사무엘상(1 Samuel) 14장 [개역한글 : LSG1910 : NIV]

1. 하루는 사울의 아들 요나단이 自己(자기) 兵器(병기)를 든 少年(소년)에게 이르되 우리가 건너便(편) 블레셋 사람의 部隊(부대)에게로 건너가자 하고 그 아비에게는 告(고)하지 아니하였더라
   
2. 사울이 기브아 邊境(변경) ^ㅛ미그론에 있는 石榴(석류)나무 아래 머물렀고 함께 한 百姓(백성)은 ^ㅜ六百名(육백명) 假量(가량)이며
   
3. ^ㅠ아히야는 ^으에봇을 입고 거기 있었으니 그는 ^이이가봇의 兄弟(형제) 아히둡의 아들이요 비느하스의 孫子(손자)요 ^ㅐ실로에서 여호와의 祭司長(제사장)이 되었던 엘리의 曾孫(증손)이었더라 百姓(백성)은 요나단의 간 줄을 알지 못하니라
   
4. 요나단이 블레셋 사람의 部隊(부대)에게로 건너가려 하는 ^ㄱ어귀 사이 이便(편)에도 險(험)한 바위가 있고 저便(편)에도 險(험)한 바위가 있는데 하나의 이름은 보세스요 하나의 이름은 세네라
   
5. 한 바위는 北(북)에서 믹마스 앞에 일어섰고 하나는 南(남)에서 ^ㄴ게바 앞에 일어섰더라
   

1. Un jour, Jonathan, fils de Saül, dit au jeune homme qui portait ses armes: Viens, et poussons jusqu'au poste des Philistins qui est là de l'autre côté. Et il n'en dit rien à son père.
   
2. Saül se tenait à l'extrémité de Guibea, sous le grenadier de Migron, et le peuple qui était avec lui formait environ six cents hommes.
   
3. Achija, fils d'Achithub, frère d'I Kabod, fils de Phinées, fils d'Éli, sacrificateur de l'Éternel à Silo, portait l'éphod. Le peuple ne savait pas que Jonathan s'en fût allé.
   
4. Entre les passages par lesquels Jonathan cherchait à arriver au poste des Philistins, il y avait une dent de rocher d'un côté et une dent de rocher de l'autre côté, l'une portant le nom de Botsets et l'autre celui de Séné.
   
5. L'une de ces dents est au nord vis-à-vis de Micmasch, et l'autre au midi vis-à-vis de Guéba.
   

1. One day Jonathan son of Saul said to the young man bearing his armor, "Come, let's go over to the Philistine outpost on the other side." But he did not tell his father.
   
2. Saul was staying on the outskirts of Gibeah under a pomegranate tree in Migron. With him were about six hundred men,
   
3. among whom was Ahijah, who was wearing an ephod. He was a son of Ichabod's brother Ahitub son of Phinehas, the son of Eli, the LORD'S priest in Shiloh. No one was aware that Jonathan had left.
   
4. On each side of the pass that Jonathan intended to cross to reach the Philistine outpost was a cliff; one was called Bozez, and the other Seneh.
   
5. One cliff stood to the north toward Micmash, the other to the south toward Geba.
   

6. 요나단이 自己(자기) 兵器(병기) 든 少年(소년)에게 이르되 우리가 이 ^ㄷ割禮(할례) 없는 者(자)들의 部隊(부대)에게로 건너가자 여호와께서 우리를 爲(위)하여 일하실까 하노라 여호와의 ^ㄹ救援(구원)은 사람의 많고 적음에 달리지 아니하였느니라
   
7. 兵器(병기) 든 者(자)가 그에게 이르되 當身(당신)의 마음에 있는 대로 다 行(행)하여 앞서 가소서 내가 當身(당신)과 마음을 같이 하여 따르리이다
   
8. 요나단이 가로되 보라, 우리가 그 사람들에게로 건너가서 그들에게 보이리니
   
9. 그들이 萬一(만일) 이같이 우리에게 이르기를 우리가 너희에게로 가기를 기다리라 하면 우리는 우리 곳에 가만히 서서 그들에게로 올라가지 말 것이요
   
10. 그들이 萬一(만일) 이같이 말하기를 우리에게로 올라오라 하면 우리가 올라갈 것은 여호와께서 그들을 우리 손에 붙이셨음이니 이것이 우리에게 表徵(표징)이 되리라 하고
    

6. Jonathan dit au jeune homme qui portait ses armes: Viens, et poussons jusqu'au poste de ces incirconcis. Peut-être l'Éternel agira-t-il pour nous, car rien n'empêche l'Éternel de sauver au moyen d'un petit nombre comme d'un grand nombre.
   
