1. 여호와께서 여리고 맞은便(편) 요단 가 ^ㄱ모압 平地(평지)에서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
   
2. ^ㄴ이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게 命(명)하여 그들의 얻은 基業(기업)에서 레위人(인)에게 居(거)할 城邑(성읍)들을 주게 하고 너희는 또 그 城邑(성읍) 四面(사면)의 들을 레위人(인)에게 주어서
   
3. 城邑(성읍)으로는 그들의 居處(거처)가 되게 하고 들로는 그들의 家畜(가축)과 物産(물산)과 짐승들을 둘 곳이 되게 할 것이라
   
4. 너희가 레위人(인)에게 줄 城邑(성읍)들의 들은 ^ㄷ城壁(성벽)에서부터 밖으로 四面(사면) 二千(이천)규빗이라
   
5. 城(성)을 中央(중앙)에 두고 城(성) 밖 東便(동편)으로 二千(이천)규빗, 南便(남편)으로 二千(이천) 규빗, 西便(서편)으로 二千(이천)규빗, 北便(북편)으로 二千(이천)규빗을 測量(측량)할지니 이는 그 들의 城邑(성읍)의 들이며
   

1. Und der HERR redete mit Mose auf den Gefilde der Moabiter am Jordan gegenüber Jericho und sprach:
   
2. Gebiete den Kindern "Israel," daß sie den Leviten Städte geben von ihren Erbgütern zur Wohnung;
   
3. dazu Vorstädte um die Städte her sollt ihr den Leviten auch "geben," daß sie in den Städten wohnen und in den Vorstädten ihr Vieh und Gut und allerlei Tiere haben.
   
4. Die Weite aber der "Vorstädte," die ihr den Leviten "gebt," soll tausend Ellen draußen vor der Stadtmauer umher haben.
   
5. So sollt ihr nun messen außen an der Stadt von der Ecke gegen Morgen zweitausend Ellen und von der Ecke gegen Mittag zweitausend Ellen und von der Ecke gegen Abend zweitausend Ellen und von der Ecke gegen Mitternacht zweitausend "Ellen," daß die Stadt in der Mitte sei. Das sollen ihre Vorstädte sein.
   

1. On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, the LORD said to Moses,
   
2. "Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in from the inheritance the Israelites will possess. And give them pasturelands around the towns.
   
3. Then they will have towns to live in and pasturelands for their cattle, flocks and all their other livestock.
   
4. "The pasturelands around the towns that you give the Levites will extend out fifteen hundred feet from the town wall.
   
5. Outside the town, measure three thousand feet on the east side, three thousand on the south side, three thousand on the west and three thousand on the north, with the town in the center. They will have this area as pastureland for the towns.
   

6. 너희가 레위人(인)에게 줄 城邑(성읍)은 殺人者(살인자)로 避(피)케 할 逃避城(도피성)으로 ^ㄹ여섯 城邑(성읍)이요, 그 外(외)에 四十二(사십이) 城邑(성읍)이라
   
7. 너희가 레위人(인)에게 모두 ^ㅁ四十八(사십팔) 城邑(성읍)을 주고 그 들도 함께 주되
   
8. ^ㅂ이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 産業(산업)에서 레위人(인)에게 너희가 城邑(성읍)을 줄 때에 ^ㅅ많이 얻은 者(자)에게서는 많이 取(취)하여 주고 적게 얻은 者(자)에게서는 적게 取(취)하여 줄 것이라 各其(각기) 얻은 産業(산업)을 따라서 그 城邑(성읍)들을 레위人(인)에게 줄지니라
   
9. 여호와께서 또 모세에게 일러 가라사대
   
10. 이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게 말하여 그들에게 이르라 ^ㅇ너희가 요단을 건너 가나안 땅에 들어 가거든
    

6. Und unter den "Städten," die ihr den Leviten geben "werdet," sollt ihr sechs Freistädte "geben," daß dahinein "fliehe," wer einen Totschlag getan hat. Über dieselben sollt ihr noch zweiundvierzig Städte "geben,"
   
7. daß alle "Städte," die ihr den Leviten "gebt," seien achtundvierzig mit ihren Vorstädten.
   
