창세기(Genèse) 24장 [개역한글 : LSG1910 : NIV]

1. 아브라함이 나이 많아 늙었고 여호와께서 그의 ^ㅈ凡事(범사)에 福(복)을 주셨더라
   
2. 아브라함이 ^ㅊ自己(자기) 집 모든 所有(소유)를 맡은 늙은 종에게 이르되 請(청)컨대 ^ㅋ네 손을 내 환도뼈 밑에 넣으라
   
3. 내가 너로 하늘의 하나님, 땅의 하나님이신 여호와를 가리켜 盟誓(맹서)하게 하노니 너는 나의 居(거)하는 이 地方(지방) 가나안 族屬(족속)의 딸 中(중)에서 ^ㅌ내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)하지 말고
   
4. ^ㅍ내 故鄕(고향) 내 族屬(족속)에게로 가서 내 아들 이삭을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)하라
   
5. 종이 가로되 女子(녀자)가 나를 좇아 이 땅으로 오고자 아니하거든 내가 主人(주인)의 아들을 主人(주인)의 나오신 땅으로 引導(인도)하여 돌아가리이까
   

1. Abraham était vieux, avancé en âge; et l'Éternel avait béni Abraham en toute chose.
   
2. Abraham dit à son serviteur, le plus ancien de sa maison, l'intendant de tous ses biens: Mets, je te prie, ta main sous ma cuisse;
   
3. et je te ferai jurer par l'Éternel, le Dieu du ciel et le Dieu de la terre, de ne pas prendre pour mon fils une femme parmi les filles des Cananéens au milieu desquels j'habite,
   
4. mais d'aller dans mon pays et dans ma patrie prendre une femme pour mon fils Isaac.
   
5. Le serviteur lui répondit: Peut-être la femme ne voudra-t-elle pas me suivre dans ce pays-ci; devrai-je mener ton fils dans le pays d'où tu es sorti?
   

1. Abraham was now old and well advanced in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way.
   
2. He said to the chief servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had, "Put your hand under my thigh.
   
3. I want you to swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living,
   
4. but will go to my country and my own relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac."
   
5. The servant asked him, "What if the woman is unwilling to come back with me to this land? Shall I then take your son back to the country you came from?"
   

6. 아브라함이 그에게 이르되 삼가 내 아들을 그리로 데리고 돌아가지 말라
   
7. 하늘의 하나님 여호와께서 ^ㅎ나를 내 아버지의 집과 내 本土(본토)에서 떠나게 하시고 내게 말씀하시며 내게 盟誓(맹서)하여 이르시기를 ^ㅏ이 땅을 네 씨에게 주리라 하셨으니 그가 ^ㅑ그 使者(사자)를 네 앞서 보내실지라 네가 거기서 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)할지니라
   
8. 萬一(만일) 女子(녀자)가 너를 좇아 오고자 아니하면 나의 이 ^ㅓ盟誓(맹서)가 너와 相關(상관)이 없나니 오직 내 아들을 데리고 그리로 가지 말지니라
   
9. 종이 이에 主人(주인) 아브라함의 환도뼈 아래 ^ㅕ손을 넣고 이 일에 對(대)하여 그에게 盟誓(맹서)하였더라
   
10. 이에 종이 그 主人(주인)의 약대 中(중) 열匹(필)을 取(취)하고 떠났는데 곧 그 主人(주인)의 모든 좋은 것을 가지고 떠나 ^ㅗ메소보다미아로 가서 나홀의 城(성)에 이르러
    

6. Abraham lui dit: Garde-toi d'y mener mon fils!
   
7. L'Éternel, le Dieu du ciel, qui m'a fait sortir de la maison de mon père et de ma patrie, qui m'a parlé et qui m'a juré, en disant: Je donnerai ce pays à ta postérité, lui-même enverra son ange devant toi; et c'est de là que tu prendras une femme pour mon fils.
   
