1. ^ㅇ많은 날을 지내고 第(제) 三年(삼년)에 여호와의 말씀이 엘리야에게 臨(임)하여 가라사대 너는 가서 아합에게 보이라 내가 비를 地面(지면)에 내리리라
   
2. 엘리야가 아합에게 보이려고 가니 그 때에 사마리아에 饑饉(기근)이 甚(심)하였더라
   
3. 아합이 ^ㅈ宮內(궁내) 大臣(대신) 오바댜를 불렀으니 이 오바댜는 크게 여호와를 敬畏(경외)하는 者(자)라
   
4. ^ㅊ이세벨이 여호와의 先知者(선지자)들을 滅(멸)할 때에 오바댜가 先知者(선지자) 一百人(일백인)을 가져 五十人(오십인)씩 窟(굴)에 숨기고 떡과 물을 먹였었더라
   
5. 아합이 오바댜에게 이르되 이 땅의 모든 물 根源(근원)과 모든 내로 가자 或時(혹시) 꼴을 얻으리라 그러면 말과 노새를 살리리니 짐승을 다 잃지 않게 되리라 하고
   

1. Und über eine lange Zeit kam das Wort des HERRN zu "Elia," im dritten "Jahr," und sprach: Gehe hin und zeige dich "Ahab," daß ich regnen lasse auf Erden.
   
2. Und Elia ging "hin," daß er sich Ahab zeigte. Es war aber eine große Teuerung zu Samaria.
   
3. Und Ahab rief "Obadja," seinen Hofmeister. (Obadja aber fürchtete den HERRN sehr. {~}
   
4. Denn da Isebel die Propheten des HERRN "ausrottete," nahm Obadja hundert Propheten und versteckte sie in "Höhlen," hier fünfzig und da "fünfzig," und versorgte sie mit Brot und Wasser.)
   
5. So sprach nun Ahab zu Obadja: Zieh durchs Land zu allen Wasserbrunnen und "Bächen," ob wir möchten Heu finden und die Rosse und Maultiere "erhalten," daß nicht das Vieh alles umkomme. {~}
   

1. After a long time, in the third year, the word of the LORD came to Elijah: "Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land."
   
2. So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria,
   
3. and Ahab had summoned Obadiah, who was in charge of his palace. (Obadiah was a devout believer in the LORD.
   
4. While Jezebel was killing off the LORD'S prophets, Obadiah had taken a hundred prophets and hidden them in two caves, fifty in each, and had supplied them with food and water.)
   
5. Ahab had said to Obadiah, "Go through the land to all the springs and valleys. Maybe we can find some grass to keep the horses and mules alive so we will not have to kill any of our animals."
   

6. 두사람이 두루 다닐 땅을 나누어 아합은 홀로 이 길로 가고 오바댜는 홀로 저 길로 가니라
   
7. 오바댜가 길에 있을 때에 엘리야가 저를 만난지라 저가 알아보고 엎드려 말하되 내 主(주) 엘리야여 當身(당신)이시니이까
   
8. 對答(대답)하되 그러하다 가서 네 主(주)에게 告(고)하기를 엘리야가 여기 있다 하라
   
9. 가로되 내가 무슨 罪(죄)를 犯(범)하였기에 當身(당신)이 當身(당신)의 종을 아합의 손에 붙여 죽이게 하려 하시나이까
   
10. 當身(당신)의 ^ㅋ하나님 여호와의 사심을 가리켜 盟誓(맹서)하노니 내 主(주)께서 사람을 보내어 當身(당신)을 찾지 아니한 族屬(족속)이나 나라가 없었는데 저희가 말하기를 엘리야가 없다 하면 그 나라와 그 族屬(족속)으로 當身(당신)을 보지 못하였다는 盟誓(맹서)를 하게 하였거늘
    

6. Und sie teilten sich ins "Land," daß sie es durchzogen. Ahab zog allein auf einem Wege und Obadja auch allein den andern Weg. {~}
   
7. Da nun Obadja auf dem Wege "war," "siehe," da begegnete ihm Elia; und er erkannte "ihn," fiel auf sein Antlitz und sprach: Bist du nicht mein Herr Elia?
   
