사무엘이 온 이스라엘에게 이르되 보라, ^으너희가 내게 한 말을 내가 다 듣고 ^이너희 위에 王(왕)을 세웠더니

이제 王(왕)이 ^ㅐ너희 앞에 出入(출입)하느니라 보라, ^ㄱ나는 늙어 머리가 희었고 내 아들들도 너희와 함께 있느니라 내가 어려서부터 오늘날까지 너희 앞에 出入(출입)하였거니와

내가 여기 있나니 여호와 앞과 ^ㄴ그 기름 부음을 받은 者(자) 앞에서 내게 對(대)하여 證據(증거)하라 내가 ^ㄷ뉘 소를 取(취)하였느냐 뉘 나귀를 取(취)하였느냐 누구를 속였느냐 누구를 壓制(압제)하였느냐 내 눈을 흐리게 하는 賂物(뢰물)을 뉘 손에서 取(취)하였느냐 그리하였으면 내가 그것을 너희에게 갚으리라

그들이 가로되 當身(당신)이 우리를 속이지 아니하였고 壓制(압제)하지 아니하였고 뉘 손에서 아무 것도 取(취)한 것이 없나이다

사무엘이 百姓(백성)에게 이르되 너희가 ^ㄹ내 손에서 아무 것도 찾아낸 것이 없음을 여호와께서 너희에게 對(대)하여 證據(증거)하시며 그 기름 부음을 받은 者(자)도 오늘날 證據(증거)하느니라 그들이 가로되 그가 證據(증거)하시나이다

Samuel dit à tout Israël: Voici, j'ai écouté votre voix dans tout ce que vous m'avez dit, et j'ai établi un roi sur vous.

Et maintenant, voici le roi qui marchera devant vous. Pour moi, je suis vieux, j'ai blanchi, et mes fils sont avec vous; j'ai marché à votre tête, depuis ma jeunesse jusqu'à ce jour.

Me voici! Rendez témoignage contre moi, en présence de l'Éternel et en présence de son oint. De qui ai-je pris le boeuf et de qui ai-je pris l'âne? Qui ai-je opprimé, et qui ai-je traité durement? De qui ai-je reçu un présent, pour fermer les yeux sur lui? Je vous le rendrai.

Ils répondirent: Tu ne nous as point opprimés, et tu ne nous as point traités durement, et tu n'as rien reçu de la main de personne.

Il leur dit encore: L'Éternel est témoin contre vous, et son oint est témoin, en ce jour, que vous n'avez rien trouvé dans mes mains. Et ils répondirent: Ils en sont témoins.

Samuel said to all Israel, "I have listened to everything you said to me and have set a king over you.

Now you have a king as your leader. As for me, I am old and gray, and my sons are here with you. I have been your leader from my youth until this day.

Here I stand. Testify against me in the presence of the LORD and his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed? From whose hand have I accepted a bribe to make me shut my eyes? If I have done any of these, I will make it right."

"You have not cheated or oppressed us," they replied. "You have not taken anything from anyone's hand."

Samuel said to them, "The LORD is witness against you, and also his anointed is witness this day, that you have not found anything in my hand." "He is witness," they said.

사무엘이 百姓(백성)에게 이르되 ^ㅁ모세와 아론을 세우시며 너희 列祖(열조)를 애굽 땅에서 引導(인도)하여 내신 이는 여호와시니

그런즉 가만히 섰으라 여호와께서 너희와 너희 列祖(열조)에게 行(행)하신 모든 義(의)로운 일에 對(대)하여 내가 여호와 앞에서 너희와 談論(담론)하리라

^ㅂ야곱이 애굽에 들어간 後(후) ^ㅅ너희 列祖(열조)가 여호와께 부르짖으매 ^ㅇ여호와께서 모세와 아론을 보내사 그 두 사람으로 너희 列祖(열조)를 ^ㅈ애굽에서 ^ㅊ引導(인도)하여 내어 이곳에 居(거)하게 하셨으나

