Wenn ihr "kommt," werdet ihr zu einem sichern Volke "kommen," und das Land ist weit und breit; denn Gott hat's in eure Hände "gegeben," einen solchen "Ort," da nichts gebricht an alle "dem," was auf Erden ist.

The priest answered them, "Go in peace. Your journey has the LORD'S approval."

So the five men left and came to Laish, where they saw that the people were living in safety, like the Sidonians, unsuspecting and secure. And since their land lacked nothing, they were prosperous. Also, they lived a long way from the Sidonians and had no relationship with any?˶ ?˶ 纐ɓ 呀ˤ ?˶ ?˶ 䀀 ?˶ hen they returned to Zorah and Eshtaol, their brothers asked them, "How did you find things?"

They answered, "Come on, let's attack them! We have seen that the land is very good. Aren't you going to do something? Don't hesitate to go there and take it over.

When you get there, you will find an unsuspecting people and a spacious land that God has put into your hands, a land that lacks nothing whatever."

단 支派(지파) 家族(가족) 中(중) 六百名(육백명)이 ^ㄷ兵器(병기)를 띠고 소라와 에스다올에서 出發(출발)하여

올라가서 ^ㄹ유다 기럇여아림에 陣(진) 치니 이러므로 그곳 이름이 오늘까지 ^ㅁ마하네단이며 그곳은 기럇여아림 뒤에 있더라

무리가 거기서 떠나서 ^ㅂ에브라임 山地(산지) 미가의 집에 이르니라

前(전)에 라이스 땅을 探知(탐지)하러 갔던 다섯 사람이 그 兄弟(형제)들에게 말하여 가로되 ^ㅅ이 집에 에봇과 드라빔과 새긴 神像(신상)과 부어만든 神像(신상)이 있는 줄을 너희가 아느냐 그런즉 이제 너희는 마땅히 行(행)할 것을 생각하라 하고

다섯 사람이 그 便(편)으로 向(향)하여 少年(소년) 레위 사람의 집 곧 미가의 집에 이르러 ^ㅇ問安(문안)하고

Da zogen von da aus den Geschlechtern Dan von Zora und Esthaol sechshundert "Mann," gerüstet mit ihren Waffen zum "Streit,"

und zogen hinauf und lagerten sich zu Kirjath-Jearim in Juda. Daher nannten sie die Stätte das Lager Dan bis auf diesen "Tag," das hinter Kirjath-Jearim liegt. {~}

Und von da gingen sie auf das Gebirge Ephraim und kamen zum Hause Michas.

Da antworteten die fünf "Männer," die ausgegangen "waren," das Land Lais zu "erkunden," und sprachen zu ihren Brüdern: Wißt ihr "auch," daß in diesen Häusern ein "Leibrock," "Hausgötzen," Bildnis und Abgott sind? Nun möget ihr "denken," was euch zu tun ist.

Sie kehrten da ein und kamen an das Haus des "Jünglings," des "Leviten," in Michas Haus und grüßten ihn freundlich.

Then six hundred men from the clan of the Danites, armed for battle, set out from Zorah and Eshtaol.

On their way they set up camp near Kiriath Jearim in Judah. This is why the place west of Kiriath Jearim is called Mahaneh Dan to this day.

From there they went on to the hill country of Ephraim and came to Micah's house.

Then the five men who had spied out the land of Laish said to their brothers, "Do you know that one of these houses has an ephod, other household gods, a carved image and a cast idol? Now you know what to do."

So they turned in there and went to the house of the young Levite at Micah's place and greeted him.

단 子孫(자손) 六百名(육백명)은 ^ㅈ兵器(병기)를 띠고 門(문) 入口(입구)에 서니라

^ㅊ땅을 探知(탐지)하러 갔던 다섯 사람이 그리로 들어가서 ^ㅋ새긴 神像(신상)과 에봇과 드라빔과 부어 만든 神像(신상)을 取(취)할 때에 祭司長(제사장)은 兵器(병기)를 六百名(육백명)과 함께 門(문) 入口(입구)에 섰더니

그 다섯 사람이 미가의 집에 들어가서 그 새긴 神像(신상)과 에봇과 드라빔과 부어 만든 神像(신상)을 取(취)하여 내매 祭司長(제사장)이 그들에게 묻되 너희가 무엇을 하느냐

