1. ^ㅋ여호와께서 ^ㅌ다시 이스라엘을 向(향)하여 震怒(진노)하사 저희를 치시려고 다윗을 感動(감동)시키사 ^ㅍ가서 이스라엘과 유다의 人口(인구)를 調査(조사)하라 하신지라
   
2. 王(왕)이 이에 그 곁에 있는 軍隊(군대) 長官(장관) 요압에게 이르되 너는 이스라엘 모든 支派(지파) 가운데로 다니며 ^ㅎ단에서부터 브엘세바까지 人口(인구)를 調査(조사)하여 그 都數(도수)를 내게 알게 하라
   
3. 요압이 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 ^ㅏ이 百姓(백성)은 얼마든지 王(왕)의 하나님 여호와께서 百倍(백배)나 더하게 하사 내 主(주), 王(왕)의 눈으로 보게 하시기를 願(원)하나이다 그런데 내 主(주), 王(왕)은 어찌하여 이런 일을 기뻐하시나이까 하되
   
4. 王(왕)의 命令(명령)이 요압과 軍隊(군대) 長官(장관)들을 재촉한지라 요압과 長官(장관)들이 이스라엘 人口(인구)를 調査(조사)하려고 王(왕)의 앞에서 물러나서
   
5. 요단을 건너 ^ㅑ갓 골짜기 가운데 城邑(성읍) ^ㅓ아로엘 右便(우편) 곧 ^ㅕ야셀 맞은便(편)에 이르러 帳幕(장막)을 치고
   

1. Und der Zorn des HERRN ergrimmte abermals wider Israel und er reizte David wider "sie," daß er sprach: Gehe "hin," zähle Israel und Juda!
   
2. Und der König sprach zu "Joab," seinem Feldhauptmann: Gehe umher in allen Stämmen Israels von Dan an bis gen Beer-Seba und zähle das "Volk," daß ich "wisse," wieviel sein ist!
   
3. Joab sprach zu dem König: Der "HERR," dein "Gott," tue diesem "Volk," wie es jetzt "ist," noch hundertmal "soviel," daß mein "Herr," der "König," seiner Augen Lust daran sehe; aber was hat mein Herr König zu dieser Sache Lust? {~}
   
4. Aber des Königs Wort stand fest wider Joab und die Hauptleute des Heeres. Also zog Joab aus und die Hauptleute des Heeres von dem "König," daß sie das Volk Israel zählten.
   
5. Und sie gingen über den Jordan und lagerten sich zu "Aroer," zur Rechten der "Stadt," die am Bach Gad "liegt," und gen Jaser "hin,"
   

1. Again the anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, "Go and take a census of Israel and Judah."
   
2. So the king said to Joab and the army commanders with him, "Go throughout the tribes of Israel from Dan to Beersheba and enroll the fighting men, so that I may know how many there are."
   
3. But Joab replied to the king, "May the LORD your God multiply the troops a hundred times over, and may the eyes of my lord the king see it. But why does my lord the king want to do such a thing?"
   
4. The king's word, however, overruled Joab and the army commanders; so they left the presence of the king to enroll the fighting men of Israel.
   
5. After crossing the Jordan, they camped near Aroer, south of the town in the gorge, and then went through Gad and on to Jazer.
   

6. 길르앗에 이르고 닷딤홋시 땅에 이르고 또 ^ㅗ다냐안에 이르러서는 ^ㅛ시돈으로 돌아서
   
7. ^ㅜ두로 堅固(견고)한 城(성)에 이르고 ^ㅠ히위 사람과 가나안 사람의 모든 城邑(성읍)에 이르고 유다 南便(남편)으로 나와서 브엘세바에 이르니라
   
8. 저희 무리가 國中(국중)을 두루 돌아 아홉달 스무날만에 예루살렘에 이르러
   
9. 요압이 人口(인구) 都數(도수)를 王(왕)께 告(고)하니 곧 이스라엘에서 ^으칼을 빼는 膽大(담대)한 者(자)가 八十萬(팔십만)이요, 유다 사람이 五十萬(오십만)이었더라
   
