1. 아브라함이 나이 많아 늙었고 여호와께서 그의 ^ㅈ凡事(범사)에 福(복)을 주셨더라
   
2. 아브라함이 ^ㅊ自己(자기) 집 모든 所有(소유)를 맡은 늙은 종에게 이르되 請(청)컨대 ^ㅋ네 손을 내 환도뼈 밑에 넣으라
   
3. 내가 너로 하늘의 하나님, 땅의 하나님이신 여호와를 가리켜 盟誓(맹서)하게 하노니 너는 나의 居(거)하는 이 地方(지방) 가나안 族屬(족속)의 딸 中(중)에서 ^ㅌ내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)하지 말고
   
4. ^ㅍ내 故鄕(고향) 내 族屬(족속)에게로 가서 내 아들 이삭을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)하라
   
5. 종이 가로되 女子(녀자)가 나를 좇아 이 땅으로 오고자 아니하거든 내가 主人(주인)의 아들을 主人(주인)의 나오신 땅으로 引導(인도)하여 돌아가리이까
   

1. Abraham ward alt und wohl "betagt," und der HERR hatte ihn gesegnet allenthalben.
   
2. Und er sprach zu dem ältesten Knecht seines "Hauses," der allen seinen Gütern vorstand: Lege deine Hand unter meine Hüfte
   
3. und schwöre mir bei dem "HERRN," dem Gott des Himmels und der "Erde," daß du meinem Sohn kein Weib nehmest von den Töchtern der "Kanaaniter," unter welchen ich "wohne,"
   
4. sondern daß du ziehst in mein Vaterland und zu meiner Freundschaft und nehmest meinem Sohn Isaak ein Weib.
   
5. Der Knecht sprach: "Wie," wenn das Weib mir nicht wollte folgen in dies "Land," soll ich dann deinen Sohn wiederbringen in jenes "Land," daraus du gezogen bist?
   

1. Abraham was now old and well advanced in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way.
   
2. He said to the chief servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had, "Put your hand under my thigh.
   
3. I want you to swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living,
   
4. but will go to my country and my own relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac."
   
5. The servant asked him, "What if the woman is unwilling to come back with me to this land? Shall I then take your son back to the country you came from?"
   

6. 아브라함이 그에게 이르되 삼가 내 아들을 그리로 데리고 돌아가지 말라
   
7. 하늘의 하나님 여호와께서 ^ㅎ나를 내 아버지의 집과 내 本土(본토)에서 떠나게 하시고 내게 말씀하시며 내게 盟誓(맹서)하여 이르시기를 ^ㅏ이 땅을 네 씨에게 주리라 하셨으니 그가 ^ㅑ그 使者(사자)를 네 앞서 보내실지라 네가 거기서 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)할지니라
   
8. 萬一(만일) 女子(녀자)가 너를 좇아 오고자 아니하면 나의 이 ^ㅓ盟誓(맹서)가 너와 相關(상관)이 없나니 오직 내 아들을 데리고 그리로 가지 말지니라
   
9. 종이 이에 主人(주인) 아브라함의 환도뼈 아래 ^ㅕ손을 넣고 이 일에 對(대)하여 그에게 盟誓(맹서)하였더라
   
10. 이에 종이 그 主人(주인)의 약대 中(중) 열匹(필)을 取(취)하고 떠났는데 곧 그 主人(주인)의 모든 좋은 것을 가지고 떠나 ^ㅗ메소보다미아로 가서 나홀의 城(성)에 이르러
    

6. Abraham sprach zu ihm: Davor hüte "dich," daß du meinen Sohn nicht wieder dahin bringst.
   
7. Der "HERR," der Gott des "Himmels," der mich von meines Vaters Hause genommen hat und von meiner "Heimat," der mir geredet hat und mir auch geschworen hat und gesagt: Dies Land will ich deinem Samen "geben," der wird seine Engel vor dir her "senden," daß du meinem Sohn daselbst ein Weib nehmest.
   
8. So aber das Weib dir nicht folgen "will," so bist du dieses Eides quitt. Allein bringe meinen Sohn nicht wieder dorthin.
   
