1. ^ㅈ王(왕)이 보내어 유다와 예루살렘의 모든 長老(장로)를 自己(자기)에게로 모으고
   
2. 이에 여호와의 殿(전)에 올라가매 유다 모든 사람과 예루살렘 居民(거민)과 祭司長(제사장)들과 先知者(선지자)들과 모든 百姓(백성)이 無論(무론) 老少(로소)하고 다 王(왕)과 함께 한지라 王(왕)이 ^ㅊ여호와의 殿(전) 안에서 發見(발견)한 ^ㅋ言約冊(언약책)의 모든 말씀을 읽어 무리의 귀에 들리고
   
3. 王(왕)이 ^ㅌ臺(대) 위에 서서 여호와 앞에서 ^ㅍ言約(언약)을 세우되 마음을 다하고 性稟(성품)을 다하여 ^ㅎ여호와를 順從(순종)하고 그 誡命(계명)과 法度(법도)와 律例(율례)를 지켜 이 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)된 이 言約(언약)의 말씀을 이루게 하리라 하매 百姓(백성)이 다 그 言約(언약)을 좇기로 하니라
   
4. 王(왕)이 大祭司長(대제사장) 힐기야와 모든 ^ㅏ버금 祭司長(제사장)들과 門(문)을 지킨 者(자)들에게 命(명)하여 ^ㅑ바알과 ^ㅓ아세라와 하늘의 日月(일월) 星辰(성신)을 爲(위)하여 만든 모든 器皿(기명)을 여호와의 殿(전)에서 내어다가 ^ㅕ예루살렘 바깥 기드론 밭에서 불사르고 그 재를 벧엘로 가져가게 하고
   
5. 옛적에 유다 王(왕)들이 세워서 유다 모든 고을과 예루살렘 四面(사면) 山堂(산당)에서 焚香(분향)하며 偶像(우상)을 섬기게 한 祭司長(제사장)들을 廢(폐)하며 또 바알과 해와 달과 열두 宮星(궁성)과 ^ㅗ하늘의 모든 별에게 焚香(분향)하는 者(자)들을 廢(폐)하고
   

1. Und der König sandte "hin," und es versammelten sich zu ihm alle Ältesten in Juda und Jerusalem.
   
2. Und der König ging hinauf ins Haus des HERRN und alle Männer von Juda und alle Einwohner von Jerusalem mit "ihm," Priester und "Propheten," und alles "Volk," klein und groß; und man las vor ihren Ohren alle Worte aus dem Buch des "Bundes," das im Hause des HERRN gefunden war.
   
3. Und der König trat an die Säule und machte einen Bund vor dem "HERRN," daß sie sollten wandeln dem HERRN nach und halten seine "Gebote," Zeugnisse und Rechte von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer "Seele," daß sie aufrichteten die Worte dieses "Bundes," die geschrieben standen in diesem Buch. Und alles Volk trat in den Bund.
   
4. Und der König gebot dem Hohenpriester Hilkia und den nächsten Priestern nach ihm und den Hütern an der "Schwelle," daß sie sollten aus dem Tempel des HERRN tun alle "Geräte," die dem Baal und der Aschera und allem Heer des Himmels gemacht waren. Und sie verbrannten sie außen vor Jerusalem im Tal "Kidron," und ihr Staub ward getragen gen Beth-El.
   
5. Und er tat ab die "Götzenpfaffen," welche die Könige Juda's hatten "eingesetzt," zu räuchern auf den Höhen in den Städten Juda's und um Jerusalem "her," auch die Räucherer des Baal und der Sonne und des Mondes und der Planeten und alles Heeres am Himmel.
   

1. Then the king called together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.
   
2. He went up to the temple of the LORD with the men of Judah, the people of Jerusalem, the priests and the prophets--all the people from the least to the greatest. He read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant, which had been found in the temple of the LORD.
   
3. The king stood by the pillar and renewed the covenant in the presence of the LORD--to follow the LORD and keep his commands, regulations and decrees with all his heart and all his soul, thus confirming the words of the covenant written in this book. Then all the people pledged themselves to the covenant.
   
4. The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the priests next in rank and the doorkeepers to remove from the temple of the LORD all the articles made for Baal and Asherah and all the starry hosts. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron Valley and took the ashes to Bethel.
   
5. He did away with the pagan priests appointed by the kings of Judah to burn incense on the high places of the towns of Judah and on those around Jerusalem--those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and moon, to the constellations and to all the starry hosts.
   

