1. 正月(정월)에 이스라엘 子孫(자손) 곧 온 會衆(회중)이 ^ㅂ신 曠野(광야)에 이르러서 百姓(백성)이 가데스에 居(거)하더니 ^ㅅ미리암이 거기서 죽으매 거기 葬事(장사)하니라
   
2. ^ㅇ會衆(회중)이 물이 없으므로 ^ㅈ모여서 모세와 아론을 攻駁(공박)하니라
   
3. ^ㅊ百姓(백성)이 모세와 다투어 말하여 가로되 ^ㅋ우리 兄弟(형제)들이 여호와 앞에서 죽을 때에 우리도 죽었더면 좋을 뻔 하였도다
   
4. 너희가 어찌하여 여호와의 總會(총회)를 이 曠野(광야)로 引導(인도)하여 올려서 우리와 우리 짐승으로 다 여기서 죽게 하느냐
   
5. 너희가 ^ㅌ어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 나오게 하여 이 惡(악)한 곳으로 引導(인도)하였느냐 이곳에는 播種(파종)할 곳이 없고, 無花果(무화과)도 없고, 葡萄(포도)도 없고, 石榴(석류)도 없고, 마실 물도 없도다
   

1. Und die Kinder Israel kamen mit der ganzen Gemeinde in die Wüste Zin im ersten "Monat," und das Volk lag zu Kades. Und Mirjam starb daselbst und ward daselbst begraben.
   
2. Und die Gemeinde hatte kein "Wasser," und sie versammelten sich wider Mose und Aaron.
   
3. Und das Volk haderte mit Mose und sprach: "Ach," daß wir umgekommen "wären," da unsere Brüder umkamen vor dem HERRN! {~}
   
4. Warum habt ihr die Gemeinde des HERRN in diese Wüste "gebracht," daß wir hier sterben mit unserm Vieh?
   
5. Und warum habt ihr uns aus Ägypten geführt an diesen bösen "Ort," da man nicht säen "kann," da weder Feigen noch Weinstöcke noch Granatäpfel sind und dazu kein Wasser zu trinken?
   

1. In the first month the whole Israelite community arrived at the Desert of Zin, and they stayed at Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried.
   
2. Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron.
   
3. They quarreled with Moses and said, "If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the LORD!
   
4. Why did you bring the LORD'S community into this desert, that we and our livestock should die here?
   
5. Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!"
   

6. 모세와 아론이 總會(총회) 앞을 떠나 會幕(회막) 門(문)에 이르러 ^ㅍ엎드리매 ^ㅎ여호와의 榮光(영광)이 그들에게 나타나며
   
7. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
   
8. ^ㅏ지팡이를 가지고 네 兄(형) 아론과 함께 會衆(회중)을 모으고 그들의 目前(목전)에서 너희는 磐石(반석)에게 命(명)하여 물을 내라 하라 ^ㅑ네가 그 磐石(반석)으로 물을 내게 하여 會衆(회중)과 그들의 짐승에게 마시울지니라
   
9. 모세가 그 命(명)대로 ^ㅓ여호와의 앞에서 지팡이를 取(취)하니라
   
10. 모세와 아론이 總會(총회)를 그 磐石(반석) 앞에 모으고 모세가 그들에게 이르되 悖逆(패역)한 너희여 ^ㅕ들으라 우리가 너희를 爲(위)하여 이 磐石(반석)에서 물을 내랴 하고
    

6. Mose und Aaron gingen vor der Gemeinde zur Tür der Hütte des Stifts und fielen auf ihr "Angesicht," und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erschien ihnen.
   
7. Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
   
8. Nimm den Stab und versammle die "Gemeinde," du und dein Bruder "Aaron," und redet mit dem Fels vor ihren Augen; der wird sein Wasser geben. Also sollst du ihnen Wasser aus dem Fels bringen und die Gemeinde tränken und ihr Vieh.
   
9. Da nahm Mose den Stab vor dem "HERRN," wie er ihm geboten hatte.
   
10. Und Mose und Aaron versammelten die Gemeinde vor den "Fels," und er sprach zu ihnen: "Höret," ihr "Ungehorsamen," werden wir euch Wasser bringen aus jenem Fels?
    

6. Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the LORD appeared to them.
   
7. The LORD said to Moses,
   
8. "Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink."
   