8. Si la femme ne veut pas te suivre, tu seras dégagé de ce serment que je te fais faire. Seulement, tu n'y mèneras pas mon fils.
   
9. Le serviteur mit sa main sous la cuisse d'Abraham, son seigneur, et lui jura d'observer ces choses.
   
10. Le serviteur prit dix chameaux parmi les chameaux de son seigneur, et il partit, ayant à sa disposition tous les biens de son seigneur. Il se leva, et alla en Mésopotamie, à la ville de Nachor.
    

6. "Make sure that you do not take my son back there," Abraham said.
   
7. "The LORD, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father's household and my native land and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, 'To your offspring I will give this land'--he will send his angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there.
   
8. If the woman is unwilling to come back with you, then you will be released from this oath of mine. Only do not take my son back there."
   
9. So the servant put his hand under the thigh of his master Abraham and swore an oath to him concerning this matter.
   
10. Then the servant took ten of his master's camels and left, taking with him all kinds of good things from his master. He set out for Aram Naharaim and made his way to the town of Nahor.
    

11. 그 약대를 城(성) 밖 우물 곁에 꿇렸으니 저녁 때라 ^ㅛ女人(녀인)들이 물을 길러 나올 때이었더라
    
12. 그가 가로되 ^ㅜ우리 主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와여 願(원)컨대 오늘날 ^ㅠ나로 順適(순적)히 만나게 하사 나의 主人(주인) 아브라함에게 恩惠(은혜)를 베푸시옵소서
    
13. 城(성) 中(중) 사람의 딸들이 물 길러 나오겠사오니 ^으내가 우물 곁에 섰다가
    
14. 한 少女(소녀)에게 이르기를 請(청)컨대 너는 물 항아리를 기울여 나로 마시게 하라 하리니 그의 對答(대답)이 마시라 내가 當身(당신)의 약대에게도 마시우리라 하면 ^이그는 主(주)께서 主(주)의 종 이삭을 爲(위)하여 定(정)하신 者(자)라 이로 因(인)하여 主(주)께서 나의 主人(주인)에게 恩惠(은혜) 베푸심을 내가 알겠나이다
    
15. 말을 마치지 못하여서 리브가가 물 항아리를 어깨에 메고 나오니 그는 아브라함의 同生(동생) 나홀의 아내 ^ㅐ밀가의 아들 브두엘의 所生(소생)이라
    

11. Il fit reposer les chameaux sur leurs genoux hors de la ville, près d'un puits, au temps du soir, au temps où sortent celles qui vont puiser de l'eau.
    
12. Et il dit: Éternel, Dieu de mon seigneur Abraham, fais-moi, je te prie, rencontrer aujourd'hui ce que je désire, et use de bonté envers mon seigneur Abraham!
    
13. Voici, je me tiens près de la source d'eau, et les filles des gens de la ville vont sortir pour puiser l'eau.
    
14. Que la jeune fille à laquelle je dirai: Penche ta cruche, je te prie, pour que je boive, et qui répondra: Bois, et je donnerai aussi à boire à tes chameaux, soit celle que tu as destinée à ton serviteur Isaac! Et par là je connaîtrai que tu uses de bonté envers mon seigneur.
    
15. Il n'avait pas encore fini de parler que sortit, sa cruche sur l'épaule, Rebecca, née de Bethuel, fils de Milca, femme de Nachor, frère d'Abraham.
    

11. He had the camels kneel down near the well outside the town; it was toward evening, the time the women go out to draw water.
    
12. Then he prayed, "O LORD, God of my master Abraham, give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.
    
13. See, I am standing beside this spring, and the daughters of the townspeople are coming out to draw water.
    
14. May it be that when I say to a girl, 'Please let down your jar that I may have a drink,' and she says, 'Drink, and I'll water your camels too'--let her be the one you have chosen for your servant Isaac. By this I will know that you have shown kindness to my master."
    
15. Before he had finished praying, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel son of Milcah, who was the wife of Abraham's brother Nahor.
    