6. 또 여호와의 殿(전)에서 아세라 像(상)을 내어 예루살렘 바깥 기드론 시내로 가져다가 거기서 불사르고 ^ㅛ빻아서 가루를 만들어 ^ㅜ그 가루를 平民(평민)의 墓地(묘지)에 뿌리고
   
7. 또 여호와의 殿(전) 가운데 ^ㅠ美童(미동)의 집을 헐었으니 ^으그곳은 女人(녀인)이 아세라를 爲(위)하여 揮帳(휘장)을 짜는 處所(처소)이었더라
   
8. 유다 各(각) 城邑(성읍)에서 모든 祭司長(제사장)을 불러오고 또 祭司長(제사장)이 焚香(분향)하던 山堂(산당)을 ^이게바에서부터 브엘세바까지 더럽게하고 또 城門(성문)의 山堂(산당)들을 헐어 버렸으니 이 山堂(산당)들은 府尹(부윤) 여호수아의 大門(대문) 어구 곧 城門(성문) 왼便(편)에 있었더라
   
9. ^ㅐ山堂(산당)의 祭司長(제사장)들은 예루살렘 여호와의 壇(단)에 올라가지 못하고 다만 그 兄弟(형제) 中(중)에서 無酵餠(무효병)을 먹을 뿐이었더라
   
10. 王(왕)이 또 ^ㄱ힌놈의 아들 골짜기의 ^ㄴ도벳을 더럽게 하여 ^ㄷ사람으로 ^ㄹ몰록에게 드리기 爲(위)하여 그 子女(자녀)를 불로 지나가게 하지 못하게 하고
    

6. Und ließ das Ascherabild aus dem Hause des HERRN führen hinaus vor Jerusalem an den Bach Kidron und verbrannte es am Bach Kidron und machte es zu Staub und man warf den Staub auf die Gräber der gemeinen Leute.
   
7. Und er brach ab die Häuser der "Hurer," die an dem Hause des HERRN "waren," darin die Weiber wirkten Häuser für die Aschera.
   
8. Und ließ kommen alle Priester aus den Städten Juda's und verunreinigte die "Höhen," da die Priester "räucherten," von Geba an bis gen "Beer-Seba," und brach ab die Höhen an den "Toren," die an der Tür des Tors "Josuas," des "Stadtvogts," waren und zur "Linken," wenn man zum Tor der Stadt geht.
   
9. Doch durften die Priester der Höhen nicht opfern auf dem Altar des HERRN zu "Jerusalem," sondern aßen ungesäuertes Brot unter ihren Brüdern.
   
10. Er verunreinigte auch das Topheth im Tal der Kinder "Hinnom," daß niemand seinen Sohn oder seine Tochter dem Moloch durchs Feuer ließ gehen.
    

6. He took the Asherah pole from the temple of the LORD to the Kidron Valley outside Jerusalem and burned it there. He ground it to powder and scattered the dust over the graves of the common people.
   
7. He also tore down the quarters of the male shrine prostitutes, which were in the temple of the LORD and where women did weaving for Asherah.
   
8. Josiah brought all the priests from the towns of Judah and desecrated the high places, from Geba to Beersheba, where the priests had burned incense. He broke down the shrines at the gates--at the entrance to the Gate of Joshua, the city governor, which is on the left of the city gate.
   
9. Although the priests of the high places did not serve at the altar of the LORD in Jerusalem, they ate unleavened bread with their fellow priests.
   
10. He desecrated Topheth, which was in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, so no one could use it to sacrifice his son or daughter in the fire to Molech.
    

11. 또 유다 列王(열왕)이 太陽(태양)을 爲(위)하여 드린 말들을 除(제)하여 버렸으니 이 말들은 여호와의 殿(전)으로 들어가는 곳의 ^ㅁ近處(근처) ^ㅂ侍從(시종) 나단멜렉의 집 곁에 있던 것이며 또 太陽(태양) 수레를 불사르고
    
12. 유다 列王(열왕)이 ^ㅅ아하스의 다락 지붕에 세운 壇(단)들과 므낫세가 ^ㅇ여호와의 殿(전) 두 마당에 세운 壇(단)들을 王(왕)이 다 헐고 거기서 빻아내려서 그 가루를 ^ㅈ기드론 시내에 쏟아버리고
    