9. Da legte der Knecht seine Hand unter die Hüfte "Abrahams," seines "Herrn," und schwur ihm solches. {~}
   
10. Also nahm der Knecht zehn Kamele von den Kamelen seines Herrn und zog hin und hatte mit sich allerlei Güter seines Herrn und machte sich auf und zog nach Mesopotamien zu der Stadt Nahors.
    

6. "Make sure that you do not take my son back there," Abraham said.
   
7. "The LORD, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father's household and my native land and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, 'To your offspring I will give this land'--he will send his angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there.
   
8. If the woman is unwilling to come back with you, then you will be released from this oath of mine. Only do not take my son back there."
   
9. So the servant put his hand under the thigh of his master Abraham and swore an oath to him concerning this matter.
   
10. Then the servant took ten of his master's camels and left, taking with him all kinds of good things from his master. He set out for Aram Naharaim and made his way to the town of Nahor.
    

11. 그 약대를 城(성) 밖 우물 곁에 꿇렸으니 저녁 때라 ^ㅛ女人(녀인)들이 물을 길러 나올 때이었더라
    
12. 그가 가로되 ^ㅜ우리 主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와여 願(원)컨대 오늘날 ^ㅠ나로 順適(순적)히 만나게 하사 나의 主人(주인) 아브라함에게 恩惠(은혜)를 베푸시옵소서
    
13. 城(성) 中(중) 사람의 딸들이 물 길러 나오겠사오니 ^으내가 우물 곁에 섰다가
    
14. 한 少女(소녀)에게 이르기를 請(청)컨대 너는 물 항아리를 기울여 나로 마시게 하라 하리니 그의 對答(대답)이 마시라 내가 當身(당신)의 약대에게도 마시우리라 하면 ^이그는 主(주)께서 主(주)의 종 이삭을 爲(위)하여 定(정)하신 者(자)라 이로 因(인)하여 主(주)께서 나의 主人(주인)에게 恩惠(은혜) 베푸심을 내가 알겠나이다
    
15. 말을 마치지 못하여서 리브가가 물 항아리를 어깨에 메고 나오니 그는 아브라함의 同生(동생) 나홀의 아내 ^ㅐ밀가의 아들 브두엘의 所生(소생)이라
    

11. Da ließ er die Kamele sich lagern draußen vor der Stadt bei einem "Wasserbrunnen," des Abends um die "Zeit," wo die Weiber pflegten herauszugehen und Wasser zu "schöpfen,"
    
12. und sprach: "HERR," du Gott meines Herrn "Abraham," begegne mir heute und tue Barmherzigkeit an meinem Herrn Abraham!
    
13. Siehe, ich stehe hier bei dem "Wasserbrunnen," und der Leute Töchter in dieser Stadt werden "herauskommen," Wasser zu schöpfen.
    
14. Wenn nun eine Dirne "kommt," zu der ich spreche: Neige deinen "Krug," und laß mich "trinken," und sie sprechen wird: "Trinke," ich will deine Kamele auch tränken: das sei "die," die du deinem Diener Isaak beschert "hast," und daran werde ich "erkennen," daß du Barmherzigkeit an meinem Herrn getan habest.
    
15. Und ehe er ausgeredet "hatte," "siehe," da kam heraus "Rebekka," Bethuels "Tochter," der ein Sohn der Milka "war," welche "Nahors," Abrahams "Bruders," Weib "war," und trug einen Krug auf ihrer Achsel.
    

11. He had the camels kneel down near the well outside the town; it was toward evening, the time the women go out to draw water.
    
12. Then he prayed, "O LORD, God of my master Abraham, give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.
    
13. See, I am standing beside this spring, and the daughters of the townspeople are coming out to draw water.
    
14. May it be that when I say to a girl, 'Please let down your jar that I may have a drink,' and she says, 'Drink, and I'll water your camels too'--let her be the one you have chosen for your servant Isaac. By this I will know that you have shown kindness to my master."
    
15. Before he had finished praying, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel son of Milcah, who was the wife of Abraham's brother Nahor.
    

