1. ^ㅗ南方(남방)에 居(거)하는 ^ㅛ가나안 사람 곧 아랏의 王(왕)이 이스라엘이 ^ㅜ아다림 길로 온다 함을 듣고 이스라엘을 쳐서 그 中(중) 몇 사람을 사로잡은
   
2. ^ㅠ이스라엘이 여호와께 誓願(서원)하여 가로되 主(주)께서 萬一(만일) 이 百姓(백성)을 내 손에 붙이시면 내가 그들의 城邑(성읍)을 다 滅(멸)하리이다
   
3. 여호와께서 이스라엘의 소리를 들으시고 가나안 사람을 붙이시매 그들과 그 城邑(성읍)을 다 滅(멸)하니라 그러므로 그곳 이름을 ^으호르마라 하였더라
   
4. ^이百姓(백성)이 호르山(산)에서 進行(진행)하여 紅海(홍해) 길로 좇아 ^ㅐ에돔 땅을 둘러 行(행)하려 하였다가 길로 因(인)하여 百姓(백성)의 마음이 ^ㄱ傷(상)하니라
   
5. 百姓(백성)이 ^ㄴ하나님과 모세를 向(향)하여 怨望(원망)하되 ^ㄷ어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 引導(인도)하여 올려서 이 曠野(광야)에서 죽게 하는고 이곳에는 植物(식물)도 없고, 물도 없도다 ^ㄹ우리 마음이 이 薄(박)한 植物(식물)을 싫어 하노라하매
   

1. Le roi d'Arad, Cananéen, qui habitait le midi, apprit qu'Israël venait par le chemin d'Atharim. Il combattit Israël, et emmena des prisonniers.
   
2. Alors Israël fit un voeu à l'Éternel, et dit: Si tu livres ce peuple entre mes mains, je dévouerai ses villes par interdit.
   
3. L'Éternel entendit la voix d'Israël, et livra les Cananéens. On les dévoua par interdit, eux et leurs villes; et l'on nomma ce lieu Horma.
   
4. Ils partirent de la montagne de Hor par le chemin de la mer Rouge, pour contourner le pays d'Édom. Le peuple s'impatienta en route,
   
5. et parla contre Dieu et contre Moïse: Pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour que nous mourions dans le désert? car il n'y a point de pain, et il n'y a point d'eau, et notre âme est dégoûtée de cette misérable nourriture.
   

1. When the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev, heard that Israel was coming along the road to Atharim, he attacked the Israelites and captured some of them.
   
2. Then Israel made this vow to the LORD: "If you will deliver these people into our hands, we will totally destroy their cities."
   
3. The LORD listened to Israel's plea and gave the Canaanites over to them. They completely destroyed them and their towns; so the place was named Hormah.
   
4. They traveled from Mount Hor along the route to the Red Sea, to go around Edom. But the people grew impatient on the way;
   
5. they spoke against God and against Moses, and said, "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the desert? There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!"
   

6. ^ㅁ여호와께서 불뱀들을 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 보내어 ^ㅂ百姓(백성)을 물게 하시므로 이스라엘 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 죽은 者(자)가 많은지라
   
7. ^ㅅ百姓(백성)이 모세에게 이르러 가로되 우리가 여호와와 當身(당신)을 向(향)하여 怨望(원망)하므로 犯罪(범죄)하였사오니 ^ㅇ여호와께 祈禱(기도)하여 이 뱀들을 우리에게서 떠나게 하소서 모세가 百姓(백성)을 爲(위)하여 祈禱(기도)하매
   
8. 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 불뱀을 만들어 장대 위에 달라 물린 者(자)마다 그것을 보면 살리라
   
9. ^ㅈ모세가 놋뱀을 만들어 장대 위에 다니 뱀에게 물린 者(자)마다 놋뱀을 쳐다 본즉 살더라
   
10. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 進行(진행)하여 ^ㅊ오봇에 陣(진) 쳤고
    

6. Alors l'Éternel envoya contre le peuple des serpents brûlants; ils mordirent le peuple, et il mourut beaucoup de gens en Israël.
   
7. Le peuple vint à Moïse, et dit: Nous avons péché, car nous avons parlé contre l'Éternel et contre toi. Prie l'Éternel, afin qu'il éloigne de nous ces serpents. Moïse pria pour le peuple.
   
