1. ^ㅌ이에 사무엘이 기름甁(병)을 取(취)하여 사울의 머리에 붓고 ^ㅍ입맞추어 가로되 여호와께서 네게 기름을 부으사 ^ㅎ그 基業(기업)의 指導者(지도자)를 삼지 아니하셨느냐
   
2. 네가 오늘 나를 떠나가다가 베냐민 境界(경계) 셀사에 있는 ^ㅏ라헬의 墓室(묘실) 곁에서 두 사람을 만나리니 그들이 네게 이르기를 네가 찾으러 갔던 ^ㅑ암나귀들을 찾은지라 ^ㅓ네 아비가 암나귀들의 念慮(념려)는 놓았으나 너희를 因(인)하여 걱정하여 가로되 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 어찌하리요 하더라 할 것이요
   
3. 네가 거기서 더 나아가서 ^ㅕ다볼 상수리나무에 이르면 거기서 하나님께 뵈려고 ^ㅗ벧엘로 ^ㅛ올라가는 세 사람이 너와 만나리니 하나는 염소 새끼 셋을 이끌었고 하나는 떡 세덩이를 가졌고 하나는 葡萄酒(포도주) 한 가죽 負袋(부대)를 가진 者(자)라
   
4. 그들이 네게 問安(문안)하고 떡 두 덩이를 주겠고 너는 그 손에서 받으리라
   
5. 그 後(후)에 네가 ^ㅜ하나님의 山(산)에 이르리니 그곳에는 ^ㅠ블레셋 사람의 營門(영문)이 있느니라 네가 그리로 가서 그 城邑(성읍)으로 들어갈 때에 先知者(선지자)의 무리가 ^으山堂(산당)에서부터 琵琶(비파)와 小鼓(소고)와 저와 竪琴(수금)을 앞세우고 豫言(예언)하며 내려오는 것을 만날 것이요
   

1. Da nahm Samuel ein Ölglas und goß auf sein Haupt und küßte ihn und sprach: Siehst "du," daß dich der HERR zum Fürsten über sein Erbteil gesalbt hat?
   
2. Wenn du jetzt von mir "gehst," so wirst du zwei Männer finden bei dem Grabe "Rahels," in der Grenze "Benjamins," zu Zelzah; die werden dir sagen: Die Eselinnen sind "gefunden," die du zu suchen bist gegangen; und "siehe," dein Vater hat die Esel aus der Acht gelassen und sorgt um euch und spricht: Was soll ich um meinen Sohn tun?
   
3. Und wenn du dich von da weiter "wendest," so wirst du kommen zu der Eiche Thabor; daselbst werden dich antreffen drei "Männer," die hinaufgehen zu Gott gen Beth-El. Einer trägt drei "Böcklein," der andere drei Laibe "Brot," der dritte einen Krug mit Wein. {~} {~}
   
4. Und sie werden dich freundlich grüßen und dir zwei Brote geben. Die sollst du von ihren Händen nehmen.
   
5. Darnach wirst du kommen zu dem Hügel "Gottes," da der Philister Schildwacht ist; und wenn du daselbst in die Stadt "kommst," wird dir begegnen ein Haufe "Propheten," von der Hütte "herabkommend," und vor ihnen her Psalter und Pauke und Flöte und "Harfe," und sie werden weissagen.
   

1. Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on Saul's head and kissed him, saying, "Has not the LORD anointed you leader over his inheritance?
   
2. When you leave me today, you will meet two men near Rachel's tomb, at Zelzah on the border of Benjamin. They will say to you, 'The donkeys you set out to look for have been found. And now your father has stopped thinking about them and is worried about you. He is asking, "What shall I do about my son?"'
   
3. "Then you will go on from there until you reach the great tree of Tabor. Three men going up to God at Bethel will meet you there. One will be carrying three young goats, another three loaves of bread, and another a skin of wine.
   
