1. ^ㅋ아하시야의 母親(모친) ^ㅌ아달랴가 그 아들의 죽은 것을 보고 일어나 王(왕)의 씨를 殄滅(진멸)하였으나
   
2. 요람 王(왕)의 딸 아하시야의 누이 여호세바가 아하시야의 아들 ^ㅍ요아스를 王子(왕자)들의 죽임을 當(당)하는 中(중)에서 盜賊(도적)하여 내고 저와 그 乳母(유모)를 寢室(침실)에 숨겨 아달랴를 避(피)하여 죽임을 當(당)치 않게 한지라
   
3. 요아스가 저와 함께 여호와의 殿(전)에 六年(육년)을 숨어 있는 동안에 아달랴가 나라를 다스렸더라
   
4. ^ㅎ第(제) 七年(칠년)에 ^ㅏ여호야다가 보내어 가리 사람의 百夫長(백부장)들과 ^ㅑ護衛兵(호위병)의 百夫長(백부장)들을 불러 데리고 여호와의 殿(전)으로 들어가서 저희와 言約(언약)을 세우고 저희로 여호와의 殿(전)에서 盟誓(맹서)케 한 後(후)에 王子(왕자)를 보이고
   
5. 命(명)하여 가로되 너희의 行(행)할 것이 이러하니 ^ㅓ安息日(안식일)에 入番(입번)한 너희 中(중) 三分(삼분) 一(일)은 王宮(왕궁)을 注意(주의)하여 지키고
   

1. Athalja "aber," Ahasjas "Mutter," da sie "sah," daß ihr Sohn tot "war," machte sie sich auf und brachte um alle aus dem königlichen Geschlecht.
   
2. Aber "Joseba," die Tochter des Königs "Joram," Ahasjas "Schwester," nahm "Joas," den Sohn "Ahasjas," und stahl ihn aus des Königs "Kinder," die getötet "wurden," und tat ihn mit seiner Amme in die Bettkammer; und sie verbargen ihn vor "Athalja," daß er nicht getötet ward.
   
3. Und er war mit ihr versteckt im Hause des HERRN sechs Jahre. Athalja aber war Königin im Lande.
   
4. Im siebenten Jahr aber sandte hin Jojada und nahm die Obersten über hundert von den Leibwächtern und den Trabanten und ließ sie zu sich ins Haus des HERRN kommen und machte einen Bund mit ihnen und nahm einen Eid von ihnen im Hause des HERRN und zeigte ihnen des Königs Sohn
   
5. und gebot ihnen und sprach: Das "ist's," was ihr tun sollt: Ein dritter Teil von "euch," die ihr des Sabbats "antretet," soll der Hut warten im Hause des "Königs,"
   

1. When Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she proceeded to destroy the whole royal family.
   
2. But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram and sister of Ahaziah, took Joash son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the royal princes, who were about to be murdered. She put him and his nurse in a bedroom to hide him from Athaliah; so he was not killed.
   
3. He remained hidden with his nurse at the temple of the LORD for six years while Athaliah ruled the land.
   
4. In the seventh year Jehoiada sent for the commanders of units of a hundred, the Carites and the guards and had them brought to him at the temple of the LORD. He made a covenant with them and put them under oath at the temple of the LORD. Then he showed them the king's son.
   
5. He commanded them, saying, "This is what you are to do: You who are in the three companies that are going on duty on the Sabbath--a third of you guarding the royal palace,
   

6. ^ㅕ三分(삼분) 一(일)은 수르門(문)에 있고 三分(삼분) 一(일)은 護衛隊(호위대) 뒤에 있는 門(문)에 있어서 이와 같이 王宮(왕궁)을 注意(주의)하여 지켜 防禦(방어)하고
   
7. 安息日(안식일)에 出番(출번)하는 너희 中(중) 두 隊(대)는 여호와의 殿(전)을 注意(주의)하여 지켜 王(왕)을 護衛(호위)하되
   
8. 너희는 各各(각각) 손에 兵器(병기)를 잡고 王(왕)을 護衛(호위)하며 무릇 너희 班列(반열)을 侵犯(침범)하는 者(자)는 죽이고 ^ㅗ王(왕)의 出入(출입)할 때에 侍衛(시위)할지니라
   
9. 百夫長(백부장)들이 이에 祭司長(제사장) 여호야다의 모든 命(명)대로 行(행)하여 各其(각기) 管轄(관할)하는 바 安息日(안식일)에 入番(입번)할 者(자)와 出番(출번)할 者(자)를 거느리고 祭司長(제사장) 여호야다에게 나아오매
   
10. 祭司長(제사장)이 여호와의 殿(전)에 있는 다윗 王(왕)의 槍(창)과 ^ㅛ防牌(방패)를 百夫長(백부장)들에게 주니
    

6. und ein dritter Teil soll sein am Tor "Sur," und ein dritter Teil am Tor das hinter den Trabanten "ist," und soll der Hut warten am Hause Massah.
   