8. L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Fais-toi un serpent brûlant, et place-le sur une perche; quiconque aura été mordu, et le regardera, conservera la vie.
   
9. Moïse fit un serpent d'airain, et le plaça sur une perche; et quiconque avait été mordu par un serpent, et regardait le serpent d'airain, conservait la vie.
   
10. Les enfants d'Israël partirent, et ils campèrent à Oboth.
    

6. Then the LORD sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died.
   
7. The people came to Moses and said, "We sinned when we spoke against the LORD and against you. Pray that the LORD will take the snakes away from us." So Moses prayed for the people.
   
8. The LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live."
   
9. So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, he lived.
   
10. The Israelites moved on and camped at Oboth.
    

11. ^ㅋ오봇에서 進行(진행)하여 모압 앞 해 돋는 便(편) 曠野(광야) 이예아바림에 陣(진) 쳤고
    
12. 거기서 進行(진행)하여 ^ㅌ세렛 골짜기에 陣(진) 쳤고
    
13. 거기서 進行(진행)하여 아모리人(인)의 地境(지경)에서 흘러 나와서 曠野(광야)에 이른 아르논 건너便(편)에 陣(진)쳤으니 ^ㅍ아르논은 모압과 아모리 사이에서 모압의 境界(경계)가 된 것이라
    
14. 이러므로 여호와의 戰爭記(전쟁기)에 일렀으되 수바의 와헙과 아르논 골짜기와
    
15. 모든 골짜기의 비탈은 ^ㅎ아르 고을을 向(향)하여 기울어지고 모압의 境界(경계)에 닿았도다 하였더라
    

11. Ils partirent d'Oboth et ils campèrent à Ijjé Abarim, dans le désert qui est vis-à-vis de Moab, vers le soleil levant.
    
12. De là ils partirent, et ils campèrent dans la vallée de Zéred.
    
13. De là ils partirent, et ils campèrent de l'autre côté de l'Arnon, qui coule dans le désert en sortant du territoire des Amoréens; car l'Arnon est la frontière de Moab, entre Moab et les Amoréens.
    
14. C'est pourquoi il est dit dans le livre des Guerres de l'Éternel: ...Vaheb en Supha, et les torrents de l'Arnon,
    
15. et le cours des torrents, qui s'étend du côté d'Ar et touche à la frontière de Moab.
    

11. Then they set out from Oboth and camped in Iye Abarim, in the desert that faces Moab toward the sunrise.
    
12. From there they moved on and camped in the Zered Valley.
    
13. They set out from there and camped alongside the Arnon, which is in the desert extending into Amorite territory. The Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.
    
14. That is why the Book of the Wars of the LORD says: ". . . Waheb in Suphah and the ravines, the Arnon
    
15. and the slopes of the ravines that lead to the site of Ar and lie along the border of Moab."
    

16. 거기서 ^ㅏ브엘에 이르니 브엘은 여호와께서 모세에게 命(명)하시기를 百姓(백성)을 모으라 ^ㅑ내가 그들에게 물을 주리라 하시던 우물이라
    
17. 그 때에 이스라엘이 노래하여 가로되 우물물아 솟아나라 너희는 그것을 노래하라
    
18. 이 우물은 族長(족장)들이 팠고 百姓(백성)의 貴人(귀인)들이 ^ㅓ笏(홀)과 지팡이로 판 것이로다 하였더라 曠野(광야)에서 맛다나에 이르렀고
    
19. 맛다나에서 나할리엘에 이르렀고, 나할리엘에서 바못에 이르렀고
    
20. 바못에서 모압 들에 있는 골짜기에 이르러 ^ㅕ曠野(광야)가 내려다 보이는 ^ㅗ비스가山(산) 꼭대기에 이르렀더라
    

16. De là ils allèrent à Beer. C'est ce Beer, où l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Rassemble le peuple, et je leur donnerai de l'eau.
    
17. Alors Israël chanta ce cantique: Monte, puits! Chantez en son honneur!
    
18. Puits, que des princes ont creusé, Que les grands du peuple ont creusé, Avec le sceptre, avec leurs bâtons!
    
19. Du désert ils allèrent à Matthana; de Matthana, à Nahaliel; de Nahaliel, à Bamoth;
    
20. de Bamoth, à la vallée qui est dans le territoire de Moab, au sommet du Pisga, en regard du désert.
    