8. Er sprach: Ja. Gehe hin und sage deinem Herrn: "Siehe," Elia ist hier!
   
9. Er aber sprach: Was habe ich "gesündigt," daß du deinen Knecht willst in die Hände Ahabs "geben," daß er mich töte?
   
10. So wahr der "HERR," dein "Gott," "lebt," es ist kein Volk noch "Königreich," dahin mein Herr nicht gesandt "hat," dich zu suchen; und wenn sie sprachen: Er ist nicht "hier," nahm er einen Eid von dem Königreich und "Volk," daß man dich nicht gefunden hätte.
    

6. So they divided the land they were to cover, Ahab going in one direction and Obadiah in another.
   
7. As Obadiah was walking along, Elijah met him. Obadiah recognized him, bowed down to the ground, and said, "Is it really you, my lord Elijah?"
   
8. "Yes," he replied. "Go tell your master, 'Elijah is here.'"
   
9. "What have I done wrong," asked Obadiah, "that you are handing your servant over to Ahab to be put to death?
   
10. As surely as the LORD your God lives, there is not a nation or kingdom where my master has not sent someone to look for you. And whenever a nation or kingdom claimed you were not there, he made them swear they could not find you.
    

11. 이제 當身(당신)의 말씀이 가서 네 主(주)에게 告(고)하기를 엘리야가 여기 있다 하라 하시니
    
12. 내가 當身(당신)을 떠나간 後(후)에 ^ㅌ여호와의 神(신)이 나의 알지 못하는 곳으로 當身(당신)을 이끌어 가시리니 내가 가서 아합에게 告(고)하였다가 저가 當身(당신)을 찾지 못하면 내가 죽임을 當(당)하리이다 當身(당신)의 종은 어려서부터 여호와를 敬畏(경외)하는 者(자)라
    
13. ^ㅍ이세벨이 여호와의 先知者(선지자)들을 죽일 때에 내가 여호와의 先知者(선지자) 中(중)에 一百人(일백인)을 五十人(오십인)씩 窟(굴)에 숨기고 떡과 물로 먹인 일이 내 主(주)께 들리지 아니하였나이까
    
14. 이제 當身(당신)의 말씀이 가서 네 主(주)에게 告(고)하기를 엘리야가 여기 있다 하라 하시니 그리하면 저가 나를 죽이리이다
    
15. 엘리야가 이르되 내가 모시는 萬軍(만군)의 여호와의 사심을 가리켜 盟誓(맹서)하노니 내가 오늘날 아합에게 보이리라
    

11. Und du sprichst nun: Gehe "hin," sage deinem Herrn: "Siehe," Elia ist hier!
    
12. Wenn ich nun hinginge von "dir," so würde dich der Geist des HERRN "wegnehmen," weiß "nicht," wohin; und wenn ich dann käme und sagte es Ahab an und er fände dich "nicht," so erwürgte er mich. Aber dein Knecht fürchtet den HERRN von seiner Jugend auf.
    
13. Ist's meinem Herrn nicht "angesagt," was ich getan "habe," da Isebel die Propheten des HERR erwürgte? daß ich der Propheten des HERRN hundert "versteckte," hier fünfzig und da "fünfzig," in Höhlen und versorgte sie mit Brot und Wasser? {~}
    
14. Und du sprichst nun: Gehe "hin," sage deinem Herrn: Elia ist hier! daß er mich erwürge.
    
15. Elia sprach: So wahr der HERR Zebaoth "lebt," vor dem ich "stehe," ich will mich ihm heute zeigen.
    

11. But now you tell me to go to my master and say, 'Elijah is here.'
    
12. I don't know where the Spirit of the LORD may carry you when I leave you. If I go and tell Ahab and he doesn't find you, he will kill me. Yet I your servant have worshiped the LORD since my youth.
    
13. Haven't you heard, my lord, what I did while Jezebel was killing the prophets of the LORD? I hid a hundred of the LORD'S prophets in two caves, fifty in each, and supplied them with food and water.
    