16. 그 少女(소녀)는 보기에 ^ㄱ甚(심)히 아리땁고 至今(지금)까지 男子(남자)가 가까이 하지 아니한 處女(처녀)더라 그가 우물에 내려가서 물을 그 물 항아리에 채워 가지고 올라오는지라
    
17. 종이 마주 달려가서 가로되 請(청)컨대 네 물 항아리의 물을 내게 조금 마시우라
    
18. 그가 가로되 主(주)여, 마시소서 하며 急(급)히 그 물 항아리를 손에 내려 마시게 하고
    
19. 마시우기를 다하고 가로되 當身(당신)의 약대도 爲(위)하여 물을 길어 그것들로 배불리 마시게 하리이다 하고
    
20. 急(급)히 물 항아리의 물을 구유에 붓고 다시 길으려고 우물로 달려가서 모든 약대를 爲(위)하여 긷는지라
    

16. C'était une jeune fille très belle de figure; elle était vierge, et aucun homme ne l'avait connue. Elle descendit à la source, remplit sa cruche, et remonta.
    
17. Le serviteur courut au-devant d'elle, et dit: Laisse-moi boire, je te prie, un peu d'eau de ta cruche.
    
18. Elle répondit: Bois, mon seigneur. Et elle s'empressa d'abaisser sa cruche sur sa main, et de lui donner à boire.
    
19. Quand elle eut achevé de lui donner à boire, elle dit: Je puiserai aussi pour tes chameaux, jusqu'à ce qu'ils aient assez bu.
    
20. Et elle s'empressa de vider sa cruche dans l'abreuvoir, et courut encore au puits pour puiser; et elle puisa pour tous les chameaux.
    

16. The girl was very beautiful, a virgin; no man had ever lain with her. She went down to the spring, filled her jar and came up again.
    
17. The servant hurried to meet her and said, "Please give me a little water from your jar."
    
18. "Drink, my lord," she said, and quickly lowered the jar to her hands and gave him a drink.
    
19. After she had given him a drink, she said, "I'll draw water for your camels too, until they have finished drinking."
    
20. So she quickly emptied her jar into the trough, ran back to the well to draw more water, and drew enough for all his camels.
    

21. 그 사람이 그를 默默(묵묵)히 注目(주목)하며 여호와께서 果然(과연) 平坦(평탄)한 길을 주신 與否(여부)를 알고자 하더니
    
22. 약대가 마시기를 다하매 그가 半(반) 세겔 中(중) 金(금)고리 한個(개)와, 열 세겔中(중) 金(금) 손목고리 한 雙(쌍)을 그에게 주며
    
23. 가로되 네가 뉘 딸이냐 請(청)컨대 내게 告(고)하라 네 父親(부친)의 집에 우리 留宿(유숙)할 곳이 있느냐
    
24. 그 女子(녀자)가 그에게 이르되 ^ㄴ나는 밀가가 나홀에게 낳은 아들 브두엘의 딸이니이다
    
25. 또 가로되 우리에게 짚과 보리가 足(족)하며 留宿(유숙)할 곳도 있나이다
    

21. L'homme la regardait avec étonnement et sans rien dire, pour voir si l'Éternel faisait réussir son voyage, ou non.
    
22. Quand les chameaux eurent fini de boire, l'homme prit un anneau d'or, du poids d'un demi-sicle, et deux bracelets, du poids de dix sicles d'or.
    
23. Et il dit: De qui es-tu fille? dis-le moi, je te prie. Y a-t-il dans la maison de ton père de la place pour passer la nuit?
    
24. Elle répondit: Je suis fille de Bethuel, fils de Milca et de Nachor.
    
25. Elle lui dit encore: Il y a chez nous de la paille et du fourrage en abondance, et aussi de la place pour passer la nuit.
    

21. Without saying a word, the man watched her closely to learn whether or not the LORD had made his journey successful.
    
22. When the camels had finished drinking, the man took out a gold nose ring weighing a beka and two gold bracelets weighing ten shekels.
    