16. From there they continued on to Beer, the well where the LORD said to Moses, "Gather the people together and I will give them water."
    
17. Then Israel sang this song: "Spring up, O well! Sing about it,
    
18. about the well that the princes dug, that the nobles of the people sank--the nobles with scepters and staffs." Then they went from the desert to Mattanah,
    
19. from Mattanah to Nahaliel, from Nahaliel to Bamoth,
    
20. and from Bamoth to the valley in Moab where the top of Pisgah overlooks the wasteland.
    

21. ^ㅛ이스라엘이 아모리 王(왕) 시혼에게 使者(사자)를 보내어 가로되
    
22. ^ㅜ우리로 當身(당신)의 땅을 通過(통과)하게 하소서 우리가 밭에든지 葡萄園(포도원)에든지 들어가지 아니하며 우물물도 空(공)히 마시지 아니하고 우리가 當身(당신)의 地境(지경)에서 다 나가기까지 王(왕)의 大路(대로)로만 通行(통행)하리이다하나
    
23. ^ㅠ시혼이 自己(자기) 地境(지경)으로 이스라엘의 通過(통과)함을 容納(용납)하지 아니하고 그 百姓(백성)을 다 모아 이스라엘을 치러 曠野(광야)로 나와서 ^으야하스에 이르러 이스라엘을 치므로
    
24. ^이이스라엘이 칼날로 그들을 쳐서 破(파)하고 그 땅을 아르논부터 ^ㅐ얍복까지 占領(점령)하여 암몬 子孫(자손)에게까지 미치니 암몬 子孫(자손)의 境界(경계)는 堅固(견고)하더라
    
25. 이스라엘이 이같이 그 모든 城邑(성읍)을 取(취)하고 그 아모리人(인)의 모든 城邑(성읍)을 取(취)하고 그 아모리人(인)의 모든 城邑(성읍) 헤스본과 그 ^ㄱ모든 村落(촌락)에 居(거)하였으니
    

21. Israël envoya des messagers à Sihon, roi des Amoréens, pour lui dire:
    
22. Laisse-moi passer par ton pays; nous n'entrerons ni dans les champs, ni dans les vignes, et nous ne boirons pas l'eau des puits; nous suivrons la route royale, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons franchi ton territoire.
    
23. Sihon n'accorda point à Israël le passage sur son territoire; il rassembla tout son peuple, et sortit à la rencontre d'Israël, dans le désert; il vint à Jahats, et combattit Israël.
    
24. Israël le frappa du tranchant de l'épée et s'empara de son pays depuis l'Arnon jusqu'au Jabbok, jusqu'à la frontière des enfants d'Ammon; car la frontière des enfants d'Ammon était fortifiée.
    
25. Israël prit toutes les villes, et s'établit dans toutes les villes des Amoréens, à Hesbon et dans toutes les villes de son ressort.
    

21. Israel sent messengers to say to Sihon king of the Amorites:
    
22. "Let us pass through your country. We will not turn aside into any field or vineyard, or drink water from any well. We will travel along the king's highway until we have passed through your territory."
    
23. But Sihon would not let Israel pass through his territory. He mustered his entire army and marched out into the desert against Israel. When he reached Jahaz, he fought with Israel.
    
24. Israel, however, put him to the sword and took over his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, but only as far as the Ammonites, because their border was fortified.
    
25. Israel captured all the cities of the Amorites and occupied them, including Heshbon and all its surrounding settlements.
    

26. 헤스본은 아모리人(인)의 王(왕) 시혼의 都城(도성)이라 시혼이 모압 前王(전왕)을 치고 그 모든 땅을 아르논까지 그 손에서 奪取(탈취)하였었더라
    
27. 그러므로 ^ㄴ詩人(시인)이 읊어 가로되 너희는 ^ㄷ헤스본으로 올지어다 시혼의 城(성)을 세워 堅固(견고)히 할지어다
    
28. ^ㄹ헤스본에서 불이 나오며 시혼의 城(성)에서 火焰(화염)이 나와서 ^ㅁ모압의 아르를 삼키며 아르논 높은 곳의 主人(주인)을 滅(멸)하였도다
    
