1. 아사의 아들 여호사밧이 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되어 스스로 强(강)하게 하여 이스라엘을 防備(방비)하되
   
2. 유다 ^ㅅ모든 堅固(견고)한 城邑(성읍)에 軍隊(군대)를 駐屯(주둔)하고 또 유다 땅과 그 아비 아사의 取(취)한바 ^ㅇ에브라임 城邑(성읍)들에 營門(영문)을 두었더라
   
3. 여호와께서 여호사밧과 함께 하셨으니 이는 저가 그 祖上(조상) 다윗의 처음 길로 行(행)하여 바알들에게 求(구)하지 아니하고
   
4. 오직 그 父親(부친)의 하나님께 求(구)하며 그 誡命(계명)을 行(행)하고 ^ㅈ이스라엘의 行爲(행위)를 좇지 아니하였음이라
   
5. 그러므로 여호와께서 나라를 그 손에서 堅固(견고)하게 하시매 유다 무리가 여호사밧에게 ^ㅊ禮物(예물)을 드렸으므로 ^ㅋ저가 富貴(부귀)와 榮光(영광)이 極(극)하였더라
   

1. Und sein Sohn Josaphat ward König an seiner Statt und ward mächtig wider Israel.
   
2. Und er legte Kriegsvolk in alle festen Städte Juda's und setzte Amtleute im Lande Juda und in den Städten "Ephraims," die sein Vater Asa gewonnen hatte.
   
3. Und der HERR war mit Josaphat; denn er wandelte in den vorigen Wegen seines Vaters David und suchte nicht die "Baalim,"
   
4. sondern den Gott seines "Vaters," und wandelte in seinen Geboten und nicht nach den Werken Israels.῰̂ ῰̂ 䠀˿ ఠˣ ⁘̂ ‐̂ 䀀 ‐̂ bestätigte ihm der HERR das Königreich; und ganz Juda gab Josaphat "Geschenke," und er hatte Reichtum und Ehre die Menge.
   

1. Jehoshaphat his son succeeded him as king and strengthened himself against Israel.
   
2. He stationed troops in all the fortified cities of Judah and put garrisons in Judah and in the towns of Ephraim that his father Asa had captured.
   
3. The LORD was with Jehoshaphat because in his early years he walked in the ways his father David had followed. He did not consult the Baals
   
4. but sought the God of his father and followed his commands rather than the practices of Israel.
   
5. The LORD established the kingdom under his control; and all Judah brought gifts to Jehoshaphat, so that he had great wealth and honor.
   

6. 저가 全心(전심)으로 여호와의 道(도)를 行(행)하여 ^ㅌ山堂(산당)과 아세라 木像(목상)들도 유다에서 除(제)하였더라
   
7. 저가 位(위)에 있은지 三年(삼년)에 그 方伯(방백) 벤하일과, 오바댜와, 스가랴와, 느다넬과, 미가야를 보내어 ^ㅍ유다 여러 城邑(성읍)에 가서 가르치게 하고
   
8. ^ㅎ또 저희와 함께 레위 사람 스마야와, 느다냐와, 스바댜와, 아사헬과, 스미라못과, 여호나단과, 아도니야와, 도비야와, 도바도니야 等(등) 레위 사람을 보내고 또 저희와 함께 祭司長(제사장) 엘리사마와 여호람을 보내었더니
   
9. 저희가 여호와의 律法冊(률법책)을 가지고 유다에서 가르치되 그 모든 城邑(성읍)으로 巡行(순행)하며 人民(인민)을 가르쳤더라
   
10. ^ㅏ여호와께서 유다 四面(사면) 列國(렬국)에 두려움을 주사 여호사밧과 싸우지 못하게 하시매
    

6. Und da sein Herz mutig ward in den Wegen des "HERRN," tat er fÜrder ab die Höhen und Ascherabilder aus Juda.
   
7. Im dritten Jahr seines Königreichs sandte er seine FÜrsten "Ben-Hail," "Obadja," "Sacharja," Nathanael und "Michaja," daß sie lehren sollten in den Städten Juda's;
   
8. und mit ihnen die Leviten "Semaja," "Nethanja," "Sebadja," "Asael," "Semiramoth," "Jonathan," "Adonia," Tobia und Tob-Adonia; und mit ihnen die Priester Elisama und Joram. {~}
   
9. Und sie lehrten in Juda und hatten das Gesetzbuch des HERRN mit sich und zogen umher in allen Städten Juda's und lehrten das Volk.
   
10. Und es kam die Furcht des HERRN Über alle Königreiche in den "Landen," die um Juda her "lagen," daß sie nicht stritten wider Josaphat.
    

6. His heart was devoted to the ways of the LORD; furthermore, he removed the high places and the Asherah poles from Judah.
   
