여호수아(Josué) 9장 [개역한글 : LSG1910 : NIV]

1. 요단 西便(서편) ^ㅓ山地(산지)와 平地(평지)와 레바논 앞 ^ㅕ大(대) 海邊(해변)에 있는 ^ㅗ헷 사람과, 아모리 사람과, 가나안 사람과, 브리스 사람과, 히위 사람과, 여부스 사람의 모든 王(왕)이 이 일을 듣고
   
2. 모여서 一心(일심)으로 여호수아와 이스라엘로 더불어 싸우려 하더라
   
3. ^ㅛ기브온 居民(거민)들이 여호수아의 ^ㅜ여리고와 ^ㅠ아이에 行(행)한 일을 듣고
   
4. 꾀를 내어 使臣(사신)의 模樣(모양)을 꾸미되 해어진 纏袋(전대)와 해어지고 찢어져서 기운 가죽 葡萄酒(포도주) 負袋(부대)를 나귀에 싣고
   
5. 그 발에는 낡아 기운 신을 신고 낡은 옷을 입고 다 마르고 곰팡이 난 떡을 豫備(예비)하고
   

1. A la nouvelle de ces choses, tous les rois qui étaient en deçà du Jourdain, dans la montagne et dans la vallée, et sur toute la côte de la grande mer, jusque près du Liban, les Héthiens, les Amoréens, les Cananéens, les Phéréziens, les Héviens et les Jébusiens,
   
2. s'unirent ensemble d'un commun accord pour combattre contre Josué et contre Israël.
   
3. Les habitants de Gabaon, de leur côté, lorsqu'ils apprirent de quelle manière Josué avait traité Jéricho et Aï,
   
4. eurent recours à la ruse, et se mirent en route avec des provisions de voyage. Ils prirent de vieux sacs pour leurs ânes, et de vieilles outres à vin déchirées et recousues,
   
5. ils portaient à leurs pieds de vieux souliers raccommodés, et sur eux de vieux vêtements; et tout le pain qu'ils avaient pour nourriture était sec et en miettes.
   

1. Now when all the kings west of the Jordan heard about these things--those in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the entire coast of the Great Sea as far as Lebanon (the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites)--
   
2. they came together to make war against Joshua and Israel.
   
3. However, when the people of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and Ai,
   
4. they resorted to a ruse: They went as a delegation whose donkeys were loaded with worn-out sacks and old wineskins, cracked and mended.
   
5. The men put worn and patched sandals on their feet and wore old clothes. All the bread of their food supply was dry and moldy.
   

6. 그들이 ^으길갈 陣(진)으로 와서 여호수아에게 이르러 그와 이스라엘 사람들에게 이르되 우리는 遠方(원방)에서 왔나이다 이제 우리와 約條(약조)하사이다
   
7. 이스라엘 사람들이 ^이히위 사람들에게 이르되 너희가 우리 中(중)에 居(거)하는 듯하니 우리가 ^ㅐ어떻게 너희와 約條(약조)할 수 있으랴
   
8. 그들이 여호수아에게 이르되 ^ㄱ우리는 當身(당신)의 종이니이다 여호수아가 그들에게 묻되 너희는 누구며 어디서 왔느뇨
   
9. 그들이 여호수아에게 對答(대답)하되 종들은 當身(당신)의 하나님 여호와의 이름을 因(인)하여 ^ㄴ甚(심)히 먼 地方(지방)에서 왔사오니 이는 ^ㄷ우리가 그의 名聲(명성)과 그가 애굽에서 行(행)하신 모든 일을 들으며
   
10. ^ㄹ또 그가 요단 東便(동편)에 있는 아모리 사람의 두 王(왕) 곧 헤스본 王(왕) 시혼과 ^ㅁ아스다롯에 있는 바산 王(왕) 옥에게 行(행)하신 모든 일을 들었음이니이다
    

6. Ils allèrent auprès de Josué au camp de Guilgal, et ils lui dirent, ainsi qu'à tous ceux d'Israël: Nous venons d'un pays éloigné, et maintenant faites alliance avec nous.
   
7. Les hommes d'Israël répondirent à ces Héviens: Peut-être que vous habitez au milieu de nous, et comment ferions-nous alliance avec vous?
   
8. Ils dirent à Josué: Nous sommes tes serviteurs. Et Josué leur dit: Qui êtes-vous, et d'où venez-vous?
   
9. Ils lui répondirent: Tes serviteurs viennent d'un pays très éloigné, sur le renom de l'Éternel, ton Dieu; car nous avons entendu parler de lui, de tout ce qu'il a fait en Égypte,
   
10. et de la manière dont il a traité les deux rois des Amoréens au delà du Jourdain, Sihon, roi de Hesbon, et Og, roi de Basan, qui était à Aschtaroth.
    

6. Then they went to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal and said to him and the men of Israel, "We have come from a distant country; make a treaty with us."
   
7. The men of Israel said to the Hivites, "But perhaps you live near us. How then can we make a treaty with you?"
   
8. "We are your servants," they said to Joshua. But Joshua asked, "Who are you and where do you come from?"
   