14. And now you tell me to go to my master and say, 'Elijah is here.' He will kill me!"
    
15. Elijah said, "As the LORD Almighty lives, whom I serve, I will surely present myself to Ahab today."
    

16. 오바댜가 가서 아합을 만나 告(고)하매 아합이 엘리야를 만나려 하여 가다가
    
17. 엘리야를 볼 때에 저에게 이르되 이스라엘을 ^ㅎ괴롭게 하는 者(자)여 ^ㅏ네냐
    
18. 저가 對答(대답)하되 내가 이스라엘을 괴롭게 한 것이 아니라 當身(당신)과 當身(당신)의 아비의 집이 괴롭게 하였으니 이는 ^ㅑ여호와의 命令(명령)을 버렸고 ^ㅓ當身(당신)이 바알들을 좇았음이라
    
19. 그런즉 보내어 온 이스라엘과 ^ㅕ이세벨의 床(상)에서 먹는 바알의 先知者(선지자) ^ㅗ四百(사백) 五十人(오십인)과 ^ㅛ아세라의 先知者(선지자) 四百人(사백인)을 ^ㅜ갈멜山(산)으로 모아 내게로 나오게 하소서
    
20. 아합이 이에 이스라엘 모든 子孫(자손)에게로 보내어 先知者(선지자)들을 갈멜山(산)으로 모으니라
    

16. Da ging Obadja hin Ahab entgegen und sagte es ihm an. Und Ahab ging hin Elia entgegen.
    
17. Und da Ahab Elia "sah," sprach Ahab zu ihm: Bist "du," der Israel verwirrt?
    
18. Er aber sprach: Ich verwirre Israel "nicht," sondern Du und deines Vaters "Haus," damit daß ihr des HERRN Gebote verlassen habt und wandelt Baalim nach.
    
19. Wohlan, so sende nun hin und versammle zu mir das ganze Israel auf den Berg Karmel und die vierhundertfünfzig Propheten "Baals," auch die vierhundert Propheten der "Aschera," die vom Tisch Isebels essen.
    
20. Also sandte Ahab hin unter alle Kinder Israel und versammelte die Propheten auf den Berg Karmel.
    

16. So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him, and Ahab went to meet Elijah.
    
17. When he saw Elijah, he said to him, "Is that you, you troubler of Israel?"
    
18. "I have not made trouble for Israel," Elijah replied. "But you and your father's family have. You have abandoned the LORD'S commands and have followed the Baals.
    
19. Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel's table."
    
20. So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel.
    

21. 엘리야가 모든 百姓(백성)에게 가까이 나아가 이르되 너희가 어느 때까지 ^ㅠ두 사이에서 머뭇머뭇 하려느냐 ^으여호와가 萬一(만일) 하나님이면 그를 좇고 바알이 萬一(만일) 하나님이면 그를 좇을지니라 하니 百姓(백성)이 한 말도 對答(대답)지 아니하는지라
    
22. 엘리야가 百姓(백성)에게 이르되 여호와의 先知者(선지자)는 ^이나만 홀로 남았으나 바알의 先知者(선지자)는 ^ㅐ四百(사백) 五十人(오십인)이로다
    
23. 그런즉 두 송아지를 우리에게 가져오게 하고 저희는 한 송아지를 擇(택)하여 脚(각)을 떠서 나무 위에 놓고 불은 놓지 말며 나도 한 송아지를 잡아 나무 위에 놓고 불은 놓지 말고
    
24. 너희는 너희 神(신)의 이름을 부르라 나는 여호와의 이름을 부르리니 이에 ^ㄱ불로 應答(응답)하는 神(신) 그가 하나님이니라 百姓(백성)이 다 對答(대답)하되 그 말이 옳도다
    
25. 엘리야가 바알의 先知者(선지자)들에게 이르되 너희는 많으니 먼저 한 송아지를 擇(택)하여 잡고 너희 神(신)의 이름을 부르라 그러나 불을 놓지 말라
    

21. Da trat Elia zu allem Volk und sprach: Wie lange hinkt ihr auf beide Seiten? Ist der HERR "Gott," so wandelt ihm nach; ist's aber "Baal," so wandelt ihm nach. Und das Volk antwortete ihm nichts.
    