16. 그 少女(소녀)는 보기에 ^ㄱ甚(심)히 아리땁고 至今(지금)까지 男子(남자)가 가까이 하지 아니한 處女(처녀)더라 그가 우물에 내려가서 물을 그 물 항아리에 채워 가지고 올라오는지라
    
17. 종이 마주 달려가서 가로되 請(청)컨대 네 물 항아리의 물을 내게 조금 마시우라
    
18. 그가 가로되 主(주)여, 마시소서 하며 急(급)히 그 물 항아리를 손에 내려 마시게 하고
    
19. 마시우기를 다하고 가로되 當身(당신)의 약대도 爲(위)하여 물을 길어 그것들로 배불리 마시게 하리이다 하고
    
20. 急(급)히 물 항아리의 물을 구유에 붓고 다시 길으려고 우물로 달려가서 모든 약대를 爲(위)하여 긷는지라
    

16. Und sie war eine sehr schöne Dirne von "Angesicht," noch eine "Jungfrau," und kein Mann hatte sie erkannt. Die stieg hinab zum Brunnen und füllte den Krug und stieg herauf.
    
17. Da lief ihr der Knecht entgegen und sprach: Laß mich ein wenig Wasser aus deinem Kruge trinken.
    
18. Und sie sprach: "Trinke," mein Herr! und eilend ließ sie den Krug hernieder auf ihre Hand und gab ihm zu trinken.
    
19. Und da sie ihm zu trinken gegeben "hatte," sprach sie: Ich will deinen Kamelen auch "schöpfen," bis sie alle getrunken haben.
    
20. Und eilte und goß den Krug aus in die Tränke und lief abermals zum "Brunnen," zu "schöpfen," und schöpfte allen seinen Kamelen.
    

16. The girl was very beautiful, a virgin; no man had ever lain with her. She went down to the spring, filled her jar and came up again.
    
17. The servant hurried to meet her and said, "Please give me a little water from your jar."
    
18. "Drink, my lord," she said, and quickly lowered the jar to her hands and gave him a drink.
    
19. After she had given him a drink, she said, "I'll draw water for your camels too, until they have finished drinking."
    
20. So she quickly emptied her jar into the trough, ran back to the well to draw more water, and drew enough for all his camels.
    

21. 그 사람이 그를 默默(묵묵)히 注目(주목)하며 여호와께서 果然(과연) 平坦(평탄)한 길을 주신 與否(여부)를 알고자 하더니
    
22. 약대가 마시기를 다하매 그가 半(반) 세겔 中(중) 金(금)고리 한個(개)와, 열 세겔中(중) 金(금) 손목고리 한 雙(쌍)을 그에게 주며
    
23. 가로되 네가 뉘 딸이냐 請(청)컨대 내게 告(고)하라 네 父親(부친)의 집에 우리 留宿(유숙)할 곳이 있느냐
    
24. 그 女子(녀자)가 그에게 이르되 ^ㄴ나는 밀가가 나홀에게 낳은 아들 브두엘의 딸이니이다
    
25. 또 가로되 우리에게 짚과 보리가 足(족)하며 留宿(유숙)할 곳도 있나이다
    

21. Der Mann aber wunderte sich ihrer und schwieg "still," bis er "erkennete," ob der HERR zu seiner Reise Gnade gegeben hätte oder nicht.
    
22. Da nun die Kamele alle getrunken "hatten," nahm er einen goldenen "Reif," ein halbes Lot "schwer," und zwei Armringe an ihre "Hände," zehn Lot Goldes "schwer,"
    
23. und sprach: Wes Tochter bist du? das sage mir doch. Haben wir Raum in deines Vaters "Hause," zu beherbergen?
    
24. Sie sprach zu ihm: Ich bin Bethuels "Tochter," des Sohnes "Milkas," den sie dem Nahor geboren "hat,"
    
25. und sagte weiter zu ihm: Es ist auch viel Stroh und Futter bei uns und Raum "genug," zu beherbergen.
    

21. Without saying a word, the man watched her closely to learn whether or not the LORD had made his journey successful.
    
22. When the camels had finished drinking, the man took out a gold nose ring weighing a beka and two gold bracelets weighing ten shekels.
    
23. Then he asked, "Whose daughter are you? Please tell me, is there room in your father's house for us to spend the night?"
    
