의 內應(내응)이 된 것을 내게 告(고)하지 아니하느냐
    
12. 그 信服(신복) 中(중)에 하나가 가로되 우리 主(주) 王(왕)이여 아니로소이다 오직 이스라엘 先知者(선지자) 엘리사가 王(왕)이 寢室(침실)에서 하신 말씀이라도 이스라엘 王(왕)에게 告(고)하나이다
    
13. 王(왕)이 가로되 너희는 가서 엘리사가 어디 있나 보라 내가 보내어 잡으리라 或(혹)이 王(왕)에게 告(고)하여 가로되 엘리사가 ^으도단에 있나이다
    
14. 王(왕)이 이에 말과 兵車(병거)와 많은 軍士(군사)를 보내매 저희가 밤에 가서 그 城(성)을 에워쌌더라
    
15. 하나님의 사람의 ^이隧從(수종)드는 者(자)가 일찌기 일어나서 나가보니 軍士(군사)와 말과 兵車(병거)가 城(성)을 에워쌌는지라 그 使喚(사환)이 엘리사에게 告(고)하되 아아 내 主(주)여 우리가 어찌하리이까
    

11. Da ward das Herz des Königs von Syrien voll Unmuts "darüber," und er rief seine Knechte und sprach zu ihnen: Wollt ihr mir denn nicht ansagen: Wer von den Unsern hält es mit dem König Israels?
    
12. Da sprach seiner Knechte einer: Nicht "also," mein Herr König; sondern "Elisa," der Prophet in "Israel," sagt alles dem König "Israels," was du in der Kammer "redest," da dein Lager ist.
    
13. Er sprach: So gehet hin und "sehet," wo er "ist," daß ich hinsende und lasse ihn holen. Und sie zeigten ihm an und sprachen: "Siehe," er ist zu Dothan.
    
14. Da sandte er hin Rosse und Wagen und eine große Macht. Und da sie bei der Nacht "hinkamen," umgaben sie die Stadt.
    
15. Und der Diener des Mannes Gottes stand früh "auf," daß er sich aufmachte und auszöge; und "siehe," da lag eine Macht um die Stadt mit Rossen und Wagen. Da sprach sein Diener zu ihm: O "weh," mein Herr! wie wollen wir nun tun?
    

11. This enraged the king of Aram. He summoned his officers and demanded of them, "Will you not tell me which of us is on the side of the king of Israel?"
    
12. "None of us, my lord the king," said one of his officers, "but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom."
    
13. "Go, find out where he is," the king ordered, "so I can send men and capture him." The report came back: "He is in Dothan."
    
14. Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there. They went by night and surrounded the city.
    
15. When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh, my lord, what shall we do?" the servant asked.
    

16. 對答(대답)하되 두려워하지 말라 ^ㅐ우리와 함께한 者(자)가 저와 함께한 者(자)보다 많으니라 하고
    
17. 祈禱(기도)하여 가로되 여호와여, 願(원)컨대 ^ㄱ저의 눈을 열어서 보게 하옵소서 하니 여호와께서 그 使喚(사환)의 눈을 여시매 저가 보니 ^ㄴ불말과 불兵車(병거)가 山(산)에 가득하여 엘리사를 둘렀더라
    
18. 아람 사람이 엘리사에게 내려오매 엘리사가 여호와께 祈禱(기도)하여 가로되 願(원)컨대 저 무리의 눈을 어둡게 하옵소서 하매 ^ㄷ엘리사의 말대로 그 눈을 어둡게 하신지라
    
19. 엘리사가 저희에게 이르되 이는 그 길이 아니요 이는 그 城(성)도 아니니 나를 따라 오라 내가 너희를 引導(인도)하여 너희의 찾는 사람에게로 나아가리라 하고 저희를 引導(인도)하여 사마리아에 이르니라
    
20. 사마리아에 들어갈 때에 엘리사가 가로되 여호와여, 이 무리의 눈을 열어서 보게 하옵소서 하니 여호와께서 저희의 눈을 여시매 저희가 보니 自己(자기)가 사마리아 가운데 있더라
    

16. Er sprach: Fürchte dich nicht! denn derer ist "mehr," die bei uns "sind," als "derer," die bei ihnen sind.
    
17. Und Elisa betete und sprach: "HERR," öffne ihm die "Augen," daß er sehe! Da öffnete der HERR dem Diener die "Augen," daß er sah; und "siehe," da war der Berg voll feuriger Rosse und Wagen um Elisa her.
    
18. Und da sie zu ihm "hinabkamen," bat Elisa und sprach: "HERR," schlage dies Volk mit Blindheit! Und er schlug sie mit Blindheit nach dem Wort Elisas.
    