7. Celui qui portait ses armes lui répondit: Fais tout ce que tu as dans le coeur, n'écoute que ton sentiment, me voici avec toi prêt à te suivre.
   
8. Hé bien! dit Jonathan, allons à ces gens et montrons-nous à eux.
   
9. S'ils nous disent: Arrêtez, jusqu'à ce que nous venions à vous! nous resterons en place, et nous ne monterons point vers eux.
   
10. Mais s'ils disent: Montez vers nous! nous monterons, car l'Éternel les livre entre nos mains. C'est là ce qui nous servira de signe.
    

6. Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, "Come, let's go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised fellows. Perhaps the LORD will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few."
   
7. "Do all that you have in mind," his armor-bearer said. "Go ahead; I am with you heart and soul."
   
8. Jonathan said, "Come, then; we will cross over toward the men and let them see us.
   
9. If they say to us, 'Wait there until we come to you,' we will stay where we are and not go up to them.
   
10. But if they say, 'Come up to us,' we will climb up, because that will be our sign that the LORD has given them into our hands."
    

11. 둘이 다 블레셋 사람의 部隊(부대)에게 보이매 블레셋 사람이 가로되 보라, 히브리 사람이 그 ^ㅁ숨었던 구멍에서 나온다 하고
    
12. 그 部隊(부대) 사람들이 요나단과 그 兵器(병기) 든 者(자)를 對(대)하여 가로되 우리에게로 올라오라 너희에게 한 일을 보이리라 한지라 요나단이 自己(자기) 兵器(병기)든 者(자)에게 이르되 나를 따라 올라오라 여호와께서 그들을 이스라엘의 손에 붙이셨느니라 하고
    
13. 요나단이 손발로 붙잡고 올라갔고 그 兵器(병기)든 者(자)도 따랐더라 블레셋 사람들이 요나단 앞에서 엎드러지매 兵器(병기)든 者(자)가 따라가며 죽였으니
    
14. 요나단과 그 兵器(병기)든 者(자)가 半日耕(반일경) 地段(지단)안에서 처음으로 屠戮(도륙)한 者(자)가 二十人(이십인) 假量(가량)이라
    
15. 들에 있는 陣(진)과 모든 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 떨림이 일어났고 部隊(부대)와 ^ㅂ擄略軍(노략군)들도 떨었으며 땅도 震動(진동)하였으니 이는 ^ㅅ큰 떨림이었더라
    

11. Ils se montrèrent tous deux au poste des Philistins, et les Philistins dirent: Voici les Hébreux qui sortent des trous où ils se sont cachés.
    
12. Et les hommes du poste s'adressèrent ainsi à Jonathan et à celui qui portait ses armes: Montez vers nous, et nous vous ferons savoir quelque chose. Jonathan dit à celui qui portait ses armes: Monte après moi, car l'Éternel les livre entre les mains d'Israël.
    
13. Et Jonathan monta en s'aidant des mains et des pieds, et celui qui portait ses armes le suivit. Les Philistins tombèrent devant Jonathan, et celui qui portait ses armes donnait la mort derrière lui.
    
14. Dans cette première défaite, Jonathan et celui qui portait ses armes tuèrent une vingtaine d'hommes, sur l'espace d'environ la moitié d'un arpent de terre.
    
15. L'effroi se répandit au camp, dans la contrée et parmi tout le peuple; le poste et ceux qui ravageaient furent également saisis de peur; le pays fut dans l'épouvante. C'était comme une terreur de Dieu.
    

11. So both of them showed themselves to the Philistine outpost. "Look!" said the Philistines. "The Hebrews are crawling out of the holes they were hiding in."
    
12. The men of the outpost shouted to Jonathan and his armor-bearer, "Come up to us and we'll teach you a lesson." So Jonathan said to his armor-bearer, "Climb up after me; the LORD has given them into the hand of Israel."
    
13. Jonathan climbed up, using his hands and feet, with his armor-bearer right behind him. The Philistines fell before Jonathan, and his armor-bearer followed and killed behind him.
    