13. 또 예루살렘 앞 ^ㅊ滅亡山(멸망산) 右便(우편)에 세운 山堂(산당)을 더럽게 하였으니 이는 옛적에 이스라엘王(왕) 솔로몬이 시돈 사람의 可憎(가증)한 ^ㅋ아스다롯과 모압 사람의 可憎(가증)한 ^ㅌ그모스와 암몬 子孫(자손)의 可憎(가증)한 ^ㅍ밀곰을 爲(위)하여 세웠던 것이며
    
14. 王(왕)이 또 ^ㅎ石像(석상)들을 깨뜨리며 아세라 木像(목상)들을 찍고 사람의 骸骨(해골)로 그곳에 채웠더라
    
15. 이스라엘로 犯罪(범죄)케 한 ^ㅏ느밧의 아들 여로보암이 벧엘에 세운 壇(단)과 ^ㅑ山堂(산당)을 王(왕)이 헐고 ^ㅓ또 그 山堂(산당)을 불사르고 빻아서 가루를 만들며 또 아세라 木像(목상)을 불살랐더라
    

11. Und tat ab die "Rosse," welche die Könige Juda's hatten der Sonne gesetzt am Eingang des Hauses des "HERRN," an der Kammer "Nethan-Melechs," des "Kämmerers," die im Parwarim war; und die Wagen der Sonne verbrannte er mit Feuer.
    
12. Und die Altäre auf dem "Dach," dem Söller des "Ahas," die die Könige Juda's gemacht "hatten," und die "Altäre," die Manasse gemacht hatte in den zwei Höfen des Hauses des "HERRN," brach der König "ab," und lief von dannen und warf ihren Staub in den Bach Kidron.
    
13. Auch die "Höhen," die vor Jerusalem "waren," zur Rechten am Berge des "Verderbens," die "Salomo," der König "Israels," gebaut hatte der "Asthoreth," dem Greuel von "Sidon," und "Kamos," ",dem" Greuel von "Moab," und "Milkom," dem Greuel der Kinder "Ammon," verunreinigte der "König,"
    
14. und zerbrach die Säulen und rottete aus die Ascherabilder und füllte ihre Stätte mit Menschenknochen.
    
15. Auch den Altar zu "Beth-El," die "Höhe," die Jerobeam gemacht "hatte," der Sohn "Nebats," der Israel sündigen "machte," denselben Altar brach er ab und die Höhe und verbrannte die Höhe und machte sie zu Staub und verbrannte das Ascherabild.
    

11. He removed from the entrance to the temple of the LORD the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun. They were in the court near the room of an official named Nathan-Melech. Josiah then burned the chariots dedicated to the sun.
    
12. He pulled down the altars the kings of Judah had erected on the roof near the upper room of Ahaz, and the altars Manasseh had built in the two courts of the temple of the LORD. He removed them from there, smashed them to pieces and threw the rubble into the Kidron Valley.
    
13. The king also desecrated the high places that were east of Jerusalem on the south of the Hill of Corruption--the ones Solomon king of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the vile goddess of the Sidonians, for Chemosh the vile god of Moab, and for Molech the detestable god of the people of Ammon.
    
14. Josiah smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles and covered the sites with human bones.
    
15. Even the altar at Bethel, the high place made by Jeroboam son of Nebat, who had caused Israel to sin--even that altar and high place he demolished. He burned the high place and ground it to powder, and burned the Asherah pole also.
    

16. 요시야가 몸을 돌이켜 山(산)에 있는 墓室(묘실)들을 보고 보내어 그 墓室(묘실)에서 骸骨(해골)을 取(취)하여다가 壇(단) 위에 불살라 그 壇(단)을 더럽게 하니라 이 일을 하나님의 사람이 傳(전)하였더니 그 傳(전)한 ^ㅕ여호와의 말씀대로 되었더라
    
17. 요시야가 이르되 내게 보이는 저것은 무슨 碑石(비석)이냐 城邑(성읍) 사람들이 告(고)하되 王(왕)께서 벧엘의 壇(단)에 向(향)하여 行(행)하신 이 일을 傳(전)하러 유다에서 왔던 ^ㅗ하나님의 사람의 墓室(묘실)이니이다
    