9. So Moses took the staff from the LORD'S presence, just as he commanded him.
   
10. He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, "Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?"
    

11. 그 손을 들어 그 지팡이로 磐石(반석)을 두番(번) 치매 물이 많이 솟아 나오므로 會衆(회중)과 그들의 짐승이 마시니라
    
12. 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 이르시되 ^ㅗ너희가 나를 믿지 아니하고 이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 目前(목전)에 ^ㅛ나의 거룩함을 나타내지 아니한 故(고)로 너희는 이 總會(총회)를 내가 그들에게 준 땅으로 引導(인도)하여 들이지 못하리라 하시니라
    
13. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 여호와와 다투었으므로 ^ㅜ이를 므리바 물이라 하니라 여호와께서 그들 中(중)에서 그 거룩함을 나타내셨더라
    
14. ^ㅠ모세가 가데스에서 ^으에돔 王(왕)에게 使者(사자)를 보내며 이르되 ^이當身(당신)의 兄弟(형제) 이스라엘의 말에 우리의 當(당)한 모든 苦難(고난)을 當身(당신)도 아시거니와
    
15. ^ㅐ우리 列祖(열조)가 애굽으로 내려갔으므로 ^ㄱ우리가 애굽에 오래 居(거)하였더니 ^ㄴ애굽人(인)이 우리 列祖(열조)와 우리를 虐待(학대)하였으므로
    

11. Und Mose hob seine Hand auf und schlug den Fels mit dem Stab zweimal. Da ging viel Wasser "heraus," daß die Gemeinde trank und ihr Vieh.
    
12. Der HERR aber sprach zu Mose und Aaron: Darum daß ihr nicht an mich geglaubt "habt," mich zu heiligen vor den Kindern "Israel," sollt ihr diese Gemeinde nicht in das Land "bringen," das ich ihnen geben werde.
    
13. Das ist das "Haderwasser," darüber die Kinder Israel mit dem HERRN haderten und er geheiligt ward an ihnen.
    
14. Und Mose sandte Botschaft aus Kades zu dem König der Edomiter: Also läßt dir dein Bruder Israel sagen: Du weißt alle die "Mühsal," die uns betroffen "hat,"
    
15. daß unsre Väter nach Ägypten hinabgezogen sind und wir lange Zeit in Ägypten gewohnt "haben," und die Ägypter behandelten uns und unsre Väter übel.
    

11. Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.
    
12. But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them."
    
13. These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the LORD and where he showed himself holy among them.
    
14. Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, saying: "This is what your brother Israel says: You know about all the hardships that have come upon us.
    
15. Our forefathers went down into Egypt, and we lived there many years. The Egyptians mistreated us and our fathers,
    

16. ^ㄷ우리가 여호와께 부르짖었더니 우리 소리를 들으시고 ^ㄹ天使(천사)를 보내사 우리를 애굽에서 引導(인도)하여 내셨나이다 이제 우리가 當身(당신)의 邊方(변방) 모퉁이 한 城邑(성읍) 가데스에 있사오니
    
17. 請(청)컨대 ^ㅁ우리로 當身(당신)의 땅을 通過(통과)하게 하소서 우리가 밭으로나 葡萄園(포도원)으로나 通過(통과)하지 아니하고 ^ㅂ우물물도 空(공)히 마시지 아니하고 우리가 王(왕)의 大路(대로)로만 通過(통과)하고 當身(당신)의 地境(지경)에서 나가기까지 左便(좌편)으로나 右便(우편)으로 치우치지 아니하리이다 한다 하라 하였더니
    
18. 에돔 王(왕)이 對答(대답)하되 너는 우리 가운데로 通過(통과)하지 못하리라 내가 나가서 칼로 너를 맞을까 念慮(념려)하라
    
19. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 이르되 우리가 大路(대로)로 通過(통과)하겠고 ^ㅅ우리나 우리 짐승이 當身(당신)의 물을 마시면 ^ㅇ그 값을 줄 것이라 우리가 徒步(도보)로 通過(통과)할 뿐인즉 아무 일도 없으리이다 하나
    
20. 그는 가로되 ^ㅈ너는 지나가지 못하리라 하고 에돔 王(왕)이 많은 百姓(백성)을 거느리고 나와서 强(강)한 손으로 막으니
    

16. Und wir schrieen zu dem HERRN; der hat unsre Stimme erhört und einen Engel gesandt und uns aus Ägypten geführt. Und "siehe," wir sind zu "Kades," in der Stadt an deinen Grenzen.
    
17. Laß uns durch dein Land ziehen. Wir wollen nicht durch Äcker noch Weinberge "gehen," auch nicht Wasser aus den Brunnen trinken; die Landstraße wollen wir "ziehen," weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken "weichen," bis wir durch deine Grenze kommen.
    
18. Edom aber sprach zu ihnen: Du sollst nicht durch mich "ziehen," oder ich will dir mit dem Schwert entgegenziehen.
    
19. Die Kinder Israel sprachen zu ihm: Wir wollen auf der gebahnten Straße "ziehen," und so wir von deinem Wasser "trinken," wir und unser "Vieh," so wollen wir's bezahlen; wir wollen nichts denn nur zu Fuße hindurchziehen.
    