8. Und sollt derselben desto mehr geben von "denen," die viel besitzen unter den Kindern "Israel," und desto weniger von "denen," die wenig besitzen; ein jeglicher nach seinem "Erbteil," das ihm zugeteilt "wird," soll Städte den Leviten geben.
   
9. Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
   
10. Rede mit den Kindern Israel und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ihr über den Jordan ins Land Kanaan "kommt,"
    

6. "Six of the towns you give the Levites will be cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone may flee. In addition, give them forty-two other towns.
   
7. In all you must give the Levites forty-eight towns, together with their pasturelands.
   
8. The towns you give the Levites from the land the Israelites possess are to be given in proportion to the inheritance of each tribe: Take many towns from a tribe that has many, but few from one that has few."
   
9. Then the LORD said to Moses:
   
10. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,
    

11. 너희를 爲(위)하여 ^ㅈ城邑(성읍)을 逃避城(도피성)으로 定(정)하여 그릇 殺人(살인)한 者(자)로 그리로 避(피)하게 하라
    
12. 이는 너희가 報酬(보수)할 者(자)에게서 逃避(도피)하는 城(성)을 삼아 殺人者(살인자)가 會衆(회중)앞에 서서 判決(판결)을 받기까지 죽지 않게 하기 爲(위)함이니라
    
13. 너희가 줄 城邑(성읍) 中(중)에 ^ㅊ여섯으로 逃避城(도피성)이 되게 하되
    
14. 세 ^ㅋ城邑(성읍)은 요단 이 便(편)에서 주고 세 城邑(성읍)은 가나안 땅에서 주어 逃避城(도피성)이 되게 하라
    
15. 이 여섯 城邑(성읍)은 이스라엘 子孫(자손)과 ^ㅌ他國人(타국인)과 이스라엘 中(중)에 寓居(우거)하는 者(자)의 逃避城(도피성)이 되리니 무릇 그릇 殺人(살인)한 者(자)가 그리로 逃避(도피)할 수 있으리라
    

11. sollt ihr Städte "auswählen," daß sie Freistädte "seien," wohin "fliehe," wer einen Totschlag unversehens tut.
    
12. Und sollen unter euch solche Freistädte sein vor dem "Bluträcher," daß der nicht sterben "müsse," der einen Totschlag getan "hat," bis daß er vor der Gemeinde vor Gericht gestanden sei.
    
13. Und der "Städte," die ihr geben werdet zu "Freistädten," sollen sechs sein.
    
14. Drei sollt ihr geben diesseit des Jordans und drei im Lande Kanaan. {~} {~} {~}
    
15. Das sind die sechs "Freistädte," den Kindern Israel und den Fremdlingen und den Beisassen unter "euch," daß dahin "fliehe," wer einen Totschlag getan hat unversehens.
    

11. select some towns to be your cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone accidentally may flee.
    
12. They will be places of refuge from the avenger, so that a person accused of murder may not die before he stands trial before the assembly.
    
13. These six towns you give will be your cities of refuge.
    
14. Give three on this side of the Jordan and three in Canaan as cities of refuge.
    
15. These six towns will be a place of refuge for Israelites, aliens and any other people living among them, so that anyone who has killed another accidentally can flee there.
    

16. ^ㅍ萬一(만일) 鐵(철) 연장으로 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 故殺(고살)한 者(자)니 그 故殺者(고살자)를 반드시 죽일 것이요
    
17. 萬一(만일) 사람을 죽일 만한 돌을 손에 들고 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 故殺(고살)한 者(자)니 그 故殺者(고살자)를 반드시 죽일 것이요
    
18. 萬一(만일) 사람을 죽일 만한 나무 연장을 손에 들고 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 故殺(고살)한 者(자)니 그 故殺者(고살자)를 반드시 죽일 것이니라
    
19. ^ㅎ피를 報酬(보수)하는 者(자)가 그 故殺者(고살자)를 親(친)히 죽일 것이니 그를 만나거든 죽일 것이요
    
20. 萬一(만일) 미워하는 까닭에 밀쳐 죽이거나 ^ㅏ機會(기회)를 엿보아 무엇을 던져 죽이거나
    

16. Wer jemand mit einem Eisen "schlägt," daß er "stirbt," der ist ein Totschläger und soll des Todes sterben.
    
17. Wirft er ihn mit einem "Stein," mit dem jemand mag getötet "werden," daß er davon "stirbt," so ist er ein Totschläger und soll des Todes sterben.
    