29. 모압아, 네가 禍(화)를 當(당)하였도다 ^ㅂ그모스의 百姓(백성)아, 네가 滅亡(멸망)하였도다 그가 그 아들들로 逃亡(도망)케 하였고 그 딸들로 아모리人(인)의 王(왕) 시혼의 捕虜(포로)가 되게 하였도다
    
30. 우리가 그들을 쏘아서 헤스본을 ^ㅅ디본까지 滅(멸)하였고 ^ㅇ메드바에 가까운 노바까지 荒廢(황폐)케 하였도다 하였더라
    

26. Car Hesbon était la ville de Sihon, roi des Amoréens; il avait fait la guerre au précédent roi de Moab, et lui avait enlevé tout son pays jusqu'à l'Arnon.
    
27. C'est pourquoi les poètes disent: Venez à Hesbon! Que la ville de Sihon soit rebâtie et fortifiée!
    
28. Car il est sorti un feu de Hesbon, Une flamme de la ville de Sihon; Elle a dévoré Ar Moab, Les habitants des hauteurs de l'Arnon.
    
29. Malheur à toi, Moab! Tu es perdu, peuple de Kemosch! Il a fait de ses fils des fuyards, Et il a livré ses filles captives A Sihon, roi des Amoréens.
    
30. Nous avons lancé sur eux nos traits: De Hesbon à Dibon tout est détruit; Nous avons étendu nos ravages jusqu'à Nophach, Jusqu'à Médeba.
    

26. Heshbon was the city of Sihon king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab and had taken from him all his land as far as the Arnon.
    
27. That is why the poets say: "Come to Heshbon and let it be rebuilt; let Sihon's city be restored.
    
28. "Fire went out from Heshbon, a blaze from the city of Sihon. It consumed Ar of Moab, the citizens of Arnon's heights.
    
29. Woe to you, O Moab! You are destroyed, O people of Chemosh! He has given up his sons as fugitives and his daughters as captives to Sihon king of the Amorites.
    
30. "But we have overthrown them; Heshbon is destroyed all the way to Dibon. We have demolished them as far as Nophah, which extends to Medeba."
    

31. 이스라엘이 아모리人(인)의 땅에 居(거)하였더니
    
32. 모세가 또 보내어 ^ㅈ야셀을 偵探(정탐)케 하고 그 村落(촌락)들을 取(취)하고 그곳에 있던 아모리人(인)을 몰아 내었더라
    
33. 돌이켜 바산 길로 올라가매 바산 王(왕) 옥이 그 百姓(백성)을 다 거느리고 나와서 그들을 맞아 ^ㅊ에드레이에서 싸우려 하는지라
    
34. ^ㅋ여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 그를 두려워 말라 내가 그와 그 百姓(백성)과 그 땅을 네 손에 붙였나니 ^ㅌ너는 헤스본에 居(거)하던 아모리人(인)의 王(왕) 시혼에게 行(행)한 것같이 그에게도 行(행)할지니라
    
35. 이에 그와 그 아들들과 그 百姓(백성)을 다 쳐서 한 사람도 남기지 아니하고 그 땅을 占領(점령)하였더라
    

31. Israël s'établit dans le pays des Amoréens.
    
32. Moïse envoya reconnaître Jaezer; et ils prirent les villes de son ressort, et chassèrent les Amoréens qui y étaient.
    
33. Ils changèrent ensuite de direction, et montèrent par le chemin de Basan. Og, roi de Basan, sortit à leur rencontre, avec tout son peuple, pour les combattre à Édréi.
    
34. L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Ne le crains point; car je le livre entre tes mains, lui et tout son peuple, et son pays; tu le traiteras comme tu as traité Sihon, roi des Amoréens, qui habitait à Hesbon.
    
35. Et ils le battirent, lui et ses fils, et tout son peuple, sans en laisser échapper un seul, et ils s'emparèrent de son pays.
    

31. So Israel settled in the land of the Amorites.
    
32. After Moses had sent spies to Jazer, the Israelites captured its surrounding settlements and drove out the Amorites who were there.
    
33. Then they turned and went up along the road toward Bashan, and Og king of Bashan and his whole army marched out to meet them in battle at Edrei.
    
34. The LORD said to Moses, "Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you, with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon."
    
35. So they struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army, leaving them no survivors. And they took possession of his land.