14. In that first attack Jonathan and his armor-bearer killed some twenty men in an area of about half an acre.
    
15. Then panic struck the whole army--those in the camp and field, and those in the outposts and raiding parties--and the ground shook. It was a panic sent by God.
    

16. 베냐민 기브아에 있는 사울의 把守軍(파수군)이 바라본즉 許多(허다)한 블레셋 사람이 ^ㅇ무너져 이리저리 흩어지더라
    
17. 사울이 自己(자기)와 함께 한 百姓(백성)에게 이르되 우리에게서 누가 나갔는지 點考(점고)하여 보라 하고 點考(점고)한즉 요나단과 그의 兵器(병기)든 者(자)가 없어졌더라
    
18. 사울이 아히야에게 이르되 하나님의 櫃(궤)를 이리로 가져오라 하니 그 때에 하나님의 櫃(궤)가 이스라엘 子孫(자손)과 함께 있음이라
    
19. ^ㅈ사울이 祭司長(제사장)에게 말할 때에 블레셋 사람의 陣(진)에 騷動(소동)이 漸漸(점점) 더한지라 사울이 祭司長(제사장)에게 이르되 네 손을 거두라 하고
    
20. 사울과 그와 함께한 모든 百姓(백성)이 모여 戰場(전장)에 가서 본즉 블레셋 사람이 ^ㅊ各各(각각) 칼로 그 동무를 치므로 크게 混亂(혼란)하였더라
    

16. Les sentinelles de Saül, qui étaient à Guibea de Benjamin, virent que la multitude se dispersait et allait de côté et d'autre.
    
17. Alors Saül dit au peuple qui était avec lui: Comptez, je vous prie, et voyez qui s'en est allé du milieu de nous. Ils comptèrent, et voici, il manquait Jonathan et celui qui portait ses armes.
    
18. Et Saül dit à Achija: Fais approcher l'arche de Dieu! #NAME? en ce temps l'arche de Dieu était avec les enfants d'Israël.
    
19. Pendant que Saül parlait au sacrificateur, le tumulte dans le camp des Philistins allait toujours croissant; et Saül dit au sacrificateur: Retire ta main!
    
20. Puis Saül et tout le peuple qui était avec lui se rassemblèrent, et ils s'avancèrent jusqu'au lieu du combat; et voici, les Philistins tournèrent l'épée les uns contre les autres, et la confusion était extrême.
    

16. Saul's lookouts at Gibeah in Benjamin saw the army melting away in all directions.
    
17. Then Saul said to the men who were with him, "Muster the forces and see who has left us." When they did, it was Jonathan and his armor-bearer who were not there.
    
18. Saul said to Ahijah, "Bring the ark of God." (At that time it was with the Israelites.)
    
19. While Saul was talking to the priest, the tumult in the Philistine camp increased more and more. So Saul said to the priest, "Withdraw your hand."
    
20. Then Saul and all his men assembled and went to the battle. They found the Philistines in total confusion, striking each other with their swords.
    

21. ^ㅋ前(전)에 블레셋 사람과 함께 하던 히브리 사람이 四方(사방)에서 블레셋 사람과 함께 와서 陣(진)에 들어왔더니 그들이 돌이켜 사울과 요나단과 함께한 이스라엘 사람과 合(합)하였고
    
22. ^ㅌ에브라임 山地(산지)에 숨었던 ^ㅍ이스라엘 모든 사람도 블레셋 사람의 逃亡(도망)함을 듣고 싸우러 나와서 그들을 追擊(추격)하였더라
    
23. 여호와께서 ^ㅎ그 날에 이스라엘을 救援(구원)하시므로 戰爭(전쟁)이 ^ㅏ벧아웬을 지나니라
    
24. 이 날에 이스라엘 百姓(백성)이 疲困(피곤)하였으니 이는 ^ㅑ사울이 百姓(백성)에게 盟誓(맹서)시켜 警戒(경계)하여 이르기를 저녁 곧 내가 내 怨讐(원수)에게 報酬(보수)하는 때까지 아무 植物(식물)이든지 먹는 사람은 詛呪(저주)를 받을지어다 하였음이라 그러므로 百姓(백성)이 植物(식물)을 맛보지 못하고
    
25. 그들이 다 수풀에 들어간즉 ^ㅓ땅에 꿀이 있더라
    

21. Il y avait parmi les Philistins, comme auparavant, des Hébreux qui étaient montés avec eux dans le camp, où ils se trouvaient disséminés, et ils se joignirent à ceux d'Israël qui étaient avec Saül et Jonathan.
    
