1. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
   
2. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 ^ㅊ怨讐(원수)를 미디안에게 갚으라 그 後(후)에 ^ㅋ네가 네 祖上(조상)에게로 돌아가리라
   
3. 모세가 百姓(백성)에게 일러 가로되 너희 中(중)에서 사람을 擇(택)하여 싸움에 나갈 準備(준비)를 시키고 미디안을 치러 보내어서 여호와의 怨讐(원수)를 미디안에게 갚되
   
4. 이스라엘 모든 支派(지파)에 對(대)하여 各(각) 支派(지파)에서 一千人(일천인)씩을 싸움에 보낼지니라 하매
   
5. 每(매) 支派(지파)에서 一千人(일천인)씩 이스라엘 千萬人(천만인) 中(중)에서 一萬(일만) 二千人(이천인)을 擇(택)하여 ^ㅌ武裝(무장)을 시킨지라
   

1. L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:
   
2. Venge les enfants d'Israël sur les Madianites; tu seras ensuite recueilli auprès de ton peuple.
   
3. Moïse parla au peuple, et dit: Équipez d'entre vous des hommes pour l'armée, et qu'ils marchent contre Madian, afin d'exécuter la vengeance de l'Éternel sur Madian.
   
4. Vous enverrez à l'armée mille hommes par tribu, de toutes les tribus d'Israël.
   
5. On leva d'entre les milliers d'Israël mille hommes par tribu, soit douze mille hommes équipés pour l'armée.
   

1. The LORD said to Moses,
   
2. "Take vengeance on the Midianites for the Israelites. After that, you will be gathered to your people."
   
3. So Moses said to the people, "Arm some of your men to go to war against the Midianites and to carry out the LORD'S vengeance on them.
   
4. Send into battle a thousand men from each of the tribes of Israel."
   
5. So twelve thousand men armed for battle, a thousand from each tribe, were supplied from the clans of Israel.
   

6. 모세가 每(매) 支派(지파)에 一千人(일천인)씩 싸움에 보내되 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스에게 聖所(성소)의 器具(기구)와 ^ㅍ信號(신호) 나팔을 들려서 그들과 함께 싸움에 보내매
   
7. 그들이 여호와께서 모세에게 命(명)하신 대로 미디안을 쳐서 그 ^ㅎ男子(남자)를 다 죽였고
   
8. 그 죽인 者(자) 外(외)에 미디안의 다섯 王(왕)을 죽였으니 미디안의 王(왕)들은 ^ㅏ에위와 레겜과 ^ㅑ수르와 후르와 레바이며 또 브올의 아들 ^ㅓ발람을 칼로 죽였더라
   
9. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 미디안의 婦女(부녀)들과 그 아이들을 사로잡고 그 家畜(가축)과 羊(양)떼와 財物(재물)을 다 奪取(탈취)하고
   
10. 그 居處(거처)하는 城邑(성읍)들과 ^ㅕ村落(촌락)을 다 불사르고
    

6. Moïse envoya à l'armée ces mille hommes par tribu, et avec eux le fils du sacrificateur Éléazar, Phinées, qui portait les instruments sacrés et les trompettes retentissantes.
   
7. Ils s'avancèrent contre Madian, selon l'ordre que l'Éternel avait donné à Moïse; et ils tuèrent tous les mâles.
   
8. Ils tuèrent les rois de Madian avec tous les autres, Évi, Rékem, Tsur, Hur et Réba, cinq rois de Madian; ils tuèrent aussi par l'épée Balaam, fils de Beor.
   
9. Les enfants d'Israël firent prisonnières les femmes des Madianites avec leurs petits enfants, et ils pillèrent tout leur bétail, tous leurs troupeaux et toutes leurs richesses.
   
10. Ils incendièrent toutes les villes qu'ils habitaient et tous leurs enclos.
    

6. Moses sent them into battle, a thousand from each tribe, along with Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, who took with him articles from the sanctuary and the trumpets for signaling.
   
7. They fought against Midian, as the LORD commanded Moses, and killed every man.
   
8. Among their victims were Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur and Reba--the five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword.
   
9. The Israelites captured the Midianite women and children and took all the Midianite herds, flocks and goods as plunder.
   