19. Und Elisa sprach zu Ihnen: Dies ist nicht der Weg noch die Stadt. Folget mir nach! ich will euch führen zu dem "Mann," den ihr sucht. Und er führte sie gen Samaria. {~}
    
20. Und da sie gen Samaria "kamen," sprach Elisa: "HERR," öffne diesen die "Augen," daß sie sehen! Und der HERR öffnete ihnen die "Augen," daß sie sahen; und "siehe," da waren sie mitten in Samaria.
    

16. "Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them."
    
17. And Elisha prayed, "O LORD, open his eyes so he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
    
18. As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, "Strike these people with blindness." So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.
    
19. Elisha told them, "This is not the road and this is not the city. Follow me, and I will lead you to the man you are looking for." And he led them to Samaria.
    
20. After they entered the city, Elisha said, "LORD, open the eyes of these men so they can see." Then the LORD opened their eyes and they looked, and there they were, inside Samaria.
    

21. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 저희를 보고 엘리사에게 이르되 ^ㄹ내 아버지여, 내가 치리이까 내가 치리이까
    
22. 對答(대답)하되 치지 마소서 ^ㅁ칼과 활로 사로잡은 者(자)인들 어찌 치리이까 ^ㅂ떡과 물을 그 앞에 두어 먹고 마시게 하고 그 主人(주인)에게로 돌려 보내소서
    
23. 王(왕)이 爲(위)하여 植物(식물)을 많이 베풀고 저희가 먹고 마시매 놓아보내니 저희가 그 主人(주인)에게로 돌아가니라 이로부터 ^ㅅ아람 軍士(군사)의 部隊(부대)가 다시는 이스라엘 땅에 들어오지 못하니라
    
24. 이 後(후)에 아람 王(왕) ^ㅇ벤하닷이 그 온 軍隊(군대)를 모아 올라와서 사마리아를 에워싸니
    
25. 아람 사람이 사마리아를 에워싸므로 城中(성중)이 크게 주려서 나귀 머리 하나에 銀(은) 八十(팔십) 세겔이요 합분태 四分(사분) 一(일) 갑에 銀(은) 다섯 세겔이라
    

21. Und der König "Israels," da er sie "sah," sprach er zu Elisa: Mein "Vater," soll ich sie schlagen? {~}
    
22. Er sprach: Du sollst sie nicht schlagen. Schlägst du denn "die," welche du mit deinem Schwert und Bogen gefangen hast? Setze ihnen Brot und Wasser "vor," daß sie essen und "trinken," und laß sie zu ihrem Herrn ziehen!
    
23. Da ward ein großes Mahl zugerichtet. Und da sie gegessen und getrunken "hatten," ließ er sie "gehen," daß sie zu ihrem Herrn zogen. Seit dem kamen streifende Rotten der Syrer nicht mehr ins Land Israel.
    
24. Nach diesem begab "sich's," daß "Benhadad," der König von Syrien all sein Heer versammelte und zog herauf und belagerte Samaria.
    
25. Und es ward eine große Teuerung zu Samaria. Sie aber belagerten die "Stadt," bis daß ein Eselskopf achtzig Silberlinge und ein viertel Kab Taubenmist fünf Silberlinge galt.
    

21. When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha, "Shall I kill them, my father? Shall I kill them?"
    
22. "Do not kill them," he answered. "Would you kill men you have captured with your own sword or bow? Set food and water before them so that they may eat and drink and then go back to their master."
    
23. So he prepared a great feast for them, and after they had finished eating and drinking, he sent them away, and they returned to their master. So the bands from Aram stopped raiding Israel's territory.
    
24. Some time later, Ben-Hadad king of Aram mobilized his entire army and marched up and laid siege to Samaria.
    
25. There was a great famine in the city; the siege lasted so long that a donkey's head sold for eighty shekels of silver, and a quarter of a cab of seed pods for five shekels.
    