18. 가로되 그대로 두고 그 뼈를 옮기지 말라 하매 무리가 그 뼈와 사마리아에서 온 ^ㅛ先知者(선지자)의 뼈는 그대로 두었더라
    
19. ^ㅜ前(전)에 이스라엘 列王(열왕)이 사마리아 各(각) 城邑(성읍)에 지어서 여호와의 怒(노)를 激發(격발)한 山堂(산당)을 요시야가 다 除(제)하되 벧엘에서 行(행)한 모든 일대로 行(행)하고
    
20. 또 ^ㅠ거기 있는 山堂(산당)의 祭司長(제사장)들을 다 壇(단) 위에서 죽이고 ^으사람의 骸骨(해골)을 壇(단) 위에 불사르고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
    

16. Und Josia wandte sich und sah die "Gräber," die da waren auf dem "Berge," und sandte hin und ließ die Knochen aus den Gräbern holen und verbrannte sie auf dem Altar und verunreinigte ihn nach dem Wort des "HERRN," das der Mann Gottes ausgerufen "hatte," der solches ausrief.
    
17. Und er sprach: Was ist das für ein "Grabmal," das ich sehe? Und die Leute in der Stadt sprachen zu ihm: Es ist das Grab des Mannes "Gottes," der von Juda kam und rief solches "aus," das du getan hast wider den Altar zu Beth-El.
    
18. Und er sprach: Laßt ihn liegen; niemand bewege seine Gebeine! Also wurden seine Gebeine errettet mit den Gebeinen des "Propheten," der von Samaria gekommen war.
    
19. Er tat auch weg alle Häuser der Höhen in den Städten "Samarias," welche die Könige Israel gemacht "hatten," (den HERRN) zu "erzürnen," und tat mit ihnen ganz wie er zu Beth-El getan hatte. {~}
    
20. Und er opferte alle Priester der "Höhen," die daselbst "waren," auf den Altären und verbrannte also Menschengebeine darauf und kam wieder gen Jerusalem.
    

16. Then Josiah looked around, and when he saw the tombs that were there on the hillside, he had the bones removed from them and burned on the altar to defile it, in accordance with the word of the LORD proclaimed by the man of God who foretold these things.
    
17. The king asked, "What is that tombstone I see?" The men of the city said, "It marks the tomb of the man of God who came from Judah and pronounced against the altar of Bethel the very things you have done to it."
    
18. "Leave it alone," he said. "Don't let anyone disturb his bones." So they spared his bones and those of the prophet who had come from Samaria.
    
19. Just as he had done at Bethel, Josiah removed and defiled all the shrines at the high places that the kings of Israel had built in the towns of Samaria that had provoked the LORD to anger.
    
20. Josiah slaughtered all the priests of those high places on the altars and burned human bones on them. Then he went back to Jerusalem.
    

21. 王(왕)이 뭇 百姓(백성)에게 命(명)하여 가로되 ^이이 言約冊(언약책)에 記錄(기록)된대로 너희의 하나님 여호와를 爲(위)하여 ^ㅐ逾越節(유월절)을 지키라 하매
    
22. ^ㄱ士師(사사)가 이스라엘을 다스리던 時代(시대)부터 이스라엘 列王(열왕)의 時代(시대)에든지 유다 列王(열왕)의 時代(시대)에든지 이렇게 逾越節(유월절)을 지킨 일이 없었더니
    
23. 요시야王(왕) 十八年(십팔년)에 예루살렘에서 여호와 앞에 이 逾越節(유월절)을 지켰더라
    
24. 요시야가 또 유다 땅과 예루살렘에 보이는 ^ㄴ神接(신접)한 者(자)와 박수와 ^ㄷ드라빔과 ^ㄹ偶像(우상)과 모든 可憎(가증)한 것을 다 除(제)하였으니 이는 大祭司長(대제사장) ^ㅁ힐기야가 여호와의 殿(전)에서 發見(발견)한 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)된 ^ㅂ律法(률법) 말씀을 이루려 함이라
    
25. ^ㅅ요시야와 같이 마음을 다하며 性稟(성품)을 다하며 힘을 다하여 여호와를 向(향)하여 모세의 모든 律法(률법)을 穩全(온전)히 遵行(준행)한 임금은 요시야 前(전)에도 없었고 後(후)에도 그와 같은 者(자)가 없었더라
    

21. Und der König gebot dem Volk und sprach: Haltet dem "HERRN," eurem "Gott," "Passah," wie es geschrieben steht in diesem Buch des Bundes!
    