10. They burned all the towns where the Midianites had settled, as well as all their camps.
    

11. ^ㅗ奪取(탈취)한 것, 擄略(노략)한 것, 사람과, 짐승을 다 取(취)하니라
    
12. 그들이 사로잡은 者(자)와 擄略(노략)한 것과 奪取(탈취)한 것을 가지고 여리고 맞은便(편) 요단 가 ^ㅛ모압 平地(평지)의 陣(진)에 이르러 모세와 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살과 이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 會衆(회중)에게로 나아오니라
    
13. 모세와 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살과 會衆(회중)의 族長(족장)들이 다 陣(진) 밖에 나가서 迎接(영접)하다가
    
14. 모세가 ^ㅜ軍隊(군대)의 長官(장관) 곧 싸움에서 돌아온 千夫長(천부장)들과 百夫長(백부장)들에게 怒(노)하니라
    
15. 모세가 그들에게 이르되 너희가 ^ㅠ女子(녀자)들을 다 살려두었느냐
    

11. Ils prirent toutes les dépouilles et tout le butin, personnes et bestiaux;
    
12. et ils amenèrent les captifs, le butin et les dépouilles, à Moïse, au sacrificateur Éléazar, et à l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël, campés dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho.
    
13. Moïse, le sacrificateur Éléazar, et tous les princes de l'assemblée, sortirent au-devant d'eux, hors du camp.
    
14. Et Moïse s'irrita contre les commandants de l'armée, les chefs de milliers et les chefs de centaines, qui revenaient de l'expédition.
    
15. Il leur dit: Avez-vous laissé la vie à toutes les femmes?
    

11. They took all the plunder and spoils, including the people and animals,
    
12. and brought the captives, spoils and plunder to Moses and Eleazar the priest and the Israelite assembly at their camp on the plains of Moab, by the Jordan across from Jericho.
    
13. Moses, Eleazar the priest and all the leaders of the community went to meet them outside the camp.
    
14. Moses was angry with the officers of the army--the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds--who returned from the battle.
    
15. "Have you allowed all the women to live?" he asked them.
    

16. 보라, ^으이들이 ^이발람의 꾀를 좇아 이스라엘 子孫(자손)으로 ^ㅐ브올의 事件(사건)에 여호와 앞에 犯罪(범죄)케 하여 여호와의 會衆(회중)에 ^ㄱ染病(염병)이 일어나게 하였느니라
    
17. 그러므로 아이들 中(중)에 ^ㄴ男子(남자)는 다 죽이고 男子(남자)와 同寢(동침)하여 사내를 안 女子(녀자)는 다 죽이고
    
18. 男子(남자)와 同寢(동침)하지 아니하여 사내를 알지 못하는 女子(녀자)들은 다 ^ㄷ너희를 爲(위)하여 살려둘 것이니라
    
19. 너희는 ^ㄹ七日(칠일)동안 陣(진) 밖에 駐屯(주둔)하라 무릇 殺人者(살인자)나 죽임을 當(당)한 ^ㅁ屍體(시체)를 만진 者(자)나 第(제) 三日(삼일)과 第(제) 七日(칠일)에 몸을 깨끗케 하고 너희의 捕虜(포로)도 깨끗케 할 것이며
    
20. 무릇 衣服(의복)과 무릇 가죽으로 만든 것과 무릇 염소 털로 만든 것과 무릇 나무로 만든 것을 다 깨끗케 할지니라
    

16. Voici, ce sont elles qui, sur la parole de Balaam, ont entraîné les enfants d'Israël à l'infidélité envers l'Éternel, dans l'affaire de Peor; et alors éclata la plaie dans l'assemblée de l'Éternel.
    
17. Maintenant, tuez tout mâle parmi les petits enfants, et tuez toute femme qui a connu un homme en couchant avec lui;
    
18. mais laissez en vie pour vous toutes les filles qui n'ont point connu la couche d'un homme.
    
19. Et vous, campez pendant sept jours hors du camp; tous ceux d'entre vous qui ont tué quelqu'un, et tous ceux qui ont touché un mort, se purifieront le troisième et le septième jour, eux et vos prisonniers.
    
20. Vous purifierez aussi tout vêtement, tout objet de peau, tout ouvrage de poil de chèvre et tout ustensile de bois.
    

16. "They were the ones who followed Balaam's advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the LORD in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the LORD'S people.
    
17. Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man,
    
18. but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.
    
19. "All of you who have killed anyone or touched anyone who was killed must stay outside the camp seven days. On the third and seventh days you must purify yourselves and your captives.
    