26. 이스라엘 王(왕)이 城(성) 위로 通過(통과)할 때에 한 女人(녀인)이 외쳐 가로되 나의 主(주) 王(왕)이여 도우소서
    
27. 王(왕)이 가로되 여호와께서 너를 돕지 아니하시면 내가 무엇으로 너를 도우랴 打作(타작) 마당으로 말미암아 하겠느냐 葡萄酒(포도주) 틀로 말미암아 하겠느냐
    
28. 또 가로되 무슨 일이냐 女人(녀인)이 對答(대답)하되 이 女人(녀인)이 내게 이르기를 네 아들을 내라 우리가 오늘날 먹고 來日(래일)은 내 아들을 먹자 하매
    
29. ^ㅈ우리가 드디어 내 아들을 삶아 먹었더니 이튿날에 내가 이르되 네 아들을 내라 우리가 먹으리라 하나 저가 그 아들을 숨겼나이다
    
30. 王(왕)이 그 女人(녀인)의 말을 듣고 ^ㅊ自己(자기) 옷을 찢으니라 저가 城(성) 위로 지나갈 때에 百姓(백성)이 본즉 그 속살에 굵은 베를 입었더라
    

26. Und da der König Israels an der Mauer "einherging," schrie ihn ein Weib an und sprach: Hilf "mir," Mein König!
    
27. Er sprach: Hilft dir der HERR "nicht," woher soll ich dir helfen? von der Tenne oder der Kelter?
    
28. Und der König sprach zu Ihr: Was ist dir? Sie sprach: Dies Weib sprach zu mir: Gib deinen Sohn "her," daß wir heute essen; morgen wollen wir meinen Sohn essen.
    
29. So haben wir meinen Sohn gekocht und gegessen. Und ich sprach zu ihr am andern Tage: Gib deinen Sohn her und laß uns essen! Aber sie hat ihren Sohn versteckt.
    
30. Da der König die Worte des Weibes "hörte," zerriß er seine "Kleider," indem er auf der Mauer ging. Da sah alles "Volk," daß er darunter einen Sack am Leibe anhatte.
    

26. As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, "Help me, my lord the king!"
    
27. The king replied, "If the LORD does not help you, where can I get help for you? From the threshing floor? From the winepress?"
    
28. Then he asked her, "What's the matter?" She answered, "This woman said to me, 'Give up your son so we may eat him today, and tomorrow we'll eat my son.'
    
29. So we cooked my son and ate him. The next day I said to her, 'Give up your son so we may eat him,' but she had hidden him."
    
30. When the king heard the woman's words, he tore his robes. As he went along the wall, the people looked, and there, underneath, he had sackcloth on his body.
    

31. 王(왕)이 가로되 사밧의 아들 엘리사의 머리가 오늘날 그 몸에 붙어 있으면 ^ㅋ하나님이 내게 罰(벌) 위에 罰(벌)을 내리실지로다 하니라
    
32. 그때에 엘리사가 그 집에 앉았고 ^ㅌ長老(장로)들이 저와 함께 앉았는데 王(왕)이 自己(자기) 處所(처소)에서 사람을 보내었더니 그 使者(사자)가 이르기 前(전)에 엘리사가 長老(장로)들에게 이르되 너희는 이 ^ㅍ殺人(살인)한 者(자)의 子息(자식)이 내 머리를 取(취)하려고 사람을 보내는 것을 보느냐 너희는 보다가 使者(사자)가 오거든 門(문)을 닫고 門(문)안에 들이지말라 그 主人(주인)의 발소리가 그 뒤에서 나지아니하느냐 하고
    
33. 무리와 말씀할 때에 그 使者(사자)가 이르니라 王(왕)이 가로되 이 災殃(재앙)이 여호와께로부터 나왔으니 ^ㅎ어찌 더 여호와를 기다리리요
    

31. Und er sprach: Gott tue mir dies und "das," wo das Haupt "Elisas," des Sohnes "Saphats," heute auf ihm stehen wird!
    
32. Elisa aber saß in seinem "Hause," und alle Ältesten saßen bei ihm. Und der König sandte einen Mann vor sich her. Aber ehe der Bote zu ihm "kam," sprach er zu den Ältesten: Habt ihr "gesehen," wie dies Mordkind hat "hergesandt," daß er mein Haupt abreiße? Sehet "zu," wenn der Bote "kommt," daß ihr die Tür zuschließt und stoßt ihn mit der Tür weg! "Siehe," das Rauschen der Füße seines Herrn folgt ihm nach.
    
33. Da er noch also mit ihnen "redete," "siehe," da kam der Bote zu ihm hinab; und er sprach: "Siehe," solches Übel kommt von dem HERRN! was soll ich mehr von dem HERRN erwarten?
    

31. He said, "May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if the head of Elisha son of Shaphat remains on his shoulders today!"
    
32. Now Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him. The king sent a messenger ahead, but before he arrived, Elisha said to the elders, "Don't you see how this murderer is sending someone to cut off my head? Look, when the messenger comes, shut the door and hold it shut against him. Is not the sound of his master's footsteps behind him?"
    
33. While he was still talking to them, the messenger came down to him. And the king said, "This disaster is from the LORD. Why should I wait for the LORD any longer?"