23. Then he asked, "Whose daughter are you? Please tell me, is there room in your father's house for us to spend the night?"
    
24. She answered him, "I am the daughter of Bethuel, the son that Milcah bore to Nahor."
    
25. And she added, "We have plenty of straw and fodder, as well as room for you to spend the night."
    

26. 이에 ^ㄷ그 사람이 머리를 숙여 여호와께 敬拜(경배)하고
    
27. 가로되 ^ㄹ나의 主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와를 讚頌(찬송)하나이다 나의 主人(주인)에게 ^ㅁ主(주)의 仁慈(인자)와 誠實(성실)을 끊이지 아니하셨사오며 여호와께서 ^ㅂ길에서 나를 引導(인도)하사 내 主人(주인)의 同生(동생)집에 이르게 하셨나이다 하니라
    
28. 少女(소녀)가 달려가서 이 일을 어미 집에 告(고)하였더니
    
29. 리브가에게 오라비가 있어 이름은 ^ㅅ라반이라 그가 우물로 달려가 그 사람에게 이르니
    
30. 그가 그 누이의 고리와 그 손의 손목고리를 보고 또 그 누이 리브가가 그 사람이 自己(자기)에게 이같이 말하더라 함을 듣고 그 사람에게로 나아감이라 때에 그가 우물가 약대 곁에 섰더라
    

26. Alors l'homme s'inclina et se prosterna devant l'Éternel,
    
27. en disant: Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu de mon seigneur Abraham, qui n'a pas renoncé à sa miséricorde et à sa fidélité envers mon seigneur! Moi-même, l'Éternel m'a conduit à la maison des frères de mon seigneur.
    
28. La jeune fille courut raconter ces choses à la maison de sa mère.
    
29. Rebecca avait un frère, nommé Laban. Et Laban courut dehors vers l'homme, près de la source.
    
30. Il avait vu l'anneau et les bracelets aux mains de sa soeur, et il avait entendu les paroles de Rebecca, sa soeur, disant: Ainsi m'a parlé l'homme. Il vint donc à cet homme qui se tenait auprès des chameaux, vers la source,
    

26. Then the man bowed down and worshiped the LORD,
    
27. saying, "Praise be to the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who has not abandoned his kindness and faithfulness to my master. As for me, the LORD has led me on the journey to the house of my master's relatives."
    
28. The girl ran and told her mother's household about these things.
    
29. Now Rebekah had a brother named Laban, and he hurried out to the man at the spring.
    
30. As soon as he had seen the nose ring, and the bracelets on his sister's arms, and had heard Rebekah tell what the man said to her, he went out to the man and found him standing by the camels near the spring.
    

31. 라반이 가로되 ^ㅇ여호와께 福(복)을 받은 者(자)여 들어오소서 어찌 밖에 섰나이까 내가 房(방)과 약대의 處所(처소)를 豫備(예비)하였나이다
    
32. 그 사람이 집으로 들어가매 라반이 약대의 짐을 부리고 ^ㅈ짚과 보리를 약대에게 주고 그 사람의 발과 그 縱者(종자)의 ^ㅊ발 씻을 물을 주고
    
33. 그 앞에 植物(식물)을 베푸니 그 사람이 가로되 내가 내 일을 陳述(진술)하기 前(전)에는 먹지 아니하겠나이다 라반이 가로되 말하소서
    
34. 그가 가로되 나는 아브라함의 종이니이다
    
35. ^ㅋ여호와께서 나의 主人(주인)에게 크게 福(복)을 주어 昌盛(창성)케 하시되 牛羊(우양)과, 銀金(은금)과, 奴婢(노비)와, 약대와, 나귀를 그에게 주셨고
    

31. "Come, you who are blessed by the LORD," he said. "Why are you standing out here? I have prepared the house and a place for the camels."
    
32. So the man went to the house, and the camels were unloaded. Straw and fodder were brought for the camels, and water for him and his men to wash their feet.
    