9. They answered: "Your servants have come from a very distant country because of the fame of the LORD your God. For we have heard reports of him: all that he did in Egypt,
   
10. and all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan--Sihon king of Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth.
    

11. 그러므로 우리 長老(장로)들과 우리 나라의 모든 居民(거민)이 우리에게 일러 가로되 너희는 旅行(려행)할 糧食(량식)을 손에 가지고 가서 그들을 맞아서 그들에게 이르기를 우리는 當身(당신)들의 종이니 請(청)컨대 이제 우리와 約條(약조)하사이다 하라 하였나이다
    
12. 우리의 이 떡은 우리가 當身(당신)들에게로 오려고 떠나던 날에 우리들의 집에서 오히려 뜨거운 것을 糧食(량식)으로 取(취)하였더니 보소서 이제 말랐고 곰팡이 났으며
    
13. 또 우리가 葡萄酒(포도주)를 담은 이 가죽 負袋(부대)도 새 것이더니 찢어지게 되었으며 우리의 이 옷과 신도 旅行(려행)이 甚(심)히 길므로 因(인)하여 낡아졌나이다 한지라
    
14. 무리가 그들의 糧食(량식)을 取(취)하고 어떻게 할 것을 ^ㅂ여호와께 묻지 아니하고
    
15. 여호수아가 곧 ^ㅅ그들과 和親(화친)하여 그들을 살리리라는 言約(언약)을 맺고 會衆(회중) 族長(족장)들이 그들에게 盟誓(맹서)하였더라
    

11. Et nos anciens et tous les habitants de notre pays nous ont dit: Prenez avec vous des provisions pour le voyage, allez au-devant d'eux, et vous leur direz: Nous sommes vos serviteurs, et maintenant faites alliance avec nous.
    
12. Voici notre pain: il était encore chaud quand nous en avons fait provision dans nos maisons, le jour où nous sommes partis pour venir vers vous, et maintenant il est sec et en miettes.
    
13. Ces outres à vin, que nous avons remplies toutes neuves, les voilà déchirées; nos vêtements et nos souliers se sont usés par l'excessive longueur de la marche.
    
14. Les hommes d'Israël prirent de leurs provisions, et ils ne consultèrent point l'Éternel.
    
15. Josué fit la paix avec eux, et conclut une alliance par laquelle il devait leur laisser la vie, et les chefs de l'assemblée le leur jurèrent.
    

11. And our elders and all those living in our country said to us, 'Take provisions for your journey; go and meet them and say to them, "We are your servants; make a treaty with us." '
    
12. This bread of ours was warm when we packed it at home on the day we left to come to you. But now see how dry and moldy it is.
    
13. And these wineskins that we filled were new, but see how cracked they are. And our clothes and sandals are worn out by the very long journey."
    
14. The men of Israel sampled their provisions but did not inquire of the LORD.
    
15. Then Joshua made a treaty of peace with them to let them live, and the leaders of the assembly ratified it by oath.
    

16. 그들과 言約(언약)을 맺은 後(후) 三日(삼일)이 지나서야 그들은 近隣(근린)에 있어 ^ㅇ自己(자기)들 中(중)에 居住(거주)하는 者(자)라 함을 들으니라
    
17. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 進行(진행)하여 第(제) 三日(삼일)에 그들의 여러 城邑(성읍)에 이르렀으니 ^ㅈ그 城邑(성읍)은 기브온과, 그비라와, 브에롯과, 기럇여아림이라
    
18. 그러나 會衆(회중) 族長(족장)들이 이스라엘 하나님 여호와로 그들에게 盟誓(맹서)한 故(고)로 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 그들을 치지 못한지라 그러므로 會衆(회중)이 다 族長(족장)들을 怨望(원망)하니
    
19. 모든 族長(족장)이 온 會衆(회중)에게 이르되 우리가 이스라엘 하나님 여호와로 그들에게 盟誓(맹서)하였은즉 이제 그들을 건드리지 못하리라
    
20. 우리가 ^ㅊ그들에게 盟誓(맹서)한 盟約(맹약)을 因(인)하여 ^ㅋ震怒(진노)가 우리에게 臨(임)할까 하노니 이렇게 行(행)하여 그들을 살리리라 하고
    

16. Trois jours après la conclusion de cette alliance, les enfants d'Israël apprirent qu'ils étaient leurs voisins, et qu'ils habitaient au milieu d'eux.
    
17. Car les enfants d'Israël partirent, et arrivèrent à leurs villes le troisième jour; leurs villes étaient Gabaon, Kephira, Beéroth et Kirjath Jearim.
    
18. Ils ne les frappèrent point, parce que les chefs de l'assemblée leur avaient juré par l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, de leur laisser la vie. Mais toute l'assemblée murmura contre les chefs.
    
19. Et tous les chefs dirent à toute l'assemblée: Nous leur avons juré par l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, et maintenant nous ne pouvons les toucher.
    
