1. 바벨론 王(왕) ^ㄹ벨사살 元年(원년)에 ^ㅁ다니엘이 그 寢床(침상)에서 꿈을 꾸며 ^ㅂ腦(뇌) 속으로 異像(이상)을 받고 그 꿈을 記錄(기록)하며 그 일의 大略(대략)을 陳述(진술)하니라
   
2. 다니엘이 陳述(진술)하여 가로되 내가 밤에 異像(이상)을 보았는데 ^ㅅ하늘의 네 바람이 큰 바다로 몰려 불더니
   
3. 큰 짐승 넷이 ^ㅇ바다에서 나왔는데 그 模樣(모양)이 各各(각각) 다르니
   
4. 첫째는 獅子(사자)와 같은데 독수리의 날개가 있더니 내가 볼 사이에 그 날개가 뽑혔고 또 땅에서 들려서 사람처럼 두 발로 서게 함을 입었으며 또 사람의 마음을 받았으며
   
5. ^ㅈ다른 짐승 곧 둘째는 곰과 같은데 그것이 몸 한便(편)을 들었고 그 입의 잇사이에는 세 갈빗대가 물렸는데 그에게 말하는 者(자)가 있어 이르기를 일어나서 많은 고기를 먹으라 하였으며
   

1. Im ersten Jahr "Belsazers," des Königs zu "Babel," hatte Daniel einen Traum und Gesichte auf seinem Bett; und er schrieb den Traum auf und verfaßte ihn also:
   
2. Ich, "Daniel," sah ein Gesicht in der "Nacht," und "siehe," die vier Winde unter dem Himmel stürmten widereinander auf dem großen Meer. {~} {~}
   
3. Und vier große Tiere stiegen heraus aus dem "Meer," ein jedes anders denn das andere.
   
4. Das erste wie ein Löwe und hatte Flügel wie ein Adler. Ich sah "zu," bis daß ihm die Flügel ausgerauft wurden; und es ward von der Erde "aufgehoben," und es stand auf zwei Füßen wie ein "Mensch," und ihm ward ein menschlich Herz gegeben.
   
5. Und "siehe," das andere Tier hernach war gleich einem Bären und stand auf der einen Seite und hatte in seinem Maul unter seinen Zähnen drei "große," lange Zähne. Und man sprach zu ihm: Stehe auf und friß viel Fleisch!
   

1. In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream, and visions passed through his mind as he was lying on his bed. He wrote down the substance of his dream.
   
2. Daniel said: "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me were the four winds of heaven churning up the great sea.
   
3. Four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.
   
4. "The first was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were torn off and it was lifted from the ground so that it stood on two feet like a man, and the heart of a man was given to it.
   
5. "And there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. It was told, 'Get up and eat your fill of flesh!'
   

6. 그 後(후)에 내가 또 본즉 다른 짐승 곧 ^ㅊ표범과 같은 것이 있는데 그 등에는 새의 날개 넷이 있고 그 짐승에게 또 머리 넷이 있으며 또 ^ㅋ權勢(권세)를 받았으며
   
7. 내가 밤 異像(이상) 가운데 그 다음에 본 네째 짐승은 ^ㅌ무섭고 놀라우며 또 極(극)히 强(강)하며 또 큰 鐵(철) 이가 있어서 먹고 부숴뜨리고 그 나머지를 발로 밟았으며 이 짐승은 前(전)의 모든 짐승과 다르고 또 ^ㅍ열 뿔이 있으므로
   
8. 내가 그 뿔을 唯心(유심)히 보는 中(중) 다른 ^ㅎ작은 뿔이 그 사이에서 나더니 먼저 뿔 中(중)에 셋이 그 앞에 뿌리까지 뽑혔으며 이 작은 뿔에는 사람의 눈 같은 눈이 있고 ^ㅏ또 입이 있어 큰 말을 하였느니라
   