4. They will greet you and offer you two loaves of bread, which you will accept from them.
   
5. "After that you will go to Gibeah of God, where there is a Philistine outpost. As you approach the town, you will meet a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, tambourines, flutes and harps being played before them, and they will be prophesying.
   

6. ^이네게는 여호와의 神(신)이 크게 臨(임)하리니 너도 ^ㅐ그들과 함께 豫言(예언)을 하고 變(변)하여 새 사람이 되리라
   
7. ^ㄱ이 徵兆(징조)가 네게 臨(임)하거든 너는 機會(기회)를 따라 行(행)하라 ^ㄴ하나님이 너와 함께 하시느니라
   
8. 너는 나보다 앞서 ^ㄷ길갈로 내려가라 내가 네게로 내려가서 燔祭(번제)와 ^ㄹ和睦祭(화목제)를 드리리니 내가 네게 가서 너의 行(행)할 것을 가르칠 때까지 ^ㅁ七日(칠일)을 기다리라
   
9. 그가 사무엘에게서 떠나려고 몸을 돌이킬 때에 하나님이 새 마음을 주셨고 그 날 그 徵兆(징조)도 다 應(응)하니라
   
10. 그들이 山(산)에 이를 때에 先知者(선지자)의 무리가 그를 迎接(영접)하고 하나님의 神(신)이 사울에게 크게 臨(임)하므로 그가 그들 中(중)에서 豫言(예언)을 하니
    

6. Und der Geist des HERRN wird über dich "geraten," daß du mit ihnen weissagst; da wirst du ein anderer Mann werden.
   
7. Wenn dir nun diese Zeichen "kommen," so "tue," was dir unter die Hand kommt; denn Gott ist mit dir.
   
8. Du sollst aber vor mir hinabgehen gen Gilgal; "siehe," da will ich zu dir "hinabkommen," zu opfern Brandopfer und Dankopfer. Sieben Tage sollst du "harren," bis ich zu dir komme und dir "kundtue," was du tun sollst. {~}
   
9. Und da er seine Schultern "wandte," daß er von Samuel "ginge," gab Gott ihm ein anderes "Herz," und alle diese Zeichen kamen auf denselben Tag.
   
10. Und da sie kamen an den "Hügel," "siehe," da kam ihm ein Prophetenhaufe entgegen; und der Geist Gottes geriet über "ihn," daß er unter ihnen weissagte.
    

6. The Spirit of the LORD will come upon you in power, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.
   
7. Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.
   
8. "Go down ahead of me to Gilgal. I will surely come down to you to sacrifice burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, but you must wait seven days until I come to you and tell you what you are to do."
   
9. As Saul turned to leave Samuel, God changed Saul's heart, and all these signs were fulfilled that day.
   
10. When they arrived at Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him; the Spirit of God came upon him in power, and he joined in their prophesying.
    

11. 前(전)에 사울을 알던 모든 사람이 사울의 先知者(선지자)들과 함께 豫言(예언)함을 보고 서로 이르되 기스의 아들의 當(당)한 일이 무엇이뇨 ^ㅂ사울도 先知者(선지자)들 中(중)에 있느냐 하고
    
12. 그곳의 어떤 사람은 말하여 이르되 ^ㅅ그들의 아비가 누구냐 한지라 그러므로 俗談(속담)이 되어 가로되 사울도 先知者(선지자)들 中(중)에 있느냐 하더라
    
13. 사울이 豫言(예언)하기를 마치고 山堂(산당)으로 가니라
    
14. ^ㅇ사울의 叔父(숙부)가 사울과 그 使喚(사환)에게 이르되 너희가 어디로 갔더냐 사울이 가로되 ^ㅈ암나귀들을 찾다가 얻지 못하므로 사무엘에게 갔었나이다
    
15. 사울의 叔父(숙부)가 가로되 請(청)하노니 사무엘이 너희에게 이른 말을 내게 告(고)하라
    

11. Da ihn aber sahen "alle," die ihn vormals gekannt "hatten," daß er mit den Propheten "weissagte," sprachen sie alle untereinander: Was ist dem Sohn des Kis geschehen? Ist Saul auch unter den Propheten? {~}
    