22. Da sprach Elia zum Volk: Ich bin allein übriggeblieben als Prophet des HERRN; aber der Propheten Baals sind vierhundertfünfzig Mann.
    
23. So gebt uns zwei Farren und laßt sie erwählen einen Farren und ihn zerstücken und aufs Holz legen und kein Feuer daran legen; so will ich den andern Farren nehmen und aufs Holz legen und auch kein Feuer daran legen.
    
24. So rufet ihr an den Namen eures "Gottes," und ich will den Namen des HERRN anrufen. Welcher Gott nun mit Feuer antworten "wird," der sei Gott. Und das ganze Volk antwortete und sprach: Das ist recht.
    
25. Und Elia sprach zu den Propheten Baals: Erwählt ihr einen Farren und richtet zu am "ersten," denn euer ist viel; und ruft eures Gottes Namen an und legt kein Feuer daran.
    

21. Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him." But the people said nothing.
    
22. Then Elijah said to them, "I am the only one of the LORD'S prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets.
    
23. Get two bulls for us. Let them choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it.
    
24. Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD. The god who answers by fire--he is God." Then all the people said, "What you say is good."
    
25. Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, "Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire."
    

26. 저희가 그 받는 송아지를 取(취)하여 잡고 아침부터 낮까지 바알의 이름을 불러 가로되 바알이여 우리에게 應答(응답)하소서 하나 아무 소리도 없으므로 저희가 그 쌓은 壇(단) 周圍(주위)에서 뛰놀더라
    
27. 午正(오정)에 이르러는 엘리야가 저희를 嘲弄(조롱)하여 가로되 큰 소리로 부르라 저는 神(신)인즉 默想(묵상)하고 있는지, 或(혹) 暫間(잠간) 나갔는지, 或(혹) 길을 行(행)하는지, 或(혹) 잠이 들어서 깨워야 할 것인지 하매
    
28. 이에 저희가 큰 소리로 부르고 그 規例(규례)를 따라 피가 흐르기까지 칼과 槍(창)으로 ^ㄴ그 몸을 傷(상)하게 하더라
    
29. 이같이 하여 午正(오정)이 지났으나 저희가 오히려 嗔言(진언)을 하여 ^ㄷ저녁 素祭(소제) 드릴 때까지 이를지라도 아무 소리도 없고 아무 應答(응답)하는 者(자)도 없고 아무 돌아보는 者(자)도 없더라
    
30. 엘리야가 모든 百姓(백성)을 向(향)하여 이르되 내게로 가까이 오라 百姓(백성)이 다 저에게 가까이 오매 저가 ^ㄹ무너진 여호와의 壇(단)을 修築(수축)하되
    

26. Und sie nahmen den "Farren," den man ihnen "gab," und richteten zu und riefen an den Namen Baals vom Morgen bis an den Mittag und sprachen: "Baal," erhöre uns! Aber es war da keine Stimme noch Antwort. Und sie hinkten um den "Altar," den sie gemacht hatten.
    
27. Da es nun Mittag "ward," spottete ihrer Elia und sprach: Ruft laut! denn er ist ein Gott; er dichtet oder hat zu schaffen oder ist über Feld oder schläft "vielleicht," daß er aufwache.
    
28. Und sie riefen laut und ritzten sich mit Messern und Pfriemen nach ihrer "Weise," bis daß ihr Blut herabfloß.
    
29. Da aber Mittag vergangen "war," weissagten sie bis um die "Zeit," da man Speisopfer tun sollte; und da war keine Stimme noch Antwort noch Aufmerken.
    
30. Da sprach Elia zu allem Volk: Kommt "her," alles Volk zu mir! Und da alles Volk zu ihm "trat," baute er den Altar des HERRN wieder "auf," der zerbrochen "war,"
    

26. So they took the bull given them and prepared it. Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. "O Baal, answer us!" they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.
    