7. Aber die zwei Teile euer "aller," die des Sabbats "abtreten," sollen der Hut warten im Hause des HERRN um den "König,"
   
8. und sollt rings um den König euch "machen," ein jeglicher mit seiner Wehre in der "Hand," und wer herein zwischen die Reihen "kommt," der "sterbe," und sollt bei dem König "sein," wenn er aus und ein geht.
   
9. Und die Obersten taten "alles," was ihnen "Jojada," der "Priester," gesagt "hatte," und nahmen zu sich ihre "Männer," die des Sabbats "abtraten," und kamen zu dem Priester Jojada. {~} {~} {~}
   
10. Und der Priester gab den Hauptleuten Spieße und "Schilde," die dem König David gehört hatten und in dem Hause des HERRN waren.
    

6. a third at the Sur Gate, and a third at the gate behind the guard, who take turns guarding the temple--
   
7. and you who are in the other two companies that normally go off Sabbath duty are all to guard the temple for the king.
   
8. Station yourselves around the king, each man with his weapon in his hand. Anyone who approaches your ranks must be put to death. Stay close to the king wherever he goes."
   
9. The commanders of units of a hundred did just as Jehoiada the priest ordered. Each one took his men--those who were going on duty on the Sabbath and those who were going off duty--and came to Jehoiada the priest.
   
10. Then he gave the commanders the spears and shields that had belonged to King David and that were in the temple of the LORD.
    

11. 護衛兵(호위병)이 各各(각각) 손에 兵器(병기)를 잡고 王(왕)을 護衛(호위)하되 殿(전) 右便(우편)에서부터 殿(전) 左便(좌편)까지 壇(단)과 殿(전) 곁에 서고
    
12. 여호야다가 王子(왕자)를 引導(인도)하여 내어 ^ㅜ冕旒冠(면류관)을 씌우며 ^ㅠ律法(률법) 冊(책)을 주고 기름을 부어 王(왕)을 삼으매 무리가 拍手(박수)하며 ^으王(왕)의 萬歲(만세)를 부르니라
    
13. 아달랴가 護衛兵(호위병)과 百姓(백성)의 소리를 듣고 여호와의 殿(전)에 들어가서 百姓(백성)에게 이르러
    
14. 보매 王(왕)이 規例(규례)대로 ^이臺(대) 위에 섰고 長官(장관)들과 나팔수가 王(왕)의 곁에 모셨으며 온 國民(국민)이 즐거워하여 ^ㅐ나팔을 부는지라 아달랴가 ^ㄱ옷을 찢으며 외치되 叛逆(반역)이로다 叛逆(반역)이로다 하매
    
15. 祭司長(제사장) 여호야다가 軍隊(군대)를 거느린 百夫長(백부장)들에게 命(명)하여 가로되 班列(반열) 밖으로 몰아내라 무릇 저를 따르는 者(자)는 칼로 죽이라 하니 祭司長(제사장)의 이 말은 여호와의 殿(전)에서는 저를 죽이지 말라 함이라
    

11. Und die Trabanten standen um den König "her," ein jeglicher mit seiner Wehre in der "Hand," von dem Winkel des Hauses zur Rechten bis zum Winkel zur "Linken," zum Altar zu und zum Hause. {~}
    
12. Und er ließ des Königs Sohn hervorkommen und setzte ihm eine Krone auf und gab ihm das "Zeugnis," und sie machten ihn zum König und salbten ihn und schlugen die Hände zusammen und sprachen: Glück zu dem König!
    
13. Und da Athalja hörte das Geschrei des "Volkes," das "zulief," kam sie zum Volk in das Haus des HERRN
    
14. und sah. "Siehe," da stand der König an der "Säule," wie es Gewohnheit "war," und die Obersten und die Drommeter bei dem König; und alles Volk des Landes war "fröhlich," und man blies mit Drommeten. Athalja aber zerriß ihre Kleider und rief: "Aufruhr," Aufruhr!
    