33. Then food was set before him, but he said, "I will not eat until I have told you what I have to say." "Then tell us," Laban said.
    
34. So he said, "I am Abraham's servant.
    
35. The LORD has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, menservants and maidservants, and camels and donkeys.
    

36. 나의 主人(주인)의 婦人(부인) 사라가 ^ㅌ老年(로년)에 나의 主人(주인)에게 아들을 낳으매 主人(주인)이 ^ㅍ그 모든 所有(소유)를 그 아들에게 주었나이다
    
37. 나의 主人(주인)이 ^ㅎ나로 盟誓(맹서)하게 하여 가로되 너는 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 나 사는 땅 가나안 族屬(족속)의 딸 中(중)에서 아내를 擇(택)하지 말고
    
38. 내 아비 집 내 族屬(족속)에게로 가서 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)하라 하시기로
    
39. 내가 내 主人(주인)에게 말씀하되 或(혹) 女子(녀자)가 나를 좇지 아니하면 어찌 하리이까 한즉
    
40. 主人(주인)이 내게 이르되 ^ㅏ나의 섬기는 여호와께서 그 使者(사자)를 너와 함께 보내어 네게 ^ㅑ平坦(평탄)한 길을 주시리니 너는 내 族屬(족속) 中(중) 내 아비 집에서 내 아들을 爲(위)하여 아내를 擇(택)할 것이니라
    

36. Sara, la femme de mon seigneur, a enfanté dans sa vieillesse un fils à mon seigneur; et il lui a donné tout ce qu'il possède.
    
37. Mon seigneur m'a fait jurer, en disant: Tu ne prendras pas pour mon fils une femme parmi les filles des Cananéens, dans le pays desquels j'habite;
    
38. mais tu iras dans la maison de mon père et de ma famille prendre une femme pour mon fils.
    
39. J'ai dit à mon seigneur: Peut-être la femme ne voudra-t-elle pas me suivre.
    
40. Et il m'a répondu: L'Éternel, devant qui j'ai marché, enverra son ange avec toi, et fera réussir ton voyage; et tu prendras pour mon fils une femme de la famille et de la maison de mon père.
    

36. My master's wife Sarah has borne him a son in her old age, and he has given him everything he owns.
    
37. And my master made me swear an oath, and said, 'You must not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I live,
    
38. but go to my father's family and to my own clan, and get a wife for my son.'
    
39. "Then I asked my master, 'What if the woman will not come back with me?'
    
40. "He replied, 'The LORD, before whom I have walked, will send his angel with you and make your journey a success, so that you can get a wife for my son from my own clan and from my father's family.
    

41. 네가 내 族屬(족속)에게 이를 때에는 네가 내 盟誓(맹서)와 相關(상관)이 없으리라 設或(설혹) 그들이 네게 주지 아니할지라도 네가 내 盟誓(맹서)와 相關(상관)이 없으리라 하시기로
    
42. 내가 오늘 우물에 이르러 말씀하기를 나의 ^ㅓ主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와여 萬一(만일) 나의 行(행)하는 길에 亨通(형통)함을 주실진대
    
43. 내가 이 ^ㅕ우물 곁에 섰다가 靑年(청년) 女子(녀자)가 물을 길러 오거든 내가 그에게 請(청)하기를 너는 물 항아리의 물을 내게 조금 마시우라 하여
    
44. ^ㅗ그의 對答(대답)이 當身(당신)은 마시라 내가 또 當身(당신)의 약대를 爲(위)하여도 길으리라 하면 그 女子(녀자)는 여호와께서 나의 主人(주인)의 아들을 爲(위)하여 定(정)하여 주신 者(자)가 되리이다 하며
    
45. 내가 ^ㅛ默禱(묵도)하기를 마치지 못하여 리브가가 물 항아리를 어깨에 메고 나와서 우물로 내려와 긷기로 내가 그에게 이르기를 請(청)컨대 내게 마시우라 한즉
    

41. Tu seras dégagé du serment que tu me fais, quand tu auras été vers ma famille; si on ne te l'accorde pas, tu seras dégagé du serment que tu me fais.
    