24. She answered him, "I am the daughter of Bethuel, the son that Milcah bore to Nahor."
    
25. And she added, "We have plenty of straw and fodder, as well as room for you to spend the night."
    

26. 이에 ^ㄷ그 사람이 머리를 숙여 여호와께 敬拜(경배)하고
    
27. 가로되 ^ㄹ나의 主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와를 讚頌(찬송)하나이다 나의 主人(주인)에게 ^ㅁ主(주)의 仁慈(인자)와 誠實(성실)을 끊이지 아니하셨사오며 여호와께서 ^ㅂ길에서 나를 引導(인도)하사 내 主人(주인)의 同生(동생)집에 이르게 하셨나이다 하니라
    
28. 少女(소녀)가 달려가서 이 일을 어미 집에 告(고)하였더니
    
29. 리브가에게 오라비가 있어 이름은 ^ㅅ라반이라 그가 우물로 달려가 그 사람에게 이르니
    
30. 그가 그 누이의 고리와 그 손의 손목고리를 보고 또 그 누이 리브가가 그 사람이 自己(자기)에게 이같이 말하더라 함을 듣고 그 사람에게로 나아감이라 때에 그가 우물가 약대 곁에 섰더라
    

26. Da neigte sich der Mann und betete den HERRN an
    
27. und sprach: Gelobt sei der "HERR," der Gott meines Herrn "Abraham," der seine Barmherzigkeit und seine Wahrheit nicht verlassen hat an meinem Herrn; denn der HERR hat mich den Weg geführt zum Hause des Bruders meines Herrn.
    
28. Und die Dirne lief und sagte solches alles an in ihrer Mutter Hause.
    
29. Und Rebekka hatte einen "Bruder," der hieß Laban; und Laban lief zu dem Mann draußen bei dem Brunnen.
    
30. Und als er sah den Reif und die Armringe an seiner Schwester Händen und hörte die Worte "Rebekkas," seiner "Schwester," daß sie sprach: Also hat mir der Mann "gesagt," kam er zu dem "Mann," und "siehe," er stand bei den Kamelen am Brunnen.
    

26. Then the man bowed down and worshiped the LORD,
    
27. saying, "Praise be to the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who has not abandoned his kindness and faithfulness to my master. As for me, the LORD has led me on the journey to the house of my master's relatives."
    
28. The girl ran and told her mother's household about these things.
    
29. Now Rebekah had a brother named Laban, and he hurried out to the man at the spring.
    
30. As soon as he had seen the nose ring, and the bracelets on his sister's arms, and had heard Rebekah tell what the man said to her, he went out to the man and found him standing by the camels near the spring.
    

31. 라반이 가로되 ^ㅇ여호와께 福(복)을 받은 者(자)여 들어오소서 어찌 밖에 섰나이까 내가 房(방)과 약대의 處所(처소)를 豫備(예비)하였나이다
    
32. 그 사람이 집으로 들어가매 라반이 약대의 짐을 부리고 ^ㅈ짚과 보리를 약대에게 주고 그 사람의 발과 그 縱者(종자)의 ^ㅊ발 씻을 물을 주고
    
33. 그 앞에 植物(식물)을 베푸니 그 사람이 가로되 내가 내 일을 陳述(진술)하기 前(전)에는 먹지 아니하겠나이다 라반이 가로되 말하소서
    
34. 그가 가로되 나는 아브라함의 종이니이다
    
35. ^ㅋ여호와께서 나의 主人(주인)에게 크게 福(복)을 주어 昌盛(창성)케 하시되 牛羊(우양)과, 銀金(은금)과, 奴婢(노비)와, 약대와, 나귀를 그에게 주셨고
    

31. Und er sprach: Komm "herein," du Gesegneter des HERRN! Warum stehst du draußen? Ich habe das Haus geräumt und für die Kamele auch Raum gemacht.
    
32. Also führte er den Mann ins Haus und zäumte die Kamele ab und gab ihnen Stroh und Futter und "Wasser," zu waschen seine Füße und die Füße der "Männer," die mit ihm "waren,"
    
33. und setzte ihnen Essen vor. Er sprach aber: Ich will nicht "essen," bis daß ich zuvor meine Sache vorgebracht habe. Sie antworteten: Sage an!
    