20. Purify every garment as well as everything made of leather, goat hair or wood."
    

21. 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살이 싸움에 나갔던 軍人(군인)들에게 이르되 이는 여호와께서 모세에게 命(명)하신 法律(법률)이니라
    
22. 金(금),銀(은),銅(동),鐵(철)과 상납과 납의
    
23. 무릇 불에 견딜 만한 物件(물건)은 불을 지나게 하라 그리하면 깨끗하려니와 오히려 ^ㅂ淨潔(정결)케 하는 물로 그것을 깨끗케 할 것이며 무릇 불에 견디지 못할 모든 것은 물을 지나게 할 것이니라
    
24. 너희는 第(제) 七日(칠일)에 ^ㅅ옷을 빨아서 깨끗케 한 後(후)에 陣(진)에 들어 올지니라
    
25. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
    

21. Le sacrificateur Éléazar dit aux soldats qui étaient allés à la guerre: Voici ce qui est ordonné par la loi que l'Éternel a prescrite à Moïse.
    
22. L'or, l'argent, l'airain, le fer, l'étain et le plomb,
    
23. tout objet qui peut aller au feu, vous le ferez passer par le feu pour le rendre pur. Mais c'est par l'eau de purification que sera purifié tout ce qui ne peut aller au feu; vous le ferez passer dans l'eau.
    
24. Vous laverez vos vêtements le septième jour, et vous serez purs; ensuite, vous pourrez entrer dans le camp.
    
25. L'Éternel dit à Moïse:
    

21. Then Eleazar the priest said to the soldiers who had gone into battle, "This is the requirement of the law that the LORD gave Moses:
    
22. Gold, silver, bronze, iron, tin, lead
    
23. and anything else that can withstand fire must be put through the fire, and then it will be clean. But it must also be purified with the water of cleansing. And whatever cannot withstand fire must be put through that water.
    
24. On the seventh day wash your clothes and you will be clean. Then you may come into the camp."
    
25. The LORD said to Moses,
    

26. 너는 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살과 會衆(회중)의 族長(족장)들을 더불어 이 奪取(탈취)한 사람과 짐승을 計數(계수)하고
    
27. 그 얻은 物件(물건)을 ^ㅇ半分(반분)하여 그 折半(절반)은 싸움에 나갔던 軍人(군인)들에게 주고 折半(절반)은 會衆(회중)에게 주고
    
28. 싸움에 나갔던 軍人(군인)들로는 사람이나 소나 나귀나 羊(양)떼의 ^ㅈ五百分之(오백분지) 一(일)을 여호와께 드리게 하되
    
29. 곧 이를 그들의 折半(절반)에서 取(취)하여 여호와의 擧祭(거제)로 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살에게 주고
    
30. 또 이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 얻은 折半(절반)에서는 사람이나 소나 나귀나 羊(양)떼나 各種(각종) 짐승을 ^ㅊ五十分之(오십분지) 一(일)을 取(취)하여 ^ㅋ여호와의 聖幕(성막)을 맡은 레위人(인)에게 주라
    

26. Fais, avec le sacrificateur Éléazar et les chefs de maison de l'assemblée, le compte du butin, de ce qui a été pris, personnes et bestiaux.
    
27. Partage le butin entre les combattants qui sont allés à l'armée et toute l'assemblée.
    
28. Tu prélèveras sur la portion des soldats qui sont allés à l'armée un tribut pour l'Éternel, savoir: un sur cinq cents, tant des personnes que des boeufs, des ânes et des brebis.
    
29. Vous le prendrez sur leur moitié, et tu le donneras au sacrificateur Éléazar comme une offrande à l'Éternel.
    
30. Et sur la moitié qui revient aux enfants d'Israël tu prendras un sur cinquante, tant des personnes que des boeufs, des ânes et des brebis, de tout animal; et tu le donneras aux Lévites, qui ont la garde du tabernacle de l'Éternel.
    

26. "You and Eleazar the priest and the family heads of the community are to count all the people and animals that were captured.
    
27. Divide the spoils between the soldiers who took part in the battle and the rest of the community.
    
28. From the soldiers who fought in the battle, set apart as tribute for the LORD one out of every five hundred, whether persons, cattle, donkeys, sheep or goats.
    
29. Take this tribute from their half share and give it to Eleazar the priest as the LORD'S part.
    
30. From the Israelites' half, select one out of every fifty, whether persons, cattle, donkeys, sheep, goats or other animals. Give them to the Levites, who are responsible for the care of the LORD'S tabernacle."
    