12. Und einer daselbst antwortete und sprach: Wer ist ihr Vater? Daher ist das Sprichwort gekommen: Ist Saul auch unter den Propheten? {~}
    
13. Und da er ausgeweisagt "hatte," kam er auf die Höhe.
    
14. Es sprach aber Sauls Vetter zu ihm und zu seinem Knecht: Wo seid ihr hingegangen? Sie antworteten: Die Eselinnen zu suchen; und da wir "sahen," daß sie nicht da waren kamen wir zu Samuel.
    
15. Da sprach der Vetter Sauls: Sage "mir," was sagte euch Samuel?
    

11. When all those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other, "What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?"
    
12. A man who lived there answered, "And who is their father?" So it became a saying: "Is Saul also among the prophets?"
    
13. After Saul stopped prophesying, he went to the high place.
    
14. Now Saul's uncle asked him and his servant, "Where have you been?" "Looking for the donkeys," he said. "But when we saw they were not to be found, we went to Samuel."
    
15. Saul's uncle said, "Tell me what Samuel said to you."
    

16. 사울이 그 叔父(숙부)에게 말하되 그가 ^ㅊ암나귀들을 찾았다고 우리에게 分明(분명)히 말하더이다 하고 사무엘의 말하던 나라의 일은 告(고)하지 아니하니라
    
17. 사무엘이 百姓(백성)을 ^ㅋ미스바로 불러 ^ㅌ여호와 앞에 모으고
    
18. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게 ^ㅍ이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 내가 이스라엘을 애굽에서 引導(인도)하여 내고 너희를 애굽人(인)의 손과 너희를 壓制(압제)하는 모든 나라의 손에서 건져내었느니라 하셨거늘
    
19. ^ㅎ너희가 너희를 모든 災難(재난)과 苦痛(고통) 中(중)에서 親(친)히 救援(구원)하여 내신 너희 하나님을 오늘날 버리고 이르기를 우리 위에 王(왕)을 세우라 하도다 그런즉 이제 ^ㅏ너희 支派(지파)대로 千名(천명)씩 여호와 앞에 나아오라 하고
    
20. 사무엘이 이에 이스라엘 ^ㅑ모든 支派(지파)를 가까이 오게 하였더니 베냐민 支派(지파)가 뽑혔고
    

16. Saul antwortete seinem Vetter: Er sagte "uns," daß die Eselinnen gefunden wären. Aber von dem Königreich sagte er ihm "nicht," was Samuel gesagt hatte.
    
17. Samuel aber berief das Volk zum HERRN gen Mizpa
    
18. und sprach zu den Kinder Israel: So sagt der "HERR," der Gott Israels: Ich habe Israel aus Ägypten geführt und euch von der Ägypter Hand errettet und von der Hand aller "Königreiche," die euch zwangen.
    
19. Und ihr habt euren Gott "verworfen," der euch aus all eurem Unglück und Trübsal geholfen "hat," und sprecht zu ihm: Setze einen König über uns. Wohlan! so tretet nun vor den HERRN nach euren Stämmen und Freundschaften.
    
20. Da nun Samuel alle Stämme Israels "herzubrachte," ward getroffen der Stamm Benjamin.
    

16. Saul replied, "He assured us that the donkeys had been found." But he did not tell his uncle what Samuel had said about the kingship.
    
17. Samuel summoned the people of Israel to the LORD at Mizpah
    
18. and said to them, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'I brought Israel up out of Egypt, and I delivered you from the power of Egypt and all the kingdoms that oppressed you.'
    
19. But you have now rejected your God, who saves you out of all your calamities and distresses. And you have said, 'No, set a king over us.' So now present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes and clans."
    