22. Tous les hommes d'Israël qui s'étaient cachés dans la montagne d'Éphraïm, apprenant que les Philistins fuyaient, se mirent aussi à les poursuivre dans la bataille.
    
23. L'Éternel délivra Israël ce jour-là, et le combat se prolongea jusqu'au delà de Beth Aven.
    
24. La journée fut fatigante pour les hommes d'Israël. Saül avait fait jurer le peuple, en disant: Maudit soit l'homme qui prendra de la nourriture avant le soir, avant que je me sois vengé de mes ennemis! Et personne n'avait pris de nourriture.
    
25. Tout le peuple était arrivé dans une forêt, où il y avait du miel à la surface du sol.
    

21. Those Hebrews who had previously been with the Philistines and had gone up with them to their camp went over to the Israelites who were with Saul and Jonathan.
    
22. When all the Israelites who had hidden in the hill country of Ephraim heard that the Philistines were on the run, they joined the battle in hot pursuit.
    
23. So the LORD rescued Israel that day, and the battle moved on beyond Beth Aven.
    
24. Now the men of Israel were in distress that day, because Saul had bound the people under an oath, saying, "Cursed be any man who eats food before evening comes, before I have avenged myself on my enemies!" So none of the troops tasted food.
    
25. The entire army entered the woods, and there was honey on the ground.
    

26. 百姓(백성)이 수풀로 들어갈 때에 꿀이 흐르는 것을 보고도 그들이 盟誓(맹서)를 두려워하여 손을 그 입에 대는 者(자)가 없으나
    
27. 요나단은 그 아비가 盟誓(맹서)로 百姓(백성)에게 命(명)할 때에 듣지 못하였으므로 ^ㅕ손에 가진 지팡이 끝을 내밀어 꿀을 찍고 그 손을 돌이켜 입에 대매 눈이 밝아졌더라
    
28. 때에 百姓(백성) 中(중) 하나가 告(고)하여 가로되 當身(당신)의 父親(부친)이 盟誓(맹서)로 百姓(백성)에게 嚴(엄)히 命(명)하여 말씀하시기를 오늘날 植物(식물)을 먹는 사람은 詛呪(저주)를 받을지어다 하셨나이다 그러므로 百姓(백성)이 ^ㅗ疲困(피곤)하였나이다
    
29. 요나단이 가로되 내 父親(부친)이 이 땅으로 困難(곤난)케 하셨도다 보라, 내가 이 꿀 조금을 맛보고도 내 눈이 이렇게 밝았거든
    
30. 하물며 百姓(백성)이 오늘 그 對敵(대적)에게서 奪取(탈취)하여 얻은 것을 任意(임의)로 먹었더면 블레셋 사람을 殺戮(살륙)함이 더욱 많지 아니하였겠느냐
    

26. Lorsque le peuple entra dans la forêt, il vit du miel qui coulait; mais nul ne porta la main à la bouche, car le peuple respectait le serment.
    
27. Jonathan ignorait le serment que son père avait fait faire au peuple; il avança le bout du bâton qu'il avait à la main, le plongea dans un rayon de miel, et ramena la main à la bouche; et ses yeux furent éclaircis.
    
28. Alors quelqu'un du peuple, lui adressant la parole, dit: Ton père a fait jurer le peuple, en disant: Maudit soit l'homme qui prendra de la nourriture aujourd'hui! Or le peuple était épuisé.
    
29. Et Jonathan dit: Mon père trouble le peuple; voyez donc comme mes yeux se sont éclaircis, parce que j'ai goûté un peu de ce miel.
    
30. Certes, si le peuple avait aujourd'hui mangé du butin qu'il a trouvé chez ses ennemis, la défaite des Philistins n'aurait-elle pas été plus grande?
    

26. When they went into the woods, they saw the honey oozing out, yet no one put his hand to his mouth, because they feared the oath.
    
27. But Jonathan had not heard that his father had bound the people with the oath, so he reached out the end of the staff that was in his hand and dipped it into the honeycomb. He raised his hand to his mouth, and his eyes brightened.
    
28. Then one of the soldiers told him, "Your father bound the army under a strict oath, saying, 'Cursed be any man who eats food today!' That is why the men are faint."
    
29. Jonathan said, "My father has made trouble for the country. See how my eyes brightened when I tasted a little of this honey.
    