그들이 그 하나님 여호와를 잊은지라 ^ㅋ여호와께서 그들을 하솔 軍長(군장) 시스라의 손과 ^ㅌ블레셋 사람의 손과 ^ㅍ모압 王(왕)의 손에 붙이셨더니 그들이 치매

百姓(백성)이 ^ㅎ여호와께 부르짖어 가로되 우리가 여호와를 버리고 ^ㅏ바알들과 아스다롯을 섬기므로 犯罪(범죄)하였나이다 그러하오나 이제 ^ㅑ우리를 怨讐(원수)들의 손에서 건져 내소서 그리하시면 우리가 主(주)를 섬기겠나이다 하매

Alors Samuel dit au peuple: C'est l'Éternel qui a établi Moïse et Aaron, et qui a fait monter vos pères du pays d'Égypte.

Maintenant, présentez-vous, et je vous jugerai devant l'Éternel sur tous les bienfaits que l'Éternel vous a accordés, à vous et à vos pères.

Après que Jacob fut venu en Égypte, vos pères crièrent à l'Éternel, et l'Éternel envoya Moïse et Aaron, qui firent sortir vos pères d'Égypte et les firent habiter dans ce lieu.

Mais ils oublièrent l'Éternel, leur Dieu; et ils les vendit entre les mains de Sisera, chef de l'armée de Hatsor, entre les mains des Philistins, et entre les mains du roi de Moab, qui leur firent la guerre.

Ils crièrent encore à l'Éternel, et dirent: Nous avons péché, car nous avons abandonné l'Éternel, et nous avons servi les Baals et les Astartés; délivre-nous maintenant de la main de nos ennemis, et nous te servirons.

Then Samuel said to the people, "It is the LORD who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought your forefathers up out of Egypt.

Now then, stand here, because I am going to confront you with evidence before the LORD as to all the righteous acts performed by the LORD for you and your fathers.

"After Jacob entered Egypt, they cried to the LORD for help, and the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your forefathers out of Egypt and settled them in this place.

"But they forgot the LORD their God; so he sold them into the hand of Sisera, the commander of the army of Hazor, and into the hands of the Philistines and the king of Moab, who fought against them.

They cried out to the LORD and said, 'We have sinned; we have forsaken the LORD and served the Baals and the Ashtoreths. But now deliver us from the hands of our enemies, and we will serve you.'

여호와께서 ^ㅓ여룹바알과 ^ㅕ베단과 ^ㅗ입다와 나 ^ㅛ사무엘을 보내사 너희를 너희 四方(사방) 怨讐(원수)의 손에서 건져내사 너희로 安全(안전)히 居(거)하게 하셨거늘

너희가 암몬 子孫(자손)의 王(왕) ^ㅜ나하스의 너희를 치러 옴을 보고 ^ㅠ너희 하나님 여호와께서는 너희의 王(왕)이 되실지라도 ^으너희가 내게 이르기를 아니라 우리를 다스릴 王(왕)이 있어야 하겠다 하였도다

이제 너희의 求(구)한 王(왕) 너희의 ^이擇(택)한 王(왕)을 보라 ^ㅐ여호와께서 너희 위에 王(왕)을 세우셨느니라

너희가 萬一(만일) ^ㄱ여호와를 敬畏(경외)하여 그를 섬기며 그 목소리를 듣고 여호와의 命令(명령)을 拒逆(거역)하지 아니하며 또 너희와 너희를 다스리는 王(왕)이 너희 하나님 여호와를 좇으면 좋으니라마는

^ㄴ너희가 萬一(만일) 여호와의 목소리를 듣지 아니하고 여호와의 命令(명령)을 拒逆(거역)하면 ^ㄷ여호와의 손이 ^ㄹ너희의 列祖(열조)를 치신 것 같이 너희를 치실 것이라

Et l'Éternel envoya Jerubbaal, Bedan, Jephthé et Samuel, et il vous délivra de la main de vos ennemis qui vous entouraient, et vous demeurâtes en sécurité.