27. At noon Elijah began to taunt them. "Shout louder!" he said. "Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened."
    
28. So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed.
    
29. Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.
    
30. Then Elijah said to all the people, "Come here to me." They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the LORD, which was in ruins.
    

31. 야곱의 아들들의 支派(지파)의 數爻(수효)를 따라 열 두 돌을 取(취)하니 이 야곱은 여호와께서 옛적에 저에게 臨(임)하여 이르시기를 ^ㅁ네 이름을 이스라엘이라 하리라 하신 者(자)더라
    
32. 저가 여호와의 이름을 依支(의지)하여 그 돌로 壇(단)을 쌓고 壇(단)으로 돌아가며 穀食(곡식) 種子(종자) 두 세아를 容納(용납)할 만한 도랑을 만들고
    
33. ^ㅂ또 나무를 벌이고 송아지의 脚(각)을 떠서 나무 위에 놓고 이르되 桶(통) 넷에 물을 채워다가 ^ㅅ燔祭物(번제물)과 나무위에 부으라 하고
    
34. 또 이르되 다시 그리하라 하여 다시 그리하니 또 이르되 세番(번) 그리하라 하여 세番(번) 그리하니
    
35. 물이 壇(단)으로 두루 흐르고 도랑에도 물이 가득하게 되었더라
    

31. und nahm zwölf Steine nach der Zahl der Stämme der Kinder Jakobs (zu welchem das Wort des HERRN redete und sprach: Du sollst Israel "heißen),"
    
32. und baute mit den Steinen einen Altar im Namen des HERRN und machte um den Altar her eine "Grube," zwei Kornmaß "weit,"
    
33. und richtete das Holz zu und zerstückte den Farren und legte ihn aufs Holz
    
34. und sprach: Holt vier Kad Wasser voll und gießt es auf das Brandopfer und aufs Holz! Und sprach: Tut's noch einmal! Und sie taten's noch einmal. Und er sprach: Tut's zum drittenmal! Und sie taten's zum drittenmal.
    
35. Und das Wasser lief um den Altar "her," und die Grube ward auch voll Wasser.
    

31. Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD had come, saying, "Your name shall be Israel."
    
32. With the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs of seed.
    
33. He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, "Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood."
    
34. "Do it again," he said, and they did it again. "Do it a third time," he ordered, and they did it the third time.
    
35. The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench.
    

36. ^ㅇ저녁 素祭(소제) 드릴 때에 이르러 先知者(선지자) 엘리야가 나아가서 말하되 아브라함과 이삭과 이스라엘의 ^ㅈ하나님 여호와여 ^ㅊ主(주)께서 이스라엘 中(중)에서 하나님이 되심과 내가 主(주)의 종이 됨과 내가 ^ㅋ主(주)의 말씀대로 이 모든 일을 行(행)하는 것을 오늘날 알게 하옵소서
    
37. 여호와여 내게 應答(응답)하옵소서 내게 應答(응답)하옵소서 이 百姓(백성)으로 主(주) 여호와는 하나님이신 것과 主(주)는 저희의 마음으로 돌이키게 하시는 것을 알게 하옵소서 하매
    
38. ^ㅌ이에 여호와의 불이 내려서 燔祭物(번제물)과 나무와 돌과 흙을 태우고 또 도랑의 물을 핥은지라
    
39. 모든 百姓(백성)이 보고 엎드려 말하되 ^ㅍ여호와, 그는 하나님이시로다 여호와 그는 하나님이시로다 하니
    
40. 엘리야가 저희에게 이르되 바알의 先知者(선지자)를 잡되 하나도 逃亡(도망)하지 못하게 하라 하매 곧 잡은지라 엘리야가 저희를 ^ㅎ기손 시내로 내려다가 ^ㅏ거기서 죽이니라
    

36. Und da die Zeit "war," Speisopfer zu "opfern," trat "Elia," der "Prophet," herzu und sprach: "HERR," Gott "Abrahams," Isaaks und "Israels," laß heute kund "werden," daß du Gott in Israel bist und ich dein "Knecht," und daß ich solches alles nach deinem Wort getan habe!
    