20. When Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, the tribe of Benjamin was chosen.
    

21. 베냐민 支派(지파)를 그 家族(가족)대로 가까이 오게 하였더니 마드리의 家族(가족)이 뽑혔고 그 中(중)에서 기스의 아들 사울이 뽑혔으나 그를 찾아도 만나지 못한지라
    
22. ^ㅓ그러므로 그들이 또 여호와께 묻되 그 사람이 여기 왔나이까 여호와께서 對答(대답)하시되 그가 行具(행구) 사이에 숨었느니라
    
23. 그들이 달려가서 거기서 데려오매 그가 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 서니 ^ㅕ다른 사람보다 어깨 위나 더 크더라
    
24. 사무엘이 모든 百姓(백성)에게 이르되 너희는 ^ㅗ여호와의 擇(택)하신 者(자)를 보느냐 모든 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 짝할 이가 없느니라 하니 모든 百姓(백성)이 ^ㅛ王(왕)의 萬歲(만세)를 외쳐 부르니라
    
25. 사무엘이 ^ㅜ나라의 制度(제도)를 百姓(백성)에게 말하고 冊(책)에 記錄(기록)하여 여호와 앞에 두고 모든 百姓(백성)을 各其(각기) 집으로 보내매
    

21. Und da er den Stamm Benjamin herzubrachte mit seinen "Geschlechtern," ward getroffen das Geschlecht "Matris," und ward getroffen "Saul," der Sohn des Kis. Und sie suchten ihn; aber sie fanden ihn nicht.
    
22. Da fragten sie weiter den HERRN: Wird er auch noch kommen? Der HERR antwortete: "Siehe," er hat sich bei dem Geräte versteckt.
    
23. Da liefen sie hin und holten ihn von dort. Und da er unter das Volk "trat," war er eines Hauptes länger denn alles Volk.
    
24. Und Samuel sprach zu allem Volk: Da seht "ihr," welchen der HERR erwählt hat; denn ihm ist keiner gleich in allem Volk. Da jauchzte das Volk und sprach: Glück zu dem König!
    
25. Samuel aber sagte dem Volk alle Rechte des Königreiches und schrieb es in ein Buch und legte es vor den HERRN. Und Samuel ließ alles Volk "gehen," einen jeglichen in sein Haus. {~}
    

21. Then he brought forward the tribe of Benjamin, clan by clan, and Matri's clan was chosen. Finally Saul son of Kish was chosen. But when they looked for him, he was not to be found.
    
22. So they inquired further of the LORD, "Has the man come here yet?" And the LORD said, "Yes, he has hidden himself among the baggage."
    
23. They ran and brought him out, and as he stood among the people he was a head taller than any of the others.
    
24. Samuel said to all the people, "Do you see the man the LORD has chosen? There is no one like him among all the people." Then the people shouted, "Long live the king!"
    
25. Samuel explained to the people the regulations of the kingship. He wrote them down on a scroll and deposited it before the LORD. Then Samuel dismissed the people, each to his own home.
    

26. 사울도 ^ㅠ기브아 自己(자기) 집으로 갈 때에 마음이 하나님께 感動(감동)된 有力(유력)한 者(자)들은 그와 함께 갔어도
    
27. 어떤 ^으匪類(비류)는 가로되 이 사람이 어떻게 우리를 救援(구원)하겠느냐 하고 蔑視(멸시)하며 禮物(례물)을 드리지 아니하니라 그러나 그는 潛潛(잠잠)하였더라
    

26. Und Saul ging auch heim gen "Gibea," und ging mit ihm des Heeres ein "Teil," welcher Herz Gott rührte.
    
27. Aber etliche lose Leute sprachen: Was sollte uns dieser helfen? und verachteten ihn und brachten ihm kein Geschenk. Er aber "tat," als hörte er's nicht.
    

26. Saul also went to his home in Gibeah, accompanied by valiant men whose hearts God had touched.
    
27. But some troublemakers said, "How can this fellow save us?" They despised him and brought him no gifts. But Saul kept silent.