9. 내가 보았는데 ^ㅑ王座(왕좌)가 놓이고 ^ㅓ옛적부터 恒常(항상) 계신 이가 座定(좌정)하셨는데 ^ㅕ그 옷은 희기가 눈 같고 ^ㅗ그 머리털은 깨끗한 羊(양)의 털같고 그 寶座(보좌)는 불꽃이요 ^ㅛ그 바퀴는 붙는 불이며
   
10. ^ㅜ불이 江(강)처럼 흘러 그 앞에서 나오며 그에게 ^ㅠ隧從(수종)하는 者(자)는 ^으千千(천천)이요 ^이그 앞에 侍衛(시위)한 者(자)는 萬萬(만만)이며 ^ㅐ審判(심판)을 베푸는데 ^ㄱ冊(책)들이 펴 놓였더라
    

6. Nach diesem sah "ich," und "siehe," ein anderes "Tier," gleich einem "Parder," das hatte vier Flügel wie ein Vogel auf seinem "Rücken," und das Tier hatte vier Köpfe; und ihm ward Gewalt gegeben.
   
7. Nach diesem sah ich in diesem Gesicht in der "Nacht," und "siehe," das vierte Tier war greulich und schrecklich und sehr stark und hatte große eiserne "Zähne," fraß um sich und "zermalmte," und das übrige zertrat's mit seinen Füßen; es war auch viel anders denn die vorigen und hatte zehn Hörner. {~}
   
8. Da ich aber die Hörner "schaute," "siehe," da brach hervor zwischen ihnen ein anderes kleines "Horn," vor welchen der vorigen Hörner drei ausgerissen wurden; und "siehe," dasselbe Horn hatte Augen wie Menschenaugen und ein "Maul," das redete große Dinge.
   
9. Solches sah "ich," bis daß Stühle gesetzt wurden; und der Alte setzte sich. Des Kleid war "schneeweiß," und das Haar auf seinem Haupt wie reine Wolle; sein Stuhl war eitel "Feuerflammen," und dessen Räder brannten mit Feuer.
   
10. Und von ihm her ging ein langer feuriger Strahl. Tausend mal tausend dienten "ihm," und zehntausend mal zehntausend standen vor ihm. Das Gericht ward "gehalten," und die Bücher wurden aufgetan.
    

6. "After that, I looked, and there before me was another beast, one that looked like a leopard. And on its back it had four wings like those of a bird. This beast had four heads, and it was given authority to rule.
   
7. "After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast--terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.
   
8. "While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth that spoke boastfully.
   
9. "As I looked, "thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.
   
10. A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.
    

11. 그 때에 내가 그 큰 말하는 작은 뿔의 목소리로 因(인)하여 注目(주목)하여 보는 사이에 ^ㄴ짐승이 죽임을 當(당)하고 그 屍體(시체)가 傷(상)한 바 되어 붙는 불에 던진 바 되었으며
    
12. 그 남은 모든 짐승은 ^ㄷ그 權勢(권세)를 빼았겼으나 그 生命(생명)은 保存(보존)되어 定(정)한 時期(시기)가 이르기를 기다리게 되었더라
    
13. 내가 또 밤 異像(이상) 中(중)에 보았는데 ^ㄹ人子(인자) 같은 이가 하늘 구름을 타고 와서 옛적부터 恒常(항상) 계신 者(자)에게 나아와 그 앞에 引導(인도)되매
    
14. ^ㅁ그에게 權勢(권세)와 榮光(영광)과 나라를 주고 모든 ^ㅂ百姓(백성)과 나라들과 各(각) 方言(방언)하는 者(자)로 그를 섬기게 하였으니 ^ㅅ그 權勢(권세)는 永遠(영원)한 權勢(권세)라 옮기지 아니할 것이요 그 나라는 廢(폐)하지 아니할 것이니라
    
15. 나 다니엘이 中心(중심)에 근심하며 ^ㅇ내 腦(뇌) 속에 異像(이상)이 나로 煩悶(번민)케 한지라
    

11. Ich sah zu um der großen Reden "willen," so das Horn redete; ich sah zu bis das Tier getötet ward und sein Leib umkam und ins Feuer geworfen ward
    
12. und der anderen Tiere Gewalt auch aus war; denn es war ihnen Zeit und Stunde "bestimmt," wie lange ein jegliches währen sollte.
    