31. 모세와 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살이 여호와께서 모세에게 命(명)하신 대로 하니라
    
32. 그 奪取物(탈취물) 곧 軍人(군인)들의 다른 奪取物(탈취물) 外(외)에 羊(양)이 六十(육십) 七萬(칠만) 五千(오천)이요
    
33. 소가 七萬(칠만) 二千(이천)이요
    
34. 나귀가 六萬(육만) 一千(일천)이요
    
35. 사람은 男子(남자)와 同寢(동침)하지 아니하여서 사내를 알지 못하는 女子(녀자)가 都合(도합) 三萬(삼만) 二千(이천)이니
    

31. Moïse et le sacrificateur Éléazar firent ce que l'Éternel avait ordonné à Moïse.
    
32. Le butin, reste du pillage de ceux qui avaient fait partie de l'armée, était de six cent soixante-quinze mille brebis,
    
33. soixante-douze mille boeufs,
    
34. soixante et un mille ânes,
    
35. et trente-deux mille personnes ou femmes qui n'avaient point connu la couche d'un homme. -
    

31. So Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Moses.
    
32. The plunder remaining from the spoils that the soldiers took was 675,000 sheep,
    
33. 72,000 cattle,
    
34. 61,000 donkeys
    
35. and 32,000 women who had never slept with a man.
    

36. 그 折半(절반) 곧 싸움에 나갔던 者(자)들의 所有(소유)가 羊(양)이 三十(삼십) 三萬(삼만) 七千(칠천) 五百(오백)이라
    
37. ^ㅌ여호와께 稅(세)로 드린 羊(양)이 六百(육백) 七十五(칠십오)요
    
38. 소가 三萬(삼만) 六千(육천)이라 그 中(중)에서 여호와께 稅(세)로 드린 것이 七十二頭(칠십이두)요
    
39. 나귀가 三萬(삼만) 五百(오백)이라 그 中(중)에서 여호와께 稅(세)로 드린 것이 六十一(육십일)이요
    
40. 사람이 一萬(일만) 六千(육천)이라 그 中(중)에서 여호와께 稅(세)로 드린 者(자)가 三十二名(삼십이명)이니
    

36. La moitié, formant la part de ceux qui étaient allés à l'armée, fut de trois cent trente-sept mille cinq cents brebis,
    
37. dont six cent soixante-quinze pour le tribut à l'Éternel;
    
38. trente-six mille boeufs, dont soixante-douze pour le tribut à l'Éternel;
    
39. trente mille cinq cents ânes, dont soixante et un pour le tribut à l'Éternel;
    
40. et seize mille personnes, dont trente-deux pour le tribut à l'Éternel.
    

36. The half share of those who fought in the battle was: 337,500 sheep,
    
37. of which the tribute for the LORD was 675;
    
38. 36,000 cattle, of which the tribute for the LORD was 72;
    
39. 30,500 donkeys, of which the tribute for the LORD was 61;
    
40. 16,000 people, of which the tribute for the LORD was 32.
    

41. ^ㅍ여호와께 擧祭(거제)의 稅(세)로 드린 것을 모세가 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살에게 주었으니 여호와께서 모세에게 命(명)하심과 같았더라
    
42. 모세가 싸움에 나갔던 者(자)에게서 나누어 取(취)하여 이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게 준 折半(절반)
    
43. 곧 會衆(회중)의 얻은 折半(절반)은 羊(양)이 三十(삼십) 三萬(삼만) 七千(칠천) 五百(오백)이요
    
44. 소가 三萬(삼만) 六千(육천)이요
    
45. 나귀가 三萬(삼만) 五百(오백)이요
    

41. Moïse donna au sacrificateur Éléazar le tribut réservé comme offrande à l'Éternel, selon ce que l'Éternel lui avait ordonné. -
    
42. La moitié qui revenait aux enfants d'Israël, séparée par Moïse de celle des hommes de l'armée,
    
43. et formant la part de l'assemblée, fut de trois cent trente-sept mille cinq cents brebis,
    