그들이 그에게 이르되 潛潛(잠잠)하라 ^ㅌ네 손을 입에 대라 우리와 함께 가서 ^ㅍ우리의 아비와 祭司長(제사장)이 되라 네가 한 사람의 집의 祭司長(제사장)이 되는 것과 이스라엘 한 支派(지파), 한 家族(가족)의 祭司長(제사장)이 되는 것이 어느 것이 낫겠느냐

祭司長(제사장)이 마음에 기뻐하여 에봇과 드라빔과 새긴 偶像(우상)을 取(취)하고 그 百姓(백성) 中(중)으로 들어가니라

Aber die sechshundert Gerüsteten mit ihren "Waffen," die von den Kindern Dan "waren," standen vor dem Tor.

Und die fünf "Männer," die das Land zu erkunden ausgezogen "waren," gingen hinauf und kamen dahin und nahmen das "Bild," den "Leibrock," die Hausgötzen und den Abgott. Dieweil stand der Priester vor dem Tor bei den sechshundert Gerüsteten mit ihren Waffen.

Als nun jene ins Haus Michas gekommen waren und nahmen das "Bild," den "Leibrock," die Hausgötzen und den "Abgott," sprach der Priester zu ihnen: Was macht ihr?

Sie antworteten ihm: Schweige und halte das Maul zu und ziehe mit "uns," daß du unser Vater und Priester seist. Ist dir's "besser," daß du in des einen Mannes Haus Priester seist oder unter derer einem ganzen Stamm und Geschlecht in Israel?

Das gefiel dem Priester "wohl," und er nahm den "Leibrock," die Hausgötzen und das Bild und kam mit unter das Volk.

The six hundred Danites, armed for battle, stood at the entrance to the gate.

The five men who had spied out the land went inside and took the carved image, the ephod, the other household gods and the cast idol while the priest and the six hundred armed men stood at the entrance to the gate.

When these men went into Micah's house and took the carved image, the ephod, the other household gods and the cast idol, the priest said to them, "What are you doing?"

They answered him, "Be quiet! Don't say a word. Come with us, and be our father and priest. Isn't it better that you serve a tribe and clan in Israel as priest rather than just one man's household?"

Then the priest was glad. He took the ephod, the other household gods and the carved image and went along with the people.

그들이 돌이켜서 어린 아이들과 家畜(가축)과 ^ㅎ物品(물품)을 앞에 두고 進行(진행)하더니

미가의 집을 멀리 떠난 때에 미가의 이웃집 사람들이 모여서 단 子孫(자손)을 따라 미쳐서는

단 子孫(자손)을 부르는지라 그들이 낯을 돌이켜 미가에게 이르되 네가 무슨 일로 이같이 모아가지고 왔느냐

미가가 가로되 ^ㅏ나의 지은 神(신)들과 祭司長(제사장)을 取(취)하여 갔으니 내게 오히려 있는 것이 무엇이냐 너희가 어찌하여 나더러 무슨 일이냐 하느냐

단 子孫(자손)이 그에게 이르되 네 목소리를 우리에게 들리게 말라 ^ㅑ怒(노)한 者(자)들이 너희를 쳐서 네 生命(생명)과 네 家族(가족)의 生命(생명)을 잃게 할까 하노라 하고

Und da sie sich wandten und "hinzogen," schickten sie die Kindlein und das Vieh und was sie Köstliches "hatten," vor sich her.

Da sie nun fern von Michas Haus "kamen," wurden die Männer zuhauf "gerufen," die in den Häusern waren bei Michas "Haus," und folgten den Kindern Dan nach und riefen den Kindern Dan.

Sie aber wandten ihr Antlitz um und sprachen zu Micha: was ist "dir," daß du also zuhauf kommst?

Er antwortete: Ihr habt meine Götter "genommen," die ich gemacht "hatte," und den Priester und ziehet hin; und was habe ich nun mehr? Und ihr fragt "noch," was mir fehle?

Aber die Kinder Dan sprachen zu ihm: Laß deine Stimme nicht hören bei "uns," daß nicht auf dich stoßen zornige Leute und deine Seele und deines Hauses Seele nicht hingerafft werde!