13. Ich sah in diesem Gesicht des "Nachts," und "siehe," es kam einer in des Himmels Wolken wie eines Menschen Sohn bis zu dem Alten und ward vor ihn gebracht.
    
14. Der gab ihm "Gewalt," Ehre und "Reich," daß ihm alle "Völker," Leute und Zungen dienen sollten. Seine Gewalt ist "ewig," die nicht "vergeht," und sein Königreich hat kein Ende.
    
15. Ich, "Daniel," entsetzte mich "davor," und solches Gesicht erschreckte mich. {~}
    

11. "Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking. I kept looking until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire.
    
12. (The other beasts had been stripped of their authority, but were allowed to live for a period of time.)
    
13. "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.
    
14. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
    
15. "I, Daniel, was troubled in spirit, and the visions that passed through my mind disturbed me.
    

16. 내가 그 곁에 모신 者(자) 中(중) 하나에게 나아가서 이 모든 일의 眞相(진상)을 물으매 그가 내게 告(고)하여 그 일의 解釋(해석)을 알게 하여 가로되
    
17. ^ㅈ그 네 큰 짐승은 네 王(왕)이라 世上(세상)에 일어날 것이로되
    
18. ^ㅊ至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)의 聖徒(성도)들이 나라를 얻으리니 그 누림이 永遠(영원)하고 永遠(영원)하고 永遠(영원)하리라
    
19. 이에 내가 ^ㅋ네째 짐승의 眞相(진상)을 알고자 하였으니 곧 그것은 모든 짐승과 달라서 甚(심)히 무섭고 그 이는 鐵(철)이요 그 발톱은 놋이며 먹고 부숴뜨리고 나머지는 발로 밟았으며
    
20. 또 ^ㅌ그것의 머리에는 열 뿔이 있고 그 外(외)에 또 다른 뿔이 나오매 세 뿔이 그 앞에 빠졌으며 그 뿔에는 눈도 있고 큰 말하는 입도 있고 그 模樣(모양)이 同類(동류)보다 强(강)하여 보인 것이라
    

16. Und ich ging zu der "einem," die "dastanden," und bat "ihn," daß er mir von dem allem gewissen Bericht gäbe. Und er redete mit mir und zeigte "mir," was es bedeutete.
    
17. Diese vier großen Tiere sind vier "Reiche," so auf Erden kommen werden.
    
18. Aber die Heiligen des Höchsten werden das Reich einnehmen und werden's immer und ewiglich besitzen.
    
19. Darnach hätte ich gern gewußt gewissen Bericht von dem vierten "Tier," welches gar anders war denn die anderen "alle," sehr "greulich," das eiserne Zähne und eherne Klauen "hatte," das um sich fraß und zermalmte und das übrige mit seinen Füßen zertrat;
    
20. und von den zehn Hörnern auf seinem Haupt und von dem "andern," das "hervorbrach," vor welchem drei abfielen; und das Horn hatte Augen und ein "Maul," das große Dinge "redete," und war "größer," denn die neben ihm waren.
    

16. I approached one of those standing there and asked him the true meaning of all this. "So he told me and gave me the interpretation of these things:
    
17. 'The four great beasts are four kingdoms that will rise from the earth.
    
18. But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever--yes, for ever and ever.'
    
19. "Then I wanted to know the true meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others and most terrifying, with its iron teeth and bronze claws--the beast that crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left.
    
20. I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell--the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully.
    