42. Je suis arrivé aujourd'hui à la source, et j'ai dit: Éternel, Dieu de mon seigneur Abraham, si tu daignes faire réussir le voyage que j'accomplis,
    
43. voici, je me tiens près de la source d'eau, et que la jeune fille qui sortira pour puiser, à qui je dirai: Laisse-moi boire, je te prie, un peu d'eau de ta cruche, et qui me répondra:
    
44. Bois toi-même, et je puiserai aussi pour tes chameaux, que cette jeune fille soit la femme que l'Éternel a destinée au fils de mon seigneur!
    
45. Avant que j'eusse fini de parler en mon coeur, voici, Rebecca est sortie, sa cruche sur l'épaule; elle est descendue à la source, et a puisé. Je lui ai dit: Donne-moi à boire, je te prie.
    

41. Then, when you go to my clan, you will be released from my oath even if they refuse to give her to you--you will be released from my oath.'
    
42. "When I came to the spring today, I said, 'O LORD, God of my master Abraham, if you will, please grant success to the journey on which I have come.
    
43. See, I am standing beside this spring; if a maiden comes out to draw water and I say to her, "Please let me drink a little water from your jar,"
    
44. and if she says to me, "Drink, and I'll draw water for your camels too," let her be the one the LORD has chosen for my master's son.'
    
45. "Before I finished praying in my heart, Rebekah came out, with her jar on her shoulder. She went down to the spring and drew water, and I said to her, 'Please give me a drink.'
    

46. 그가 急(급)히 물 항아리를 어깨에서 내리며 가로되 마시라 내가 當身(당신)의 약대에게도 마시우리라 하기로 내가 마시매 그가 또 약대에게도 마시운지라
    
47. 내가 그에게 묻기를 네가 뉘 딸이뇨 한즉 가로되 밀가가 나홀에게 낳은 브두엘의 딸이라 하기로 ^ㅜ내가 고리를 그 코에 꿰고 손목고리를 그 손에 끼우고
    
48. 나의 主人(주인) 아브라함의 하나님 여호와께서 나를 바른 길로 引導(인도)하사 나의 ^ㅠ主人(주인)의 同生(동생)의 딸을 그 아들을 爲(위)하여 擇(택)하게 하셨으므로 내가 ^으머리를 숙여 그에게 敬拜(경배)하고 讚頌(찬송)하였나이다
    
49. 이제 當身(당신)들이 ^이仁慈(인자)와 眞實(진실)로 나의 主人(주인)을 待接(대접)하려거든 내게 告(고)하시고 그렇지 않을지라도 내게 告(고)하여 나로 左右間(좌우간) 行(행)하게 하소서
    
50. 라반과 브두엘이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 이 일이 여호와께로 말미암았으니 우리는 ^ㅐ可否(가부)를 말할 수 없노라
    

46. Elle s'est empressée d'abaisser sa cruche de dessus son épaule, et elle a dit: Bois, et je donnerai aussi à boire à tes chameaux. J'ai bu, et elle a aussi donné à boire à mes chameaux.
    
47. Je l'ai interrogée, et j'ai dit: De qui es-tu fille? Elle a répondu: Je suis fille de Bethuel, fils de Nachor et de Milca. J'ai mis l'anneau à son nez, et les bracelets à ses mains.
    
48. Puis je me suis incliné et prosterné devant l'Éternel, et j'ai béni L'Éternel, le Dieu de mon seigneur Abraham, qui m'a conduit fidèlement, afin que je prisse la fille du frère de mon seigneur pour son fils.
    
49. Maintenant, si vous voulez user de bienveillance et de fidélité envers mon seigneur, déclarez-le-moi; sinon, déclarez-le-moi, et je me tournerai à droite ou à gauche.
    