44. trente-six mille boeufs,
    
45. trente mille cinq cents ânes,
    

41. Moses gave the tribute to Eleazar the priest as the LORD'S part, as the LORD commanded Moses.
    
42. The half belonging to the Israelites, which Moses set apart from that of the fighting men--
    
43. the community's half--was 337,500 sheep,
    
44. 36,000 cattle,
    
45. 30,500 donkeys
    

46. 사람이 一萬(일만) 六千(육천)이라
    
47. ^ㅎ이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 그 折半(절반)에서 모세가 사람이나 짐승의 五十分之(오십분지) 一(일)을 取(취)하여 여호와의 帳幕(장막)을 맡은 레위人(인)에게 주었으니 여호와께서 모세에게 命(명)하심과 같았더라
    
48. ^ㅏ軍隊(군대)의 長官(장관)들 곧 千夫長(천부장)과 百夫長(백부장)들이 모세에게 나아와서
    
49. 그에게 告(고)하되 當身(당신)의 종들의 領率(영솔)한 軍人(군인)을 計數(계수)한즉 우리 中(중) 한 사람도 縮(축)나지 아니하였기로
    
50. 우리 各(각) 사람의 얻은 바 金(금) 佩物(패물) 곧 발목고리, 손목고리, 印章(인장) 斑指(반지), 귀고리, 팔고리들을 여호와의 禮物(예물)로 우리의 生命(생명)을 爲(위)하여 ^ㅑ여호와 앞에 贖罪(속죄)하려고 가져왔나이다
    

46. et seize mille personnes.
    
47. Sur cette moitié qui revenait aux enfants d'Israël, Moïse prit un sur cinquante, tant des personnes que des animaux; et il le donna aux Lévites, qui ont la garde du tabernacle de l'Éternel, selon ce que l'Éternel lui avait ordonné.
    
48. Les commandants des milliers de l'armée, les chefs de milliers et les chefs de centaines, s'approchèrent de Moïse,
    
49. et lui dirent: Tes serviteurs ont fait le compte des soldats qui étaient sous nos ordres, et il ne manque pas un homme d'entre nous.
    
50. Nous apportons, comme offrande à l'Éternel, chacun les objets d'or que nous avons trouvés, chaînettes, bracelets, anneaux, pendants d'oreilles, et colliers, afin de faire pour nos personnes l'expiation devant l'Éternel.
    

46. and 16,000 people.
    
47. From the Israelites' half, Moses selected one out of every fifty persons and animals, as the LORD commanded him, and gave them to the Levites, who were responsible for the care of the LORD'S tabernacle.
    
48. Then the officers who were over the units of the army--the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds--went to Moses
    
49. and said to him, "Your servants have counted the soldiers under our command, and not one is missing.
    
50. So we have brought as an offering to the LORD the gold articles each of us acquired--armlets, bracelets, signet rings, earrings and necklaces--to make atonement for ourselves before the LORD."
    

51. 모세와 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살이 그들에게서 그 金(금)으로 만든 모든 佩物(패물)을 取(취)한즉
    
52. 千夫長(천부장)과 百夫長(백부장)들이 여호와께 드린 擧祭(거제)의 金(금)의 都合(도합)이 一萬(일만) 六千(육천) 七百(칠백) 五十(오십) 세겔이니
    
53. ^ㅓ軍人(군인)들이 各其(각기) 自己(자기)를 爲(위)하여 奪取(탈취)한 것이라
    
54. 모세와 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살이 千夫長(천부장)과 百夫長(백부장)들에게서 金(금)을 取(취)하여 會幕(회막)에 드려서 ^ㅕ여호와 앞에 이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 記念(기념)을 삼았더라
    

51. Moïse et le sacrificateur Éléazar reçurent d'eux tous ces objets travaillés en or.
    
52. Tout l'or, que les chefs de milliers et les chefs de centaines présentèrent à l'Éternel en offrande par élévation, pesait seize mille sept cent cinquante sicles.
    
53. Les hommes de l'armée gardèrent chacun le butin qu'ils avaient fait.
    
54. Moïse et le sacrificateur Éléazar prirent l'or des chefs de milliers et des chefs de centaines, et l'apportèrent à la tente d'assignation, comme souvenir pour les enfants d'Israël devant l'Éternel.
    

51. Moses and Eleazar the priest accepted from them the gold--all the crafted articles.
    
52. All the gold from the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds that Moses and Eleazar presented as a gift to the LORD weighed 16,750 shekels.
    
53. Each soldier had taken plunder for himself.
    
54. Moses and Eleazar the priest accepted the gold from the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds and brought it into the Tent of Meeting as a memorial for the Israelites before the LORD.