34. Er sprach: Ich bin Abrahams Knecht.
    
35. Und der HERR hat meinen Herrn reichlich "gesegnet," daß er groß geworden "ist," und hat ihm Schafe und "Ochsen," Silber und "Gold," Knechte und "Mägde," Kamele und Esel gegeben.
    

31. "Come, you who are blessed by the LORD," he said. "Why are you standing out here? I have prepared the house and a place for the camels."
    
32. So the man went to the house, and the camels were unloaded. Straw and fodder were brought for the camels, and water for him and his men to wash their feet.
    
33. Then food was set before him, but he said, "I will not eat until I have told you what I have to say." "Then tell us," Laban said.
    
34. So he said, "I am Abraham's servant.
    
35. The LORD has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, menservants and maidservants, and camels and donkeys.
    

36. 나의 主人(주인)의 婦人(부인) 사라가 ^ㅌ老年(로년)에 나의 主人(주인)에게 아들을 낳으매 主人(주인)이 ^ㅍ그 모든 所有(소유)를 그 아들에게 주었나이다
    
37. 나의 主人(주인)이 ^ㅎ나로 盟誓(맹서)하게 하여 가로되 너는 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 나 사는 땅 가나안 族屬(족속)의 딸 中(중)에서 아내를 擇(택)하지 말고
    
38. 내 아비 집 내 族屬(족속)에게로 가서 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)하라 하시기로
    
39. 내가 내 主人(주인)에게 말씀하되 或(혹) 女子(녀자)가 나를 좇지 아니하면 어찌 하리이까 한즉
    
40. 主人(주인)이 내게 이르되 ^ㅏ나의 섬기는 여호와께서 그 使者(사자)를 너와 함께 보내어 네게 ^ㅑ平坦(평탄)한 길을 주시리니 너는 내 族屬(족속) 中(중) 내 아비 집에서 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)할 것이니라
    

36. Dazu hat "Sara," meines Herrn "Weib," einen Sohn geboren meinem Herrn in seinem Alter; dem hat er alles "gegeben," was er hat.
    
37. Und mein Herr hat einen Eid von mir genommen und gesagt: Du sollst meinem Sohn kein Weib nehmen von den Töchtern der "Kanaaniter," in deren Land ich "wohne,"
    
38. sondern ziehe hin zu meines Vaters Hause und zu meinem Geschlecht; daselbst nimm meinem Sohn ein Weib.
    
39. Ich aber sprach zu meinem Herrn: "Wie," wenn mir das Weib nicht folgen will?
    
40. Da sprach er zu mir: Der "HERR," vor dem ich "wandle," wird seinen Engel mit dir senden und Gnade zu deiner Reise "geben," daß du meinem Sohn ein Weib nehmest von meiner Freundschaft und meines Vaters Hause.
    

36. My master's wife Sarah has borne him a son in her old age, and he has given him everything he owns.
    
37. And my master made me swear an oath, and said, 'You must not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I live,
    
38. but go to my father's family and to my own clan, and get a wife for my son.'
    
39. "Then I asked my master, 'What if the woman will not come back with me?'
    
40. "He replied, 'The LORD, before whom I have walked, will send his angel with you and make your journey a success, so that you can get a wife for my son from my own clan and from my father's family.
    

41. 네가 내 族屬(족속)에게 이를 때에는 네가 내 盟誓(맹서)와 相關(상관)이 없으리라 設或(설혹) 그들이 네게 주지 아니할지라도 네가 내 盟誓(맹서)와 相關(상관)이 없으리라 하시기로
    
42. 내가 오늘 우물에 이르러 말씀하기를 나의 ^ㅓ主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와여 萬一(만일) 나의 行(행)하는 길에 亨通(형통)함을 주실진대
    
43. 내가 이 ^ㅕ우물 곁에 섰다가 靑年(청년) 女子(녀자)가 물을 길러 오거든 내가 그에게 請(청)하기를 너는 물 항아리의 물을 내게 조금 마시우라 하여
    
44. ^ㅗ그의 對答(대답)이 當身(당신)은 마시라 내가 또 當身(당신)의 약대를 爲(위)하여도 길으리라 하면 그 女子(녀자)는 여호와께서 나의 主人(주인)의 아들을 爲(위)하여 定(정)하여 주신 者(자)가 되리이다 하며
    
45. 내가 ^ㅛ默禱(묵도)하기를 마치지 못하여 리브가가 물 항아리를 어깨에 메고 나와서 우물로 내려와 긷기로 내가 그에게 이르기를 請(청)컨대 내게 마시우라 한즉
    

41. Alsdann sollst du meines Eides quitt "sein," wenn du zu meiner Freundschaft kommst; geben sie dir sie "nicht," so bist du meines Eides quitt.
    
