1. ^ㅛ아비야가 그 列祖(열조)와 함께 자매 다윗城(성)에 葬事(장사)되고 그 아들 아사가 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되니 그 時代(시대)에 그 땅이 十年(십년)을 平安(평안)하니라
   
2. 아사가 그 하나님 여호와 보시기에 善(선)과 正義(정의)를 行(행)하여
   
3. 異邦(이방) 祭壇(제단)과 ^ㅜ山堂(산당)을 없이하고 ^ㅠ柱像(주상)을 毁破(훼파)하며 ^으아세라 像(상)을 찍고
   
4. 유다 사람을 命(명)하여 그 列祖(열조)의 하나님 여호와를 求(구)하게 하며 그 律法(률법)과 命令(명령)을 行(행)하게 하고
   
5. 또 유다 모든 城邑(성읍)에서 山堂(산당)과 ^이太陽像(태양상)을 없이하매 나라가 그 앞에서 平安(평안)함을 얻으니라
   

1. 13:23 Und Abia entschlief mit seinen "Vätern," und sie begruben ihn in der Stadt Davids. Und "Asa," sein "Sohn," war König an seiner Statt. Zu dessen Zeiten war das Land still zehn Jahre.
   
2. Und Asa "tat," was recht war und dem "HERRN," seinem "Gott," wohl "gefiel," {~}
   
3. und tat weg die fremden Altäre und die Höhen und zerbrach die Säulen und hieb die Ascherahbilder ab
   
4. und ließ Juda "sagen," daß sie den "HERRN," den Gott ihrer "Väter," suchten und täten nach dem Gesetz und Gebot.
   
5. Und er tat weg aus allen Städten Juda's die Höhen und die Sonnensäulen; denn das Königreich war still vor ihm.
   

1. And Abijah rested with his fathers and was buried in the City of David. Asa his son succeeded him as king, and in his days the country was at peace for ten years.
   
2. Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God.
   
3. He removed the foreign altars and the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles.
   
4. He commanded Judah to seek the LORD, the God of their fathers, and to obey his laws and commands.
   
5. He removed the high places and incense altars in every town in Judah, and the kingdom was at peace under him.
   

6. 여호와께서 아사에게 ^ㅐ平安(평안)을 주셨으므로 그 땅이 平安(평안)하여 여러해 싸움이 없은지라 ^ㄱ저가 堅固(견고)한 城邑(성읍)들을 유다에 建築(건축)하니라
   
7. 아사가 일찌기 유다 사람에게 이르되 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와를 찾았으므로 이 땅이 아직 우리 앞에 있나니 우리가 이 城邑(성읍)들을 建築(건축)하고 그 周圍(주위)에 ^ㄴ城郭(성곽)과 望臺(망대)와 門(문)과 빗장을 만들자 우리가 主(주)를 찾았으므로 主(주)께서 우리에게 四方(사방)의 平安(평안)을 주셨느니라 하고 이에 저희가 城邑(성읍)을 亨通(형통)하게 建築(건축)하였더라
   
8. 아사의 軍隊(군대)는 유다 中(중)에서 큰 防牌(방패)와 槍(창)을 잡는 者(자)가 ^ㄷ三十萬(삼십만)이요 베냐민 中(중)에서 작은 防牌(방패)를 잡으며 활을 당기는 者(자)가 二十八萬(이십팔만)이라 다 큰 勇士(용사)더라
   
9. ^ㄹ구스 사람 세라가 저희를 치려하여 軍士(군사) 百萬(백만)과 兵車(병거) 三百乘(삼백승)을 거느리고 ^ㅁ마레사에 이르매
   
10. 아사가 마주 나아가서 마레사의 ^ㅂ스바다 골짜기에 陣(진)치고
    

6. Und er baute feste Städte in "Juda," weil das Land still und kein Streit wider ihn war in denselben Jahren; denn der HERR gab ihm Ruhe.
   
7. Und er sprach zu Juda: Laßt uns diese Städte bauen und Mauern darumher fÜhren und "TÜrme," TÜren und "Riegel," weil das Land noch offen vor uns ist; denn wir haben den "HERRN," unsern "Gott," "gesucht," und er hat uns Ruhe gegeben umher. Also bauten "sie," und es ging glÜcklich vonstatten. {~}
   
8. Und Asa hatte eine "Heereskraft," die Schild und Spieß "trugen," aus Juda dreihunderttausend und aus "Benjamin," die Schilde trugen und mit dem Bogen schießen konnten zweihundertachtzigtausend; und diese waren starke Helden.
   