18. Schlägt er ihn aber mit einem "Holz," mit dem jemand mag totgeschlagen "werden," daß er "stirbt," so ist er ein Totschläger und soll des Todes sterben.
    
19. Der Rächer des Bluts soll den Totschläger zum Tode bringen; wo er ihm "begegnet," soll er ihn töten.
    
20. Stößt er ihn aus Haß oder wirft etwas auf ihn aus "List," daß er "stirbt,"
    

16. "'If a man strikes someone with an iron object so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
    
17. Or if anyone has a stone in his hand that could kill, and he strikes someone so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
    
18. Or if anyone has a wooden object in his hand that could kill, and he hits someone so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
    
19. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death; when he meets him, he shall put him to death.
    
20. If anyone with malice aforethought shoves another or throws something at him intentionally so that he dies
    

21. 怨恨(원한)으로 因(인)하여 손으로 쳐죽이면 그 친 者(자)를 반드시 죽일 것이니 이는 故殺(고살)하였음이라 피를 報酬(보수)하는 者(자)가 그 故殺者(고살자)를 만나거든 죽일 것이니라
    
22. 怨恨(원한) 없이 偶然(우연)히 사람을 밀치거나 ^ㅑ機會(기회)를 엿봄이 없이 무엇을 던지거나
    
23. 보지 못하고 사람을 죽일 만한 돌을 던져서 죽였다 하자 이는 怨恨(원한)도 없고 害(해)하려 한 것도 아닌즉
    
24. ^ㅓ會衆(회중)이 친 者(자)와 피를 報酬(보수)하는 者(자) 間(간)에 이 規例(규례)대로 判決(판결)하여
    
25. 피를 報酬(보수)하는 者(자)의 손에서 殺人者(살인자)를 건져내어 그가 避(피)하였던 逃避城(도피성)으로 돌려 보낼 것이요 그는 ^ㅕ거룩한 기름 부음을 받은 大祭司長(대제사장)의 ^ㅗ죽기까지 거기 居(거)할 것이니라
    

21. oder schlägt ihn aus Feindschaft mit seiner "Hand," daß er "stirbt," so soll er des Todes "sterben," der ihn geschlagen hat; denn er ist ein Totschläger. Der Rächer des Bluts soll ihn zum Tode "bringen," wo er ihm begegnet.
    
22. Wenn er ihn aber ungefähr "stößt," ohne "Feindschaft," oder wirft irgend etwas auf ihn unversehens
    
23. oder wirft irgend einen Stein auf "ihn," davon man sterben "mag," und er hat's nicht "gesehen," also daß er "stirbt," und er ist nicht sein "Feind," hat ihm auch kein Übles "gewollt,"
    
24. so soll die Gemeinde richten zwischen "dem," der geschlagen "hat," und dem Rächer des Bluts nach diesen Rechten.
    
25. Und die Gemeinde soll den Totschläger erretten von der Hand des Bluträchers und soll ihn wiederkommen lassen zu der "Freistadt," dahin er geflohen war; und er soll daselbst "bleiben," bis daß der Hohepriester "sterbe," den man mit dem heiligen Öl gesalbt hat.
    

21. or if in hostility he hits him with his fist so that he dies, that person shall be put to death; he is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.
    
22. "'But if without hostility someone suddenly shoves another or throws something at him unintentionally
    
23. or, without seeing him, drops a stone on him that could kill him, and he dies, then since he was not his enemy and he did not intend to harm him,
    
24. the assembly must judge between him and the avenger of blood according to these regulations.
    
25. The assembly must protect the one accused of murder from the avenger of blood and send him back to the city of refuge to which he fled. He must stay there until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.
    