30. How much better it would have been if the men had eaten today some of the plunder they took from their enemies. Would not the slaughter of the Philistines have been even greater?"
    

31. 그 날에 百姓(백성)이 ^ㅛ믹마스에서부터 ^ㅜ아얄론에 이르기까지 블레셋 사람을 쳤으므로 그들이 甚(심)히 疲困(피곤)한지라
    
32. 百姓(백성)이 이에 ^ㅠ奪取(탈취)한 物件(물건)에 달려가서 羊(양)과 소와 송아지들을 取(취)하고 그것을 땅에서 잡아 ^으피 있는 채 먹었더니
    
33. 무리가 사울에게 告(고)하여 가로되 보소서, 百姓(백성)이 고기를 피채 먹어 여호와께 犯罪(범죄)하였나이다 사울이 가로되 너희가 無信(무신)하게 行(행)하였도다 이제 큰 돌을 내게로 굴려오라 하고
    
34. 또 가로되 너희는 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 흩어져 다니며 이르기를 사람은 各其(각기) 소와 各其(각기) 羊(양)을 이리로 끌어다가 잡아 먹되 피 있는 채 먹어서 여호와께 犯罪(범죄)하지 말라 하매 그 밤에 모든 百姓(백성)이 各各(각각) 自己(자기)의 소를 끌어다가 거기서 잡으니라
    
35. 사울이 여호와를 爲(위)하여 ^이壇(단)을 쌓았으니 이는 그가 여호와를 爲(위)하여 처음 쌓은 壇(단)이었더라
    

31. Ils battirent ce jour-là les Philistins depuis Micmasch jusqu'à Ajalon. Le peuple était très fatigué,
    
32. et il se jeta sur le butin. Il prit des brebis, des boeufs et des veaux, il les égorgea sur la terre, et il en mangea avec le sang.
    
33. On le rapporta à Saül, et l'on dit: Voici, le peuple pèche contre l'Éternel, en mangeant avec le sang. Saül dit: Vous commettez une infidélité; roulez à l'instant vers moi une grande pierre.
    
34. Puis il ajouta: Répandez-vous parmi le peuple, et dites à chacun de m'amener son boeuf ou sa brebis, et de l'égorger ici. Vous mangerez ensuite, et vous ne pécherez point contre l'Éternel, en mangeant avec le sang. Et pendant la nuit, chacun parmi le peuple amena son boeuf à la main, afin de l'égorger sur la pierre.
    
35. Saül bâtit un autel à l'Éternel: ce fut le premier autel qu'il bâtit à l'Éternel.
    

31. That day, after the Israelites had struck down the Philistines from Micmash to Aijalon, they were exhausted.
    
32. They pounced on the plunder and, taking sheep, cattle and calves, they butchered them on the ground and ate them, together with the blood.
    
33. Then someone said to Saul, "Look, the men are sinning against the LORD by eating meat that has blood in it." "You have broken faith," he said. "Roll a large stone over here at once."
    
34. Then he said, "Go out among the men and tell them, 'Each of you bring me your cattle and sheep, and slaughter them here and eat them. Do not sin against the LORD by eating meat with blood still in it.'" So everyone brought his ox that night and slaughtered it there.
    
35. Then Saul built an altar to the LORD; it was the first time he had done this.
    

36. 사울이 가로되 우리가 밤에 블레셋 사람을 쫓아 내려가서 동틀 때까지 그들 中(중)에서 奪取(탈취)하고 한 사람도 남기지 말자 무리가 가로되 王(왕)의 所見(소견)에 좋은 대로 하소서 할 때에 ^ㅐ祭司長(제사장)이 가로되 이리로 와서 하나님께로 나아가사이다 하매
    
37. 사울이 하나님께 묻자오되 내가 블레셋 사람을 쫓아 내려가리이까 主(주)께서 그들을 이스라엘의 손에 붙이시겠나이까 하되 ^ㄱ그 날에 對答(대답)지 아니하시는지라
    
38. 사울이 가로되 ^ㄴ너희 百姓(백성)의 어른들아, 다 이리로 오라 오늘 이 罪(죄)가 뉘게 있나 알아 보자
    
39. 이스라엘을 救援(구원)하신 ^ㄷ여호와의 사심으로 盟誓(맹서)하노니 ^ㄹ내 아들 요나단에게 있다 할지라도 반드시 죽으리라 하되 모든 百姓(백성) 中(중) 한 사람도 對答(대답)지 아니하매
    