10. 다윗이 人口(인구) 數(수)를 調査(조사)한 後(후)에 ^이그 마음에 自責(자책)하고 여호와께 아뢰되 ^ㅐ내가 이 일을 行(행)함으로 큰 罪(죄)를 犯(범)하였나이다 여호와여, 이제 懇求(간구)하옵나니 종의 罪(죄)를 赦(사)하여 주옵소서 내가 ^ㄱ甚(심)히 미련하게 行(행)하였나이다 하니라
    

6. und kamen gen Gilead und ins Niederland "Hodsi," und kamen gen Dan-Jaan und um Sidon "her,"
   
7. und kamen zu der festen Stadt Tyrus und allen Städten der Heviter und "Kanaaniter," und kamen hinaus an den Mittag Juda's gen "Beer-Seba,"
   
8. und durchzogen das ganze land und kamen nach neuen Monaten und zwanzig Tagen gen Jerusalem.
   
9. Und Joab gab dem König die Summe des "Volks," das gezählt war. Und es waren in Israel achthundertmal tausend starke "Männer," die das Schwert "auszogen," und in Juda fünfhundertmal tausend Mann. {~}
   
10. Und das Herz schlug "David," nachdem das Volk gezählt war. Und David sprach zum HERRN: Ich habe schwer "gesündigt," daß ich das getan habe; und "nun," "HERR," nimm weg die Missetat deines Knechtes; denn ich habe sehr töricht getan.
    

6. They went to Gilead and the region of Tahtim Hodshi, and on to Dan Jaan and around toward Sidon.
   
7. Then they went toward the fortress of Tyre and all the towns of the Hivites and Canaanites. Finally, they went on to Beersheba in the Negev of Judah.
   
8. After they had gone through the entire land, they came back to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days.
   
9. Joab reported the number of the fighting men to the king: In Israel there were eight hundred thousand able-bodied men who could handle a sword, and in Judah five hundred thousand.
   
10. David was conscience-stricken after he had counted the fighting men, and he said to the LORD, "I have sinned greatly in what I have done. Now, O LORD, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing."
    

11. 다윗이 아침에 일어날 때에 여호와의 말씀이 ^ㄴ다윗의 先見者(선견자) 된 ^ㄷ先知者(선지자) 갓에게 臨(임)하여 가라사대
    
12. 가서 다윗에게 말하기를 여호와의 말씀에 내가 네게 세가지를 보이노니 너는 그 中(중)에서 하나를 擇(택)하라 내가 그것을 네게 行(행)하리라 하셨다 하라
    
13. 갓이 다윗에게 이르러 告(고)하여 가로되 ^ㄹ王(왕)의 땅에 七年(칠년) 饑饉(기근)이 있을 것이니이까 或時(혹시) 王(왕)이 王(왕)의 對敵(대적)에게 쫓겨 석달을 그 앞에서 逃亡(도망)하실 것이니이까 或時(혹시) 王(왕)의 땅에 三日(삼일)동안 瘟疫(온역)이 있을 것이니이까 王(왕)은 생각하여 보고 나를 보내신 이에게 對答(대답)하게 하소서
    
14. 다윗이 갓에게 이르되 내가 困境(곤경)에 있도다 ^ㅁ여호와께서는 矜恤(긍휼)이 크시니 우리가 여호와의 손에 빠지고 내가 사람의 손에 빠지지 않기를 願(원)하노라
    
15. ^ㅂ이에 여호와께서 그 아침부터 定(정)하신 때까지 瘟疫(온역)을 이스라엘에게 내리시니 ^ㅅ단부터 브엘세바까지 百姓(백성)의 죽은 者(자)가 七萬人(칠만인)이라
    

11. Und da David des Morgens "aufstand," kam des HERRN Wort zu "Gad," dem "Propheten," Davids "Seher," und sprach:
    
12. Gehe hin und rede mit David: So spricht der HERR: Dreierlei bringe ich zu dir; erwähle dir deren "eins," daß ich es dir tue.
    