Puis, voyant que Nachasch, roi des fils d'Ammon, marchait contre vous, vous m'avez dit: Non! mais un roi régnera sur nous. Et cependant l'Éternel, votre Dieu, était votre roi.

Voici donc le roi que vous avez choisi, que vous avez demandé; voici, l'Éternel a mis sur vous un roi.

Si vous craignez l'Éternel, si vous le servez, si vous obéissez à sa voix, et si vous n'êtes point rebelles à la parole de l'Éternel, vous vous attacherez à l'Éternel, votre Dieu, vous et le roi qui règne sur vous.

Mais si vous n'obéissez pas à la voix de l'Éternel, et si vous êtes rebelles à la parole de l'Éternel, la main de l'Éternel sera contre vous, comme elle a été contre vos pères.

Then the LORD sent Jerub-Baal, Barak, Jephthah and Samuel, and he delivered you from the hands of your enemies on every side, so that you lived securely.

"But when you saw that Nahash king of the Ammonites was moving against you, you said to me, 'No, we want a king to rule over us'--even though the LORD your God was your king.

Now here is the king you have chosen, the one you asked for; see, the LORD has set a king over you.

If you fear the LORD and serve and obey him and do not rebel against his commands, and if both you and the king who reigns over you follow the LORD your God--good!

But if you do not obey the LORD, and if you rebel against his commands, his hand will be against you, as it was against your fathers.

너희는 이제 ^ㅁ가만히 서서 여호와께서 너희 目前(목전)에 行(행)하시는 이 큰 일을 보라

^ㅂ오늘은 밀 베는 때가 아니냐 ^ㅅ내가 여호와께 아뢰리니 여호와께서 雨雷(우뢰)와 비를 보내사 ^ㅇ너희가 王(왕)을 求(구)한 일 곧 여호와의 目前(목전)에 犯(범)한 罪惡(죄악)이 큼을 너희로 밝히 알게 하시리라

이에 사무엘이 여호와께 아뢰매 여호와께서 그 날에 雨雷(우뢰)와 비를 보내시니 ^ㅈ모든 百姓(백성)이 여호와와 사무엘을 크게 두려워하니라

모든 百姓(백성)이 사무엘에게 이르되 當身(당신)의 종들을 爲(위)하여 ^ㅊ當身(당신)의 하나님 여호와께 祈禱(기도)하여 우리로 죽지 않게 하소서 우리가 우리의 모든 罪(죄)에 王(왕)을 求(구)하는 惡(악)을 더하였나이다

사무엘이 百姓(백성)에게 이르되 두려워 말라 너희가 果然(과연) 이 모든 惡(악)을 行(행)하였으나 ^ㅋ여호와를 좇는 데서 돌이키지 말고 오직 너희 마음을 다하여 여호와를 섬기라

Attendez encore ici, et voyez le prodige que l'Éternel va opérer sous vos yeux.

Ne sommes-nous pas à la moisson des blés? J'invoquerai l'Éternel, et il enverra du tonnerre et de la pluie. Sachez alors et voyez combien vous avez eu tort aux yeux de l'Éternel de demander pour vous un roi.

Samuel invoqua l'Éternel, et l'Éternel envoya ce même jour du tonnerre et de la pluie. Tout le peuple eut une grande crainte de l'Éternel et de Samuel.

Et tout le peuple dit à Samuel: Prie l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour tes serviteurs, afin que nous ne mourions pas; car nous avons ajouté à tous nos péchés le tort de demander pour nous un roi.

Samuel dit au peuple: N'ayez point de crainte! Vous avez fait tout ce mal; mais ne vous détournez pas de l'Éternel, et servez l'Éternel de tout votre coeur.

"Now then, stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!

Is it not wheat harvest now? I will call upon the LORD to send thunder and rain. And you will realize what an evil thing you did in the eyes of the LORD when you asked for a king."

Then Samuel called upon the LORD, and that same day the LORD sent thunder and rain. So all the people stood in awe of the LORD and of Samuel.

The people all said to Samuel, "Pray to the LORD your God for your servants so that we will not die, for we have added to all our other sins the evil of asking for a king."