40. 이에 그가 온 이스라엘에게 이르되 너희는 저便(편)에 있으라 나와 내 아들 요나단은 이便(편)에 있으리라 百姓(백성)이 사울에게 말하되 王(왕)의 所見(소견)에 좋은대로 하소서 하니라
    

36. Saül dit: Descendons cette nuit après les Philistins, pillons-les jusqu'à la lumière du matin, et n'en laissons pas un de reste. Ils dirent: Fais tout ce qui te semblera bon. Alors le sacrificateur dit: Approchons-nous ici de Dieu.
    
37. Et Saül consulta Dieu: Descendrai-je après les Philistins? Les livreras-tu entre les mains d'Israël? Mais en ce moment il ne lui donna point de réponse.
    
38. Saül dit: Approchez ici, vous tous chefs du peuple; recherchez et voyez comment ce péché a été commis aujourd'hui.
    
39. Car l'Éternel, le libérateur d'Israël, est vivant! lors même que Jonathan, mon fils, en serait l'auteur, il mourrait. Et dans tout le peuple personne ne lui répondit.
    
40. Il dit à tout Israël: Mettez-vous d'un côté; et moi et Jonathan, mon fils, nous serons de l'autre. Et le peuple dit à Saül: Fais ce qui te semblera bon.
    

36. Saul said, "Let us go down after the Philistines by night and plunder them till dawn, and let us not leave one of them alive." "Do whatever seems best to you," they replied. But the priest said, "Let us inquire of God here."
    
37. So Saul asked God, "Shall I go down after the Philistines? Will you give them into Israel's hand?" But God did not answer him that day.
    
38. Saul therefore said, "Come here, all you who are leaders of the army, and let us find out what sin has been committed today.
    
39. As surely as the LORD who rescues Israel lives, even if it lies with my son Jonathan, he must die." But not one of the men said a word.
    
40. Saul then said to all the Israelites, "You stand over there; I and Jonathan my son will stand over here." "Do what seems best to you," the men replied.
    

41. 이에 사울이 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께 아뢰되 願(원)컨대 實狀(실상)을 보이소서 하였더니 요나단과 사울이 ^ㅁ뽑히고 百姓(백성)은 免(면)한지라
    
42. 사울이 가로되 나와 내 아들 요나단 사이에 뽑으라 하였더니 요나단이 뽑히니라
    
43. 사울이 요나단에게 가로되 ^ㅂ너의 行(행)한 것을 내게 告(고)하라 요나단이 告(고)하여 가로되 ^ㅅ내가 다만 내 손에 가진 지팡이 끝으로 꿀을 조금 맛보았을 뿐이오나 내가 죽을 수 밖에 없나이다
    
44. 사울이 가로되 요나단아, ^ㅇ네가 반드시 죽으리라 그렇지 않으면 ^ㅈ하나님이 내게 罰(벌)을 내리시고 또 내리시기를 願(원)하노라
    
45. 百姓(백성)이 사울에게 말하되 이스라엘에 이 큰 救援(구원)을 이룬 요나단이 죽겠나이까 決斷(결단)코 그렇지 아니하니이다 여호와의 사심으로 盟誓(맹서)하옵나니 ^ㅊ그의 머리털 하나도 땅에 떨어지지 아니할 것은 그가 오늘 하나님과 同事(동사)하였음이니이다 하여 요나단을 救援(구원)하여 죽지않게 하니라
    

41. Saül dit à l'Éternel: Dieu d'Israël! fais connaître la vérité. Jonathan et Saül furent désignés, et le peuple fut libéré.
    
42. Saül dit: Jetez le sort entre moi et Jonathan, mon fils. Et Jonathan fut désigné.
    
43. Saül dit à Jonathan: Déclare-moi ce que tu as fait. Jonathan le lui déclara, et dit: J'ai goûté un peu de miel, avec le bout du bâton que j'avais à la main: me voici, je mourrai.
    
44. Et Saül dit: Que Dieu me traite dans toute sa rigueur, si tu ne meurs pas, Jonathan!
    
45. Le peuple dit à Saül: Quoi! Jonathan mourrait, lui qui a opéré cette grande délivrance en Israël! Loin de là! L'Éternel est vivant! il ne tombera pas à terre un cheveu de sa tête, car c'est avec Dieu qu'il a agi dans cette journée. Ainsi le peuple sauva Jonathan, et il ne mourut point.
    