42. Also kam ich heute zum Brunnen und sprach: "HERR," Gott meines Herrn "Abraham," hast du Gnade zu meiner Reise "gegeben," auf der ich "bin,"
    
43. siehe, so stehe ich hier bei dem Wasserbrunnen. Wenn nun eine Jungfrau "herauskommt," zu "schöpfen," und ich zu ihr spreche: Gib mir ein wenig Wasser zu trinken aus deinem "Krug,"
    
44. und sie wird sagen: Trinke "du," ich will deinen Kamelen auch schöpfen: die sei das "Weib," das der HERR meines Herrn Sohne beschert hat.
    
45. Ehe ich nun solche Worte ausgeredet hatte in meinem "Herzen," "siehe," da kommt Rebekka heraus mit einem Krug auf ihrer Achsel und geht hinab zum Brunnen und schöpft. Da sprach ich zu ihr: Gib mir zu trinken.
    

41. Then, when you go to my clan, you will be released from my oath even if they refuse to give her to you--you will be released from my oath.'
    
42. "When I came to the spring today, I said, 'O LORD, God of my master Abraham, if you will, please grant success to the journey on which I have come.
    
43. See, I am standing beside this spring; if a maiden comes out to draw water and I say to her, "Please let me drink a little water from your jar,"
    
44. and if she says to me, "Drink, and I'll draw water for your camels too," let her be the one the LORD has chosen for my master's son.'
    
45. "Before I finished praying in my heart, Rebekah came out, with her jar on her shoulder. She went down to the spring and drew water, and I said to her, 'Please give me a drink.'
    

46. 그가 急(급)히 물 항아리를 어깨에서 내리며 가로되 마시라 내가 當身(당신)의 약대에게도 마시우리라 하기로 내가 마시매 그가 또 약대에게도 마시운지라
    
47. 내가 그에게 묻기를 네가 뉘 딸이뇨 한즉 가로되 밀가가 나홀에게 낳은 브두엘의 딸이라 하기로 ^ㅜ내가 고리를 그 코에 꿰고 손목고리를 그 손에 끼우고
    
48. 나의 主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와께서 나를 바른 길로 引導(인도)하사 나의 ^ㅠ主人(주인)의 同生(동생)의 딸을 그 아들을 爲(위)하여 擇(택)하게 하셨으므로 내가 ^으머리를 숙여 그에게 敬拜(경배)하고 讚頌(찬송)하였나이다
    
49. 이제 當身(당신)들이 ^이仁慈(인자)와 眞實(진실)로 나의 主人(주인)을 待接(대접)하려거든 내게 告(고)하시고 그렇지 않을지라도 내게 告(고)하여 나로 左右間(좌우간) 行(행)하게 하소서
    
50. 라반과 브두엘이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 이 일이 여호와께로 말미암았으니 우리는 ^ㅐ可否(가부)를 말할 수 없노라
    

46. Und sie nahm eilend den Krug von ihrer Achsel und sprach: "Trinke," und deine Kamele will ich auch tränken. Also trank "ich," und sie tränkte die Kamele auch.
    
47. Und ich fragte sie und sprach: Wes Tochter bist du? Sie antwortete: Ich bin Bethuels "Tochter," des Sohnes "Nahors," den ihm Milka geboren hat. Da legte ich einen Reif an ihre Stirn und Armringe an ihre Hände
    
48. und neigte mich und betete den HERRN an und lobte den "HERRN," den Gott meines Herrn "Abraham," der mich den rechten Weg geführt "hat," daß ich seinem Sohn die Tochter nehme des Bruders meines Herrn.
    