Putting their little children, their livestock and their possessions in front of them, they turned away and left.

When they had gone some distance from Micah's house, the men who lived near Micah were called together and overtook the Danites.

As they shouted after them, the Danites turned and said to Micah, "What's the matter with you that you called out your men to fight?"

He replied, "You took the gods I made, and my priest, and went away. What else do I have? How can you ask, 'What's the matter with you?'"

The Danites answered, "Don't argue with us, or some hot-tempered men will attack you, and you and your family will lose your lives."

단 子孫(자손)이 自己(자기) 길을 行(행)한지라 미가가 단 子孫(자손)이 自己(자기)보다 强(강)한 것을 보고 돌이켜 집으로 돌아갔더라

단 子孫(자손)이 미가의 지은 것과 그 祭司長(제사장)을 取(취)하고 라이스에 이르러 ^ㅓ閑暇(한가)하고 平安(평안)한 百姓(백성)을 만나 ^ㅕ칼날로 그들을 치며 불로 그 城邑(성읍)을 사르되

그들을 救援(구원)할 者(자)가 없었으니 그 城邑(성읍)이 ^ㅗ베드르홉 가까운 골짜기에 있어서 시돈과 相距(상거)가 ^ㅛ멀고 相從(상종)하는 사람도 없음이었더라 단 子孫(자손)이 城邑(성읍)을 重建(중건)하고 거기 居(거)하며

이스라엘의 所生(소생) 그 祖上(조상) 단의 이름을 따라 그 城邑(성읍)을 ^ㅜ단이라 하니라 ^ㅠ그 城邑(성읍)의 本(본) 이름은 라이스더라

단 子孫(자손)이 自己(자기)를 爲(위)하여 그 새긴 神像(신상)을 세웠고 ^으모세의 孫子(손자) 게르손의 아들 요나단과 ^이그 子孫(자손)은 단 支派(지파)의 祭司長(제사장)이 되어 ^ㅐ이 百姓(백성)이 사로 잡히는 날까지 이르렀더라

Also gingen die Kinder Dan ihres Weges. Und "Micha," da er "sah," daß sie ihm zu stark "waren," wandte er sich um und kam wieder zu seinem Hause.

Sie aber "nahmen," was Micha gemacht "hatte," und den "Priester," den er "hatte," und kamen an "Lais," an ein "stilles," sicheres "Volk," und schlugen es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und verbrannten die Stadt mit Feuer.

Und war "niemand," der sie errettete; denn sie lag fern von "Sidon," und sie hatten mit den Leuten nichts zu schaffen; und sie lag im "Grunde," welcher an Beth-Rehob liegt. Da bauten sie die Stadt und wohnten darin

und nannten sie Dan nach dem Namen ihres Vaters "Dan," der Israel geboren war. (Und die Stadt hieß vorzeiten Lais.)

Und die Kinder Dan richteten für sich auf das Bild. Und "Jonathan," der Sohn "Gersons," des Sohnes "Manasses," und seine Söhne waren Priester unter dem Stamm der Daniter bis an die "Zeit," da sie aus dem Lande gefangen geführt wurden.

So the Danites went their way, and Micah, seeing that they were too strong for him, turned around and went back home.

Then they took what Micah had made, and his priest, and went on to Laish, against a peaceful and unsuspecting people. They attacked them with the sword and burned down their city.

There was no one to rescue them because they lived a long way from Sidon and had no relationship with anyone else. The city was in a valley near Beth Rehob. The Danites rebuilt the city and settled there.

They named it Dan after their forefather Dan, who was born to Israel--though the city used to be called Laish.

There the Danites set up for themselves the idols, and Jonathan son of Gershom, the son of Moses, and his sons were priests for the tribe of Dan until the time of the captivity of the land.

^ㄱ하나님의 집이 실로에 있을 동안에 미가의 지은 바 새긴 神像(신상)이 단 子孫(자손)에게 있었더라

Also setzten sie unter sich das Bild "Michas," das er gemacht "hatte," so "lange," als das Haus Gottes war zu Silo.

They continued to use the idols Micah had made, all the time the house of God was in Shiloh.
