Denn so wir Gott versöhnt sind durch den Tod seines "Sohnes," da wir noch Feinde "waren," viel mehr werden wir selig werden durch sein "Leben," so wir nun versöhnt sind.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!

For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

이뿐 아니라 이제 우리로 ^ㄷ和睦(화목)을 얻게 하신 우리 主(주) 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님 안에서 또한 즐거워하느니라

이러므로 한 사람으로 말미암아 ^ㄹ罪(죄)가 世上(세상)에 들어오고 罪(죄)로 말미암아 ^ㅁ死亡(사망)이 왔나니 이와 같이 ^ㅂ모든 사람이 罪(죄)를 지었으므로 ^ㅅ死亡(사망)이 모든 사람에게 이르렀느니라

^ㅇ罪(죄)가 律法(률법) 있기 前(전)에도 世上(세상)에 있었으나 律法(률법)이 없을 때에는 罪(죄)를 罪(죄)로 여기지 아니하느니라

그러나 아담으로부터 모세까지 ^ㅈ아담의 犯罪(범죄)와 같은 罪(죄)를 짓지 아니한 者(자)들 위에도 死亡(사망)이 王(왕)노릇하였나니 ^ㅊ아담은 ^ㅋ오실 者(자)의 表象(표상)이라

그러나 이 恩賜(은사)는 그 犯罪(범죄)와 같지 아니하니 곧 한 사람의 犯罪(범죄)를 因(인)하여 많은 사람이 죽었은즉 더욱 하나님의 恩惠(은혜)와 또는 한 사람 예수 그리스도의 恩惠(은혜)로 말미암은 膳物(선물)이 ^ㅌ많은 사람에게 넘쳤으리라

Nicht allein aber "das," sondern wir rühmen uns auch Gottes durch unsern HERRN Jesus "Christus," durch welchen wir nun die Versöhnung empfangen haben.

Derhalben, wie durch einen Menschen die Sünde ist gekommen in die Welt und der Tod durch die "Sünde," und ist also der Tod zu allen Menschen "durchgedrungen," dieweil sie alle gesündigt haben;

denn die Sünde war wohl in der Welt bis auf das Gesetz; aber wo kein Gesetz "ist," da achtet man der Sünde nicht.

Doch herrschte der Tod von Adam an bis auf Moses auch über "die," die nicht gesündigt haben mit gleicher Übertretung wie "Adam," welcher ist ein Bild "des," der zukünftig war.

Aber nicht verhält sich's mit der Gabe wie mit der Sünde. Denn so an eines Sünde viele gestorben "sind," so ist viel mehr Gottes Gnade und Gabe vielen reichlich widerfahren durch die Gnade des einen Menschen Jesus Christus. {~}

Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--

for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law.

Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.

But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

또 이 膳物(선물)은 犯罪(범죄)한 한 사람으로 말미암은 것과 같지 아니하니 ^ㅍ審判(심판)은 한 사람을 因(인)하여 定罪(정죄)에 이르렀으나 恩賜(은사)는 많은 犯罪(범죄)를 因(인)하여 ^ㅎ義(의)롭다 하심에 이름이니라

한 사람의 犯罪(범죄)를 因(인)하여 死亡(사망)이 그 한 사람으로 말미암아 王(왕)노릇 하였은즉 더욱 恩惠(은혜)와 義(의)의 膳物(선물)을 넘치게 받는 者(자)들이 한 분 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 ^ㅏ生命(생명) 안에서 王(왕)노릇하리로다

그런즉 한 犯罪(범죄)로 많은 사람이 定罪(정죄)에 이른 것 같이 義(의)의 한 行動(행동)으로 말미암아 ^ㅑ많은 사람이 ^ㅓ義(의)롭다 하심을 받아 生命(생명)에 이르렀느니라

^ㅕ한 사람의 順從(순종)치 아니함으로 많은 사람이 罪人(죄인) 된 것같이 ^ㅗ한 사람의 順從(순종)하심으로 많은 사람이 義人(의인)이 되리라

^ㅛ律法(률법)이 加入(가입)한 것은 犯罪(범죄)를 더하게 하려 함이라 그러나 罪(죄)가 더한 곳에 ^ㅜ恩惠(은혜)가 넘쳤나니

Und nicht ist die Gabe allein über eine "Sünde," wie durch des einen Sünders eine Sünde alles Verderben. Denn das Urteil ist gekommen aus einer Sünde zur Verdammnis; die Gabe aber hilft auch aus vielen Sünden zur Gerechtigkeit.

Denn so um des einen Sünde willen der Tod geherrscht hat durch den "einen," viel mehr werden "die," so da empfangen die Fülle der Gnade und der Gabe zur "Gerechtigkeit," herrschen im Leben durch "einen," Jesum Christum.

Wie nun durch eines Sünde die Verdammnis über alle Menschen gekommen "ist," so ist auch durch eines Gerechtigkeit die Rechtfertigung des Lebens über alle Menschen gekommen.

Denn gleichwie durch eines Menschen Ungehorsam viele Sünder geworden "sind," also auch durch eines Gehorsam werden viele Gerechte.

Das Gesetz aber ist neben "eingekommen," auf daß die Sünde mächtiger würde. Wo aber die Sünde mächtig geworden "ist," da ist doch die Gnade viel mächtiger "geworden,"

Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.

For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

이는 ^ㅠ罪(죄)가 死亡(사망) 안에서 王(왕)노릇한 것 같이 ^으恩惠(은혜)도 또한 義(의)로 말미암아 王(왕)노릇하여 우리 主(주) 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 永生(영생)에 이르게 하려 함이니라

auf "daß," gleichwie die Sünde geherrscht hat zum "Tode," also auch herrsche die Gnade durch die Gerechtigkeit zum ewigen Leben durch Jesum "Christum," unsern HERRN.

so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