13. Gad kam zu David und sagte es ihm an und sprach zu ihm: Willst "du," daß sieben Jahre Teuerung in dein Land komme? oder daß du drei Monate vor deinen Widersachern fliehen müssest und sie dich verfolgen? oder drei Tage Pestilenz in deinem Lande sei? So merke nun und "siehe," was ich wieder sagen soll "dem," der mich gesandt hat.
    
14. David sprach zu Gad: Es ist mir sehr angst; aber laß uns in die Hand des HERRN "fallen," denn seine Barmherzigkeit ist groß; ich will nicht in der Menschen Hand fallen.
    
15. Also ließ der HERR Pestilenz in Israel kommen von Morgen an bis zur bestimmten "Zeit," daß des Volks starb von Dan an bis gen Beer-Seba siebzigtausend Mann.
    

11. Before David got up the next morning, the word of the LORD had come to Gad the prophet, David's seer:
    
12. "Go and tell David, 'This is what the LORD says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.'"
    
13. So Gad went to David and said to him, "Shall there come upon you three years of famine in your land? Or three months of fleeing from your enemies while they pursue you? Or three days of plague in your land? Now then, think it over and decide how I should answer the one who sent me."
    
14. David said to Gad, "I am in deep distress. Let us fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men."
    
15. So the LORD sent a plague on Israel from that morning until the end of the time designated, and seventy thousand of the people from Dan to Beersheba died.
    

16. ^ㅇ天使(천사)가 예루살렘을 向(향)하여 그 손을 들어 ^ㅈ滅(멸)하려 하더니 ^ㅊ여호와께서 이 災殃(재앙) 내림을 뉘우치사 百姓(백성)을 滅(멸)하는 天使(천사)에게 이르시되 足(족)하다 이제는 네 손을 거두라 하시니 때에 여호와의 使者(사자)가 여부스 사람 ^ㅋ아라우나의 打作(타작) 마당 곁에 있는지라
    
17. 다윗이 百姓(백성)을 치는 天使(천사)를 보고 곧 여호와께 아뢰어 가로되 나는 犯罪(범죄)하였고 惡(악)을 行(행)하였삽거니와 이 羊(양)무리는 무엇을 行(행)하였나이까 請(청)컨대 主(주)의 손으로 나와 내 아비의 집을 치소서 하니라
    
18. 이 날에 갓이 다윗에게 이르러 告(고)하되 올라가서 여부스 사람 아라우나의 打作(타작) 마당에서 여호와를 爲(위)하여 壇(단)을 쌓으소서 하매
    
19. 다윗이 여호와의 命(명)하신 바 갓의 말대로 올라가니라
    
20. 아라우나가 바라보다가 王(왕)과 그 信服(신복)들이 自己(자기)를 向(향)하여 옴을 보고 나가서 王(왕)의 앞에서 얼굴을 땅에 대고 절하며
    

16. Und da der Engel seine Hand ausstreckte über "Jerusalem," daß er es "verderbte," reute den HERRN das "Übel," und er sprach zum "Engel," zu dem Verderber im Volk: Es ist genug; laß deine Hand ab! Der Engel aber des HERRN war bei der Tenne "Aravnas," des Jebusiters.
    
17. Da aber David den Engel "sah," der das Volk "schlug," sprach er zum HERRN: "Siehe," ich habe "gesündigt," ich habe die Missetat getan; was habe diese Schafe getan? Laß deine Hand wider mich und meines Vaters Haus sein!
    
18. Und Gad kam zu David zur selben Zeit und sprach zu ihm: Gehe hinauf und richte dem HERRN einen Altar auf in der Tenne "Aravnas," des Jebusiters!
    
19. Also ging David "hinauf," wie Gad ihm gesagt und der HERR ihm geboten hatte.
    
20. Und da Aravna sich "wandte," sah er den König mit seinen Knechten zu ihm herüberkommen und fiel nieder auf sein Angesicht zur Erde
    

16. When the angel stretched out his hand to destroy Jerusalem, the LORD was grieved because of the calamity and said to the angel who was afflicting the people, "Enough! Withdraw your hand." The angel of the LORD was then at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.
    