50. Laban et Bethuel répondirent, et dirent: C'est de l'Éternel que la chose vient; nous ne pouvons te parler ni en mal ni en bien.
    

46. "She quickly lowered her jar from her shoulder and said, 'Drink, and I'll water your camels too.' So I drank, and she watered the camels also.
    
47. "I asked her, 'Whose daughter are you?' "She said, 'The daughter of Bethuel son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore to him.' "Then I put the ring in her nose and the bracelets on her arms,
    
48. and I bowed down and worshiped the LORD. I praised the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who had led me on the right road to get the granddaughter of my master's brother for his son.
    
49. Now if you will show kindness and faithfulness to my master, tell me; and if not, tell me, so I may know which way to turn."
    
50. Laban and Bethuel answered, "This is from the LORD; we can say nothing to you one way or the other.
    

51. 리브가가 그대 앞에 있으니 데리고 가서 ^ㄱ여호와의 命(명)대로 그로 그대의 主人(주인)의 아들의 아내가 되게 하라
    
52. 아브라함의 종이 그들의 말을 듣고 땅에 엎드리어 여호와께 절하고
    
53. 銀金(은금) 佩物(패물)과 衣服(의복)을 꺼내어 리브가에게 주고 그 오라비와 어미에게도 寶物(보물)을 주니라
    
54. 이에 그들 곧 종과 縱者(종자)들이 먹고 마시고 留宿(유숙)하고 아침에 일어나서 그가 가로되 ^ㄴ나를 보내어 내 主人(주인)에게로 돌아가게 하소서
    
55. 리브가의 오라비와 그 어미가 가로되 少女(소녀)로 며칠을 적어도 열흘을 우리와 함께 있게 하라 그 後(후)에 그가 갈 것이니라
    

51. Voici Rebecca devant toi; prends et va, et qu'elle soit la femme du fils de ton seigneur, comme l'Éternel l'a dit.
    
52. Lorsque le serviteur d'Abraham eut entendu leurs paroles, il se prosterna en terre devant l'Éternel.
    
54. Après quoi, ils mangèrent et burent, lui et les gens qui étaient avec lui, et ils passèrent la nuit. Le matin, quand ils furent levés, le serviteur dit: Laissez-moi retournez vers mon seigneur.
    
55. Le frère et la mère dirent: Que la jeune fille reste avec nous quelque temps encore, une dizaine de jours; ensuite, tu partiras.
    

51. Here is Rebekah; take her and go, and let her become the wife of your master's son, as the LORD has directed."
    
52. When Abraham's servant heard what they said, he bowed down to the ground before the LORD.
    
53. Then the servant brought out gold and silver jewelry and articles of clothing and gave them to Rebekah; he also gave costly gifts to her brother and to her mother.
    
54. Then he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night there. When they got up the next morning, he said, "Send me on my way to my master."
    
55. But her brother and her mother replied, "Let the girl remain with us ten days or so; then you may go."
    

56. 그 사람이 그들에게 이르되 나를 挽留(만류)치 마소서 여호와께서 내게 亨通(형통)한 길을 주셨으니 나를 보내어 내 主人(주인)에게로 돌아가게 하소서
    
57. 그들이 가로되 우리가 少女(소녀)를 불러 그에게 물으리라 하고
    
58. 리브가를 불러 그에게 이르되 네가 이 사람과 함께 가려느냐 그가 對答(대답)하되 가겠나이다
    
59. 그들이 그 누이 리브가와 ^ㄷ그의 乳母(유모)와 아브라함의 종과 縱者(종자)들을 보내며
    
60. 리브가에게 祝福(축복)하여 가로되 우리 누이여 너는 ^ㄹ千萬人(천만인)의 어미가 될지어다 ^ㅁ네 씨로 그 怨讐(원수)의 城門(성문)을 얻게 할찌어다
    

56. Il leur répondit: Ne me retardez pas, puisque l'Éternel a fait réussir mon voyage; laissez-moi partir, et que j'aille vers mon seigneur.
    