9. Es zog aber wider sie aus "Serah," der "Mohr," mit einer Heereskraft "tausendmaltausend," dazu dreihundert "Wagen," und sie kamen bis gen Maresa.
   
10. Und Asa zog aus ihnen entgegen; und sie rÜsteten sich zum Streit im Tal Zephatha bei Maresa.
    

6. He built up the fortified cities of Judah, since the land was at peace. No one was at war with him during those years, for the LORD gave him rest.
   
7. "Let us build up these towns," he said to Judah, "and put walls around them, with towers, gates and bars. The land is still ours, because we have sought the LORD our God; we sought him and he has given us rest on every side." So they built and prospered.
   
8. Asa had an army of three hundred thousand men from Judah, equipped with large shields and with spears, and two hundred and eighty thousand from Benjamin, armed with small shields and with bows. All these were brave fighting men.
   
9. Zerah the Cushite marched out against them with a vast army and three hundred chariots, and came as far as Mareshah.
   
10. Asa went out to meet him, and they took up battle positions in the Valley of Zephathah near Mareshah.
    

11. 그 하나님 여호와께 ^ㅅ부르짖어 가로되 여호와여 强(강)한 者(자)와 弱(약)한 者(자) 사이에는 主(주) 밖에 도와줄 이가 없사오니 우리 하나님 여호와여 우리를 도우소서 ^ㅇ우리가 主(주)를 依支(의지)하오며 ^ㅈ主(주)의 이름을 依託(의탁)하옵고 이 많은 무리를 치러왔나이다 여호와여 主(주)는 우리 하나님이시오니 願(원)컨대 사람으로 主(주)를 이기지 못하게 하옵소서 하였더니
    
12. ^ㅊ여호와께서 구스 사람을 아사와 유다 사람 앞에서 쳐서 敗(패)하게 하시니 구스 사람이 逃亡(도망)하는지라
    
13. 아사와 그 좇는 者(자)가 구스 사람을 쫓아 ^ㅋ그랄까지 이르매 이에 구스 사람이 엎드러지고 살아 남은 者(자)가 없었으니 이는 여호와 앞에서와 그 軍隊(군대) 앞에서 敗亡(패망)하였음이라 擄略(노략)한 物件(물건)이 甚(심)히 많았더라
    
14. ^ㅌ여호와께서 그랄 四面(사면) 모든 城邑(성읍) 百姓(백성)을 두렵게 하시니 무리가 그 모든 城邑(성읍)을 치고 그 가운데 있는 많은 物件(물건)을 擄略(노략)하고
    
15. 또 짐승 지키는 天幕(천막)을 치고 羊(양)과 약대를 많이 이끌고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
    

11. Und Asa rief an den "HERRN," seinen "Gott," und sprach: "HERR," es ist bei dir kein "Unterschied," zu helfen unter vielen oder da keine Kraft ist. Hilf "uns," "HERR," unser Gott; denn wir verlassen uns auf "dich," und in deinem Namen sind wir gekommen wider diese Menge. "HERR," unser "Gott," wider dich vermag kein Mensch etwas. {~}
    
12. Und der HERR schlug die Mohren vor Asa und vor "Juda," daß sie flohen.
    
13. Und Asa samt dem "Volk," das bei ihm "war," jagte ihnen nach bis gen Gerar. Und die Mohren "fielen," daß ihrer keiner lebendig blieb; sondern sie wurden geschlagen vor dem HERRN und vor seinem Heerlager. Und sie trugen sehr viel Raub davon.
    
14. Und er schlug alle Städte um Gerar her; denn die Furcht des HERRN kam Über sie. Und sie beraubten alle Städte; denn es war viel Raub darin.
    
15. Auch schlugen sie die HÜtten des Viehs und fÜhrten weg Schafe die Menge und Kamele und kamen wieder gen Jerusalem.
    

11. Then Asa called to the LORD his God and said, "LORD, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. O LORD, you are our God; do not let man prevail against you."
    
12. The LORD struck down the Cushites before Asa and Judah. The Cushites fled,
    
13. and Asa and his army pursued them as far as Gerar. Such a great number of Cushites fell that they could not recover; they were crushed before the LORD and his forces. The men of Judah carried off a large amount of plunder.
    
14. They destroyed all the villages around Gerar, for the terror of the LORD had fallen upon them. They plundered all these villages, since there was much booty there.
    
15. They also attacked the camps of the herdsmen and carried off droves of sheep and goats and camels. Then they returned to Jerusalem.