20. Er aber sprach: Du sollst nicht herdurchziehen. Und die Edomiter zogen "aus," ihnen "entgegen," mit mächtigem Volk und starker Hand.
    

16. but when we cried out to the LORD, he heard our cry and sent an angel and brought us out of Egypt. "Now we are here at Kadesh, a town on the edge of your territory.
    
17. Please let us pass through your country. We will not go through any field or vineyard, or drink water from any well. We will travel along the king's highway and not turn to the right or to the left until we have passed through your territory."
    
18. But Edom answered: "You may not pass through here; if you try, we will march out and attack you with the sword."
    
19. The Israelites replied: "We will go along the main road, and if we or our livestock drink any of your water, we will pay for it. We only want to pass through on foot--nothing else."
    
20. Again they answered: "You may not pass through." Then Edom came out against them with a large and powerful army.
    

21. 에돔 王(왕)이 이같이 이스라엘의 그 境內(경내)로 ^ㅊ通過(통과)함을 容納(용납)지 아니하므로 이스라엘이 그들에게서 ^ㅋ돌이키니라
    
22. 이스라엘 子孫(자손) 곧 온 會衆(회중)이 ^ㅌ가데스에서 進行(진행)하여 ^ㅍ호르山(산)에 이르렀더니
    
23. 여호와께서 에돔 땅 邊境(변경) 호르山(산)에서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하시니라 가라사대
    
24. 아론은 ^ㅎ그 列祖(열조)에게로 돌아가고 내가 이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게 준 땅에는 들어가지 못하리니 이는 ^ㅏ너희가 므리바 물에서 내 말을 拒逆(거역)한 緣故(연고)니라
    
25. 너는 아론과 그 아들 엘르아살을 데리고 호르山(산)에 올라
    

21. Also weigerten sich die "Edomiter," Israel zu "vergönnen," durch ihr Gebiet zu ziehen. Und Israel wich von ihnen.
    
22. Und die Kinder Israel brachen auf von Kades und kamen mit der ganzen Gemeinde an den Berg Hor.
    
23. Und der HERR redete mit Mose und Aaron am Berge "Hor," an den Grenzen des Landes der "Edomiter," und sprach:
    
24. Laß sich Aaron sammeln zu seinem Volk; denn er soll nicht in das Land "kommen," das ich den Kindern Israel gegeben "habe," darum daß ihr meinem Munde ungehorsam gewesen seid bei dem Haderwasser.
    
25. Nimm aber Aaron und seinen Sohn Eleasar und führe sie auf den Berg Hor
    

21. Since Edom refused to let them go through their territory, Israel turned away from them.
    
22. The whole Israelite community set out from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor.
    
23. At Mount Hor, near the border of Edom, the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
    
24. "Aaron will be gathered to his people. He will not enter the land I give the Israelites, because both of you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah.
    
25. Get Aaron and his son Eleazar and take them up Mount Hor.
    

26. 아론의 옷을 벗겨 그 아들 엘르아살에게 입히라 아론은 거기서 죽어 그 列祖(열조)에게로 돌아가리라
    
27. 모세가 여호와의 命(명)을 좇아 그들과 함께 會衆(회중)의 目前(목전)에서 호르山(산)에 오르니라
    
28. ^ㅑ모세가 아론의 옷을 벗겨 그 아들 엘르아살에게 입히매 아론이 ^ㅓ그 山(산)꼭대기에서 죽으니라 모세와 엘르아살이 山(산)에서 내려오니
    
29. 온 會衆(회중) 곧 이스라엘 온 族屬(족속)이 아론의 죽은 것을 보고 ^ㅕ爲(위)하여 三十日(삼십일)을 哀哭(애곡)하였더라
    

26. und zieh Aaron seine Kleider aus und ziehe sie Eleasar "an," seinem Sohne. Und Aaron soll sich daselbst sammeln und sterben.
    
27. Da tat "Mose," wie ihm der HERR geboten "hatte," und sie stiegen auf den Berg Hor vor der ganzen Gemeinde.
    
28. Und Mose zog Aaron seine Kleider aus und zog sie Eleasar "an," seinem Sohne.
    
29. Und Aaron starb daselbst oben auf dem Berge. Mose aber und Eleasar stiegen herab vom Berge. {~} {~} {~} {~} {~} {~} {~} {~} {~} {~}
    

26. Remove Aaron's garments and put them on his son Eleazar, for Aaron will be gathered to his people; he will die there."
    
27. Moses did as the LORD commanded: They went up Mount Hor in the sight of the whole community.
    
28. Moses removed Aaron's garments and put them on his son Eleazar. And Aaron died there on top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain,
    
29. and when the whole community learned that Aaron had died, the entire house of Israel mourned for him thirty days.