37. Erhöre mich "HERR," erhöre "mich," daß dies Volk "wisse," daß "du," "HERR," Gott "bist," daß du ihr Herz darnach bekehrst!
    
38. Da fiel das Feuer des HERRN herab und fraß "Brandopfer," "Holz," Steine und Erde und leckte das Wasser auf in der Grube.
    
39. Da das alles Volk "sah," fiel es auf sein Angesicht und sprach: Der HERR ist "Gott," der HERR ist Gott!
    
40. Elia aber sprach zu ihnen: Greift die Propheten "Baals," daß ihrer keiner entrinne! und sie griffen sie. Und Elia führte sie hinab an den Bach Kison und schlachtete sie daselbst.
    

36. At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: "O LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.
    
37. Answer me, O LORD, answer me, so these people will know that you, O LORD, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again."
    
38. Then the fire of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.
    
39. When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, "The LORD--he is God! The LORD--he is God!"
    
40. Then Elijah commanded them, "Seize the prophets of Baal. Don't let anyone get away!" They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there.
    

41. 엘리야가 아합에게 이르되 올라가서 먹고 마시소서 큰 비의 소리가 있나이다
    
42. 아합이 먹고 마시러 올라가니라 엘리야가 갈멜山(산) 꼭대기로 올라가서 ^ㅑ땅에 꿇어 엎드려 그 얼굴을 무릎 사이에 넣고
    
43. 그 使喚(사환)에게 이르되 올라가 바다 便(편)을 바라보라 저가 올라가 바라 보고 告(고)하되 아무것도 없나이다 가로되 일곱番(번)까지 다시 가라
    
44. 일곱番(번)째 이르러서는 저가 告(고)하되 ^ㅓ바다에서 사람의 손만한 작은 구름이 일어나나이다 가로되 올라가 아합에게 告(고)하기를 비에 막히지 아니하도록 馬車(마차)를 갖추고 내려가소서 하라 하니라
    
45. 조금 後(후)에 구름과 바람이 일어나서 하늘이 캄캄하여지며 큰 비가 내리는지라 아합이 마차를 타고 ^ㅕ이스르엘로 가니
    

41. Und Elia sprach zu Ahab: Zieh "hinauf," iß und trink; denn es "rauscht," als wollte es sehr regnen.
    
42. Und da Ahab "hinaufzog," zu essen und zu "trinken," ging Elia auf des Karmels Spitze und bückte sich zur Erde und tat sein Haupt zwischen seine Kniee
    
43. und sprach zu seinem Diener: Geh hinauf und schau zum Meer zu! Er ging hinauf und schaute und sprach: Es ist nichts da. Er sprach: Geh wieder hin siebenmal!
    
44. Und beim siebentenmal sprach er: "Siehe," es geht eine kleine Wolke auf aus dem Meer wie eines Mannes Hand. Er sprach: Geh hinauf und sage Ahab: Spanne an und fahre "hinab," daß dich der Regen nicht ergreife! {~}
    
45. Und ehe man "zusah," ward der Himmel schwarz von Wolken und "Wind," und kam ein großer Regen. Ahab aber fuhr und zog gen Jesreel.
    

41. And Elijah said to Ahab, "Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain."
    
42. So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.
    
43. "Go and look toward the sea," he told his servant. And he went up and looked. "There is nothing there," he said. Seven times Elijah said, "Go back."
    
44. The seventh time the servant reported, "A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea." So Elijah said, "Go and tell Ahab, 'Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.'"
    
45. Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain came on and Ahab rode off to Jezreel.
    

46. ^ㅗ여호와의 能力(능력)이 엘리야에게 臨(임)하매 ^ㅛ저가 허리를 동이고 ^ㅜ이스르엘로 들어가는 곳까지 아합 앞에서 달려갔더라
    

46. Und die Hand des HERRN kam über "Elia," und er gürtete seine Lenden und lief vor Ahab "hin," bis er kam gen Jesreel.
    

46. The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.