57. Alors ils répondirent: Appelons la jeune fille et consultons-la.
    
58. Ils appelèrent donc Rebecca, et lui dirent: Veux-tu aller avec cet homme? Elle répondit: J'irai.
    
59. Et ils laissèrent partir Rebecca, leur soeur, et sa nourrice, avec le serviteur d'Abraham et ses gens.
    
60. Ils bénirent Rebecca, et lui dirent: O notre soeur, puisse-tu devenir des milliers de myriades, et que ta postérité possède la porte de ses ennemis!
    

56. But he said to them, "Do not detain me, now that the LORD has granted success to my journey. Send me on my way so I may go to my master."
    
57. Then they said, "Let's call the girl and ask her about it."
    
58. So they called Rebekah and asked her, "Will you go with this man?" "I will go," she said.
    
59. So they sent their sister Rebekah on her way, along with her nurse and Abraham's servant and his men.
    
60. And they blessed Rebekah and said to her, "Our sister, may you increase to thousands upon thousands; may your offspring possess the gates of their enemies."
    

61. 리브가가 일어나 婢子(비자)와 함께 약대를 타고 그 사람을 따라가니 종이 리브가를 데리고 가니라
    
62. 때에 이삭이 ^ㅂ브엘 라해로이에서 왔으니 그가 南方(남방)에 居(거)하였었음이라
    
63. 이삭이 저물 때에 들에 나가 ^ㅅ默想(묵상)하다가 눈을 들어 보매 약대들이 오더라
    
64. 리브가가 눈을 들어 이삭을 바라보고 약대에서 내려
    
65. 종에게 말하되 들에서 徘徊(배회)하다가 우리에게로 마주 오는 者(자)가 누구뇨 종이 가로되 이는 내 主人(주인)이니이다 리브가가 면박을 取(취)하여 스스로 가리우더라
    

61. Rebecca se leva, avec ses servantes; elles montèrent sur les chameaux, et suivirent l'homme. Et le serviteur emmena Rebecca, et partit.
    
62. Cependant Isaac était revenu du puits de Lachaï roï, et il habitait dans le pays du midi.
    
63. Un soir qu'Isaac était sorti pour méditer dans les champs, il leva les yeux, et regarda; et voici, des chameaux arrivaient.
    
64. Rebecca leva aussi les yeux, vit Isaac, et descendit de son chameau.
    
65. Elle dit au serviteur: Qui est cet homme, qui vient dans les champs à notre rencontre? Et le serviteur répondit: C'est mon seigneur. Alors elle prit son voile, et se couvrit.
    

61. Then Rebekah and her maids got ready and mounted their camels and went back with the man. So the servant took Rebekah and left.
    
62. Now Isaac had come from Beer Lahai Roi, for he was living in the Negev.
    
63. He went out to the field one evening to meditate, and as he looked up, he saw camels approaching.
    
64. Rebekah also looked up and saw Isaac. She got down from her camel
    
65. and asked the servant, "Who is that man in the field coming to meet us?" "He is my master," the servant answered. So she took her veil and covered herself.
    

66. 종이 그 行(행)한 일을 다 이삭에게 告(고)하매
    
67. 이삭이 리브가를 引導(인도)하여 母親(모친) 사라의 帳幕(장막)으로 들이고 그를 取(취)하여 아내를 삼고 사랑하였으니 이삭이 ^ㅇ母親(모친) 喪事(상사) 後(후)에 ^ㅈ慰勞(위로)를 얻었더라
    

66. Le serviteur raconta à Isaac toutes les choses qu'il avait faites.
    
67. Isaac conduisit Rebecca dans la tente de Sara, sa mère; il prit Rebecca, qui devint sa femme, et il l'aima. Ainsi fut consolé Isaac, après avoir perdu sa mère.
    

66. Then the servant told Isaac all he had done.
    
67. Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.