22. Denn es war kein Passah so gehalten wie dieses von der Richter Zeit "an," die Israel gerichtet "haben," und in allen Zeiten der Könige Israels und der Könige Juda's;
    
23. sondern im achtzehnten Jahr des Königs Josia ward dieses Passah gehalten dem HERRN zu Jerusalem.
    
24. Auch fegte Josia aus alle "Wahrsager," "Zeichendeuter," Bilder und Götzen und alle "Greuel," die im Lande Juda und zu Jerusalem gesehen "wurden," auf daß er aufrichtete die Worte des "Gesetzes," die geschrieben standen im "Buch," das "Hilkia," der "Priester," fand im Hause des HERRN.
    
25. Seinesgleichen war vor ihm kein König "gewesen," der so von ganzem "Herzen," von ganzer "Seele," von allen Kräften sich zum HERRN bekehrte nach allem Gesetz Mose's; und nach ihm kam seinesgleichen nicht auf.
    

21. The king gave this order to all the people: "Celebrate the Passover to the LORD your God, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant."
    
22. Not since the days of the judges who led Israel, nor throughout the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah, had any such Passover been observed.
    
23. But in the eighteenth year of King Josiah, this Passover was celebrated to the LORD in Jerusalem.
    
24. Furthermore, Josiah got rid of the mediums and spiritists, the household gods, the idols and all the other detestable things seen in Judah and Jerusalem. This he did to fulfill the requirements of the law written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had discovered in the temple of the LORD.
    
25. Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the LORD as he did--with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses.
    

26. 그러나 여호와께서 유다를 向(향)하여 震怒(진노)하신 그 크게 타오르는 震怒(진노)를 돌이키지 아니하셨으니 이는 ^ㅇ므낫세가 여호와를 激怒(격노)케 한 그 모든 激怒(격노)를 因(인)함이라
    
27. 여호와께서 가라사대 ^ㅈ내가 이스라엘을 물리친 것 같이 유다도 내 앞에서 물리치며 내가 뺀 이 城(성) 예루살렘과 ^ㅊ내 이름을 거기 두리라 한 이 殿(전)을 버리리라 하셨더라
    
28. 요시야의 남은 事蹟(사적)과 모든 行(행)한 일은 유다 王(왕) 歷代(력대) 志略(지략)에 記錄(기록)되지 아니하였느냐
    
29. ^ㅋ요시야 當時(당시)에 애굽 王(왕) ^ㅌ바로느고가 앗수르 王(왕)을 치고자하여 유브라데 河水(하수)로 올라가므로 요시야 王(왕)이 나가서 防備(방비)하더니 애굽 王(왕)이 요시야를 ^ㅍ므깃도에서 만나본 後(후)에 죽인지라
    
30. ^ㅎ信服(신복)들이 그 屍體(시체)를 兵車(병거)에 싣고 므깃도에서 예루살렘으로 돌아와서 그 墓室(묘실)에 葬事(장사)하니 ^ㅏ國民(국민)이 요시야의 아들 여호아하스를 데려다가 저에게 기름을 붓고 그 父親(부친)을 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)을 삼았더라
    

26. Doch kehrte sich der Herr nicht von dem Grimm seines "Zorns," mit dem er über Juda erzürnt war um all der Reizungen "willen," durch die ihn Manasse gereizt hatte.
    
27. Und der HERR sprach: Ich will Juda auch von meinem Angesicht "tun," wie ich Israel weggetan "habe," und will diese Stadt "verwerfen," die ich erwählt "hatte," "Jerusalem," und das "Haus," davon ich gesagt habe: Mein Namen soll daselbst sein.
    
28. Was aber mehr von Josia zu sagen ist und "alles," was er getan "hat," "siehe," das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Juda's.
    
29. Zu seiner Zeit zog Pharao "Necho," der König in "Ägypten," herauf wider den König von Assyrien an das Wasser Euphrat. Aber der König Josia zog ihm entgegen und starb zu "Megiddo," da er ihn gesehen hatte.
    
30. Und seine Knechte führten ihn tot von Megiddo und brachten ihn gen Jerusalem und begruben ihn in seinem Grabe. Und das Volk im Lande nahm "Joahas," den Sohn "Josias," und salbten ihn und machten ihn zum König an seines Vaters Statt.
    

26. Nevertheless, the LORD did not turn away from the heat of his fierce anger, which burned against Judah because of all that Manasseh had done to provoke him to anger.
    