21. 내가 본즉 이 뿔이 ^ㅍ聖徒(성도)들로 더불어 싸워 이기었더니
    
22. ^ㅎ옛적부터 恒常(항상) 계신 者(자)가 와서 至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)의 聖徒(성도)를 爲(위)하여 伸寃(신원)하셨고 때가 이르매 聖徒(성도)가 나라를 얻었더라
    
23. 모신 者(자)가 이처럼 이르되 네째 짐승은 곧 땅의 네째 나라인데 이는 모든 나라보다 달라서 天下(천하)를 삼키고 밟아 부숴뜨릴 것이며
    
24. 그 열 뿔은 이 나라에서 일어날 열 王(왕)이요 그 後(후)에 또 하나가 일어나리니 그는 먼저 있던 者(자)들과 다르고 또 세 王(왕)을 服從(복종)시킬 것이며
    
25. ^ㅏ그가 將次(장차) 말로 至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)를 對敵(대적)하며 또 至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)의 聖徒(성도)를 괴롭게 할 것이며 그가 또 ^ㅑ때와 法(법)을 變改(변개)코자 할 것이며 聖徒(성도)는 그의 손에 붙인 바 되어 ^ㅓ한 때와 두 때와 반 때를 지내리라
    

21. Und ich sah das Horn streiten wider die "Heiligen," und es behielt den Sieg wider "sie,"
    
22. bis der Alte kam und Gericht hielt für die Heiligen des "Höchsten," und die Zeit "kam," daß die Heiligen das Reich einnahmen.
    
23. Er sprach also: Das vierte Tier wird das vierte Reich auf Erden "sein," welches wird gar anders sein denn alle Reiche; es wird alle Lande "fressen," zertreten und zermalmen.
    
24. Die Zehn Hörner bedeuten zehn "Könige," so aus dem Reich entstehen werden. Nach ihnen aber wird ein anderer "aufkommen," der wird gar anders sein denn die vorigen und wird drei Könige demütigen.
    
25. Er wird den Höchsten Lästern und die Heiligen des Höchsten verstören und wird sich "unterstehen," Zeit und Gesetz zu ändern. Sie werden aber in sein Hand gegeben werden eine Zeit und zwei Zeiten und eine halbe Zeit.
    

21. As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them,
    
22. until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.
    
23. "He gave me this explanation: 'The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it.
    
24. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings.
    
25. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.
    

26. ^ㅕ그러나 審判(심판)이 始作(시작)된즉 ^ㅗ그는 權勢(권세)를 빼앗기고 ^ㅛ끝까지 滅亡(멸망)할 것이요
    
27. ^ㅜ나라와 權勢(권세)와 온 天下(천하) 列國(렬국)의 威勢(위세)가 至極(지극)히 높으신 者(자)의 聖民(성민)에게 붙인 바 되리니 ^ㅠ그의 나라는 永遠(영원)한 나라이라 모든 權勢(권세) 있는 者(자)가 다 그를 섬겨 服從(복종)하리라 하여
    
28. 그 말이 이에 그친지라 ^으나 다니엘은 ^이中心(중심)이 煩悶(번민)하였으며 ^ㅐ내 낯 빛이 變(변)하였으나 ^ㄱ내가 이 일을 마음에 감추었느니라
    

26. Darnach wird das Gericht gehalten werden; da wird dann seine Gewalt weggenommen "werden," daß er zu Grund vertilgt und umgebracht werde.
    
27. Aber das "Reich," Gewalt und Macht unter dem ganzen Himmel wird dem heiligen Volk des Höchsten gegeben "werden," des Reich ewig "ist," und alle Gewalt wird ihm dienen und gehorchen.
    
28. Das war der Rede Ende. Aber "ich," "Daniel," ward sehr betrübt in meinen "Gedanken," und meine Gestalt verfiel; doch behielt ich die Rede in meinem Herzen.
    

26. "'But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever.
    
27. Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.'
    
28. "This is the end of the matter. I, Daniel, was deeply troubled by my thoughts, and my face turned pale, but I kept the matter to myself."