49. Seid ihr nun "die," so an meinem Herrn Freundschaft und Treue beweisen "wollen," so sagt mir's; wo "nicht," so sagt mir's "auch," daß ich mich wende zur Rechten oder zur Linken.
    
50. Da antworteten Laban und Bethuel und sprachen: Das kommt vom HERRN; darum können wir nicht wider dich "reden," weder Böses noch Gutes;
    

46. "She quickly lowered her jar from her shoulder and said, 'Drink, and I'll water your camels too.' So I drank, and she watered the camels also.
    
47. "I asked her, 'Whose daughter are you?' "She said, 'The daughter of Bethuel son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore to him.' "Then I put the ring in her nose and the bracelets on her arms,
    
48. and I bowed down and worshiped the LORD. I praised the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who had led me on the right road to get the granddaughter of my master's brother for his son.
    
49. Now if you will show kindness and faithfulness to my master, tell me; and if not, tell me, so I may know which way to turn."
    
50. Laban and Bethuel answered, "This is from the LORD; we can say nothing to you one way or the other.
    

51. 리브가가 그대 앞에 있으니 데리고 가서 ^ㄱ여호와의 命(명)대로 그로 그대의 主人(주인)의 아들의 아내가 되게 하라
    
52. 아브라함의 종이 그들의 말을 듣고 땅에 엎드리어 여호와께 절하고
    
53. 銀金(은금) 佩物(패물)과 衣服(의복)을 꺼내어 리브가에게 주고 그 오라비와 어미에게도 寶物(보물)을 주니라
    
54. 이에 그들 곧 종과 縱者(종자)들이 먹고 마시고 留宿(유숙)하고 아침에 일어나서 그가 가로되 ^ㄴ나를 보내어 내 主人(주인)에게로 돌아가게 하소서
    
55. 리브가의 오라비와 그 어미가 가로되 少女(소녀)로 며칠을 적어도 열흘을 우리와 함께 있게 하라 그 後(후)에 그가 갈 것이니라
    

51. da ist Rebekka vor "dir," nimm sie und zieh "hin," daß sie das Weib sei des Sohnes deines "Herrn," wie der HERR geredet hat.
    
52. Da diese Worte hörte Abrahams "Knecht," bückte er sich vor dem Herrn zur Erde
    
53. und zog hervor silberne und goldene Kleinode und Kleider und gab sie Rebekka; aber ihrem Bruder und der Mutter gab er Würze. {~}
    
54. Da aß und trank er samt den "Männern," die mit ihm "waren," und blieb über Nacht allda. Des Morgens aber stand er auf und sprach: Laß mich ziehen zu meinem Herrn.
    
55. Aber ihr Bruder und ihre Mutter sprachen: Laß doch die Dirne einen Tag oder zehn bei uns bleiben; darnach sollst du ziehen.
    

51. Here is Rebekah; take her and go, and let her become the wife of your master's son, as the LORD has directed."
    
52. When Abraham's servant heard what they said, he bowed down to the ground before the LORD.
    
53. Then the servant brought out gold and silver jewelry and articles of clothing and gave them to Rebekah; he also gave costly gifts to her brother and to her mother.
    
54. Then he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night there. When they got up the next morning, he said, "Send me on my way to my master."
    
55. But her brother and her mother replied, "Let the girl remain with us ten days or so; then you may go."
    

56. 그 사람이 그들에게 이르되 나를 挽留(만류)치 마소서 여호와께서 내게 亨通(형통)한 길을 주셨으니 나를 보내어 내 主人(주인)에게로 돌아가게 하소서
    
57. 그들이 가로되 우리가 少女(소녀)를 불러 그에게 물으리라 하고
    
58. 리브가를 불러 그에게 이르되 네가 이 사람과 함께 가려느냐 그가 對答(대답)하되 가겠나이다
    
59. 그들이 그 누이 리브가와 ^ㄷ그의 乳母(유모)와 아브라함의 종과 縱者(종자)들을 보내며
    
60. 리브가에게 祝福(축복)하여 가로되 우리 누이여 너는 ^ㄹ千萬人(천만인)의 어미가 될지어다 ^ㅁ네 씨로 그 怨讐(원수)의 城門(성문)을 얻게 할찌어다
    

56. Da sprach er zu ihnen: Haltet mich nicht auf; denn der HERR hat Gnade zu meiner Reise gegeben. Laßt "mich," daß ich zu meinem Herrn ziehe.
    