27. So the LORD said, "I will remove Judah also from my presence as I removed Israel, and I will reject Jerusalem, the city I chose, and this temple, about which I said, 'There shall my Name be.'"
    
28. As for the other events of Josiah's reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
    
29. While Josiah was king, Pharaoh Neco king of Egypt went up to the Euphrates River to help the king of Assyria. King Josiah marched out to meet him in battle, but Neco faced him and killed him at Megiddo.
    
30. Josiah's servants brought his body in a chariot from Megiddo to Jerusalem and buried him in his own tomb. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz son of Josiah and anointed him and made him king in place of his father.
    

31. ^ㅑ여호아하스가 位(위)에 나아갈 때에 나이 二十三歲(이십삼세)라 예루살렘에서 석달을 治理(치리)하니라 그 母親(모친)의 이름은 ^ㅓ하무달이라 립나 예레미야의 딸이더라
    
32. 여호아하스가 그 ^ㅕ列祖(열조)의 모든 行爲(행위)대로 여호와 보시기에 惡(악)을 行(행)하였더니
    
33. 바로느고가 저를 ^ㅗ하맛 땅 ^ㅛ립나에 가두어 예루살렘에서 王(왕)이 되지 못하게 하고 또 그 나라로 銀(은) 一百(일백) 달란트와 金(금) 한 달란트를 罰金(벌금)으로 내게 하고
    
34. 바로느고가 요시야의 아들 엘리아김으로 그 아비 요시야를 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)을 삼고 ^ㅜ그 이름을 고쳐 여호야김이라 하고 여호아하스는 ^ㅠ애굽으로 잡아갔더니 저가 거기서 죽으니라
    
35. 여호야김이 ^으銀(은)과 金(금)을 바로에게 주니라 저가 바로느고의 命令(명령)대로 그에게 그 돈을 주기 爲(위)하여 나라에 賦課(부과)하되 國民(국민) 各(각) 사람의 힘대로 額數(액수)를 定(정)하고 銀金(은금)을 勒捧(늑봉)하였더라
    

31. Dreiundzwanzig Jahre war Joahas "alt," da er König "ward," und regierte drei Monate zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß "Hamutal," eine Tochter Jeremia's von Libna.
    
32. Und er "tat," was dem HERRN übel "gefiel," wie seine Väter getan hatten.
    
33. Aber Pharao Necho legte ihn ins Gefängnis zu Ribla im Lande "Hamath," daß er nicht regieren sollte in "Jerusalem," und legte eine Schatzung aufs Land: hundert Zentner Silber und einen Zentner Gold.
    
34. Und Pharao Necho machte zum König "Eljakim," den Sohn "Josias," anstatt seines Vaters Josia und wandte seinen Namen in Jojakim. Aber Joahas nahm er und brachte ihn nach Ägypten; daselbst starb er.
    
35. Und Jojakim gab das Silber und das Gold Pharao. Doch schätzte er das "Land," daß es solches Silber gäbe nach Befehl Pharaos; einen jeglichen nach seinem Vermögen schätzte er am Silber und Gold unter dem Volk im "Lande," daß er es dem Pharao Necho gäbe.
    

31. Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother's name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah.
    
32. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as his fathers had done.
    
33. Pharaoh Neco put him in chains at Riblah in the land of Hamath so that he might not reign in Jerusalem, and he imposed on Judah a levy of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
    
34. Pharaoh Neco made Eliakim son of Josiah king in place of his father Josiah and changed Eliakim's name to Jehoiakim. But he took Jehoahaz and carried him off to Egypt, and there he died.
    
35. Jehoiakim paid Pharaoh Neco the silver and gold he demanded. In order to do so, he taxed the land and exacted the silver and gold from the people of the land according to their assessments.
    

36. ^이여호야김이 王(왕)이 될 때에 나이 二十五歲(이십오세)라 예루살렘에서 十一年(십일년)을 治理(치리)하니라 그 母親(모친)의 이름은 스비다라 루마 브다야의 딸이더라
    
37. 여호야김이 그 列祖(열조)의 모든 行(행)한 일을 本(본)받아 여호와 보시기에 惡(악)을 行(행)하였더라
    

36. Fünfundzwanzig Jahre alt war "Jojakim," da er König "ward," und regierte elf Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß "Sebuda," eine Tochter Pedajas von Ruma.
    
37. Und er "tat," was dem HERRN übel "gefiel," wie seine Väter getan hatten.

37. And he did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as his fathers had done.