17. When David saw the angel who was striking down the people, he said to the LORD, "I am the one who has sinned and done wrong. These are but sheep. What have they done? Let your hand fall upon me and my family."
    
18. On that day Gad went to David and said to him, "Go up and build an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite."
    
19. So David went up, as the LORD had commanded through Gad.
    
20. When Araunah looked and saw the king and his men coming toward him, he went out and bowed down before the king with his face to the ground.
    

21. 가로되 어찌하여 내 主(주) 王(왕)께서 종에게 臨(임)하시나이까 다윗이 가로되 네게서 打作(타작) 마당을 사서 여호와께 壇(단)을 쌓아 ^ㅌ百姓(백성)에게 내리는 災殃(재앙)을 그치게 하려 함이로라
    
22. 아라우나가 다윗에게 告(고)하되 願(원)컨대 내 主(주), 王(왕)은 좋게 여기시는 대로 取(취)하여 드리소서 燔祭(번제)에 對(대)하여는 소가 있고 땔 나무에 對(대)하여는 ^ㅍ마당질하는 諸具(제구)와 소의 멍에가 있나이다
    
23. 王(왕)이여 아라우나가 이것을 다 王(왕)께 드리나이다 하고 또 王(왕)께 告(고)하되 王(왕)의 하나님 여호와께서 王(왕)을 ^ㅎ기쁘게 받으시기를 願(원)하나이다
    
24. 王(왕)이 아라우나에게 이르되 그렇지 아니하다 내가 값을 주고 네게서 사리라 값 없이는 내 하나님 여호와께 燔祭(번제)를 드리지 아니하리라 하고 銀(은) 五十(오십) 세겔로 打作(타작) 마당과 소를 사고
    
25. 그곳에서 여호와를 爲(위)하여 壇(단)을 쌓고 燔祭(번제)와 和睦祭(화목제)를 드렸더니 ^ㅏ이에 여호와께서 그 땅을 爲(위)하여 祈禱(기도)를 들으시매 이스라엘에게 내리는 災殃(재앙)이 그쳤더라
    

21. und sprach: Warum kommt mein "Herr," der "König," zu seinem Knecht? David sprach: Zu kaufen von dir die Tenne und zu bauen dem HERRN einen "Altar," daß die Plage vom Volk aufhöre.
    
22. Aber Aravna sprach zu David: Mein "Herr," der "König," nehme und "opfere," wie es ihm gefällt: "siehe," da ist ein Rind zum Brandopfer und Schleifen und Geschirr vom Ochsen zu Holz.
    
23. Das alles gab "Aravna," der "König," dem König. Und Aravna sprach zum König: Der "HERR," dein "Gott," lasse dich ihm angenehm sein.
    
24. Aber der König sprach zu Aravna: Nicht "also," sondern ich will dir's abkaufen um seinen Preis; denn ich will dem "HERRN," meinem "Gott," nicht Brandopfer "tun," das ich umsonst habe. Also kaufte David die Tenne und das Rind um fünfzig Silberlinge
    
25. und baute daselbst dem HERRN einen Altar und opferte Brandopfer und Dankopfer. Und der HERR ward dem Land "versöhnt," und die Plage hörte auf von dem Volk Israel.
    

21. Araunah said, "Why has my lord the king come to his servant?" "To buy your threshing floor," David answered, "so I can build an altar to the LORD, that the plague on the people may be stopped."
    
22. Araunah said to David, "Let my lord the king take whatever pleases him and offer it up. Here are oxen for the burnt offering, and here are threshing sledges and ox yokes for the wood.
    
23. O king, Araunah gives all this to the king." Araunah also said to him, "May the LORD your God accept you."
    
24. But the king replied to Araunah, "No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing." So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them.
    
25. David built an altar to the LORD there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD answered prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.