20. Voici comment nous les traiterons: nous leur laisserons la vie, afin de ne pas attirer sur nous la colère de l'Éternel, à cause du serment que nous leur avons fait.
    

16. Three days after they made the treaty with the Gibeonites, the Israelites heard that they were neighbors, living near them.
    
17. So the Israelites set out and on the third day came to their cities: Gibeon, Kephirah, Beeroth and Kiriath Jearim.
    
18. But the Israelites did not attack them, because the leaders of the assembly had sworn an oath to them by the LORD, the God of Israel. The whole assembly grumbled against the leaders,
    
19. but all the leaders answered, "We have given them our oath by the LORD, the God of Israel, and we cannot touch them now.
    
20. This is what we will do to them: We will let them live, so that wrath will not fall on us for breaking the oath we swore to them."
    

21. 무리에게 이르되 그들을 살리라 하니 ^ㅌ族長(족장)들이 그들에게 이른대로 그들이 온 會衆(회중)을 爲(위)하여 ^ㅍ나무 패며 물 긷는 者(자)가 되었더라
    
22. 여호수아가 그들을 불러다가 일러 가로되 ^ㅎ너희가 우리 가운데 居住(거주)하거늘 어찌하여 우리는 너희에게서 ^ㅏ甚(심)히 멀다 하여 우리를 속였느냐
    
23. 그러므로 너희가 詛呪(저주)를 받나니 너희가 永永(영영)히 종이 되어서 다 내 하나님의 집을 爲(위)하여 ^ㅑ나무 패며 물 긷는 者(자)가 되리라
    
24. 그들이 여호수아에게 對答(대답)하여 가로되 當身(당신)의 하나님 여호와께서 ^ㅓ그 종 모세에게 命(명)하사 이 땅을 다 當身(당신)들에게 주고 이 땅 모든 居民(거민)을 當身(당신)들의 앞에서 滅(멸)하라 하신 것이 當身(당신)의 종에게 分明(분명)히 들리므로 當身(당신)들을 因(인)하여 우리 生命(생명)을 잃을까 ^ㅕ甚(심)히 두려워 하여 이같이 하였나이다
    
25. 보소서, 이제 우리가 當身(당신)의 손에 있으니 當身(당신)의 意向(의향)에 좋고 옳은대로 우리에게 行(행)하소서 한지라
    

21. Ils vivront, leur dirent les chefs. Mais ils furent employés à couper le bois et à puiser l'eau pour toute l'assemblée, comme les chefs le leur avaient dit.
    
22. Josué les fit appeler, et leur parla ainsi: Pourquoi nous avez-vous trompés, en disant: Nous sommes très éloignés de vous, tandis que vous habitez au milieu de nous?
    
23. Maintenant vous êtes maudits, et vous ne cesserez point d'être dans la servitude, de couper le bois et de puiser l'eau pour la maison de mon Dieu.
    
24. Ils répondirent à Josué, et dirent: On avait rapporté à tes serviteurs les ordres de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, à Moïse, son serviteur, pour vous livrer tout le pays et pour en détruire devant vous tous les habitants, et votre présence nous a inspiré une grande crainte pour notre vie: voilà pourquoi nous avons agi de la sorte.
    
25. Et maintenant nous voici entre tes mains; traite-nous comme tu trouveras bon et juste de nous traiter.
    

21. They continued, "Let them live, but let them be woodcutters and water carriers for the entire community." So the leaders' promise to them was kept.
    
22. Then Joshua summoned the Gibeonites and said, "Why did you deceive us by saying, 'We live a long way from you,' while actually you live near us?
    
23. You are now under a curse: You will never cease to serve as woodcutters and water carriers for the house of my God."
    
24. They answered Joshua, "Your servants were clearly told how the LORD your God had commanded his servant Moses to give you the whole land and to wipe out all its inhabitants from before you. So we feared for our lives because of you, and that is why we did this.
    
25. We are now in your hands. Do to us whatever seems good and right to you."
    

26. 여호수아가 곧 그대로 그들에게 行(행)하여 그들을 이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 손에서 건져서 죽이지 못하게 하니라
    
27. 그 날에 여호수아가 그들로 ^ㅗ여호와의 擇(택)하신 곳에서 會衆(회중)을 爲(위)하며 여호와의 壇(단)을 爲(위)하여 ^ㅛ나무 패며 물 긷는 者(자)를 삼았더니 오늘까지 이르니라
    

26. Josué agit à leur égard comme il avait été décidé; il les délivra de la main des enfants d'Israël, qui ne les firent pas mourir;
    
27. mais il les destina dès ce jour à couper le bois et à puiser l'eau pour l'assemblée, et pour l'autel de l'Éternel dans le lieu que l'Éternel choisirait: ce qu'ils font encore aujourd'hui.
    

26. So Joshua saved them from the Israelites, and they did not kill them.
    
27. That day he made the Gibeonites woodcutters and water carriers for the community and for the altar of the LORD at the place the LORD would choose. And that is what they are to this day.