15. Aber der Priester Jojada gebot den Obersten über "hundert," die über das Heer gesetzt "waren," und sprach zu ihnen: Führet sie zwischen den Reihen hinaus; und wer ihr "folgt," der sterbe des Schwerts! Denn der Priester hatte "gesagt," sie sollte nicht im Hause des HERRN sterben.
    

11. The guards, each with his weapon in his hand, stationed themselves around the king--near the altar and the temple, from the south side to the north side of the temple.
    
12. Jehoiada brought out the king's son and put the crown on him; he presented him with a copy of the covenant and proclaimed him king. They anointed him, and the people clapped their hands and shouted, "Long live the king!"
    
13. When Athaliah heard the noise made by the guards and the people, she went to the people at the temple of the LORD.
    
14. She looked and there was the king, standing by the pillar, as the custom was. The officers and the trumpeters were beside the king, and all the people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets. Then Athaliah tore her robes and called out, "Treason! Treason!"
    
15. Jehoiada the priest ordered the commanders of units of a hundred, who were in charge of the troops: "Bring her out between the ranks and put to the sword anyone who follows her." For the priest had said, "She must not be put to death in the temple of the LORD."
    

16. 이에 저의 길을 열어주매 저가 王宮(왕궁) 말 다니는 길로 通過(통과)하다가 거기서 죽임을 當(당)하였더라
    
17. 여호야다가 王(왕)과 百姓(백성)으로 여호와와 ^ㄴ言約(언약)을 세워 여호와의 百姓(백성)이 되게 하고 ^ㄷ王(왕)과 百姓(백성) 사이에도 言約(언약)을 세우게 하매
    
18. 온 國民(국민)이 ^ㄹ바알의 堂(당)으로 가서 그 堂(당)을 毁破(훼파)하고 ^ㅁ그 壇(단)들과 偶像(우상)들을 깨뜨리고 그 壇(단) 앞에서 바알의 祭司長(제사장) 맛단을 죽이니라 祭司長(제사장)이 官吏(관리)들을 세워 여호와의 殿(전)을 守直(수직)하게 하고
    
19. 또 百夫長(백부장)들과 가리 사람과 ^ㅂ護衛兵(호위병)과 온 國民(국민)을 거느리고 王(왕)을 引導(인도)하여 여호와의 殿(전)에서 내려와서 ^ㅅ護衛兵(호위병)의 門(문) 길로 말미암아 王宮(왕궁)에 이르매 저가 王(왕)의 寶座(보좌)에 앉으니
    
20. 온 國民(국민)이 즐거워하고 城中(성중)이 平穩(평온)하더라 아달랴를 무리가 王宮(왕궁)에서 칼로 죽였었더라
    

16. Und sie machten ihr Raum zu beiden Seiten; und sie ging hinein des "Weges," da die Rosse zum Hause des Königs "gehen," und ward daselbst getötet.
    
17. Da machte Jojada einen Bund zwischen dem HERRN und dem König und dem "Volk," daß sie des HERRN Volk sein sollten; also auch zwischen dem König und dem Volk.
    
18. Da ging alles Volk des Landes in das Haus Baals und brachen ihre Altäre ab und zerbrachen seine Bildnisse "gründlich," und "Matthan," den Priester "Baals," erwürgten sie vor den Altären. Der Priester aber bestellte die Ämter im Hause des HERRN
    
19. und nahm die Obersten über hundert und die Leibwächter und die Trabanten und alles Volk des "Landes," und sie führten den König hinab vom Hause des HERRN und kamen durchs Tor der Trabanten zum Königshause; und er setzte sich auf der Könige Stuhl.
    
20. Und alles Volk im Lande war "fröhlich," und die Stadt war still. Athalja aber töteten sie mit dem Schwert in des Königs Hause.
    

16. So they seized her as she reached the place where the horses enter the palace grounds, and there she was put to death.
    
17. Jehoiada then made a covenant between the LORD and the king and people that they would be the LORD'S people. He also made a covenant between the king and the people.
    
18. All the people of the land went to the temple of Baal and tore it down. They smashed the altars and idols to pieces and killed Mattan the priest of Baal in front of the altars. Then Jehoiada the priest posted guards at the temple of the LORD.
    
19. He took with him the commanders of hundreds, the Carites, the guards and all the people of the land, and together they brought the king down from the temple of the LORD and went into the palace, entering by way of the gate of the guards. The king then took his place on the royal throne,
    
20. and all the people of the land rejoiced. And the city was quiet, because Athaliah had been slain with the sword at the palace.