57. Da sprachen sie: Laßt uns die Dirne rufen und "fragen," was sie dazu sagt.
    
58. Und sie riefen Rebekka und sprachen zu ihr: Willst du mit diesem Mann ziehen? Sie antwortete: "Ja," ich will mit ihm.
    
59. Also ließen sie "Rebekka," ihre "Schwester," ziehen mit ihrer Amme samt Abrahams Knecht und seinen Leuten.
    
60. Und sie segneten Rebekka und sprachen zu ihr: Du bist unsre Schwester; wachse in vieltausendmal "tausend," und dein Same besitze die Tore seiner Feinde.
    

56. But he said to them, "Do not detain me, now that the LORD has granted success to my journey. Send me on my way so I may go to my master."
    
57. Then they said, "Let's call the girl and ask her about it."
    
58. So they called Rebekah and asked her, "Will you go with this man?" "I will go," she said.
    
59. So they sent their sister Rebekah on her way, along with her nurse and Abraham's servant and his men.
    
60. And they blessed Rebekah and said to her, "Our sister, may you increase to thousands upon thousands; may your offspring possess the gates of their enemies."
    

61. 리브가가 일어나 婢子(비자)와 함께 약대를 타고 그 사람을 따라가니 종이 리브가를 데리고 가니라
    
62. 때에 이삭이 ^ㅂ브엘 라해로이에서 왔으니 그가 南方(남방)에 居(거)하였었음이라
    
63. 이삭이 저물 때에 들에 나가 ^ㅅ默想(묵상)하다가 눈을 들어 보매 약대들이 오더라
    
64. 리브가가 눈을 들어 이삭을 바라보고 약대에서 내려
    
65. 종에게 말하되 들에서 徘徊(배회)하다가 우리에게로 마주 오는 者(자)가 누구뇨 종이 가로되 이는 내 主人(주인)이니이다 리브가가 면박을 取(취)하여 스스로 가리우더라
    

61. Also machte sich Rebekka auf mit ihren "Dirnen," und setzten sich auf die Kamele und zogen dem Manne nach. Und der Knecht nahm Rebekka und zog hin.
    
62. Isaak aber kam vom Brunnen des Lebendigen und Sehenden (denn er wohnte im Lande gegen Mittag)
    
63. und war "ausgegangen," zu beten auf dem Felde um den "Abend," und hob seine Augen auf und "sah," daß Kamele daherkamen.
    
64. Und Rebekka hob ihre Augen auf und sah Isaak; da stieg sie eilend vom Kamel
    
65. und sprach zu dem Knecht: Wer ist der Mann auf dem Felde? Der Knecht sprach: Das ist mein Herr. Da nahm sie den Mantel und verhüllte sich. {~} {~}
    

61. Then Rebekah and her maids got ready and mounted their camels and went back with the man. So the servant took Rebekah and left.
    
62. Now Isaac had come from Beer Lahai Roi, for he was living in the Negev.
    
63. He went out to the field one evening to meditate, and as he looked up, he saw camels approaching.
    
64. Rebekah also looked up and saw Isaac. She got down from her camel
    
65. and asked the servant, "Who is that man in the field coming to meet us?" "He is my master," the servant answered. So she took her veil and covered herself.
    

66. 종이 그 行(행)한 일을 다 이삭에게 告(고)하매
    
67. 이삭이 리브가를 引導(인도)하여 母親(모친) 사라의 帳幕(장막)으로 들이고 그를 取(취)하여 아내를 삼고 사랑하였으니 이삭이 ^ㅇ母親(모친) 喪事(상사) 後(후)에 ^ㅈ慰勞(위로)를 얻었더라
    

66. Und der Knecht erzählte Isaak alle "Sachen," die er ausgerichtet hatte.
    
67. Da führte sie Isaak in die Hütte seiner Mutter Sara und nahm die Rebekka und sie war sein "Weib," und er gewann sie lieb. Also ward Isaak getröstet über seine Mutter.
    

66. Then the servant told Isaac all he had done.
    
67. Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.