7. In the third year of his reign he sent his officials Ben-Hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel and Micaiah to teach in the towns of Judah.
   
8. With them were certain Levites--Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah and Tob-Adonijah--and the priests Elishama and Jehoram.
   
9. They taught throughout Judah, taking with them the Book of the Law of the LORD; they went around to all the towns of Judah and taught the people.
   
10. The fear of the LORD fell on all the kingdoms of the lands surrounding Judah, so that they did not make war with Jehoshaphat.
    

11. 블레셋 中(중)에서는 ^ㅑ여호사밧에게 禮物(예물)을 드리며 銀(은)으로 貢(공)을 바쳤고 아라비아 사람도 짐승떼 곧 수羊(양) 七千(칠천) 七百(칠백)과 수염소 七千(칠천) 七百(칠백)을 드렸더라
    
12. 여호사밧이 漸漸(점점) 强大(강대)하여 유다에 堅固(견고)한 寨(채)와 國庫城(국고성)을 建築(건축)하고
    
13. 유다 各(각) 城(성)에 役事(역사)를 많이 하고 또 예루살렘에 크게 勇猛(용맹)한 軍士(군사)를 두었으니
    
14. 軍士(군사)의 數爻(수효)가 그 族屬(족속)대로 이러하니라 유다에 屬(속)한 千夫長(천부장) 中(중)에는 아드나가 으뜸이 되어 큰 勇士(용사) 三十萬(삼십만)을 거느렸고
    
15. 그 다음은 長官(장관) 여호하난이니 二十八萬(이십팔만)을 거느렸고
    

11. Und die Philister brachten Josaphat "Geschenke," eine Last Silber; und die Araber brachten ihm siebentausend und siebenhundert Widder und siebentausend und siebenhundert Böcke. {~}
    
12. Also nahm Josaphat zu und ward immer größer; und er baute in Juda Burgen und Kornstädte{~}
    
13. und hatte viel Vorrat in den Städten Juda's und streitbare Männer und gewaltige Leute zu Jerusalem.
    
14. Und dies war die Ordnung nach ihren Vaterhäusern: in Juda waren Oberste Über tausend: "Adna," ein Oberster und mit ihm waren dreihunderttausend gewaltige Männer;
    
15. Neben ihm war "Johanan," der "Oberste," und mit ihm waren zweihundertachtzigtausend;
    

11. Some Philistines brought Jehoshaphat gifts and silver as tribute, and the Arabs brought him flocks: seven thousand seven hundred rams and seven thousand seven hundred goats.
    
12. Jehoshaphat became more and more powerful; he built forts and store cities in Judah
    
13. and had large supplies in the towns of Judah. He also kept experienced fighting men in Jerusalem.
    
14. Their enrollment by families was as follows: From Judah, commanders of units of 1,000: Adnah the commander, with 330,000 fighting men;
    
15. next, Jehohanan the commander, with 280,000;
    

16. 그 다음은 시그리의 아들 아마시야니 ^ㅓ저는 自己(자기)를 여호와께 즐거이 드린 者(자)라 큰 勇士(용사) 二十萬(이십만)을 거느렸고
    
17. 베냐민에 屬(속)한 者(자) 中(중)에 큰 勇士(용사) 엘리아다는 ^ㅕ활과 防牌(방패)를 잡은 者(자) 二十萬(이십만)을 거느렸고
    
18. 그 다음은 여호사밧이라 싸움을 豫備(예비)한 者(자) 十八萬(십팔만)을 거느렸으니
    
19. 이는 다 王(왕)을 섬기는 者(자)요 이 外(외)에 ^ㅗ또 온 유다 堅固(견고)한 城(성)에 王(왕)이 軍士(군사)를 두었더라
    

16. neben ihm war "Amasja," der Sohn "Sichris," der Freiwillige des "HERRN," und mit ihm waren zweihundertausend gewaltige Männer;
    
17. und von den Kindern Benjamin war "Eljada," ein gewaltiger "Mann," und mit ihm waren "zweihunderttausend," die mit Bogen und Schild gerÜstet waren;
    
18. neben ihm war "Josabad," und mit ihm waren hundertachtzigtausend GerÜstete zum Heer.
    
19. Diese dienten alle dem "König," außer "denen," die der König noch gelegt hatte in die festen Städte im ganzen Juda.
    

16. next, Amasiah son of Zicri, who volunteered himself for the service of the LORD, with 200,000.
    
17. From Benjamin: Eliada, a valiant soldier, with 200,000 men armed with bows and shields;
    
18. next, Jehozabad, with 180,000 men armed for battle.
    
19. These were the men who served the king, besides those he stationed in the fortified cities throughout Judah.