41. Then Saul prayed to the LORD, the God of Israel, "Give me the right answer." And Jonathan and Saul were taken by lot, and the men were cleared.
    
42. Saul said, "Cast the lot between me and Jonathan my son." And Jonathan was taken.
    
43. Then Saul said to Jonathan, "Tell me what you have done." So Jonathan told him, "I merely tasted a little honey with the end of my staff. And now must I die?"
    
44. Saul said, "May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if you do not die, Jonathan."
    
45. But the men said to Saul, "Should Jonathan die--he who has brought about this great deliverance in Israel? Never! As surely as the LORD lives, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground, for he did this today with God's help." So the men rescued Jonathan, and he was not put to death.
    

46. 이 블레셋 사람 따르기를 그치고 올라가매 블레셋 사람이 自己(자기) 곳으로 돌아가니라
    
47. 사울이 이스라엘 王位(왕위)에 나아간 後(후)에 四方(사방)에 있는 모든 對敵(대적) 곧 모압과 ^ㅋ암몬 子孫(자손)과 에돔과 ^ㅌ소바의 王(왕)들과 블레셋 사람을 쳤는데 向(향)하는 곳마다 이기었고
    
48. 勇猛(용맹) 있게 ^ㅍ아말렉 사람을 치고 이스라엘을 그 掠奪(략탈)하는 者(자)의 손에서 건졌더라
    
49. ^ㅎ사울의 아들은 요나단과, 리스위와, 말기수아요, 그 두 딸의 이름은 이러하니 맏딸의 이름은 ^ㅏ메랍이요, 작은 딸의 이름은 ^ㅑ미갈이며
    
50. 사울의 아내의 이름은 아히노암이니 아히마아스의 딸이요, ^ㅓ그 軍長(군장)의 이름은 아브넬이니 ^ㅕ사울의 叔父(숙부) 넬의 아들이며
    

46. Saül cessa de poursuivre les Philistins, et les Philistins s'en allèrent chez eux.
    
47. Après que Saül eut pris possession de la royauté sur Israël, il fit de tous côtés la guerre à tous ses ennemis, à Moab, aux enfants d'Ammon, à Édom, aux rois de Tsoba, et aux Philistins; et partout où il se tournait, il était vainqueur.
    
48. Il manifesta sa force, battit Amalek, et délivra Israël de la main de ceux qui le pillaient.
    
49. Les fils de Saül étaient Jonathan, Jischvi et Malkischua. Ses deux filles s'appelaient: l'aînée Mérab, et la plus jeune Mical.
    
50. Le nom de la femme de Saül était Achinoam, fille d'Achimaats. Le nom du chef de son armée était Abner, fils de Ner, oncle de Saül.
    

46. Then Saul stopped pursuing the Philistines, and they withdrew to their own land.
    
47. After Saul had assumed rule over Israel, he fought against their enemies on every side: Moab, the Ammonites, Edom, the kings of Zobah, and the Philistines. Wherever he turned, he inflicted punishment on them.
    
48. He fought valiantly and defeated the Amalekites, delivering Israel from the hands of those who had plundered them.
    
49. Saul's sons were Jonathan, Ishvi and Malki-Shua. The name of his older daughter was Merab, and that of the younger was Michal.
    
50. His wife's name was Ahinoam daughter of Ahimaaz. The name of the commander of Saul's army was Abner son of Ner, and Ner was Saul's uncle.
    

51. 사울의 아비는 ^ㅗ기스요 아브넬의 아비는 넬이니 아비엘의 아들이었더라
    
52. 사울의 사는 날 동안에 블레셋 사람과 큰 싸움이 있었으므로 사울이 힘 있는 者(자)나 勇猛(용맹)있는 者(자)를 보면 그들을 ^ㅛ불러 모았더라
    

51. Kis, père de Saül, et Ner, père d'Abner, étaient fils d'Abiel.
    
52. Pendant toute la vie de Saül, il y eut une guerre acharnée contre les Philistins; et dès que Saül apercevait quelque homme fort et vaillant, il le prenait à son service.
    

51. Saul's father Kish and Abner's father Ner were sons of Abiel.
    
52. All the days of Saul there was bitter war with the Philistines, and whenever Saul saw a mighty or brave man, he took him into his service.
