- 하나님이 꿈에 또 그에게 이르시되 네가 穩全(온전)한 마음으로 이렇게 한 줄을 나도 알았으므로 너를 막아 ㅑ내게 犯罪(범죄)하지 않게 하였나니 女人(여인)에게 가까이 못하게 함이 이 까닭이니라
- 이제 그 사람의 아내를 돌려 보내라 ㅓ그는 先知者(선지자)라 그가 너를 爲(위)하여 祈禱(기도)하리니 네가 살려니와 네가 돌려 보내지 않으면 ㅕ너와 네게 屬(속)한 者(자)가 다 丁寧(정녕) 죽을 줄 알지니라
- 아비멜렉이 그 아침에 일찌기 일어나 모든 臣僕(신복)을 불러 그 일을 다 말하여 들리매 그 사람들이 甚(심)히 두려워하였더라
- 아비멜렉이 아브라함을 불러서 그에게 이르되 네가 어찌하여 우리에게 이리 하느냐 내가 무슨 罪(죄)를 네게 犯(범)하였관대 네가 나와 내 나라로 큰 罪(죄)에 빠질 뻔하게 하였느냐 네가 合當(합당)치 않은 일을 네게 行(행)하였도다 하고
- 아비멜렉이 또 아브라함에게 이르되 네가 무슨 意見(의견)으로 이렇게 하였느냐

| - Und Gott sprach zu ihm im Traum: Ich weiß "auch," daß du mit einfältigem Herzen das getan hast. Darum habe ich dich auch "behütet," daß du nicht wider mich "sündigtest," und habe es nicht "zugegeben," daß du sie berührtest.
- So gib nun dem Manne sein Weib "wieder," denn er ist ein Prophet; und laß ihn für dich "bitten," so wirst du lebendig bleiben. Wo du sie aber nicht "wiedergibst," so "wisse," daß du des Todes sterben mußt und "alles," was dein ist.
- Da stand Abimelech des Morgens früh auf und rief alle seine Knechte und sagte ihnen dieses alles vor ihren Ohren. Und die Leute fürchteten sich sehr.
- Und Abimelech rief Abraham auch und sprach zu ihm: Warum hast du uns das getan? Und was habe ich an dir "gesündigt," daß du so eine große Sünde wolltest auf mich und mein Reich bringen? Du hast mit mir "gehandelt," wie man nicht handeln soll.
- Und Abimelech sprach weiter zu Abraham: Was hast du "gesehen," daß du solches getan hast?
| - Then God said to him in the dream, "Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me. That is why I did not let you touch her.
- Now return the man's wife, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you will live. But if you do not return her, you may be sure that you and all yours will die."
- Early the next morning Abimelech summoned all his officials, and when he told them all that had happened, they were very much afraid.
- Then Abimelech called Abraham in and said, "What have you done to us? How have I wronged you that you have brought such great guilt upon me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that should not be done."
- And Abimelech asked Abraham, "What was your reason for doing this?"