26. 그러나 殺人者(살인자)가 어느 때든지 그 避(피)하였던 逃避城(도피성) 地境(지경) 밖에 나갔다 하자
    
27. 피를 報酬(보수)하는 者(자)가 逃避城(도피성) 地境(지경) 밖에서 그 殺人者(살인자)를 만나 죽일지라도 爲(위)하여 피흘린 罪(죄)가 없나니
    
28. 이는 殺人者(살인자)가 大祭司長(대제사장)의 죽기까지 그 逃避城(도피성)에 留(유)하였을 것임이라 大祭司長(대제사장)의 죽은 後(후)에는 그 殺人者(살인자)가 自己(자기)의 産業(산업)의 땅으로 돌아갈 수 있느니라
    
29. 이는 너희 代代(대대)로 居(거)하는 곳에서 判斷(판단)하는 ^ㅛ律禮(율례)라
    
30. 무릇 사람을 죽인 者(자) 곧 故殺者(고살자)를 ^ㅜ證人(증인)들의 말을 따라서 죽일 것이나 한 證人(증인)의 證據(증거)만 따라서 죽이지 말 것이요
    

26. Wird aber der Totschläger aus seiner Freistadt Grenze "gehen," dahin er geflohen "ist,"
    
27. und der Bluträcher findet ihn außerhalb der Grenze seiner Freistadt und schlägt ihn "tot," so soll er des Bluts nicht schuldig sein.
    
28. Denn er sollte in seiner Freistadt bleiben bis an den Tod des "Hohenpriesters," und nach des Hohenpriesters Tod wieder zum Lande seines Erbguts kommen.
    
29. Das soll euch ein Recht sein bei euren "Nachkommen," "überall," wo ihr wohnt.
    
30. Den Totschläger soll man töten nach dem Mund zweier Zeugen. Ein Zeuge soll nicht aussagen über eine Seele zum Tode. {~} {~}
    

26. "'But if the accused ever goes outside the limits of the city of refuge to which he has fled
    
27. and the avenger of blood finds him outside the city, the avenger of blood may kill the accused without being guilty of murder.
    
28. The accused must stay in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest; only after the death of the high priest may he return to his own property.
    
29. "'These are to be legal requirements for you throughout the generations to come, wherever you live.
    
30. "'Anyone who kills a person is to be put to death as a murderer only on the testimony of witnesses. But no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.
    

31. 殺人罪(살인죄)를 犯(범)한 故殺者(고살자)의 生命(생명)의 贖錢(속전)을 받지 말고 반드시 죽일 것이며
    
32. 또 逃避城(도피성)에 避(피)한 者(자)를 大祭司長(대제사장)의 죽기 前(전)에는 贖錢(속전)을 받고 그의 땅으로 돌아가 居(거)하게 하지 말 것이니라
    
33. ^ㅠ너희는 居(거)하는 땅을 더럽히지 말라 피는 땅을 더럽히나니 ^으피 흘림을 받은 땅은 이를 흘리게 한 者(자)의 피가 아니면 贖(속)할 수 없느니라
    
34. ^이너희는 너희 居(거)하는 땅 곧 나의 居(거)하는 땅을 더럽히지 말라 ^ㅐ나 여호와가 이스라엘 子孫(자손) 中(중)에 居(거)함이니라
    

31. Und ihr sollt keine Versühnung nehmen für die Seele eines Totschlägers; denn er ist des Todes "schuldig," und er soll des Todes sterben.
    
32. Und sollt keine Versühnung nehmen für "den," der zur Freistadt geflohen "ist," daß er "wiederkomme," zu wohnen im "Lande," bis der Priester sterbe.
    
33. Und schändet das Land "nicht," darin ihr wohnet; denn wer blutschuldig "ist," der schändet das "Land," und das Land kann vom Blut nicht versöhnt "werden," das darin vergossen "wird," außer durch das Blut "des," der es vergossen hat.
    
34. Verunreinigt das Land "nicht," darin ihr "wohnet," darin ich auch wohne; denn ich bin der "HERR," der unter den Kindern Israel wohnt.
    

31. "'Do not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer, who deserves to die. He must surely be put to death.
    
32. "'Do not accept a ransom for anyone who has fled to a city of refuge and so allow him to go back and live on his own land before the death of the high priest.
    
33. "'Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.
    
34. Do not defile the land where you live and where I dwell, for I, the LORD, dwell among the Israelites.'"
